Overall total experience went very well. Quality of home appears to be very good. Any issues that I’ve had has been dealt with promptly and done correctly. Also, sales staff were pleasant to work with and helpful.

Did not care for one of the Lennar Mortgage folks. Rick was very abrupt every time I had to speak with him. Always trying to talk past me and really did not listen to what I had to say. He tried making me get a loan for $10,000 more than what I needed. The only reason I stayed with them was because the rate they offered compared to other lenders.

Major complaint was in the lawn. Sod was placed haphazardly. Very uneven and hazardous to walk on. High spots and low spots can cause ankle twists and tripping.

I had a pleasant experience with my construction manager and my warranty tech that met me on site and explained everything to me. They both wonderful and only because of them, would I rate this super high. The absolute worst part of this experience was my Lennar Sales Rep. Martha didn't really explain anything I had asked her to. She just gave me the basic information and showed me the house. Thankfully, when I went to a different Lennar Sales Rep (Princeton Lennar was amazing!) the week before that explained everything very well and took care of me. I just wasn't approved for the house with them, so they referred me to the Crandall area. Back to the Crandall Lennar Sales Rep. The Rep avoided many questions both me and my real estate agent would ask. I had texted her a few times to get answers to some basic questions, then she would just call me instead while I was occupied elsewhere. The calls weren't super helpful, I had an issue where my home keys didn't have the tag of where my mailbox was, and my sales rep called me just to complain and mention "oh you should have the tag in there that tells you where your mailbox is" after multiple times I told her, nothing was in the envelope. I informed her I still had the envelope and all it's contents still in there, but she called me 3x times to tell me "it should be in there". All 3x I answered her call, that's all she would say and never actually got me an answer. I ended up walking around the neighborhood for about 2 hours trying every mailbox I could. Just an overall terrible experience with the sales rep. But everyone else was amazing! Construction manager was fantastic and super receptive. He personally showed up on my key day and verified they fixed the counter top for me. Warranty tech was well spoken and super knowledgeable. Home buying process with Lennar lender was not smooth lots of back and forth. Quality of home is just ok. Considering the amount of HOA fees I would expect some community amenities but there are none.

I believe the walkthroughs are more for show than making all corrections. The major items were handled but the "minor" items that are more cosmetic are really not addressed.

Overall I have been pleased with my purchase. The couple of issues I’ve had since moving in were resolved quickly. Well all except the issue with the construction workers loud music on a daily basis. Other than that I’m very pleased with my new home.

Sales representative was excellent in communicating each step of the way in the building of the home including weekly video or photo updates. Settlement through Lennie Mortgage was effortless. Although overall the home is solidly built, the dishwasher and range are builder’s grade as is the carpeting requiring immediate replacement. Sheet rock for walls appears to be lower quality than usual. Ceiling puck lights in bathrooms provide poor illumination of vanity in lieu of lighting immediately above mirrors as shown in model homes. Considering the cost of these homes a few upgrades would have earned the builder a 5-star rating in my book. ... More

Lennar just wants to sell you the home and after closing if you discover something was missing or damaged like a scratched mirror or stained countertop and you didn't discover it during the walkthrough, they'll tell you it's not covered under warranty even though they tell you a million times before closing that don't worry you have a one year warranty! Apparently the warranty is worthless.

Very hard a times to get responses to our questions. Being in central time zone we would get information so late in day we couldn’t get things sorted out before people were gone. Not knowing whom to contact at times it seemed like we were directed to a lot of different people that we hadn’t really talked to. Easier to deal with 1-2 individuals for us.

Buying sight unseen is scary enough yet we were pleased with the overall outcome. Disappointed that we could not make changes AT ALL. Changes that would have not cost the builder extra but will now be extra for us. Our 2nd Sr Loan Processor was very difficult to deal with.. She almost broke the deal for us… Communication was difficult… I have sent emails after move in, no response!!!

We moved after 6 weeks of closing date and we still do not have a contact person and customer service to resolve the pending issues.. We like the house and the place but we have not had personalized assistance.

