Absolutely NO follow up to issues.

Been in the home for 4 months and they still haven't sent anyone to fix things. I've called and emailed. Back yard still flooding from just rain, wait until we have a hurricane water will be in my house. Lots of issues with this home.

I have had multiple issues since moving in. A/C was out for almost two weeks in June. Dishwasher needing a technician to come out due to improper installation. Outside siding falling off and the cutting of my Internet/cable line due to not being marked. Almost forgot, a missing drawer in my bathroom vanity when I moved in. They ship the drawer to me in four different packages and I have to assemble it and install. And they never sent me the hardware for the drawer assembly or asked if everything is okay. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else

First and foremost, I pondered whether or not I wanted to write this review because I don’t like writing anything negative, however I think it’s necessary. For the amount of money I spent purchasing this home and the quality DOES NOT MATCH! I have had this home literally fall apart in front of my eyes. One issue after another and this is my 5th home, 4th that I’ve built and I’ve never experienced issues like this before. I have received notices from the HOA about my yard but yet the sprinklers were inoperable, and I had a work order in. The plants were dying and yes they place the cheapest mess in your yard , which is horrible to begin with. It literally look like a desert in your front yard! What type of curb appeal is this? Although I’ve had the contractors come out to fix the items, some have needed to be repaired a few times and that is not cool whatsoever! I closed in May and here it is only September and I’ve wasted more time at home waiting for a repairman than actually taking the time to enjoy the home. Instead of them applying semi gloss paint over the home, they Painted with flat paint, therefore the moment you close and move in, you’re hunting down a contractor to paint your hole which is an additional 3k. I have had to contact the individual who basically hand over the keys to obtain my keys, gate code, and my remote for the gate, when that should have been left at the door. It’s unnecessary and if Lennar is calling this quality??? Then they really need to speak with another builder to understand what quality is. It’s insane! After moving into the house and living in it we have found screw heads coming through all the walls, doors needing tightening so rain does not come through, driveway cracked where you can actually pick a piece out, concrete walkway not good workmanship, we have only lived in the house for a little over a month. Afraid of what awaits us

The quality of the homes here are poor at best. Materials used are basic trac home quality. The tradesman have little to no skill set, and the superintendents are lacking people skills as well as professional development.

The front end of the buying experience was great. I appreciated the professionalism and prompt assistance we received from Patrick Sleeper and Dennise Vigil. We received a rushed orientation where we were told we could mark up what we saw that needed to be addressed. For a house our size, we had a quick one-hour orientation, because another one was scheduled right after ours that one couldn't be late for. We rushed through each room with barely enough time to mark the areas that needed attention. I addressed an area of concern and was told, "I wasn't getting a custom home!" he proceeded to make excuses for the imperfections and proceeded to talk about me when I walked away. Come move-in day, we get the house as is and what was marked up was to be completed by service at a later date. Our tape marks were simply removed and only a few things were fixed before they moved on to the next home. I never imagined moving into my first new-built home and being as dissatisfying as I was. Come closing day, my home was not move-in ready, and countertops, floors, cabinets, stairs, everything was covered in dust. The house was vacuumed but vacuum marks aren't enough when you can't move in immediately because you have to do a thorough cleaning beforehand. Our lights were left on in the home, we had trash in our front yard, our shower rod in one of our bathrooms was not hung, our carpet was lifting on the stairs due to the nails not being pounded down, areas of the floor were incomplete as the tile was not placed all the way to the wall, our baseboards are wavy and the drywall is wavy. We hired painters who we're having to pay more because they have to fix what the Lennar painters didn't do right the first time. Our painter pulled a vent off to paint the wall only to find someone's lunch trash. A can of Coke and a Wendy's wrapper were left right inside the vent for us to throw away. Lastly, we had urine and other evidence in 4 out of our 5 toilets from contractors using our bathrooms and not cleaning up after themselves when we were told it was cleaned. There was no soap or paper towels in the home so hands weren't being washed while the filth was spread throughout the house. The model and layout of the home are great. Everyone who comes in after can care less about building a home with dignity for Lennar to sell to hardworking people. ... More

Be aware of new homes they putting them up 2 fast always remember that if there r 10 people working on your home at least 4-5 of them will cut corners leaving u wit problems down the line stay woke

I own 1 WCI home, 2 Lennar Veranda Homes, and a Terrace home under contract. My experience with WCI was great however, unfortunately, my experience with Lennar Veranda homes has been miserable, to say the least. I closed on one Bromelia in May and am still waiting for things to be taken care of. I have called and left multiple messages and I have sent several e-mails without any respose at all from Lennar. You guys are irresponsible and I can not recommend you to anybody.

Horrible HOA that doesn’t address issues. Bad quality of build. Walls aren’t square.

I have friends and family that brought homes in this community. After months of living in it they say their workmanship or how they build the home it’s cheap. Doing walk through the home many many blue tapes to the home. Some of the items they take the tape off or on closing they will try to get it done before we come back from closing. Then items are not and they leave it there as if the Buyers forget. This builder has cricked exterior bricks, and bathrooms are cricked tiles (some corners are sticking out and the other sticking in). Months of moving in no landscaping just left with dirt. The last thing is the window screens, when it arrives they put in the front door and leave it there. Then sends you an email with a YouTube video of how to put it on. I would say this builder hires all the new workers who has no experience and put the home together. After buying the home the response and home warranty is not good either. ... More

I would warn future home buyers on the poor quality and lack of care in the craftsmanship. Painting and caulking where poorly done or missed completely. Materials like cabinets and doors have multiple dings and dents. Missing parts for appliances . Damages to shower glass and bathroom tub. There are inconsistencies with placement of materials. It’s clear that there is no care or compassion with the build of the homes. In discussion with neighbors I confirmed it’s the same for them as well.

