Our hone buying experience was complicated from the beginning. We signed when Lennar was offering “smart home” packages. When we moved in and saw that we were missing the package, the rep told us they discontinued the package. He did however give us a gift card to purchase the ring doorbell and items we could install ourselves. The day we moved in was a mess. The house wasn’t ready even though we had done a private home inspection and done the walk thru with the Lennar rep. We waited at the Lennar corporate office for several hours because they had overbooked themselves on the closing day. We never even met the title guy or anyone we did our original paperwork with. The person who walked us through the closing documents told us she was only a notary and couldn’t answer any of our questions, which is why we opted for the in person closing in the first place. When we showed up for closing they still had no idea how much money we needed to bring with us so we ended up over paying and having to get a refund for the over payment. After closing we went back to the sales office and the rep couldn’t find our keys. We had to wait while the construction manager drive back from his house with them. After all that it was finally time to move in. We showed up bright and early with a moving company the next day, only to find out that half of our house didn’t have electricity. Several back and forth calls between Centerpoint, Lennar’s electric company, and the builder after a few days we finally had the repairs completed. We have had the “trades” come back to our house about a dozen times to make small repairs. Lennar’s customer service people are great but scheduling and actually getting the contractors out is a huge headache each time. They are no call no shows or show up at completely different days/times without regard to our personal lives. We are first time homeboys so we had no idea what to expect when we started this but after speaking to friends and family who purchased new homes from other builders, it seems like we may have made a bad decision choosing Lennar. We love our house but the actual construction and closing has been a nightmare. Overall a good experience.

The Hidden fees at the end of purchase.... you guys really don't pay the closing costs.....I came in move in my Master room, garage door, and my 2 bathroom have problems....seems like no one double or even tripled check. Even when I did the walkthrough, seems everything was fine but when I moved in. The Hoa fees doesn't make sense at all.... said I was supposed to pay a certain amount and then boom I'm paying more than I was supposed too. This whole thing was just crazy at the end of closing.

Internal Architecture and design on Living floor and Master bedroom are very well planned. Builder included most of the standard features and configuration without any additional cost( eg, Carpet, Quartz Counter Top, Vinyl flooring, blinds etc), this saves lot of time. Kids room should be slightly bigger. Lennar need to work on Garage design, Not possible to park two cars. also need to work on to get better appliances provided in home. Last thing that comes with Townhome is HOA, its should be well planned and should not be impacting the home owners.

First time buying and I felt relief when my questions were answered with a smile. Love my home!

In a market where everything could have turned, Lennar and their team made it happen for me. My turn around was 30 days and I couldn’t have been happier. Being a first time homebuyer, after going through several agents and other builders, Lennar gave me what I needed. The home is simple, but it’s a great starter home, and I would absolutely buy from them again. Although some teams weren’t as thorough as others, a little persistence got the job done.

House is nice. A lot to pull together to make it perfect. Lennar has been very good at warranty fixes.

The home is well built, affordable and the Lennar people are friendly and available. My only complaint is the yard. The construction materials under the sod is dangerous(giant metal pieces, nails, screws and sharp wood) and creates a bumpy yard.

Lennar offers quality at a competitive price. The communities are well thought out and some offer amazing recreational amenities.

Correction of issues, which were not many, was outstanding.

Subcontractors should have been much neater...grout work on floors a bit sloppy in places. Left glue spots on floors. Same with stucco on lanai.Kitchen Backsplash job sat unfinished for weeks. That said, the response time for repairs has been excellent.

I’ve never purchased a new home before, so this was a new experience for me. Overall, everything went smoothly and we love the community that’s evolving. We are having issues with the installed yard drains (they’re not French drains) and incompatible grading, so familiarize yourself with the warranty and ticketing system. Overall, I would consider buying a Lennar home again.

Beautiful home! Lennar made it a great buying/building experience.

Overall experience has been good. Construction supervisor Steve was excellent and warranty customer care man Pat are very good.

My home buying experience using Lennar home builders has been a tremendous experience.

Great customer service was the main reason I bought my home from Lennar. The sales team was professional and friendly. The customer care team is responsive and efficient as issues addressed quickly after move-in.

Lennar mostly lives up to the “Everything’s Included” promise for that line of houses. Excellent value for money and very inclusive with the homebuyers during construction. However, their internal and external communication could use some work. Their people weren’t always coordinated with each other on issues like when to show up for pre-closing walkthroughs or who to communicate with for certain questions and concerns and their warranty process is chaotic and uncoordinated. Overall got a great house for a market-fair price, but for such a large builder I’m a little surprised at how spotty their organization and communication are. ... More

All was good except for delivery at closing

Happy to have found a home before the housing market got too crazy. Overall I'm satisfied with my house and look forward to making many memories here.
