Not satisfied with home buying experience, had problems with water on the side of house, drainage and no one wants to fix, regret moving here,

Never got my keys day of closing, lock was broken, it didn’t get fixed for weeks and keys never sent to me like I was told. I had to drive 2 hours to pick them up. Leaks in the house after day 3. No one likes to help, I had to call a lot of numbers to finally get a response. I had lots that needed to be fixed and it took over a month with lots of contractors coming almost daily. This does not include all the blue stickers that were undone before closing. Lennar is not trustworthy in my opinion and to many of my neighbors as well. There is so much more to say but, I would run out of room to write everything. I would not recommend even Lucifer to buy from Lennar. I am still needing things fixed and there a big lack of communication. Wish my new home buying experience was better. There is no quality in the homes being built which is unfortunate. Maybe Lennar should teach their worker’s communication and customer service skills. ... More

Disappointed in Salesman responses of what we were supposed to get and didn’t. Then he dropped the ball onto a “concierge” who never showed up, supposedly “never leaves his desk”Crappy door locks. Dead sod put down. Broken trim. The fact that I have to put my appliances register myself. The drive in and out of subdivision is nothing but a dirt and debris from construction trucks and very muddy when it rains.

The support services offered by Lennar through myLennar were not available to me and should not have been offered. We do like the unit and have been busy making it our own. However, as we settle in, I find the workmanship less than expected for a $260K home. Materials are not highest quality (patio door is too heavy to open and does not lock), and painting was obviously rushed. Concrete patio is small and interior of garage could easily have been painted before moving in. These simple and relatively inexpensive "touches" would really elevate your finished product.

We have been looking around for new house for more than a year. During that period we had visited many sites with many builders. Finally we landed our decision with Lennar , mainly because of 1) quality 2) price 3) service and overall experience with sales agents, service agents, site supervisor and on time closing!

It is take it or leave it with Lennar. No changes possible. When you ask office staff a question they are wrong most of the time.

Overall, very good experience buying a Lennar home. Frank and Ryan did a good job supporting me. The quality of the home’s interior could be better. I like the all included appliances in it.

Our Lennar sales rep (Joel) was really great throughout the entire process. He showed us various styles of homes and condos that Lennar was building here at Rienda Ranch, so that we could compare them and decide which worked best for us. Lennar's "Everything's Included" policy was also what made us decide to buy a Lennar home instead of from another builder in the area. They included as standard things like soft-close cabinets, high-end GE Profile appliances and roll-out pantry drawers and trash/recycle bin drawers. The Lennar Title/Escrow process was really easy to follow from start to finish through the Lennar track software. Also, as cash buyers, we appreciated that they kept on building several different neighborhoods to completion even during the time period when interest rates were going up; while other builders were limiting construction or even temporarily suspending construction in some neighborhoods due to decreased demand. Lennar truly cares about helping to ease the housing shortage in Southern California; even during those times when they need to provide incentives to buyers to help keep the sales and closing process moving along. ... We worked with Angela at Mills Creek and she was so patient and helpful. She encouraged us just to prequalify and see what we can afford. Well sure enough we qualified for the house we had been looking at, and then came the Mortgage team, who were amazing. The whole process so easy, We had a thorough walk through with Jeff, and EVERYTHING was explained to us clearly. Anything that needed fixing was fixed. I highly recommend Lennar Homes. They are beautiful and lots of upgrades as part of the home.

We are very happy with our Lennar dream home. Everything material used were the best quality. Everything were fixed to our satisfaction immediately. We are so lucky to be a Lennar home owner. We recommend Lennar to every new home buyer.

We bought in a non-home owners association. Think twice about that. Cars, trailers everywhere. Weeds not being taken care of. It’ our mistake but it won’t happen again. Lennar does not control the crime while bldg homes. I think it’s very dangerous here.

I only had an issue with the underwriter. My loan officer was a pure angel as well as my realtor.

Lennar mortgage is the worst! I may NOT purchase Lennar house in the future purely because of the terrible loan officer from Lennar. I have submitted my complaints about my loan officer and nobody has ever contacted me.

The house is not 55 + friendly because of not having the walking- in shower for upstair, or guest bathroom. No landing on staircase. very poor quality of kitchen cabinet kitchen cabinets without roll out trays or drawers which does not make sense for olderly people. Kitchen cabinet doors are not even self-closing. caulking, paint job are very bad quality. sheetrock joints are poorly done and wall are uneven needs resurfacing before painting. no upgrade option or no choice of color of flooring is bad. All appliances are very very poor quality and very noisy not strudy so best option is not to give and offer the credit for that. The unfinished storage area should be given with the flooring and paint. ... More

The builders were absolutely helpful and kind. However, the title company was a different story. I did not like that the title company would not allow me to close in person. I had no access to a computer and was having to sign all these important documents on my small phone. I felt that my loan officer Terry was not helpful. At one point he even hung up the phone on me. When I was done with closing his response to me was, “I hope we didn’t beat you up too bad.” Terry was very aggressive about me wiring $500 over the price for closing just in case of any numbers were off. I still don’t understand how you would not have my final numbers for closing. They mailed a check of the money that I over paid for closing, but never received it in the mail. Then charged me for wiring It to my bank. I requested a survey of the property before closing, which they would not give me until I closed. Just from that experience alone, I will not be purchasing another LENNAR home in the future. ... More

I’m grateful for the financial incentives that allowed me to get a new house. However, I am deeply disappointed in the process of getting the mortgage and the follow up on builder issues is poor. The house itself has some nice features but not built with high quality materials. The double garage is minimal so if you want some storage space you may have to decide not to use it for your cars. It’s barely big enough to fit two cars. The principal bedroom is large and the walk in closet is spacious. There’s no ceiling fans and no medicine cabinet and no towel racks.

It was my first time ever home . I like it so much , the quality of the building is excellent!

I’m very happy with Lennar and there responsiveness to some issues with the house.

Smooth home buying process. Lennar kept up with dates and was on time with all of our paperwork and closing dates and time.

Jordan at Customer Care team has been so amazing and helpful and professional.

We selected Lennar because it was building homes in the area we wanted to live. No other builders really had inventory in our our price range and timeline. What a mistake! Worst experience I've ever had. They were late completing the home. The mortgage division is incompetent. They cost us thousands of dollars due to their mistakes.
