Our home buying experience with Lennar was great. Did not have to wait long, was approved almost right away. Only small downside is that we were not able to choose our closing date (moving fr a diff state while still in the process of transitioning to new job) but all is well and kudos to Lennar for the wonderful job and we love our new home.

Lennar homes are designed with the area nearby in mind. I am so happy with my new build. My husband and I did a lot of research and had very manageable expectations after reading others reviews of Lennar and their new builds. Yes, there are built fast and not everything is perfect. With that in mind, we are very happy with the home we purchased. Greg at Avertine in Lemoore looked out for us better than I did for myself! He was exceptional in making sure everything was perfect for sign off. With the incentives offered, it is the best option out there for anyone looking to buy in this market.

Sales representative was excellent in communicating each step of the way in the building of the home including weekly video or photo updates. Settlement through Lennie Mortgage was effortless. Although overall the home is solidly built, the dishwasher and range are builder’s grade as is the carpeting requiring immediate replacement. Sheet rock for walls appears to be lower quality than usual. Ceiling puck lights in bathrooms provide poor illumination of vanity in lieu of lighting immediately above mirrors as shown in model homes. Considering the cost of these homes a few upgrades would have earned the builder a 5-star rating in my book. ... More

Lennar homes is not 100% perfect, but it is great value for price paid. Even tough there are still areas that could be improved, our home buying experience is a solid 4 stars overall! Thank you, Lennar!

Buying a Lennar home was fairly easy. This is my first “brand new” home purchase. I didn’t expect a perfect house at this price point, but there were a few things that surprised me. Things I didn’t expect: 1. My closing date was used as leverage to not get things fixed during the pre-closing walk-through. “If you need that done it may delay your closing.” 2. The house was not cleaned. I had to mop the floors and wipe down the countertops before I moved in. 3. Gravel and construction trash was in the yard. I had to rake out the garbage from the grass. 4. After I pulled out the pine needles in the beds, I found even more garbage - anything from soda bottles to construction trash. Pine needles were simply thrown over it for concealment. 5. The Shannon Woods HOA is the most challenging aspect. Even though many items are allowed in the CCRs, you still have to ask for permission to change anything in the yard. It takes weeks to get a response and you can never speak to a real person. All in all, I like my Lennar home. I believe they could put a little more effort into their work product and the outcome would be greatly appreciated by the buyers. ... More

Overall I've had a decent experience. There were a few miscommunications at the design center, however, it was worked out in the end. When paying over a 1/2 million dollars for a house, I do expect the craftmanship to be better. Uneven drywall, corners, scratches on surfaces like your countertops and flooring were all minor but noticeable after living in the home for a period of time. There were a few issues that resulted in warranty repair and I have to say the lightening speed response is what makes the overall process much better. Although you never want to have a warranty issue right out of the gate, it's good to know Lennar took care of it quickly. I cannot say enough about our sales person John. He was able to reach out to his internal contacts at Lennar to keep things moving along during the building process. ... More

Lennar was immediately responsive both before and after purchase to all questions and requests.

Haven't gone through the process on a property I changed my mind on because I didn't feel comfortable with the process the property I did buy the crew was great and worked with me to answer most questions. All except one but that's okay.

The only thing I don’t like it is that I was contacted by an online representative and she gave me some information about the promotion and closing costs, and told me that there will be no closing costs but when my offer was accepted the Lennar agent told me that I have to pay the closing costs and our promotion on weekly basis, while no one can close a house in a week and the time for closing date signs by them , and then I had to pay a portion of closing but they told me because of that I have to higher interest rate instead the one I was told at the beginning

walk thru too fast. not all of the issues listed during walk through addressed issues sent to lenner have been taken care of. really like our new condo. believe lennar will continue to respond properly to our various issues

Lennar Builder delivered a home with good materials and provided outstanding value for the price. While the closing process was convenient and efficient, there were some areas where responsiveness to issues raised during the walkthrough could have been better. Addressing these concerns promptly would certainly contribute to an improved rating for trustworthiness.

I have bought other houses in the past and I have to say this was the easiest and fun experience I have had with the purchase of our home.

Things going smoothly and any issues have been resolved.

Had issues immediately after move in because no one noticed during the buying process the cities backflow pipe had been destroyed. Within 1 month our power failed in half the house to include HVAC due to a failure of the underground power line that was laid. There electrician partner Lennar has been almost no help. Overall I think we got the house at a good value but some I think Lennar needs to keep better tabs on the trades. It seems one doesn’t care about the damage they cause to another in pursuit of completion of their task. The issues we have had the Lennar team has worked hard and in a timely fashion to see issues get resolved and for that we are thankful. As for the the purchasing, Lennar finance was a nightmare. 1/10 would not recommend. We love the view at our front windows of the morning sunrise just above Harris Teeter. We also love the green lights and purple lights at night for the tower at the entrance of the shopping center and the assisted-living facility. The large windows create a city loft living space feel, which has been surprisingly a real plus. The sales staff and construction staff were very helpful and making the deal come together when it was supposed to.

The Lernnar staff from sales to mortgage are great, very helpful and quick response. The insurance team response could be better. The star is Danielle from the walk through and explanation of warranty to follow up after move in. The quality of the workmanship is not what I expected from Lernnar, it definitely needs improvement.

The main issues were that they should completely test units before turning them over to the homeowner. Our dishwasher was not plugged in we thought it was broken. Also our AC unit was overcharged with freon we had to call the manufacture to come out to tell us it was overcharged and they fixed it.

The only issues was that they expected me to do a task or sign something but weren't readily available for questions.

The Lennar team was always responsive and quick to answer all questions.

Great starter or retirement home.

Nice spec home with great design/layout and able to further personalize to meet my needs. Yard needs work-lots of mounds and low areas and turf not growing as it should on this property but not all properties. Lennar very responsive to address issues & answer questions so overall, good experience continues to evolve over time

The warranty representative has repeatedly come to us with solutions to issue which we have brought to him. Thanks to him.

I’ve lost tons of sleep, the experience was to say the least was heart wrenching at times, you forget this is a business first for them and a home buying experience for you second in their eyes. You’ll want to leave and forget everyone associated with the process and then you’ll wake up one day with an email saying you’re clear to close and it’ll all be worth it and you’ll thank everyone evolved. Well maybe everyone…lol My advice, be good to yourself. Compared to what you’ve gone through in your life to get to this point consider this a walk in the park. My first home buying experience. While everything mostly went smoothly, I would have appreciated a little more flexibility. I had told the salesperson from day one I would be out of state by the time the closing date came, and absolutely intractable for 3 days difference - over the holidays at that. That being said, they have been responsive to any issues that have cropped up from internet, to occasional plumbing things. Overall, I am still very happy with my house. :)
