I hope that communication will be better than that for my next purchase

Buying a home is very stressful and there was a delay in closing but all through the proceess there was good communication about what was going on. The sales team and the builder team were responsive and helpful. To date any of the issues we have had after the sale have been addressed promptly.

The lottery system for initial purchase was intimidating and caused us to hesitate to make an offer to purchase for the first couple of phase releases in the Lilac community at the Junipers. Fortunately for us, the model we were interested in fell out of escrow and was offered for public sale and we were able to make an offer without going though the lottery. Overall we were happy with the closing process and Lennar Title/ Escrow and Lennar’s responsiveness to final inspection issues. The post sale concierge has been responsive to issues raised and promptly arraigned for correction of identified issues. Our move from the South Bay Area of Los Angeles County was somewhat traumatic because we were leaving a home we had lived in since mid 1977, or almost 47 years. Obviously we had accumulated and saved decades of personal belongings. That alone contributed to much of our discomfort. The Lennar team responded to our move experience and tribulations with care and understanding, but sometimes coping with requirements for passwords and access to many security-related document requirements created further complications and frustrations. We are in our mid 80’s and unaccustomed to much of the current security-related requirements that require numerous methods for identification and security. Nonetheless, Lennar leads the pack for using modern updated online documentation, These new methods and their use by the Lennar mortgage and sales teams created much friction. Now all of that is over and in the past so we can now concentrate on adjusting to our great new residence and accomplish a pleasant settlement into our new home residence in Santa Clarita, CA. ... Lovely home, great location. The only suggestion would be to have the home completely finished before closing

My experience with Lennar went smooth. At your walk through look closely at everything, turn the water on, look at the glass windows on garage door and even check out the air conditioner. The quality of this home is good but I would change some of the design for instance in master bedroom I would put toilet closer to the bedroom.

We love our place! Had a few bumps along the way but overall enjoy the care and attention when addressing post closing issues.

Overall, my experience with Lennar was positive. I met some wonderful people throughout my house-buying journey. However, things took a turn about a month into the five-month process with my New Home Consultant, Steve R.. From the beginning, my realtor and I sensed that Steve was relatively new to the Lennar team, but we were patient and understanding. Unfortunately, communicating with him was challenging. He seemed to take every question personally, making the process frustrating. Over the course of five months, I received only two updates from him. If I hadn’t taken it upon myself to drive by and take progress pictures outside, I would have had no record of this significant milestone, which is disheartening. Even at the end, Steve didn’t attend my home inspection, despite scheduling it himself, he stated he was overbooked but even that information came after I reached out to him. I couldn’t even get a courtesy text to let us know he could make it. Here we are a month and a half after closing and I haven’t received so much as a check-in(not even the day of closing to see if everything went well). His lack of professionalism was disappointing. On a brighter note, I am grateful for Oscar, who stepped in when Steve couldn't. Dimitrios with Lennar Mortgage ensured the mortgage process went smoothly. Daren, my Customer Care Consultant, was extremely knowledgeable and explained all my home's features and warranties in great detail, showing his passion for his job. Michele, my Construction Manager, was amazing and sweet. She promptly addressed every issue noted during my third-party inspection and New Home Orientation, and even checked in the next day. I also met Vanessa, another Construction Manager, who took the time to welcome me and offer help despite not being involved with my home. The construction Area Manager was also kind and attentive, ensuring his team treated us well. Additionally, Leah from the Sales office was very helpful during the remote closing, providing crucial information when Steve did not. Since I moved it I’ve had to put in a few warranty requests and they were all addressed timely. If Steve had been my only representation of the company and community I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to anyone. Remote closing was also a bit hectic but overall we got it done. However, the other individuals mentioned made my experience worthwhile.. I am thankful for those who improved my process after a rocky start and my home is beautiful. ... More

The LENNAR homebuyers experience was overall very good. The quality of materials used and responsiveness has been excellent. Our concern was an unexpected delay in the closing date and the lack of notification of the scheduling for the celebration tour of the home. A person in training accompanied us on the tour and we were not notified who would be meeting with in advance. Als a suggestion, it would be helpful to have the names and number of technicians/staff expected at your home prior to the repair. The interactions I had with Lennar were professional and responsive. The house is very well built; however, the finishes are low quality. My biggest disappointment is the swap I have in my backyard. During the final walkthrough, it was mentioned, and I signed off on the fix; however, after almost two months, I have standing water. I don't know if this issue is caused by a pond behind my house or if there is something else causing it. I understand the excessive rain, but even with the recent warmer weather, I still have standing water.

