To make sure the house is 100 % done before move in

We chose Lennar because of their reputation. I never owned a Lennar home before. My last few home have been new builds with DR Horton, Ryan and now Lennar. Overall the home is nice, I believe the craftsmanship could be better, drafts around winds and doors, drywall dust everywhere, paint splashes all over the tile and flooring. When you pay $400,000 for a home you expect better, especially a brand new home. The customer service could be better also, when you are in the home buying process everyone is your friend and wants to help, but once you get the keys after closing it's hard to get responses and help. I never received my HOA docs until a week after closing and I thought by law you are suppose to receive them a week before closing to review. So things like that, I didn't like. Lennar has been in the business for many years so amateur mistakes like that should never happen. If you are going to buy a Lennar home, keep notes and stay on them to get answers and results, especially HOA related issues and documents. I think they are getting to big for their britches and the customer service has paid the price! ... More

The house look good but the problem is about the garantie for one year but there’s a something I need they come for review on my garage on the rolls is very important thing for me ok

Our overall experience with Lennar has been good. We are very disappointed in their choice of materials for the faux stone on the exterior which didn’t allow application of the stone per architectural drawings. They left a 5” gap at the bottom leaving exposed foundation. We are also disappointed that the vanities they chose in the bathrooms have no drawers. Extremely inconvenient. We closed in October and still have 5 incomplete items from our punch list. Make sure everything is completed before you close.

Overall I had a great buying experience. The issue I had was encountered after move in. My home has no heat because the heater wasn’t working and we went a few days with no heat until I went and purchased heaters for the house.

Love the design. Lennar should Pay more attention to details. Sales office very helpful.

Overall, I am pleased with our new home, but as the months have passed everything cannot be blamed on a house settling. More attention or better materials need to be used on the steps. We have to repair the materials used to seal the sides of the steps. It almost looks like cracked caulking all the way up from level to level. I am not happy about that and it is an eye soar!

There’s no quality control a lot of defect needed to repair after moving in, materials that were use are not consistent with other homes within the community, no feedback from construction manager when questions were ask about the house.

The buying process was smooth. The after we bought it oart has been a joke. No shows for fixes. Things not being completed when they were supposed. Horrible communication.

I absolutely love my home. As the house settle I am starting to see a lot of things that needs to be repaired. When I put a request in for service the customer rep responds in an appropriate time frame but the contractor takes for ever to come out and fix the issue. I have been in my home now for about 45 days and it is a little frustrating to have to constantly reach out to customer service to send someone in to correct the issue. I paid to much money not to have quality workmanship.

The Salesperson that sold us this house and our last home was excellent. GC was great goes out of his way to solve problems, but he shouldn’t have to deal with a lot of these issues as the subcontractors should do a better job. The materials and workmanship leave a lot on the table. I have sheet rock issues, walls have waves in them, ceiling where HVAC Vent is has seem cracking . Finish sanding work is horrible. The home was spray painted and many areas weren’t finish sanded but we’re still painted. Didn’t clean the floors or walls before painting and dirt in paint on finished walls. Some of the door moldings have small chunks out of them. Door sills had over spray with dirt in them. Silicone sealing is messy .Concrete floor under bathroom linoleum has a hump in it. Couldn’t hook up dryer vent as piping wasn’t installed right in wall. As purchasing a Smart home I have a big utility box in my Master bedroom . There are wires in the closet that seem to go no where as they are not hook up. As well as a orange tube hanging in it with nothing in it. Why have a huge utility cabinet for a smart home with nothing hookedup in it but 2 cable wires. Toilets were not siliconed to the floor and wound up with ants coming into house from under both toilets. We love are home and the people associated with the sale process and the GC goes above and beyond. But the materials and workmanship quality in this home are not what we expected. Great floorplan and love the house but materials and subcontractors Lennar uses are mediocre at best,

Dan our sales agent was always on top of everything going on with the build. He was extraordinary ! Our mortgage specialist was beyond informed and intuitive to our needs and fears of taking on a mortgage at retirement age. Mitch our construction manager has address all of our many electrical issues with speed, calm, and knowledge. These three individuals made the most stressful time of our lives a joyful experience

It was a great home buying experience.

I love my new home. The design flow and layout uses every square foot of space optimally which was one on the primary decision drivers for my purchase of a Lennar home.

House foundation is great but paint and indoor materials are cheap.

The buying experience was great. The product needs some improvement. Some of this is your design people's issue; 1. Exterior wall mounted light fixture design is too low. Hit your head when you walk out the door, turn to the driveway. I'm only 6'-0" tall. 2. Tankless water heater (aside from it's questionable functioning) is mounted on the opposite side of the house and father to the front away from where the bathrooms are located... so it takes a long time for hot water to get to the usage point. Finishes: Perhaps the manner in which things are done is the problem,. There is no need for quarter-round floor molding if the flooring is installed before the baseboard. The finish work on the baseboard and quarter-round is wretched. There is pain on the flooring almost through out the house because painting the trim was the last thing that was done. The landscaping at the front of the house is horrible for a number of reasons: plant choice and placement. Rain water does not drain away from the house at the back of the house. The area at the juncture of our neighbor's property in the front has a conglomeration of stuff (street light (which has never worked) transformer, two water meters and a six inch plastic pipe stick out of the ground three feet high) that was never finished once the sod was in. Looks like crap. I fully realize labor is tough to get and due to the massive amount of construction going on in the area getting the trades to take care of these things properly is a tough Job. But ... this house was listed at $248K last June. We bought it at $305 with no upgrades in July. I expected a much better job on the finishes for that amount. ... More

Good job they have done!

MS Brook P. was very helpful and always kept us informed. Buying a home from overseas and have not seen it in person is very scary, but MS. Brook made it very confident and trusting. The quality of the inside work on cabinets, paint , door frames, carpet , could have been better . We had the feeling it was rushed trough ,to meet the deadline . We got the wrong appliances and still have not received the correct ones. Lots of damage on kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The house it self is beautiful and we love it . If the quality of the inside work will improve, definitely a company to go with again. ... More

The overall experience was good. The main main structure and overall detail of the townhouse is great. However the finishing touches extremely sloppy. We felt very rushed to close and it was obvious the workers were rushed as well. The first day of our walk thru was a disaster. It wasn’t even close to being completely and we were supposed to have a walk thru?? Townhome was never thoroughly cleaned liked it should’ve been. One window sill was cut way too short so instead of cutting a new piece they installed it and put a bunch of caulk at each end. The hole for the medicine cabinet for the second bathroom was cut wrong so they just installed the cabinet and left a 1 inch gap at the top. Texture that was sprayed on the walls is dripped on the base floor molding. Tiles around the tub in the second bathroom were not cut smooth. They left jagged edges and covered it with grout. ... The unit is amazing and well built

You'll get home issues even though it's a brand new home and everything has to go through a submitted work order for them to fix the issue.
