Genuinely had a good experience, but the ball was dropped when my walk through punch list was forgotten. Ended up having to move in without issues being addressed like they should have before closing day. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Good environment and good price

Nikki, realtor, was a real pleasure. Honest, responsive, accommodating, efficient. Mortgage process was cumbersome via digital process due to short time frame. Every day forms to sign, address, items to gather - all under "urgent" status. This was very frustrating, but Jenna tried to navigate this with grace and patience. Mobile notary was wonderful! John, construction manager, was also very helpful. Timing for "walk throughs" are not geared toward the convenience of the buyer. It is clearly accommodating the builder/subcontractors. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of our new home. Lennar is priced very well compared to all of the other builders in our area. Defects we very few and minor and were corrected very quickly. We feel that the follow up and attention to details after the sale were lacking. We asked several times about who the trash company was and how to receive postal mail, but never got any answers. We are still having trouble with these issues. They also messed up our New Home Welcome and Closing dates that ended up costing us an extra $2,000 in expenses that we complained about, but were never addressed or resolved. ... More

Very fast to respond to any issues that arise which is a breath of fresh air

This awesome floor plan features a four-car garage, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a two-story great room with additional room in the unfinished basement. There is no more need to say. The only thing that I would want is a lot with an acre or two to put the cherry on top.

Good not great build. Mostly built to code and not above. Builders all over the nation could do a lot better on insulation, structural and fit and finish. Look at code as being the starting point and see how you can do better than code and maintain costs.

Our closing was scheduled and I checked ahead of time to make sure all financial issues would be eliminated. We arrived at the "Welcome Center" at our location as instructed. 10 minutes before the time I receive an email saying that the closing would be 30 minutes away. Upon arrival, there was NO paperwork and more money was required to close. Closing took several hours and was completely inept.

Buying a new build was really scary even though we have gone the home buying process before. The representative in the office was very friendly and helpful. Communications was a little delayed but we had questions answered anyway. Loan officer definitely needs to work on their communication. It would take days to get answer and there were times when she didn’t even answer some simple questions which was a little frustrating. There were alot of models to look at and seemed well built. We would recommend to work with Lennar compared to other builders.

I bought my house remotely. So from a distance I found the buying experience frustrating because communication with several different people was not as smooth as I expected. I bought cash which should had made the process easier. I had to many times remind people the I was buying cash.

My home buying was stressful but in the email end it was worth it

Overall, it's worth for the money. But I feel they could have provided a bit more quality items for the same price. As an example, in guest bathrooms, they are proving small tiles, very labor intensive, and needs more cleaning by homeowners on a weekly basis. Instead, they could have provided either big tiles/less labor or even the new cheap big vinyl sheets. No basic fixtures like toilet paper holders in bathrooms.

My Lennar home is beautiful. The Lennar staff have all been extremely kind, helpful, and prompt with addressing our needs. We do have a little disappointment with some issues found by an inspector that we hired, especially with the HVAC system. However, Lennar seems to be eager to correct the issues with the home.

Lennarvloan reps are easy going and people centered. Step by step instructions and very patient from reps FC and JH. WALK THROUGH COULD OF BEEN BETTER. THE THINGS I ASKED TO GET FIXED NOT ALL WERE DONE.

As a first time homebuyer I must say the process was very smooth. My loan processor was amazing!!!!! She made the experience heavenly. She stayed in contact while my home was in construction and even after to say congratulations. The targeted closing date was pretty much on target from loan origination and delayed by 2 weeks. That is pretty phenomenal. I’m happy with the home. Only item I wasn’t totally happy about was the video rendering showcased a beautiful staircase with a banister. The finished home has a wall built. Do not be afraid to ask questions---make a checklist and work closely with builder, and real estate agent when possible.

I was in a hurry to get into my new house and everyone at Lennar made the impossible possible- found my house and closed within two weeks thanks to all the incredible people at Lennar.. and there’s a lot of them!

I read a lot of reviews online about the horrors some people experienced with Lennar so I was a little concerned when purchasing my home in Carnes Crossroads in SC as they were the only builder. The whole mortgage process was very smooth and easy and we were informed and communicated with often. The build was also completed to our satisfaction with few items needing attention which were resolved quickly. Overall it was a good experience.

We have had so many great responses to all our questions and concerns, which we really appreciate, with the only exception being an issue to a landscaping problem which we feel is not being addressed..hopefully this will get resolved as we will not give up!

I would do it again!

Overall we were happy with Lennar's homebuild and process. Our pre-drywall inspection according to our 3rd party was "well above average" - meaning it was done fairly well and only maintained a few critical issues. Getting these resolved required some follow-up but our construction managers were communicative and helpful to get the job done. Slight delays outside of Lennar's control caused rushing toward the end but no key items remained unresolved by closing. Again, I would recommend walking the site and staying on top of every step of the build. Some finishes could be nicer for the cost, specifically the builder-grade closet racks, mirrors, and cheap paint/unfinished garage. Would also love to see Lennar include more things in new-build purchases like towel racks/toilet paper holders; really simple and functional things are not included. ... More

The sales agent was very good; professional as well as friendly. The welcome team is excellent. The whole process was fast and efficient except for the loan application experience which was very frustrating.

Pros: The house is beautiful, in a wonderful neighborhood. We love the layout and luxurious features. We enjoyed exploring the various floor plans prior to deciding on a homesite and found the website helpful. Our construction manager and new home celebration person were wonderful. They answered a million questions and made us feel comfortable and confident in our new home. Cons: The prices were always shifting. Prices on the website increased frequently, with no public record of the change. It was difficult to plan, financially. Sales people did not always have correct information. We asked specifically about build and completion dates for a handful of homes, and the information provided turned out to be incorrect. When ready to decide on a homesite, we were provided incorrect information about the interior and exterior colors and finishes. The error was not caught until after we had made an offer on a homesite. After purchase, we were assigned a “concierge.” She was supremely unhelpful. She did not provide any helpful information about when our address would be properly mapped and did not volunteer any information about what services/deliveries would or would not be impacted by the delayed mapping. She got multiple dates incorrect, and we were constantly having to reach out to her to correct inaccurate communication. My final “con” is that the construction workers treat the neighborhood as solely a jobsite, rather than a neighborhood. Every day I see them driving past my house at high speeds, far greater than is appropriate on a quiet street where small children play. ... More
