Lennar was more than helpful finding us a new house after our first choice was pulled off the market. Any issues that we have had have been handled in a very timely manner and by very professional individuals making our home very comfortable.

The home is great just had a lack of good communication during buying process. Times we did get communication it was 3 different people telling me different things.

Home buying with lennar was amazing...me and my husband would highly recommend this company...the value of the house is pretty reasonable especially for people that just first time buying their home...two thumbs up with this company...

Overall we have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Lennar. Our home has had only very minor issues after close and the home looks to have been built properly. Lennar has been quick to get issues resolved and we hope going forward that remains so.

First of all i would like to acknowledge Kevin he helped us very well i have no issues with him at all even after home buying he still assist me. The only problem is Drake. We have noticed issues in the home already and he was there acknowledging everything but it seems like he agrees when we are around and disregard everything once we are done. I feel like he only wants me to sign the docusign so he can be off the hook. To be honest i have requested service for the things that we have already raised to him. Promised me that he will fix it but nah he didnt and when i try to reach out to him nothing. To be honest the walkthrough with him is’nt really informative im still trying to figure things out myself but thats okay. My main concern is he does not honor his word. He keeps pushing me to sign the docusign i even asked him to make sure to fix it and still nada. Home buying with lennar is good but make sure you dont sign anything on the walkthrough or else youll end up waiting for a guy to come and fix it while you are moving in. Our homebuying experience with Lennar started off with excitement and hope, but unfortunately, that enthusiasm was slowly replaced by ongoing stress and frustration—primarily due to poor communication, especially from the mortgage department. The early stages of the process were smooth enough, and the home itself is beautiful and well laid out. We do feel that the overall value and quality of the house is solid. We’re happy to have a place to call home. However, the path to move-in was not what we had hoped it would be. The biggest issue we faced was a serious lack of communication and follow-through across multiple teams. We often felt left in the dark about what was happening or what we needed to prepare for next. This lack of transparency caused a great deal of physical and emotional stress, especially as we neared closing. Timelines were unclear, questions went unanswered, and at times we felt more like we were managing the process than being guided through it. One example was the backyard. Early on, we were told that landscaping could be rolled into the mortgage. But the process was never brought up again, and by the time we asked about it later, it was too late. Now we're left figuring it out ourselves, with only 90 days post-closing to add basic coverage—like rock—to meet requirements. It’s just one of many things we wish had been communicated more clearly. To be fair, there were team members who tried their best to help us, and we appreciate those efforts. But the overall coordination between departments and the responsiveness just didn’t meet our expectations. For future buyers, I would recommend going into the process with eyes wide open. Be prepared to advocate for yourself constantly, take detailed notes, and follow up often. While Lennar builds lovely homes, the customer service and communication left us feeling overwhelmed and unsupported during what should have been a joyful milestone. ... More

Your employees are great both responsive and knowledgable as well as friendly. Having your own insurance and title company saved us money. Two things to consider since this is the 4th new build Phoenix home we have had (as well as three others out of state). 1. Allow more flexability on your 3/4 built homes. For example, in addition to other small things, we wanted tile instead of carpet in the flex area. This was denied even though it was 3 weeks away from the flooring to be laid. We are now paying to have the brand new carpet removed. 2. Ask new homeowners for minor suggestions. For example, in our community you are essentially building for 2 person occupancy. Yet the bathrooms have a hangar for one shower bath towel. Not many people share these items with each other. ... More

Finance process was very frustrating

Buying with Lennar was a pretty easy process. The separation of Lennar companies was a bit difficult to navigate I.e. Lennar construction, Lennar mortgage, and Lennar sales.

My overall experience was pretty good. My sales consultant Debbie Huntley and finance Michael Vera made the experience the best. However, the pushiness of the house walkthrough consultant was not appreciated as there were a few last minute things needed on the property before closing. Seemed more of a push to close than making sure the client was comfortable with the process.

Great builders , easy to work with awesome attitude!

House is great, dealing with their mortgage people was not enjoyable. You can buy better homes, better quality, but the closest thing that Del Webb had to offer was way more than 100k higher in price. I have no regrets, this is my 2nd Lennar home in 6 years.

I'm sure others have covered all the typical pros & cons of the home itself. The one area I find highly frustrating is moving into a new home and it backs to a future phase that has been postponed. That land which many new homeowners view everyday since it's right in their back yard has piles of trash and debris 2 stories or higher. It also has mountains of dirt at least 3 stories high. There's more but I'll digress. My understanding is that it will be a year or more before anything is done with this mess. Lennar needs to address this in Horizon's at Summers Corner even if it's just removing the trash & huge steel containers and then leveling out the dirt. Anything would be an improvement to make this eyesore less painful to us new homeowners. ... More

We had very good experience with both Blake the Project Manager and Caitlin the Warranty Rep for our home. They were very responsive to our requests and followed through to completion.

Average builder but cost effective

Working with Lennar overall was positive. However, you have to understand what you are getting which is a quality spec home at a good price. You get what you get. They mass produce houses and you will have the occasional issue. Also certain things may or may not be included.

I have been pleased with my Lennar home, with minor exceptions—the Refrigerator was an unfortunate choice which I tried unsuccessfully to exchange for what I wanted. I did buy a new one for $1200. The toilet paper holders were practically unusable. I replaced those for less than $100 including labor. The experience with the Mortgage company was unpleasant and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

John our sales representative was excellent to deal with, always answered when called. Joel our lender was also wonderful. The home has some minor issues when we moved in but overall Lennar has been responsive and took care of most issues.Overall love the neighborhood

Very happy with Lennar workmanship and layout. I had no idea how responsive the Lennar Customer Care Group would be with new home problems......nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Three issues were addressed within 36hrs. One corrected by a phone call. Roofing issue 24hrs and fixed, Faulty Wiring troubleshooting 36hrs (not Lennar, but to a new Clothes Dryer issue). My priority became Customer Cares priority and we really appreciate that.

Genuinely had a good experience, but the ball was dropped when my walk through punch list was forgotten. Ended up having to move in without issues being addressed like they should have before closing day. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Buying a new build was really scary even though we have gone the home buying process before. The representative in the office was very friendly and helpful. Communications was a little delayed but we had questions answered anyway. Loan officer definitely needs to work on their communication. It would take days to get answer and there were times when she didn’t even answer some simple questions which was a little frustrating. There were alot of models to look at and seemed well built. We would recommend to work with Lennar compared to other builders.
