They really need to work better at following up on the repairs in the homes

Buying this house was a huge pain. The builder routinely tried to lie to me about things and used dirty tricks to try and rush me through the process. I had to fight very hard with them to resolve problems that should have 100% been their responsibility. I am still struggling with the builder to get them to repair things that they screwed up. Aside from them rushing me through getting my new home inspection, they also moved up my closing date by a month without proper notice. I was originally going to close on 03/28 (which was signed the first week of February) per the contract but had my closing date moved to 02/28 after I was under contract because they claimed it was a typo. The communication was absolutely terrible and they dragged their feet on every one of their responsibilities (including the underwriting which did not get finished until the middle of the day on closing despite them having all their documents for 2 weeks). During underwriting, they asked for documents that were impossible to come across such as bank statemens for the current month. The only truly amazing service I received during the home-buying process was with the Loan Officer, Chris. Chris always called me back in a timely manner and never lied to me. ... More

Love the area, but from the start had a bad experience with Lennar. First, we asked for a different sales consultant which they provide a different one but the first was still involved with paperwork. Second, tried to screw me out of an interest rate lock which was already accepted. Builders did a poor job with material and not following design as they had to rebuild my island on move in day with it being to far over. With warranty repairs, also poor job with the fix of my plumbing leak. They sent out 4-5 different people from the same company to fix a simple drywall repair. They closed me in a different phase which ended up making me wait 3-4 weeks to get WiFi and other 5-6 weeks to get a mailbox key. Just an overall lack of communication. From the initial sales appointment, confirming options, coordinating with my third party inspections, to closing on the home, the service from Lennar exceeded expectations. My construction manager assigned was responsive and sent weekly videos of the construction process which made me feel like I didn’t have to go onsite all the time to check progress.

From the beginning to my closing was a Great Experience. The Lennar team, especially my sales person were the Best, Responding to my texts right away, no matter how small they were. This is my second Lennar home, because of quality, service, and price. I highly recommend Lennar to my friends and family, and they all are very impressed with my model. I really enjoyed the sales process, David was a total pro and was really responsive to all questions and helped us understand the options and features with each house we looked at. I felt like he was very honest with his advice and opinions and established and maintained a very professional and friendly demeanor with us throughout the process. The Lennar Mortgage experience was fairly painless as well with the exception of the website for uploading documents and such. The IT on the Lennar website needs attention, it doesn't work well and is not user friendly. My specific issue was it would not allow me to log in and would not allow me to reset my password, after numerous attempts over the course of several days, this was finally resolved. Some specific issues we experienced since moving in were the discovery that all of the faucets dispense water at such an angle that it splashes water out of the sink and onto the floor or onto your belly depending on where you are standing. They look nice but are not a great design for the sinks that were installed with them (which cause the splashing). I have replaced most of these already and it is a shame that the plumbers who installed them didn't identify and correct this issue (by using different faucets). The electrical (circuit breaker panel) in my house has been very challenging, popped circuit breakers have been an ongoing issue, specifically with the double ovens and the clothes dryer. We've had electricians out numerous times and also several dryer repairman visits to figure out what was going on. The dryer was popping the circuit breaker and was also found to have been wired incorrectly. They also have done a "max burn" on the ovens to help acclimatize the circuit breaker from what I've been told. The bottom line is this apparently is/was a known issue and should have been resolved prior to closing. And finally, the interior paint in this house was apparently applied while it was very cold which caused it to bubble and appear uneven throughout the home. This was noted during pre-closing walk through (home orientation and also celebration walk) and not corrected, actually many of the discrepancies related to paint that were noted during the walk throughs were not corrected. So overall, not especially impressed by the level of attention to detail and the thoroughness of the trades or post work inspection process. They cut corners on everything. Material, especially doors are incredibly cheap. The new house even looks like it's been lived in by other people for months. It's was dirty with lots of scratches when we took possession. We have all the photographs for evidence. The salespeople were tricky, sneaky, unwilling to help, and don't return calls most of the time. About the only tiny bright spot are the warranty/Lennar Care people who help address issues with the house. And there were tons of issues, probably more than 2 dozens. Will try to avoid Lennar in the future at all costs.

