10 points for the sales department and for the people in charge of handling complaints about things in the house that must be repaired or improved. A big difference with the closing department. Communication with the client in this part of the process is scarce, stressful, and leaves the client in a vacuum over the progress of the process.

Outstanding service and quality from the builders and team at Lennar Mira Mesa. We visited the home weekly and often they would repair the smallest things before we even had a chance to say anything. Oscar and Jose are absolutely fantastic and by far and large were the best part of our first home buying purchase!!!

Overall a great experience, the only hiccup we had was not related to Lennar, but everything has been great so far.

Materials and quality of build are great.

This was my first home buying experience and it was awesome! Everyone was very patient with me, informative and responded quickly. Chip, in my book was the most amazing! He went above and beyond on many occasions to make sure I was good and happy. He made me feel very valued by choosing lennar.

He does good work, could pick up items that have come from others working on new homes. I have 2 tire that are flat. No one takes responsive for them You could find out.

Front office at the arboretum in Fontana, ca was awesome however, eagle home mortgage was unorganized, poor communication, just terrible.

Townhouse came out beautiful. Very happy with the construction.

Lennar's quality of workmanship and value for price can't be beat. The limited options available for upgrades is great as it eliminates the nickel and dime mentality that most home builders partake in. However buying a home is a large investment and there should be a limited opportunity to customize where it doesn't impact cost or timelines. Being told no for every little thing is very off putting.

As a first time buyer, I was disappointed with the lack of options I had regarding building a brand new house. I didn't want dual sinks and I didn't want all the "smart house" tech, but there was no other option. Speaking of no options, I couldn't get tile or hardwood floors and I wasn't able to choose what was planted in my own front yard! Aside from those issues, the process itself was fantastic. My construction manager Jeff was extremely trustworthy and on top of everything. When we first met to go over things, he wrote down a date the house would be done by. When all was said and done, the house ended up being finished two days earlier than projected! On the walkthrough, Jeff pointed out issues we didn't even see. His honesty and integrity really put me at ease during a stressful time. The Lennar warranty is a real thing. I followed up with them about some issues with the house and the new construction manager, Brian, was on it very quickly. He also kept in constant touch with me throughout. Felicia my sales associate was very nice and would always be checking in via email and phone. Aside from frustrations on options for the house, everything else has been wonderful. I feel I purchased my first home for builders who were out for my best interest!

The staff is friendly and responsive, the quality is good, only gripe is the inability to add some customizations (like having rooms painted ahead of time, or different fixtures).

We love our new home. Everything is great!

Home buying with Lennar has its both ups and downs. The hardest part of the process is the approval and mortgage processing which i recommend to have a backup mortgage company to make sure that everything will flow smoothly. The house and support from the builder in preparing it before the move has been great. Lennars app has been really helpful to coordinate things. Overall Lennar as a builder has been great. As a Mortgage company maybe fair I guess it’s a case to case basis.

I felt like I had to keep talking to so many different people thru process I had to keep repeating myself

Thuy was a gem. I’m not computer savvy and she was Very helpful in showing me how to find and sign documents when I got lost. It was very fast paced. We like the roomy space in the house and it’s enough for me and my husband. We were glad they allowed us to come in and sign on closing day. We’re having fun decorating our new home.

I think that there are a lot of little things that could be done to make the experience better for the customer without adding cost.

We love our home and community so far. We feel like we are at an all inclusive resort most days.

This process was fast (16 days start to finish) and we were not prepared to move in 16 days, but we did it. The process is definitely nerve wracking because things move so fast and if it is your first time buying a home, it will be very overwhelming. However, everyone is amazing with helping and walking your through things. The most nerve-wracking thing was not knowing you had the final approval until days before the closing and having to pack up your house and do all the things associated with moving totally by faith! That part was probably the most frustrating thing, but it's the way it goes and we got a great deal. As far as craftsmanship, the houses are constructed well and very well thought. Sure, there are things that were done because it was cheaper, like the paint. It's contractor's paint and the cheapest they have. So, plan to repaint at some point once you are completely moved in because you will have scuffs from moving and so forth. Overall, we would definitely recommend Lennar. ... More

It was a quick and easy homebuying experience.

Mostly great. Still waiting for activation of Solar. Everything well explained except motion sensitive light and fan operation and hot water on off cycle button operation.

Good house, includes front yard landscaping and drip irrigation which was a pleasant surprise along with block walls in the back yard. The house was finished exactly when we were told it would be. I would highly recommend a Lennar home.

While the sales team and quality team were excellent, the mortgage “process” (not the people) was very stressful. Lennar pushes to close quickly on inventory homes, and mortgages require many steps to complete, which means they do not give the buyer much time to produce documents, or information. They set the close date quickly and threaten to “lose your great rate”, if you do not meet the time demands for disclosure. They would not schedule my closing on a date I preferred, but on a date they wanted. I believe my situation would have been much more pleasant if these demands were more relaxed or if they had worked with my preferred dates. In the long run, the rates actually have come down so I was pushed for nothing and could have closed on a better date for all involved. Even the mortgage team was stressed to meet the deadlines. This was too bad and left a bad taste for Lennar’s process. ... More
