My advice? Check EVERYTHING! more than twice! We had so many issue! and although they are quick to respond, they need to have a someone who goes thru the properties with a fine tooth comb before the buying process begins! Also, if you don’t get your mortgage through Lennar, be prepared to be treated differently, you don’t get anything “extra” from them like fridge freezer/washer/dryer etc! Within a week my house has nail pop, cracks in the walls and don’t get me on the easy to stain flat paint they use. You fall in love with the model they show you and then they decide to tweek little things like 4 led lights in the dining room instead of the one so I can put a chandelier like I thought I could. I thought I was getting a decent size laundry room and the darn room can barely fit my washer and dryer. Not mulch for decor, just cheep pine needles. The house probably costs a little over 100,000 to build and we paid 445,000 for it. Worse thing is, is that they make is so after 30 days you cannot back out of buying the house. So when when you walk into a completely different home than what you thought you purchased, ain’t crap you can do. Rather than review the loan package and request all needed items at once the person handling the loan kept asking for one thing at a time so I would submit the one document they asked, and then the next day they want another and then another I ended up having to stay in a hotel because I sold my prior home and had nowhere to go. I’ve purchased many homes through the years and this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had!!

All that was involved in this process were knowable.

Etta was amazing helped us get pre-approved so quick and was there sending pic of the process the best.

My 2nd Lennar home. What a huge (bad) difference in build quality and materials compared to first home. No gutters. No sprinkler system. Side boards are very soft, dry wall very soft. Paint is very bright white. Counter top is nice but very cheap because it stains quickly. Bathroom faucets are the cheapest on the market, same goes for the sink. Had electrical issue first week, service request put me on a viral call (the construction manager assisted with the issue, it was a wiring issue). Had a mouse get in the garage the first week because they left a open space under the water heater. Several insects are in the bathroom every morning (clearly something is not fully closed off...). Chalk used in bathroom is the cheapest, it's already turning color. Floor gets stained easily and stains don't come out...I could go and on about the cheap built of the house... ... More

Homebuying experience was good. No major issues.

We are enjoying our new home, the sale process was smooth, the home design and build quality js great so far.

The realtor was spectacular, the area and architecture beautiful. good after-sales service, the only problem was with the electricity outlets that we had to complain about for the tower washer and dryer.

I had a very good experience with Lennar specifically Mariangel.. she helps me with everything I need. Thank you. The house is amazing.

Our home buying experience with Lennar was great. Did not have to wait long, was approved almost right away. Only small downside is that we were not able to choose our closing date (moving fr a diff state while still in the process of transitioning to new job) but all is well and kudos to Lennar for the wonderful job and we love our new home.

Lennar professional does not seems very helpful and responsive.

I was pushed to close when the house was not finished and ready for closing just because Lennars only priority is to meet their monthly sales numbers, not client satisfaction, service and quality. There were multiple unfinished things in the house … the punch list at walkthrough had over fifty items that needed to be done or fixed. Then as soon as we closed and Lennar got paid in full there were no responses or support to get things fixed. Multiple emails and visits to the sales center to try to get any attention. It has been 2 months from closing and not all things are done or fixed to satisfaction. Terrible experience and quality in closing. I would reconsider buying from Lennar if I had to do it all over again ... More

Great orientation and move-in experience.

We love our new home. We love the floorplan and the covered deck. The construction supervisor was extremely knowledgeable and made sure the issues found by our home inspector were taken care of before closing. After the closing we found a crack in the tub surround and they promptly had it repaired by a very experienced vendor. The one negative - they should paint the baseboards with semi-gloss instead of flat paint.

I m so excited and happy they have made my experience very enjoyable and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I love just because I purchased they make sure it wasn’t about just a purchase.

They were great though the process went realy fast had to close in 3 weeks

We recently purchased a new Lennar home at BeachWalk in Calabash, NC. The buying experience was very simple since we were cash buyers. Basically we selected our home, put down a deposit and waited for it to be finished so we could get our inspections. It was a very easy process and there was good communication with Lennar and our project manager. We closed and moved in on time and are very happy with our purchase. After 2 months in our home, we are still content and are seeing the homes under construction selling out fast in our neighborhood. More training needed between lennar mort and the sales team. Different options and incentives were originally offered until signing then withdrawn

I love my new home, the layout is great and it's a good fit for me. The community is wonderful, with many planned activities for residents. A special thank you to Dominique P for her continued support, even after the buying process was completed. I think Osborne Trails is a great place to live.
