I can't speak on craftsmanship after only owning the house for 2 months time will tell. But while in process of purchasing the house I worked with Aurora, as my mortgage agent. The amount of incompetence I experienced was astonishing I had to resend the same documents 4 or 5 times I can only assume because she didn't read my whole emails. Even after the house was closed I had issues with her threatening me legally because I stopped responding until I finally had to break down the math myself to show this "expert" how bank accounts work the threatening emails and letters have stopped for now I assume she finally figured it out. I am a real estate investor that was looking to buy another house in this neighborhood but my experience in the purchase of this house has made me look elsewhere ... More

Overall, the experience with all the Lennar staff has been very good. They understand what customer service means to people like my wife and me. The only comment about needing improvement is some of the contractors following up. The lack of getting a contractor to resolve an issue doesn't reflect how hard Dan and Zach are working to resolve the issues and due to their efforts we are are making progress. Greatly appreciate their level of effort and customer service.

LENNAR HOMES CHEAP BUILDER MATERIAL quality Company

While we are grateful to be in our new home, the purchasing experience was difficult and much more painful than it should have been. From the beginning, we were transparent with the sales agent, Mike, and we wanted to purchase in the community. Yet, we had to follow up with numerous emails and phone calls over a period of weeks to get the buyer's paperwork started. I'm convinced that the only reason his partner, Robyn, finally followed through is because they wanted to close the deal before the end of the calendar year. Despite not having been responsive themselves, they imposed fast deadlines before the EOY, so we were cramming to submit everything before the holidays. Once the purchasing paperwork was completed, we went through an even more problematic time working with Lennar Mortgage. The loan officer we were assigned, Javier, is even slower in responding and is entirely unprofessional. He would not respond to emails. Instead, he would call at inopportune times (e.g., 8 or 9 PM), not leave a voicemail, and send a text just saying "call me" with no context. Whenever we were able to connect on the call, he provided conflicting information between conversations. Hence, my husband and I stopped answering his calls and texts, demanding all correspondence be written via email. He ignored the request for written communications for quite a while. He continued to call, leave no voicemail, and text for a callback until I firmly (in bold, underlined, and capital letters so he couldn't miss it) said that communication would only continue if he responded in writing. Other examples of his unprofessionalism - (1) he tried to run our credit without informing us prior. We only found out after he texted us to say it was a failed attempt because we keep our credit frozen most of the time, (2) pulled our credit multiple times instead of the twice promised - once at the start and once before closing, (3) he would not respond for several weeks at a time (no auto-response) and when he finally did, said that he was sick or out of the office. We wanted to be diligent home buyers and set up a third-party inspector to report on the house. We asked about a (1) pre-drywall inspection and (2) pre-move-in inspection. We learned afterward (by physically visiting the neighborhood) that drywall had already been installed, and instead of notifying us of this fact, they just ignored our inquiry. When it came to scheduling our inspector before move in, we were told that we had to abide by their policy that the inspection must occur "within the five (5) days prior to the New Home Orientation" one day prior to the New Home Orientation, despite multiple email and phone call followups prior. Fortunately, they allowed us to schedule our inspection, but again, this was after so much time spent trying to abide by their policies after contacting them time and time again with no response. The last thing I want to call out, although an annoyance more than anything, is that our closing date was pushed up without notice; we just found out that we were closing when Mike reached out to ask if we would pick up our keys over the weekend. All of our paperwork and correspondence had pointed to the end of May, and we had maybe 72 hours notice before we actually closed. ... More

Stephanie the sales agent was wonderful as was Joe who did my orientation walk-throughs. The lender side of things started off ok but when I started asking questions or responding that there were errors in the paperwork, the friendliness was gone and I was told time and again that "well, these are not the final papers" - not "thank you for pointing that out, these aren't the final papers and I'll make sure X is updated." Or even when the paperwork was sent including a note - "these are not the final papers, just where we are at this moment." I am a meticulous person and when legal documents are sent to me to review - I review them completely and point out issues. To be told that I basically wasted hours of my time reviewing documents which weren't the final product was frustrating. Moving on to the house itself. On the surface, the house is beautiful but when you look more closely you see that it was built to be done as quickly as possible and the heck with the details. The floors are not level anywhere, and I don't mean it slopes to a side because of settling - it hasn't had a chance to do that yet. I'm talking about the fact that every chair in the dining area rocks, floor shelves also do not sit level, and when you walk across the floor there are hollow areas where the flooring compresses down to the slab. When installing blinds, we discovered the window areas weren't square (not same width between top, middle, and bottom), plus one of the windows appeared to not have a complete header as there was only drywall to screw in to and no wood behind it. But the absolute biggest disappointment was the lack of water pressure - it is simply non-existent - from taking a shower to watering the lawn - everything is that much harder because of the lack of pressure. The biggest positive of this home is the community of neighbors, it's just a shame that we don't have a clubhouse to actually gather in, and the pool area leaves a lot to be desired - chaise lounges that are too low for people with knee issues, a very small deck around the pool, and not an umbrella in sight. Lennar used to be much higher quality however now has cut many corners to save even the smallest amount of money. They are now a small step above KB even with their "Everythings Included" slogan. The reason I went through with the purchase was the financing incentives.