The house is built very well overall. However, the completion was rushed and the walk throughs were a set time without asking us our needs. The Forman, Cass was great but the burden to complete the 7-page punch list was all his and he was beardly able completed most of it before the closing the same day. The Title company was great to work with and flexible to our needs. We have built four other homes in our history that in included two with U.S. Homes one Rutenberg and one DR. Horton. The quality of the inside of our new house is about a 4 about out of 5 and the same as Rutenberg. A few problems of poor workmanship and poor-quality show that was very disappointing. A few doors inside the house were hung like a 6th grader did the work. Some of the floor tiles were chipped and the grout in the on-suite shower mistake (chair on wrong side) repair was low quality and slopy work. The air unit was not balanced and the was causing us to have high humidity. The warranty person Jeff (great person) from the air company is working on the problem, Why the closet door for the inside air unit is not a louvered door is a poor design mistake that I have not seen in 40 years of new home builds. The landscaping is overdone and we cannot get out of our cars parked on the driveway without stepping on a plant, Although the grass is growing in now and look very good in the front, the amount of dead grass squares left by the people did the work is a just case pure laziness. If the square is dead when installing it, put a live/green one down in its place. Would I recommend a Lennar home to other, YES, but common scene would say slow down the process a little. Do not put the burden on the costumer / your client by saying "Oh just put in a work order and it will get fixed after you close". That is the perception that is given to the new homeowners. ... First of all, the floor plans are generally great. Spacious and open. The biggest issue that I have is that there are no drawers in the bathroom sink cabinets and there is no linen closet. I didn't think about it until I moved in and found no place to put that stuff

This is not directly related with Lennar but the HOA has some rules which seem too strict. Also, so many things are done through a portal and sometimes there's no person to consult with, or it's not clear who you're supposed to talk with about certain issues. On the whole, though, Lennar has been very good, so far.

Jeff and Yumiko were absolutely amazing. Our remote closing was a breeze. Marie lacked communication with us during underwriting and came off as rude in multiple emails with how things were worded. We were excited to take a photo with the congratulations sign on the garage but it was taken down before we got half way done with our final walkthrough. While other houses that sold after ours have had the sign up for multiple days. If we were to buy another home through Lennar we would gladly do so again.

As a first time homebuyer, my experience with staff was very satisfying. I feel I received a great value and would recommend it to anyone to shop with Lenar homebuilders. My only issue was I expected to close on June or July 2024 but the house was completed sooner and I was forced to close February 28 of 24. Vivian, my g Guide was very helpful and gave me attention at my calling. It is a pleasant experience to have someone be so attentive.

Being a first time homebuyer I didn't know what to expect. The process felt overwhelming, but was well guided buy the agents, If I had to purchase another home, I wouldn't go the conventional route. I recommend this process with a brand new home. We went from first seeing the house to moving in in just over 40 days. Could have been even faster if we weren't just being curious at first.

I had very good experience, ended up buying two new house from Lennar and yes the process was little hectic but at the end of the day, good two solid houses with good quality workmanship and quality

Refused to retest or fix my radon issue. My home reads 5-6 in finished basement.

We are first time home buyers and absolutely love this house by Lennar. You can tell they took time to think about the design and used high quality materials, our independent inspector was impressed. Since moving in, they have been quick to respond to any warranty issues. Cons- There was some disorganization during the escrow period but I am sure that is the case during most closings. Overall, we choose this company again

Great location, amenities, customer service and small community. Very fortunate to have purchased in Rockport Ranch
