The Lennar home buying experience went well except for one thing. I had an unexpected medical issue and asked for an extension on the closing date. Lennar denied it and it almost cost me the home.

The overall experience was good. We ran into delays but that’s expected. The sales staff was great, the customer care experience post closing has been great. The construction manager was average as he was not as detailed and peculiar as needed (thus resulting in lots of fixes afterwards). The worksmanship of the subcontractors used are average, could be better. However, any issues we’ve had since closing, they’ve addressed with no argument so that part of customer service is superb.

we moved in March 2018, so far we haven't had too many issues and when we do have issues they are looked and possibly resolved within 7 - 10 business days. We live on a Greenbelt and a development vacant lot that is supposed to be cleaned up - well the Greenbelt is a weed infested eye-sore the weeds/misc plants are as tall as the iron fence (5-5.5ft) and the vacant lot that is supposed to be grassed with sprinklers is a catch all for the construction workers for concrete, bricks and extra dirt from other areas - large dump trucks come and dump misc stuff and a small back hoe brings bricks, concrete chunks, etc...we have notified the sales office and the HOA office and still get the same answer "we are working on it" "we will keep you posted" -- so far nothing. ... The staff is great. The quality of work by the contractors on the finish work (paint, baseboards, alignments, etc) was not up to par!

For some minor issues, the General Contractor has been extremely responsive and quick to resolve. There are options that should be offered to decrease the cost of adding after the home is built. The six design items we wish that could have been completed during the build. 1. Insulated garage 2. laundry room sink 3. return line for tankless hot water. 4 Gas line to back yard for barbecue 5. power line to back yard for hot tub 6. outdoor water faucet accessible from front side of house. These are all items that are typically constructed behind the walls and require extra labor to remove and replace wallboard to add after home completion. Considering these new smart homes require a lot of technological savvy, it would be nice to have instruction manuals and additional training time allotted to take advantage of the features. It would have also been nice to know that the Amazon employee was going to set up the main control panel in the laundry room. We bought a couple items that comcast installers recommended that fortunately we were able to return when the Amazon employee informed us they were not necessary. Regarding quality, a couple key issues we requested resolution on... was to fix a significantly visible bow in the wall of the main family room, as well as a significant bow on the garage wall. As a first time home owner, my questions were mostly answered. Experience was good and follow up after moving in was mostly good. My seller agent and customer care representative were very good to work with.

I BOUGHT THIS HOUSE FOR RENT AND THE PLACE HAS A GOOD DEMAND IN THE MARKET.

PLEASE double check all plumbing and electrical before you accept the home. My home has an issue with the lights dimming when you plug in the vacuum. NOT acceptable and still not fixed after 45 days. It's been a challenge to have the electrician address any electrical issues.

Great overall experience. I feel some corners were cut, and completion was rushed to make way for new or ongoing project builds. Semi-upgraded appliances and fixtures, no handles or knobs included with cabinetry, poor landscaping that has to be redone due to weeds growing through, laminate wood flooring lifting up from foundational floor in a few areas, maybe due to careless or improper installation. All of the above mentioned scenarios/concerns creates pause with giving Lennar an Exceptional home buying experience rating. Otherwise, pretty great home so far.

Everything went well before closing. Services and updates were excellent! I expect the interior window frame inside the garage should be finished with caulking with the designer package for a premium lot. I was disappointed for that. Overall, I am happy with my townhouse that Lennar built.

Creative parking is an issue. Blocked sidewalks, driveways, and fire hydrants.

Overall the home buying experience has been good. As a new homeowner settling in though, the hurdles to obtain answers to issues that have arisen has been frustrating at times, with many issues having to be gone over multiple times until the correct company is determined.

Quick and on time .

The experience was Great. All steps were in appropriate order and as told how it would go. Recommend Lennar to anyone.

Sometimes there are things that change without a communication

Brandy was great to work with. I was looking at a Horton home. And figured out the Horton home was going to be over 40,000 more I’ve done about $10,000 worth of upgrades but wouldn’t trade my house for the Horton house and also I love the development the pool area and play area which I don’t know is I’ll use much is absolutely gorgeous. You won’t be disappointed moving here.

The project manager seems a vase, do not really control job qualities.

Our home buying experience was pretty smooth with the exception of our lennar mortgage experience. Our primary contact was last minute and unresponsive which created some challenges and frustration. We loved our construction manager and team. However, having move directly from brand new construction home, im disappointed in some of the cosmetic issues and lack of attention to detail I’ve experienced since being here. I’m grateful for the 1 year warranty that covers some of this but the cosmetic stuff is not covered and wasn’t remedied as desired upon the final walk through. Overall, we love the look and feel of our home. But I can’t help but notice more and more of those defects as we are here. ... More

The experience will be very memorable from the sales ageny Max. To my realtor Ms. Clark. The home is beatuiful. I only hope in the next two years, I can buy a second Lanner home.

Overall the buying experience hasn’t been terrible. The house is nice and the process was fairly smooth. I’ve been a little disappointed with the communication though. Trying to find the right person to get answers from for certain questions has been challenging. Sometimes I didn't even get a reply at all. When I did finally get the right person to help me, they did help me to the best of their ability. Overall it’s been a good experience, but there are definitely some areas of communication with Lennar that could have been better.

Overall, we welcomed the new home with a lot of expectations. Being an older couple we were disappointed that there were no grab bars in the showers. The refrigerator is producing ice/frost in the top drawer of the freezer section. The lighting in the bathrooms is poor for shaving of putting on make-up. The lights are behind you. The bedrooms/offices have one light and no fans.
