We love our home and were excited to buy ever since we first saw it. The design of the floor plan is awesome and the price is worth it. I will say that our grass was on the verge of dying ever since we bought. We were assured it would be okay with watering, but that hasn't been the case. There were also quite a few issues we had to have addressed after purchasing. Our master bath shower would not stay hot and we ended up having a leak from the shower enclosure. However, the repairs came pretty quickly so we were really appreciative to just how responsive Lennar was to issues. Will also note that none of our ceiling electrical boxes in the rooms seem to be rated for ceiling fans, which I find to be lesser quality given people tend to put up fans and not just light fixtures. Home experience has been good. However attempt to use on line closure was terrible. They could not seem to get paperwork correct. One issue was listing my son as my husband. Along with several others.

Construction Superintendent and most of the sales staff were awesome. Quick to respond and good communication

Great design and build for the price and location. Surprised to see couple of issues in electrical fixtures within months so can’t confirm on the quality overall until after some time. Everything was on warranty so not a big issue and their response has been pretty quick.

Great location for resale but I was really attracted to the amenities. The walking trail and park provide areas for enjoyment. I love the continuous sidewalks as well. The convenience of shopping and proximity to Raleigh is also attractive.

Was happy to move in until we needed heating. We had no heat. It took 3 repairman to figure out the problems. 1. Heating was set up for heat pump and we should have been set up for gas. 2. Had a shut off valve that kept overheating. 3. The reason the valve was overheating because the blower for the exhaust was blowing into the condensation drain. Causing a loud noise in the laundry room and not venting the gases away. This makes me believe other problems will arise due to lack of follow through by quality ensurance.

We had a good experience from the beginning until we got to the loan portion of the process. We used Lennar Mortgage company which I would not do again. The loan processor was slow with information if we got it at all and didn't tell us critical things we needed to know, we finally had to get his boss involved before things turned around. We are happy with the house and the final walk through was great, as Mike was very accommodating in getting the things done that were found.

We have had no issues with the build quality of our home so far. These homes are built with quality materials and workmanship. Small items noted on our final inspection were fixed. Our only frustration so far has been a communication problem. Simple, things such as trying to find out the exact name of the color of our white paint, so that we can get some touch up paint, have been far more difficult than they should be. The only other issues we have had were also communication issues. Some staff need to be re-trained so that correct information is being given to buyers. But this is not a build issue. ... More

I'm disappointed with Upper Management. When I bought my house in Lennar's 55+ Senior Community, I asked if they would install a couple of items (Grab Bars & Higher Toilets) their answer was NO! I have lived in three other 55+ communities and they where more accommodating for older residents needs. I would not recommend Lennar to Seniors!

Overall, the experience was good. The sales agent and team were pushy and difficult to deal with at times.

This was my first time buying a home and all though it was extremely overwhelming at times Tina and Kim at Lennar, Was absolutely amazing.

My 5th new home purchase, my second dealing with Lennar(my mom’s home a couple years back) both experiences with quality workmanship, very pleased. Designs in both cases exactly what we needed. Extremely pleased with my mom’s new home build which made buying Lennar for myself a no brainer. If ever buy again I know where i’m shopping first.

Of the five homes I have purchased over the years, this was clearly the easiest experience. Trent and Chez were very helpful in guiding me through each step of the process. All happened smoothly with no surprises.

Picked a home that was already started. Really liked home and site location. The home came with so many upgrades and the quality of the build was really good. Compared to other new houses I’d visited, Lennar cottages offered more extras for the price. However, there was a serious grading issue that I felt should’ve been disclosed. Their resolution for it made the site not work for me physically and the salesperson knew that. Someone else on team helped get me another site, which was great . But getting this new site was dampen somewhat by having to accept a home that wasn’t the one I chose and not colors I liked. In addition, there were identified issues that were supposed to be resolved prior to my move in that were not. I have had to make several attempts to get most of those issues resolved. Lennar’s warranty team acted very quickly to resolve the issues I brought to their attention. However, I had to make several requests to construction for other issues to get a resolution and still have others not resolved after being in house over a month. So my experience is very mixed and somewhat disappointin. I will say the cottages are really good homes and with great options for floor plans. ... More

Great and quick response to warranty issues; always ready to fix/correct any problem

They were very helpful. It slowed down at some point but I'm thankful for the experience and I love my home.

Purchasing a home from Lennar was a pretty seamless experience and an overwhelming amount of the staff is great to work with. I encountered a staff person by the name of Jennifer who was awful during the last steps of the process, but other than that everything else went well. Jennifer was rude and unprofessional, and I would not have purchased a stick of gum from her. Everyone else was very nice, professional, and helpful.

I had a quick closing and the home was done and everything was completed as promised. The home was reasonably priced and the workmanship seems to be good so far. They respond very quickly if I have questions or need any assistance. Overall it’s been a positive home purchase.

Process to buy was easy, mortgage process could have been a bit smoother, too many people involved with diff aspects of lending, one POC should be needed with mortgage process.
