Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

Earle, Jonathon and Ronnie have made the buying, construction, and follow up about as good as it can get.

The home buying process was fine; wish the price was lower than we paid. I feel that the house was built too quickly, we’ve since found some issues with one outlet, painting, and the carpet and padding feels cheap. This was a spec house so we had no say or choice in what was put on the house or included in the house.

Do not buy a home from Lennar.

Weekly updates on construction were a great help during the waiting periods.

It was easy going & smooth process

This is the second house I bought from Lennar, the first wasn't too bad and of course some issues came after I moved in. For the second house things were not really good from the beginning, too many issues I found after I moved and for the price that we paid I was expecting a better quality on the construction but it's Lennar what el we can expect, look around some other options and make sure that you are going to get what your money is paying for. My advice is to try to avoid this builder if you can.

The overall process wasn't smooth and the negotiation part could have been better. I didn't have a lot of trust in all that process, seemed like something was all the time hidden from me. When moved I noticed a lot of things were done quickly, just to be done. Especially painting and finished. Lots of things left unfinished which aren't covered by warranty. Overall process I think could have been better. For the future reference, try and negociate the more you can, don't rush and if you finance with Lennar and you don't like your mortgage officer, switch to a different one. That will matter a lot. Workmanship is absolutely not known by contractors finish details are ignored the whole experience has been a nightm

Love the community and what it will offer once all is completed. Home buying experience was easy and James was a wonderful person to work with, he was very knowledgeable and made it a great experience.

I enjoyed very much working with Mr. Ricky McNeely for a couple of repair issues that turned up in the first week. He is very punctual and great to work with.

I purchased a model home. I had a fast close (Lennar wanted closing on 8/31). When I moved in, I didn't have a driveway and my front landscape was a mess and unfinished. They needed to fix a drain on my curb which delayed the driveway to not be complete until the end of September and it is now the middle of October and I need sod in my front yard and finishing touches around the driveway. I have also had issues getting my Ring home security system set up- it was already installed for the model home, but still having difficulty with it. Had a great experience while buying home with Lennar. All the communication was very proactive and able to resolve all my queries very quickly and always helped me to understand more clearly

Did a poor job at landscaping, sod was not put down properly and was dead in quite a few places.

Disappointing is an understatement when it comes to our homebuying experience. Only employees we had a positive experience with are Leah who sold us the house and has been great. And crystal who did our walk through and has helped us get a number of items fixed. Where do i start? Judy who works in Title was completely clueless that we were even buying a house. She didn’t send our final numbers for closing our wire instructions until midnight, the evening before closing. We closed online. That process was seamless. We were not told where or how to pick up house keys for our new home. Upon arriving at Lennar offices near sea world, we found Judy who then took 20 minutes to find our house keys. What she didn’t have was our mailbox keys. Insert biggest problem: our address was changed from 9765 to 9763. No big deal for us, accept that no one let the usps know. It’s is now more than 6 weeks since we moved in, and we STILL cannot receive mail, because our address doesn’t exist with the USPS. The hired help has been a bit of a nightmare as well. The electrician responsible for fixing our outlet in our garage, unplugged our garage freezer, unbeknownst to us. We finally noticed it was unplugged about 2 days later when all of our frozen chicken smelled like someone had died. There must have been 200 flies that filled our garage. That wasn’t fun to clean. The people responsible for replacing our refrigerator told us they would be there on Tuesday. At 8:30am on a Monday we get a knock on our door. They have the refrigerator. No one speaks English. I had to get my wife on the phone to translate for 30 minutes. Finally refrigerator is installed and good to go after an hour of taking off our front door to fit it inside. We go to get ice about 6 hours later, and nothing. These people forgot to connect the water line. The list goes on, but i doubt anyone has even read this far. We bought from Lennar because we loved the house, neighborhood, and Lennar has such a great reputation. What we experienced since seems like a home builder that wants to build as quickly as possible and only cares about making $. We honestly couldn’t be more disappointed with the process. No cold water Just hot or warm The circuit breakers are low voltage I can’t not plugged the treadmill on the outlet because breakers start tripping

Sloppy work. Paint drops prevalent throughout home. Appliances included were very low quality.

The number one selling point for this house was the backyard. On two occasions, Brittany told us our back yard was from the neighbors fence to our left to the neighbors fence to our right. During the initial showing we asked where the side boundaries were and she said we are “lucky because our neighbors have built fences and all we need to do was tie our fence to theirs”. My wife, myself, and our realtor all heard the same thing. Of course we all ooh’d and ahh’d about the backyard. During the walk through right before closing, she reiterated the same thing, which was again, heard by my wife, myself, and our realtor. After closing we received the plot plan that showed that there is a common area between us and our neighbors to the left, so we can’t tie our fence into theirs, meaning the backyard is smaller than she had advertised. We reached out to her and she doesn’t remember ever saying anything about the size of the yard, which again, was heard by three people. Unless this is corrected we are intending to sue. ... More

From the beginning, our sales representative understood the challenges we faced before and after the contract was created and approved. Sam's performance was outstanding and very attentive to our needs. Regarding the quality and artistry, we expected some flaws with a new build; however, more attention to details (small stuff) would be better for all concerned. Reference builder and team: we only had one encounter with the team supervision because we purchased a home build already. However, the Care Team has tremendously supported any issues after moving into our home. Message to new home buyers: stay with the process because you have a great team working on your behalf to ensure your buying process is smooth and satisfying. ... More

Overall the process was pretty good, and we were given detailed walk-throughs to identify any issues, which they took care of. We were disappointed that the closing took two weeks longer than expected, but that seems to have been due to city issues not in Lennar's control. Overall we are happy with the final product.

Entire experience was excellent in regards to purchasing a home.

Our sales agent was great when we first looked at the house and when we first signed the paperwork. After that everything went downhill. Our sales agent was no longer timely in responses and our Lennar Loan Agent was very unresponsive throughout the process to the point we went with an outside lender. He wasn’t explaining things as they were happening and just kept asking for more info anytime we reached out to check in on the process, this was the only time he talked to us. When the outside lender got us the loan and we presented it to Lennar we were told “well they got you the loan the same way we would have, so you have to use us.” Got put with the same agent who straight up told us “I don’t have time to do your loan because of the complications in it (we are 1099) so I am going to suggest to my managers to let you go with the outside lender.” Once we finally got close to closing, an updated price happened due to lack of product. We were updated and our realtor was updated but nothing was said to our broker which caused our closing to be pushed back due to paperwork having to be redone and numbers recalculated. At our blue tape walk through all of our switch and plate covers were absolutely covered in overspray as was the top of the refrigerator and the fans. There is a clear dent in the wall in the loft that looks like a door went through the wall and they patched it badly. We are currently dealing with a mold issue in our front hall closet because the drywallers put the shelf anchor directly into the main drain pipe for the house and it has been leaking into the wall for close to two months. Also the HOA expanded to include a sub-HOA for our neighborhood while we were under contract and we were not notified. We did not receive any HOA documents until a week AFTER we closed on our house even though we had been asking our sales agent for these documents for weeks prior. ... More
