Happy with the home / lot we selected, no major issues with the construction and quality . A lot of gray areas in the closing process .

I personally didn’t have a good experience at all when purchasing my home. My loan officer was fired days before my original closing date. Supposedly she didn’t upload any of my documents to my folder and I basically had to start from scratch with a new loan officer. This process pushed me back another 3 months. This was very inconvenient to my life because I had to make adjustments and spend a lot of unnecessary money in order for my family to be good while we wait on our home. No extra incentive for their former employees mistakes, no one reaching out to check in or being responsive when I reached out. I literally have messages/emails in my phone that were never responded to till this day. I heard great things about Lennar previous to this experience but I have not one Great thing to say about Lennar and my experience with them. I would of backed out and went a different route if I could go back in time but I was giving the benefit of the doubt to a company that constantly gave me the run around. ... More

Lennar is amazing. We purchased our 2nd home recently and though there have been some repairs/replacements needed, Lennar has responded fast and efficiently. Love our home!!!

As a first time buyer my experience was really good.

We found a perfect home for our big family. The Lennar experience of buying our first home was more memorable because of their responsiveness and complete guidance. Quality and value is all worth it. Thank you Lennar! Forever grateful.

The process was ok and am pleased with my new home

This is the first NEW home I ever purchased, all the others were pre-owned homes. Our sales representative “Shannon “ did an excellent job in helping me through the process. The new home orientation was very good and Desmond was very thorough in showing me all the operations of the home. I have 2 comments, first the space for the refrigerator is not deep enough to accommodate a 25 - 27 cf. I had to buy a smaller 22 cf refrigerator. The space needs to be 36” not 24” deep. The last comment is there should be a written outline of the house orientation, naming service companies by trade (ie) HVAC, sprinkler system, on demand water heater, etc. given at time of the walk through. We’re too busy trying to absorb all the information at walk through. Also provide the name and phone number of whom we contact in needed service repairs. ... More

I was told throughout the home buying process by the realtors in the office and walk through team, who are all employed of Lennar, that I could put a fence in my backyard as long as it was 4ft or 5ft back aluminum. I have had the most frustrating time getting my fence approved since day 1. There are other houses with fences like mine that don’t cover the entire property. The covenants state that I don’t have to. I don’t appreciate being told by every person I talked to that represents your company I can do something that has become a huge headache. You either need to fix my problem with putting my fence in or not say a word when selling homes about what owners can and can’t do. ... More

Great company! We have two houses from Lennar .

Both my real-estate representative (Pam) and construction representative (Brian) were excellent to deal with. 5 stars each. They were knowledgeable and very attentative to my needs throughout the home buying process.

This was a very fast process especially if you have all of the required documents ready. The saleswoman, and loan officer worked together and answered every question. The loan officer held our hand and she was great. Now the underwriting was a different story. This was the most difficult part of the whole ordeal. Bottom line have all your ducks in a row. We are very pleased with this investment.

Easy process to purchase condo. Lennar staff very helpful along the way.

Make sure to check everything before closing. They will rush you saying you will miss the closing by promising we will do it later. After closing, they will change it saying you have to reach out to warranty team. This is ridiculous. Hvac switches are interchanged, light dome is missing. Backyard landscaping screwed up. Lot more to say.. Sales person involve in everything and when you say something is not right, the response is let construction team handles it. Shame!!

This was, hands down the best home buying experience I've ever had. First off, I had very few issues. The quality and care is a cut above the home building industries. The builder is either on top of problems before they get to you, or they have somehow attracted the best workers. Lennar is super organized with answers to questions you didn't know you'd have available at your fingertips. They have reasonable prices without choosing cheap materials. I would absolutely buy Lennar again in the future.