My issue is my propane bill, it’s highly expensive. If I knew my propane bill was going to be over $500 dollars a month I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED. The builder who is the owner of the propane company is charging the seniors too much money. There’s no way I should be paying over $500 monthly especially when my thermostat is at 68 degrees which is very cold and further more I’m on a fixed income (I cannot pay my bill). Also, there’s a fowl smell every night which is unbearable and I was not informed that there’s a chicken coop in the back. I’m totally unhappy with my purchase.

Purchased home thinking it was a great buy, sales man was great. Quality of material used are of lowest grade. Cheap , had few issues after closing , some resolved , Still stranded for 21 days from a plumbing issue.

Day two our downs stairs bathroom , bedroom filled with raw sewage due to a sewage valve installed backwards, for the last 7 weeks we've been dealing with repairs which has been horrible. Quality of work is below standard, poor communication from all all stress of repairs have been placed on my wife which is ridicules. All that has been fixed now we're dealing with an upstairs bedroom flooring issue floor has a low spot which somehow was missed on inspection and our dryer vent was stuccoed shut cayseubg out dryer not to work and no one has fixed because apparently it's not a big deal. This was an purchased as an investment property as good thing this was not our main residence. We had our walk thru with the main project manager and gave him a punch list of items that needed attention and or repaired. None of it got done (even after we closed) and they had us submit any issues once they got their money to a website to submit any further claims or issues. After a week of calling they came out and fixed some of the issues and we still have several items were still waiting on hat need attention. This has been ongoing on for over a month now. Very poor customer service and the quality for what you pay for is very subpar. I would avoid this homebuilder if you can (especially if this is your main residence) ... More

Our buying experience was great until it was time to close. Our walkthrough was a waste because we couldn’t actually get in to the house and the punch list was SO long they told us that it just wouldn’t get done. We ultimately were forced to close on our half finished house that is already starting to fall apart one moth into it. So beyond disappointing.

Our home buying experience with Lennar went very smooth. Unfortunately that’s where the happy story ends. I am appalled with the workmanship and what we were presented with as a “final” and supposedly “new” product. Wood is split all over…there are chunks missing from my cabinets, and the paint job quite literally looks like it was completed by amateur middle schoolers. There’s paint all over the carpets and floors…railings…light fixtures….it’s horrendous. We were also assured that the wifi is suburb and the home was crafted to allow wifi to reach all areas of the house with top speeds. The wifi sucks and only reaches about 1/2 of the house. Our biggest issue to date has been the noise coming from the house on top of ours. Again, we were assured that the insulation was amazing and noise would be minimal. We can hear every conversations, TVs, footsteps, whenever they run their appliances, we hear it all. I’m living in the most uncomfortable conditions and feel I was conned and lied to by Lennar. I get buyers remorse every day I wake up, and needless to say I cannot wait to get out. ... More

We closed on 10/30/2024 and couldn't wait to get into our new home. Unfortunately from the moment we moved in it's been issue after issue. Missing grout in the tile, broken tile, doors hitting each other, scratched sinks, trim not flushed to the wall, sloppy painting, misaligned doors, interior doors not finished on the bottom, holes in garage trim, chunks missing from concrete, cabinets shiny or rough.One thing after another and every time they come out, something else gets worse. What kind of builder leaves a house like this?!?! They finally repaired the concrete holes but damaged the pavers from wiping the wet concrete onto them. It took weeks to get the pavers replaced and once they replaced the pavers guess what? New chunks in the concrete!!! The only thing that has been fixed in two months is the sink . NOT GOOD! I am not happy about how they made the house so cheap!!

Neither the concrete subcontractor or the irrigation subcontractor showed up at the time I was told they would be here. I have not heard from either of them. The floor in the garage looks like a spiderweb. I am concerned The cracks will continue into the house and ruin the tile .I do not understand the lack of response from your subcontractors. On my final walk-through I mentioned to your representative I thought someone should have been in the house much earlier to take care of things that were still being done on the day of the walk-through. His response was “ I got here after the build was complete so it is not my house.” Not a good response. ... More

I opened a Lennar warranty request on Jan 25th 2023 shortly after moving in. The reqest Case#05105695. Lennar warranty Customer Care Rep Jacob has been promising the repair work for months now and noboby ever shows up. The backyard and side yard floods and has standing water for days after it rains. Turning the yard into a mudd pit. When I refused to sign a work order complete document they just closed the work case.

Customer services after purchase is horrible. There's alot of issues with the new home. Submitted request only for Lennar to deny. Issues not resolved. -drainage issues -hvac issues -plumbing issues

There were multiple issues with poor workmanship. Especially with drywall, trim, patios and driveway. There was damage done by the cleaners after our new home orientation and because it wasn't noted on the new home orientation they would not fix it. Even though the damage happened in-between these two appointments and was not done by us. Our construction manager was not very knowledgeable about the process and gave us incorrect information on the builders warranty. I was very disappointed and we are now left with our brand new house feeling like we now need to spend more money to make repairs so that the house is done right. ... More