Poor quality of the general construction material of the house and the trees are installed too close to the structure of the house, causing the concrete to break in future years and also the concrete they use is very poor quality than the entrance floor of the house, garage breaks down in the first days of living in the house and also the HOA is very expensive $ 90 a month, they offer absolutely nothing.We do not have swimming pools or a place to exercise to justify such an expensive payment.

Pay attention to the brickwork and shower tile work...... they will use defective material and patch them up in a very amateur way.... When you reach out about the issue they will say that is the pattern of the brick. When you don't fall for that they will ignore you and never respond again.

Only issue was advised solar was included In payment. It is not. Our construction manager is very responsive very happy

I bought a small beautiful house. I look other houses in different fantastic designs. I recommend Lennar homes to my friends.

Not customer service at all in any department. The materials and accessories that they used are the cheapest . I saw the blinds that they put in a $750.000 house at Walmart for $15.00 . Chrome fixtures the cheapest. We knew what we were buying but we didn’t realize how bad it was.

Easy, transparent, fast, and reassuring.

Lennar homes is not 100% perfect, but it is great value for price paid. Even tough there are still areas that could be improved, our home buying experience is a solid 4 stars overall! Thank you, Lennar!

First and foremost, I like my Lennar house. I liked the interest rate and the FHA down payment. As for Lennar, I have little respect for them as a company. They offered me an in person closing, then denied me one. They promised a small amount of touch up paint, then denied me one. Lennar homes are build with the cheapest materials available, by the cheapest labor possible, and with no evident skill or pride in the finished product. Lennar builds homes as a vehicle to get money from all aspects of the process. Lennar Mortgage, Lennar Title, Lennar Insurance, etc. Then they sell your mortgage in the first month. But they aren't done. They write in the contract that every time the house sells for the next 99 years, they get a $3,000 builders fee. If you disagree with any of the stipulations they add, you don't get the house. And you won't know about many if you don't read everything. Lennar developments have HOAs, but they are not what you are thinking. Lennar HOAs are run by Lennar folk and investors until 100% of the homes are sold. Some in Austin are over 13 years old and still run by Lennar. If you wanted to be involved, even just to watch, they will let you once meeting a year. The rest of the time, we have no say, no clubhouse, no pool. But they take out HOA dues and spend it with no accountability to the homeowners. Deep breath. I am happy enough with my cheaply made home. I have the tools and skills to fix what they deny to fix. Overall, I have great neighbors and have made many new friends. There were good and bad the walk through wasn’t a walk through so there are problems I am finding but lennar is quick to help. When I moved in I had a BIG moving truck I couldn’t pull in the drive way so I parked on the side of the street as my vehicle was on the side of the stree and my sister parked in the drive of the show house as to not block the street it was a Sunday. Some “bald” lady showed up out of nowhere talking to our children about parking in the drive of the show house instead of coming to the adult and just kept staring not being there over night as she saw the EXTRA large moving truck but still chose to harass us and our children I did not appreciate that because it was a Sunday and it was only because of the color of our skin. No apology was given only a repetition of not being parked there after dark. Other than that LENNAR has been wonderful. I would recommend 10 times over… ... More

I’ve noticed some of the door panels and sinks are chipped and our bathtub was clogged but Lennar fixed the bathtub

I hold Lennar in high esteem. They provide top quality work and I believe truly have their clients best interests in mind. Quality and trust are two critical words to me and Lennar passes my test. As a new Lennar homeowner in Skye Meadows I am very happy. Lennar you have met & actually exceeded my expectations.

We are pretty pleased with the home we purchased. The responsiveness of the Lennar people has been terrific. My complaint is with the mail delivery. We will have to receive our mail, once the delivery actually begins, from a combined mail cluster a considerable distance from our home. Currently we drive several miles to a post office to collect our mail and this is supposed to change sometime in the future when mail will begin to be delivered to out section of the neighborhood. Other than the mail kerfuffle the overall experience ce has been pretty s.ooth.