I've purchased three houses in my lifetime, but none of the experiences compare to the terrible service provided by Lennar. Starting with the sales team, they are excessively pushy and pressure you into making impulsive decisions. They employ scare tactics and provide misleading information about the property. I strongly advise against making impulsive decisions and recommend thoroughly checking all sales information before making a purchase. Additionally, the sales team will email you the contract but fail to go through it with you to explain any details. The lender team also significantly increases charges without bringing them to your attention. It seems as though they are aware that most buyers don't understand their confusing C2C statements and won't spend much time questioning them. Even if you manage to catch discrepancies by comparing C2C statements with those of other Lennar home buyers, they will attempt to distract you with mind games. I recommend hiring a lawyer or an educated individual who understands closings well to validate their charges. For example, the HOA contribution fee was stated as $100 in the flyer and contract, but they charged me $1050 in the C2C estimate. It's essential to check the loan rate lock, as they may still impose a delay fee on you if home delivery is late due to internal construction issues. There are countless issues you will encounter with the team, and it's incredibly frustrating. While their home quality is good (which is why I bought three houses from them), I had my lawyer help me validate the details for the second and third houses. I strongly urge you to validate all information with an expert. Doing so will save you from numerous headaches and thousands of dollars. ... More

It was great, everyone we dealt with was very nice and professional.

We just bought a house and it came completely filthy. Paint splatters all over the floor. Screen door not fixed as they told us it would be. They just rush you through and pressure you to sign off and make promises that they don’t stick to. Beware on the construction sign off.

- Hard to find the right person to explain the detailed T&C in the contract documents. - No one tells the whole flow, and the progress. Many Lennar internal teams like Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title, Lennar Mortgage, are not talking to each other. As a buyer, I have to explain and reach out each one for any supports needed. - After the closing, not sure when and how can the buyer get the full set of official documents including the registered deed. - The construction team did the sod installation before the mutual agreed date without notice, resulting the huge extra costs and longer time to the buyer on the sprinkler setup. ... Overall the experience was good. There was a lack of communication at times. When asked to re-evaluate certain items in the home, there were times we were given the runaround. A few items we asked to be fixed before closing, we were then told they were fixed but after closing we had to have them re-assess items that needed correcting. At the end of the day, we would go with Lennar again, and we love our house. Just could not give 5 stars for those few things.

The entire homebuying process was a nightmare from start to finish. Salesman was not knowledgeable at all to the product or process. Then the mortgage team I dealt with was absolutely horrid and unreachable most of the time. I almost pulled out of the deal due to frustration and complications that were unnecessary. In addition to this there is a design issue in the house that wont allow me to get furniture up the stairs. I am not a genius but even I can figure out that if you're building a house with all bedrooms upstairs you should design a staircase and handrail that allows you to get furniture up to these rooms. I have lodged a complaint and am getting the typical runaround. I am actively telling friends, family, and anyone I know to avoid buying a Lennar Home. Thanks! ... More

From beginning to end, this home-buying experience has been a nightmare. The salesman was unresponsive to our issue with an unfinished garage wall. The Title Company used by the builder was also responsive to our requests to meet in person for the purchase agreement signing. Worst of all, they recorded the WRONG names with the county. When asked when it would be corrected, I had to file two complaints with Headquarters in order to get things fixed. As of yet, they are still not recording our requested language in the warranty deed, as other title companies have done for us, after putting us in touch with their staff attorney. Since this is standard language for joint tenancy, which is allowable in Texas, there should be no questions on legality, and yet we have had a string of issues with Lennar. ... More

I recently bought a home with Lennar what started a smooth process quickly went sour.. As expected the lender needed a lot of information and documentation which was fine but as time went on they kept going back and fourth on what they needed even asking for forms that were not available and disregarding the documents I sent that had the information they were looking for although a long process and poor expectations being set I understand it’s a lot to work with but could have been made easier and more coordinated. When I finally closed on the hike after changing the expected move in date twice and doing the final walkthrough the house was a wreck. Mud all throughout the house and walls, a small hole in the wall, caulking removed in large areas, light figure hanging from the ceiling, someone used the bathroom and don’t flush their feces, along with trash laying around the house and more if I’m being honest I thought I was in the wrong house. I was promised the house would be cleaned and the driveway/sidewalk power washed the morning of closing and clearly neither were done. I submitted a claim to have texture redone in two spots and that was done but then was promised the painters would come the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and I’m sure you can already guess what happened. No communication was made or effort to reschedule the paint for the texture and I am still currently waiting. I let them know and got no response. Everything that was promised to me was not received the bare minimum was not received I truly was very unhappy with this experience especially it being my first home. ... More

Everything went well with no struggles. all the staff did great job in getting things done as at when do. No complaint at all.