Easy and quick from beginning to closing

Lenders I worked with, (Jami in financing), rude and unprofessional. Building manager, (Tyler), (Natures Trail), makes promises that doesn't t come to fruition and loses key to home to my front door. Staff overall friendly, but once locked in, completely fade to 0. If Lennar wants to beat the competition, they should train their staff to be there for the customers even after the closing date.

My sales Rep Blanca was great, she helped us find our dream home. I would highly recommend her to any close family and friends. She made me feel like family and like she actually cared. SHe wanted me to love the home.

Had an amazing experience in purchasing our new Lennar home. Everyone on the sales and marketing teams were awesome to work with. Would recommend Lennar to anyone.

I definitely would like to arrange an inspection by leadership to see the overall work performed in my NEWLY BUILT home, especially by GMT. Specifically, with the trash found inside the walls, we reported to Leadership. And that it was found after they had to remove the shower wall for replacement less than a month after closing. And many other less-than-satisfactory issues we have endured. The quality of craftsmanship being witnessed is borderline criminal.

The home buying process was easy and the sales representatives were great. The only down side was I didn’t feel the home was as finished or clean as it should have been at closing.

The property is very good, I think it should improve the closing times that fluctuate and do not allow better planning at the end of the process.

Overall great value for the price. Disappointed that we were forced to sign a contract were I am out $25,000 until the lawn is complete. The builders and work done on the house is excellent. Overall everything works as expected. Master bedroom door doesn’t close and a couple of popped nails that I expect to be fixed during warranty. Seems like minor issues for considering the detail and quality of the builder. The general contractor took exceptional care in quality during the build leaving very little to correct later.

Buying our second home with the help of Martha and John was a great experience. From the first day we met Martha she always seemed to have our best interest at heart. She is a great person to work with. The underwriters were the only thing that made this transaction feel overwhelming. Other than that, John who was our HLA was a great point of contact and we are very grateful to have been able to work together. Thank you all so much!

The Lernnar staff from sales to mortgage are great, very helpful and quick response. The insurance team response could be better. The star is Danielle from the walk through and explanation of warranty to follow up after move in. The quality of the workmanship is not what I expected from Lernnar, it definitely needs improvement.

Having all the appliances in place upon moving in was nice, and tankless water heater was a bonus since it is installed next to the kitchen on the first floor. Having two separate thermostat between each floor is a nice feature as well. But what was not included were the shower door and bathroom accessories. Also lack of storage space were the negatives. I'd have preferred to pay more with these items included.

Ronnie, the realtor, Ernie, the Lender, Tammy in escrow…All Amazing, knowledgeable, helpful, trustworthy, great customer service skills and kind. The entire Lennar team performed and executed the process of buying and closing on our home stupendous and efficiently. Thank you again Lennar!

Needed to find a wonderful place in about a month after selling home and downsizing. Lennar sales representatives and loan officer worked fast and diligently to meets our needs, which includes closing costs assistance and a below market fixed interest rate in a new subdivision.

We suggest Lennar revise their marketing information. Lennar says everything is included, they definitely do not include everything not even a fridge. The builder also should hire experienced subs so that they will fix the problem once and be done with it vs. having them come over and over and over again and the last sub we had made the problem even worse than the prior sub.

Lennar builds a beautiful home. We’ve only been in our home two months. We are very satisfied with the quality and workmanship The mortgage side was very helpful and made the process we easy. Overall we had a very good experience

Warranty service is very prompt and helpful. Happy with the new home. Finance- Due to back surgery, I have moved from a bigger two-story home to one story new home within which is 10 mins away. Lennar Finance gave me real hard time at the last moment assuming that I would be using this property as investment property NOT as my primary resident. I explained my motivation to go to a downsized home in the same area only to avoid climbing stairs due to my back surgery. They asked me too many evidences to establish the fact at the last moment, it put me on stress. They need to improve this process, could have asked me at the beginning. ... More
