We had a great experience with the builder, From watching our home be built to our walkthrough, Thanks Dan'te, and moving into our new home.

Affordable house. I understand I was getting a house cheaper than the rest of the market average and that's what I feel like I got. Not a fan of the process you walk the house prior to your closing date and get told no need to point out every defficiency they'll all get addressed. Then you walk it right before closing and get told "if we didn't point it out last time we can't address it now". When you get told that feels very scummy. Had a plumbing leak week of move in. Items were not addressed prior to closing but that's on me for agreeing to sign. Main construction lead not a pleasant guy to deal with. Warranty lead is nice enough but communication is terrible. Office people told me wrong closing date and never apologized or mentioned it. You take off work days ahead of time for the date to be wrong and only find out when talking to the mortgage side of things. Frustrating. Overall affordable house and I got what I paid for so I'm grateful. Am I making sure my home insurance is at max coverage and lowest deductible you bet. Thank you lennar. ... More

We’ve had several issues starting at the signing of the contract to present day. It’s not an experience to at I would want to relive. At this point would be hard to recommend to others. Sorry!

My whole process was very fast. Within the short period however, the loan process was very frustrating. The loan officer was difficult to reach at times plus some of the people who were working my loan lived in another time zone, making it even harder to communicate/connect with. The person who initiated the homebuying process basically disappeared after I put my down payment down. As a first time homeowner, I feel like the experience could’ve been way better.The house overall was nice until I moved in and experienced 2 roof leaks from the sealant being broken. Though it was quickly fixed, I believe as a new house there shouldn’t be a problem with the roof but then again they build the houses very quickly! ... More

The baseboards are all cardboard. They never finished our yard. The roads are always clogged with construction workers all over the place. They wake you up banging at 6 am. The closets all needed to be braces downstairs. The construction vehicles have created cracks in our driveway. We have found more paint issues. Our first person dealing with Pam was awesome and extremely helpful but from there very lackluster.

I'm still waiting for something to be done about it. Being the last house on the block and near the about to be built community pool it seems like they threw in last minute grass. I'm working on the front lawn, but it's taking a little time. I'm also working on the sides of the house to remove the dirt and stones that 2 young men (didn't understand or speak English, it was hard to communicate with them) tried to fill in the gaps. The dirt and stones came from the grounds where the community pool will be. BTW: I don't blame them they were told what to do. This will take time to do. At 76 it's getting tougher to handle all of it. The full backyard is even worse which will take me mouths to do. I can only work so long before my back starts to bother me. It would be nice for a professional landscaper to come and talk to me and to what can be done. Remember just because they call themselves a landscaper doesn't mean they are professional. We can compromise, redo the backyard and I'll finish the front and sides of the house. If you do this, I want to be present when they lay the sod down. Call me when you can. Our closing date has been moved and no proper communication and the delay of everything though the documents has been submitted a couple months back before closing date. Travelling all the way from WI to CO for closing in bad weather and information on cancellation due to underwriting delays and the Sales responsibility and each of the persons involved was very concerned. The response of delays and the way staff communicate was not good . It’s kind of staff answering like you take or leave the agreement for the conversations which we have concerns about the insurance. I would like potential home buyers to know that the team at Lennar is awesome to work with. The loan officers are friendly and courteous. The are more than willing to answer any questions you may have as well taking care of all documentation needed to process your loan in a timely manner, They respond to emails and phone calls promptly. The construction manager was also great to work with providing updated information on a regular basis. We were very pleased with the quality of the way our home was built. The closing department was also great. We highly recommend Lennar to anyone considering a new construction built home. ... More

Purchase this model only for because of the layout and having my mom close. Excellent floor plan. Quality of work and materials used could be better. Compromise only for floorplan layout and lot size.

The few problems we have have been addressed and resolved very quickly. We have been very satisfied with our new home and all or the Lennar staff we have asked for assistance and information.

Horrible experience off the bat. Realtor lied about the property line. house wasn’t finished when it was supposed To be on our “final walkthrough”. I felt very rushed and pressured to sign paperwork. I will never buy a lennar home again.

Overall total experience went very well. Quality of home appears to be very good. Any issues that I’ve had has been dealt with promptly and done correctly. Also, sales staff were pleasant to work with and helpful.

