I love my new home. Everything is great

Jeremy was great to work with. He always responded quickly to my text and emails. Christie was very helpful and did her best to take care of our concerns.

My only issues were the landscaping in the back wasn’t completed. Also all the wiring for a garage door opener was there. Not sure why they just didn’t install it. These two things I don’t understand just adds a few thousand more home owners have to pay out of pocket.

What initially caught my attention with Lennar is the extra details they put into the design of the home. I also enjoyed working with the staff who were very helpful and quick to respond. What I did not like is the quality of the builders work. After closing I walked into a home with dirty windows and dirty floors and paint splatters in multiple places. The outlets on some of our walls were spaced out at different heights. Also, the paint touch-ups were very visible and thankfully Lennar was quick to fix that. Another aspect I did not like is the quality of the grass they planted. Everyone in our neighborhood has a bunch of weeds growing but the grass they planted is still brown in most places and only starting to become green in some places. They planted better grass near the mail box, a common space area, which was green from the beginning. ... More

House construction and layout are perfect, the experience with Lennar answering questions or concerns is beyond expectations. Great service! The seller walked us through all the steps.

House design is great and very practical. It's worth. Also, i am grad that compammy offers 1year warranty.

We moved into our house in March and overall it is great but we immediately had issues with our dishwasher. We also realized that the line from the Lennar sales rep of “we’ll always be there for you” was a bunch of bull. Immediately after signing they essentially wash their hands of any issues or responsibilities

We did not receive any updates until dec 2023 after we signed the property in jul 2023. A proper communication with updates would have helped us understand whats going on.. Also, the biggest blow was when some of the properties in the same community with same sqft were sold for way less price in dec 2023, while our house was not even handed over.. we felt shattered and questioned our decision of booking the house in Jul 2023.. We have also reached out with couple of questions to the agent at the lennar and never received any response after signing the property. Not customer friendly.. We were told that the property would be ready by Feb 2024 and got delayed Mar 2024. During the final walk through not many details were provided by the building manager..When we had showed him couple of areas where rework needs to be done, they were not properly taken care of.. After the tenants moved in they noticed a number of issues- HVAC issue,, bathroom exhaust issue.. and others. It was embarrassing to hear complaints from the tenant as it is a new property. The issues were fixed right away, but it would have been nice if they never existed.. ... More

Lennar team was excellent, from the beginning to the end, it was amazing experience.

My loan officer and real estate agent were knowledgeable and very kind and patient.They were there to answer any questions we’ve had.

The home purchase was the builder closeout of remaining homes for sale, so everything was already picked out and the remaining homes were more like spec home with minimal options added. The process with the builders mortgage dept. was not a smooth process by far. After initial contact with loan officer all seemed to start well, but short lived. There were numerous times from just 2days in to the process & regularly thru-out the process many delays waiting for a call back, unknown where we were in the process, misinformation being sent and then only after attempting to fulfill and prepare documentation for submission being notified to ignore as task to do were incorrectly sent for my submission. This theme of not keeping us up to date & informed lacked good communications with us the buyer. At one point nothing heard for a week and then getting bombarded thru the lender portal used ( IMO the portal lender used is not well planned nor informative ) with documents needed under stress and time restraints the buyer was often left unsure what was accepted or not. The only reason the builders mortgage dept used .. was necessary to get their special finance rate. I could have used my own lender but at higher rate & no match. The bulk of the entire qualifying period & how call backs and communicating if you got a call back returned quickly with the builders mortgage dept was at best bumpy. The overall impression given from the mortgage lender dept, underwriting, processing, loan officer is a dept. not well teamed / geared up working together, & too much redundant request of documentation or more documentation not necessary and /or already submitted. Getting approval for the same VA loan with a different lender would have knowingly been a smoother process Not the best customer relations experience with the builder mortgage dept. ... More

The purchasing process was very easy and went smoothly. All questions were answered and issues were addressed quickly. The home is well constructed. We have a few minor things that need to be addressed which is common with any new builds. The only major issue we have had is our side yard is erroding. We have a slope and wet lands beside us. The water from our gutters washed away the soil and the sand underneath. We now have huge craters in our lawn! We have addressed it through the portal and have had conversations with Lennar as to how to correct the situation. We have put extenders on our drain pipes. They will address it within 30 days. The building crew is very responsive. All in all we are very happy and satisfied with our purchase. ... More

This whole process has been the easiest experience of my life…which is very rare with home buying. From the first look and intro to the realtor (Sarah is an exceptional woman!), to the mortgage process, and everything there after my experience has been above board!! I received what I felt was an amazing deal and with zero haggling…they gave me the best offer upfront! During my new home orientation there was an issue with carpet noted. The timeframe in between closing didn’t allow for it to be fixed..,so, it wasn’t finished on move-in. Communication was above board the whole way though. I submitted the work order once I moved in and with zero fuss, they immediately responded and scheduled the company to come fix it at a time convenient to my schedule. After being in the home for almost 2 months, I have had zero issues with anything. The whole team and their established processes are in order and well above other builders I have seen. Kudos! ... She never communicated with me the buyer. I would have to be the one to call the office to get answers to my questions, even then she would have to find out the answers to my questions and get back to me. She never did call me back until I had to be the one to her call back. Unacceptable. Customer Service team was great!

If you buy a home here, be prepared to spend additional money outside of the purchase price for upgrades. We hired contractors to replace the standard rack pantry shelves with wooden shelving. Also hired a contractor to paint the entire inside to replace the flat paint job with satin paint. Also hired a contractor to replace the standard tub in the guest bath with a soaker tub. The homes are all spec homes so you can't customize anything. The upgrades we added weren't necessary, but we wanted our new home to sparkle. Finally, if you are financing, I advise against using Lennar mortgage. It was a very frustrating experience for us with poor communication, lack of response to questions and a week's delay in the closing. Find another trusted bank or mortgage lender. ... More

We did the walkthrough with the house dirty.(fatal) Paint work terrible, wood trim prep work poor quality. Warranty team is excellent.

Buying my new home with Lennar at Edge of Auburn, Garner has been a great experience overall. I had little difficulties with Lennar mortgage at initial stages, but they were very responsive when closing date was nearby

Nobody answers the calls or messages after their step completes. Their simple response is I dont know.

The home purchase with our loan officer was great. The closing process was very disappointing. We were denied our keys after closing because of a $49.00 last minute fee by the title company. Never do business with Lennar again and will not recommend to my other investors.

For us all the process was very smooth.

During the final walkthrough we pointed out things that had not been corrected in obvious spots. Such as large splotches of gray in the middle of the wall (obvious things). The lady who did our walkthrough said to just sign the final walkthrough docs or Lennar wouldn’t be able to make the corrections. We went to closing and we asked again about the discrepancies and were told after closing they would follow up. No one followed up. We tried reaching out and our calls went unanswered. We had to remove multiple orange tapes and granted we understand the hard to spot ones. But in the middle of the wall in one of our bedrooms with the same sploch of gray is ridiculous… Unfortunately cannot recommend Lennar go any of our friends due to the (sign this or we can’t take care of it). Very poor quality. They show you a model home, then drop the bomb on you, it don't come with this and that, bait and switch. Put cabinets in with NO knobs to open them with. Much much more.