The experience was like a roller coaster ride. Other staff are very accommodating and nice. House was okay. Not as good as before with the quality. BUT, their mortgage is a horror

Working with Marco to find the perfect fit for the family came as a blessing and Ryan coming in with the finances of getting us going with the paperwork went as clockwise… great team to work with at the Tavola location

Very grateful to have bought a home from Lennar

Lennar sales person is very nice and helpful, other workers don’t trust , When you buy a house from them before closing need to be very careful check everything if they don’t fix them you have to fix them on your own. Like my gate to backyard from day one we bought the house cannot keep closing have to use a zip tie to zip the gate not very professional job , lay dead grass and blamed you not watering it ,

Multiple issues with no reply. Repeatedly lied about the house and the area. Most homes in my subdivision have serious issues and they are not being addressed

Good experience, just nothing great or bad.

Our construction manager that did our final walk through was very helpful. Cupboards, doors, fixtures are top notch. When I emailed questions, the answers were prompt.

Lot of improvements Lennar can do

There are already few items which required us to use warranty. Also, the mailbox key provided doesn’t work and now we have to wait few days and spend time to get it fixed via usps. The handing over went too quick and wish they spent more time in explaining the systems. Also, why won’t Lennar include Radon mitigation system while building when it’s known that Radon gas is present.

Great experience especially loan officers to closing group.

Overall, we had a great experience with Lennar. We purchased our home in Hayden Canyon as an investment property, so this wasn't our first rodeo in buying a home. When we went to the sales office, Zach Cooper welcomed us. From there until he handed us off to the title company, Zach was truly an authentic sales guy. He worked extremely well with our agent and always made himself available to answer our many questions. He was never pushy as we were looking at several other new construction communities. What sold us on this community was that Zach himself purchased a home there. That speaks volumes when the builder's Agent purchases what he is trying to sell. The Cottage homes are super starter homes and a big bang for the buck. We got more square footage for a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath (2,000 sq ft!) than other similar new construction. Lennar also includes landscaping the side yard and a nice cedar fence as part of the home. What else? What builder ever includes a fridge in the sale?! Well, Lennar did. This may sound odd, but there are local builders that don't even include the knobs on the kitchen/bathroom cabinetry. But Lennar did! Let's talk about the inspection. We hired an independent inspector who had a long report (nothing really major). Travis was only about 5 weeks new to Lennar and he was nothing but kind and helpful. His team fixed everything on the list within one week of closing! They worked their tails off to check things off of our inspection. What I'm critical of is the landscaping. There are so many brown spots and "holes" because the landscaper didn't put the sod in correctly. The side landscaping isn't finished yet, which isn't our property but it abuts to our fence. I don't have any opinion yet of the Care Team, who will take care of items within the year of home purchase. Overall, exceptional experience. The team here in Hayden has been so professional. We even purchased homeowners insurance through Lennar's 3rd party and they jumped over the moon to do it in a short amount of time. They understand what a positive customer experience is and how important it is. I welcome Lennar into North Idaho to bring a solid product on the market. If I could afford it, I'd purchase another one today as our 2nd rental. Good, solid product. ... More

Buyer didn't get a refrigerator with new home. Forced to purchased one Voiding VA advertisement of no money down for home purchases. All homes in neighborhood have same brand, style, color if window shades/blinds but this new home owner wasn't provided at least one. Driveway had a large sinkhole on the side. Indicator that driveway contractor is not properly building the driveways. 2d step of creating a base which is layer of crushed rock or gravel is being bypass. Reason for large sinkhole which now may limit driveway life span...

It was an easy process for the most part. I wasn’t a fan of the key retrieval and closing with funds process.

Great experience with lennar staffs.

So our experience was just fast. We had looked the year before, and had liked the Monroe. I came home from our house in Florida to get our house in ZIONSVILLE ready to list. A week later a buyer showed up at our door and wanted to buy the house, within a week we were under contract. My wife was still in Florida and I had to pick a house without her. Melinda and my Realtor were fantastic in helping. Thank goodness for FaceTime, I was able too walk through the house showing her everything. With in that day we purchased the house. Felt like the issues never got resolved and it was rushed just trying to close us on the house there’s lots of screwed up things that’s should of got fixed and now I have to do warranty work for all of it instead of it just getting done right the first time I don’t roll like that and I find it unacceptable when other people do