Did not care for one of the Lennar Mortgage folks. Rick was very abrupt every time I had to speak with him. Always trying to talk past me and really did not listen to what I had to say. He tried making me get a loan for $10,000 more than what I needed. The only reason I stayed with them was because the rate they offered compared to other lenders.

Major complaint was in the lawn. Sod was placed haphazardly. Very uneven and hazardous to walk on. High spots and low spots can cause ankle twists and tripping.

I had a pleasant experience with my construction manager and my warranty tech that met me on site and explained everything to me. They both wonderful and only because of them, would I rate this super high. The absolute worst part of this experience was my Lennar Sales Rep. Martha didn't really explain anything I had asked her to. She just gave me the basic information and showed me the house. Thankfully, when I went to a different Lennar Sales Rep (Princeton Lennar was amazing!) the week before that explained everything very well and took care of me. I just wasn't approved for the house with them, so they referred me to the Crandall area. Back to the Crandall Lennar Sales Rep. The Rep avoided many questions both me and my real estate agent would ask. I had texted her a few times to get answers to some basic questions, then she would just call me instead while I was occupied elsewhere. The calls weren't super helpful, I had an issue where my home keys didn't have the tag of where my mailbox was, and my sales rep called me just to complain and mention "oh you should have the tag in there that tells you where your mailbox is" after multiple times I told her, nothing was in the envelope. I informed her I still had the envelope and all it's contents still in there, but she called me 3x times to tell me "it should be in there". All 3x I answered her call, that's all she would say and never actually got me an answer. I ended up walking around the neighborhood for about 2 hours trying every mailbox I could. Just an overall terrible experience with the sales rep. But everyone else was amazing! Construction manager was fantastic and super receptive. He personally showed up on my key day and verified they fixed the counter top for me. Warranty tech was well spoken and super knowledgeable. Home buying process with Lennar lender was not smooth lots of back and forth. Quality of home is just ok. Considering the amount of HOA fees I would expect some community amenities but there are none.

I believe the walkthroughs are more for show than making all corrections. The major items were handled but the "minor" items that are more cosmetic are really not addressed.

Overall I have been pleased with my purchase. The couple of issues I’ve had since moving in were resolved quickly. Well all except the issue with the construction workers loud music on a daily basis. Other than that I’m very pleased with my new home.

Sales representative was excellent in communicating each step of the way in the building of the home including weekly video or photo updates. Settlement through Lennie Mortgage was effortless. Although overall the home is solidly built, the dishwasher and range are builder’s grade as is the carpeting requiring immediate replacement. Sheet rock for walls appears to be lower quality than usual. Ceiling puck lights in bathrooms provide poor illumination of vanity in lieu of lighting immediately above mirrors as shown in model homes. Considering the cost of these homes a few upgrades would have earned the builder a 5-star rating in my book. ... More

Lennar just wants to sell you the home and after closing if you discover something was missing or damaged like a scratched mirror or stained countertop and you didn't discover it during the walkthrough, they'll tell you it's not covered under warranty even though they tell you a million times before closing that don't worry you have a one year warranty! Apparently the warranty is worthless.

Very hard a times to get responses to our questions. Being in central time zone we would get information so late in day we couldn’t get things sorted out before people were gone. Not knowing whom to contact at times it seemed like we were directed to a lot of different people that we hadn’t really talked to. Easier to deal with 1-2 individuals for us.

Buying sight unseen is scary enough yet we were pleased with the overall outcome. Disappointed that we could not make changes AT ALL. Changes that would have not cost the builder extra but will now be extra for us. Our 2nd Sr Loan Processor was very difficult to deal with.. She almost broke the deal for us… Communication was difficult… I have sent emails after move in, no response!!!

We moved after 6 weeks of closing date and we still do not have a contact person and customer service to resolve the pending issues.. We like the house and the place but we have not had personalized assistance.

Poor quality of the general construction material of the house and the trees are installed too close to the structure of the house, causing the concrete to break in future years and also the concrete they use is very poor quality than the entrance floor of the house, garage breaks down in the first days of living in the house and also the HOA is very expensive $ 90 a month, they offer absolutely nothing.We do not have swimming pools or a place to exercise to justify such an expensive payment.
