Overall great value for the price. Disappointed that we were forced to sign a contract were I am out $25,000 until the lawn is complete. The builders and work done on the house is excellent. Overall everything works as expected. Master bedroom door doesn’t close and a couple of popped nails that I expect to be fixed during warranty. Seems like minor issues for considering the detail and quality of the builder. The general contractor took exceptional care in quality during the build leaving very little to correct later.

Buying our second home with the help of Martha and John was a great experience. From the first day we met Martha she always seemed to have our best interest at heart. She is a great person to work with. The underwriters were the only thing that made this transaction feel overwhelming. Other than that, John who was our HLA was a great point of contact and we are very grateful to have been able to work together. Thank you all so much!

The Lernnar staff from sales to mortgage are great, very helpful and quick response. The insurance team response could be better. The star is Danielle from the walk through and explanation of warranty to follow up after move in. The quality of the workmanship is not what I expected from Lernnar, it definitely needs improvement.

Having all the appliances in place upon moving in was nice, and tankless water heater was a bonus since it is installed next to the kitchen on the first floor. Having two separate thermostat between each floor is a nice feature as well. But what was not included were the shower door and bathroom accessories. Also lack of storage space were the negatives. I'd have preferred to pay more with these items included.

Ronnie, the realtor, Ernie, the Lender, Tammy in escrow…All Amazing, knowledgeable, helpful, trustworthy, great customer service skills and kind. The entire Lennar team performed and executed the process of buying and closing on our home stupendous and efficiently. Thank you again Lennar!

Needed to find a wonderful place in about a month after selling home and downsizing. Lennar sales representatives and loan officer worked fast and diligently to meets our needs, which includes closing costs assistance and a below market fixed interest rate in a new subdivision.

We suggest Lennar revise their marketing information. Lennar says everything is included, they definitely do not include everything not even a fridge. The builder also should hire experienced subs so that they will fix the problem once and be done with it vs. having them come over and over and over again and the last sub we had made the problem even worse than the prior sub.

Lennar builds a beautiful home. We’ve only been in our home two months. We are very satisfied with the quality and workmanship The mortgage side was very helpful and made the process we easy. Overall we had a very good experience

Warranty service is very prompt and helpful. Happy with the new home. Finance- Due to back surgery, I have moved from a bigger two-story home to one story new home within which is 10 mins away. Lennar Finance gave me real hard time at the last moment assuming that I would be using this property as investment property NOT as my primary resident. I explained my motivation to go to a downsized home in the same area only to avoid climbing stairs due to my back surgery. They asked me too many evidences to establish the fact at the last moment, it put me on stress. They need to improve this process, could have asked me at the beginning. ... More

Overall we love our home. We got it for a good price. The neighborhood is great! The only complaints we have are typical for new builds. Because they are building so many and fast, they cut on cost with materials. The carpet and padding is on the lower end. The counters, while beautiful, are cheaper and stain easy. They pick lower quality wall paint so it marks up easy. Will have to replace carpet and paint in the near future.

Lennar made first time home buying a miserable experience. Poor communication from every aspect possible. Very unprofessional. We will never buy another house with Lennar again.

Pretty bad experience in terms of communication, I tried to call so many times but no answer, even email communication is very bad. I still have issues with home insurance because I changed A to B. but I still pay A rate, and nobody does nothing to fix and calling or emailing is nearly impossible to speak with right pesons....

The whole process went great. The sales consultant was very knowledgeable and our finance contact Natasha was awesome!

Overall, the Lennar home includes several nice upgrades, but they will NOT add a thing, even if you are willing to pay for it. This is very frustrating. Secondly - and buyer beware on this - warranty service has been a nightmare. There is very little follow up once a warranty ticket has been initiated. The reps do not respond to e-mails or voice mails. Vendor appointments are missed completely with no warning or explanation. Other times, vendors arrive only to advise that the wrong part has been ordered, or that they are not authorized to make the repair corrected. Thirdly, on more than one occasion, I have been told that my issue is "a design item, not a warranty item" even though the "design" has resulted in mis-placed plumbing or lighting fixtures, or, in the case of the bathrooms, lighting that is not present at all due to a decision to eliminate vanity lighting in the homes. (How fun to try to shave at a dimly lit sink all the while getting soaked because the faucet oversprays.) All and all, buying a Lennar home is ok, as long as you have another $5-10,000 in your pocket to add lighting, replace faucets, etc. But if you truly want your home to be complete when you buy it, keep looking. ... The whole process took Les than two weeks and service before , during and after closing was professional and beyond my expectations.

The subdivision has been left a mess with uncompleted sidewalk, poor workmanship, incomplete drainage facilities, incomplete common areas, construction debris and trash everywhere.

We purchased our home in November and closed on our home in late February. We were promised weekly construction updates and concierge service. This never happened. Communication from Lennar throughout the process was horrible. Except of course from the lending side of their business. Quality of work appliances and fixtures is bargain basement. Plastic! Seriously, plastic fixtures. Plastic in the dishwasher, plastic garbage disposal. On the surface items appear to be quality. But the design and engineering team has taken every opportunity to cut costs and trim any quality features. Multiple plumbing issues, poor quality paint, carpet etc. For this price point, there should be quality fixtures, appliances, and flooring. Shame on you Lennar. ... More

I can see cracks already within a month. Cheap materials. How was not cleaned properly when I moved in.

Make sure when you do your last walk thru, everything is repaired

I saw a billboard for Lennar Homes while searching for a home. Went online to submit a request to pre-qualify on 1/9. Closed on my home on 2/16. The entire experience was seamless and the staff were very committed and supportive. My community is safe, my neighbors are great! My new home is just right for me and I truly am grateful and thankful for Lennar!

The main issues were that they should completely test units before turning them over to the homeowner. Our dishwasher was not plugged in we thought it was broken. Also our AC unit was overcharged with freon we had to call the manufacture to come out to tell us it was overcharged and they fixed it.

Quality of the workmanship for the sheet rock was horrible, we had to pay out of pocket to correct some of the walls and even after that the ceiling has very bad crease's where they should have floated the sheet rock. Final walk through was somewhat helpless and those issues weren’t fix as well.

Really nice community. The houses are well built, tastefully designed and constructed. Very helpful and responsive staff. Staff is extremely nice! Really happy with every single one of them!

AVOID. I would strongly discourage anyone from considering this company for a home purchase - our initial experience with them was absolutely terrible. My husband and I were full of excitement about buying our first home, especially with a baby on the way, and the prospect of living near our friends. Unfortunately, dealing with them turned our dream into a nightmare. Right from the beginning, their responsiveness was abysmal - either taking forever to reply or not responding at all. Despite seeing other homes with the same floorplan but with far superior amenities, we were told that our home lacked those features due to supply issues, as our street was among the last ones they were constructing, or just plans changed. This meant we ended up with subpar accommodations. Adding to our frustrations, they installed some of the light switches in crazy places that don't make sense, and the attic is practically inaccessible due to the HVAC unit and duct work being installed in the storage area, much different form the other houses we have seen with the same floor plan. The weeks leading up to the closing were the worst. Communication within the company was nonexistent, and they frequently misplaced our documents, only to demand them urgently at inconvenient times, like 3p.m. on a Friday. They consistently blamed us for their own shortcomings, despite us providing evidence of our timely responses. This cycle of incompetence and stress dragged on for weeks, far from the smooth home-buying journey we had hoped for. Even when it came to the closing day, they managed to mess up. Despite delaying our closing twice, they still couldn't get their act together. We ended up spending almost five hours in the title office waiting for documents that hadn't been sent over. Other home buyers we spoke to mentioned that their closing processes were swift, contrasting sharply with our ordeal. We had movers waiting, and our moving plans were disrupted due to their incompetence. To top it all off, when we finally received the keys to our new home, they were the wrong ones. We discovered that we were given the wrong home folder as well. It's baffling how such basic errors could occur. Fortunately, the contact details in the folder were incorrect, because we did try to call and let her know they gave us her keys. We eventually got in touch with our sales rep and loan officer. That evening, our sales representative made an effort to assist us, but discovered that the keys were located at their office with no duplicates available. Conversely, our loan officer dismissed the situation with laughter and requested that we visit the office early the next morning to return the packet. However, the whole situation was a testament to the unprofessionalism of this company. Even after moving into our home and concluding our dealings with Lennar, they continue to be a source of stress for us. It appears that they sold our mortgage shortly after the closing without transferring our information and payments to the new loan company. Consequently, my husband had to spend several more hours on the phone to resolve the issue and ensure our home insurance payments were properly processed. In summary, dealing with Lennar was nothing short of a nightmare. ... More
