overall decent experience - the biggest issue was with Ekta, the construction manager, she needed to do a much better job with finish out and getting stuff done right the first time. BEFORE WE EVER SAW IT. for this to be a new home there were way too many things that needed to be fixed. working with Randy to get all dealt with, but if she would have done her job better most of our issues would not have been - Randy and Norman are awesome!

I did not have any major issues. The minor issues I did have was addressed and taken care of in a satisfactory manner and time. The builder was very good about answering any questions and giving us a lot of information about the house.

Overall a good experience. The house was suppose to be clean upon delivery. While it looked clean there were several issues. The tile floors had numerous splotches of grout and silicone in every room. The bath tubs had rough surfaces and scratches from not being covered during the construction process. Apparently the cleaning crew did not do a complete and professional job. I am sure Lennar will make this right, but, if they are doing their job, you shouldn’t have to deal with it in the first place. There are also some paint issues and weather stripping problems. Eleven of the cabinet door open past 90 degrees and hit the wall or other cabinets. I fixed this myself but felt like the cabinet people should have done this. The sales team was awesome, very kind and there for everything that we needed. Lennar accomplished the closing date the committed to. After we gave the initial deposit we were concerned about the negative review we saw online, but our experience has been good overall. Quality of the house is ok (but it is not top luxury). There was 0 flexibility to any type of personalization, which basically gives Lennar full control to put whatever they want in the home. Some this were pending at the moment of closing and it has taken some time for them to be fixed, the priority is to continue to build new homes. Thing have been taken care of eventually after some weeks / months in some cases. Price vs quality overall is good (you get what you pay) comparing to other builders that offer personalization packages that would make it more luxurious but also pumps the price to even 100k+. ... My new home is wonderful-it’s the perfect size and has an open floor plan, garage, fireplace, bright white kitchen and wood floors -the non-negotiables in my search for a new home. My only disappointment was that items received by owners who purchased just months before me were removed from my “package”. Most of those were present in the model home, but I was aware of the take backs prior to my purchase. There are no options available which raised my cost (after closing) such as hardwood throughout, closet organizers, upgraded appliances, and rear patio. Altogether those improvements added about 10% to the cost of my home. The staff are amazing and incredibly accommodating. The community is so welcoming-I’m very happy with my choice to buy here. ... Ac outside unit to close to fence no room to get around to mow. Low water pressure Electrical outlet in garage covered by sheetrock. I didnt like need for prework on line visit

I had an overall good experience purchasing a Lennar home. Lennar has great people serving the company, including the sales agent, my loan officer, the construction manager and customer service rep., who were all excellent in their roles to support my purchase. However, I was personally challenged with a number of problems that showed right after signing the contract and moving in, which can happen. There is a warranty process in place meant to aid the new home buyer, which I did not find smooth and reponds with greatly reduced urgency. While some things were taken care of promptly, others were not, particularly when it came to appliances. I inherited a bad dishwasher. There were considerable delays to get that in working order and, frankly, when you purchase a new home, one expects new appliances in good working order. Lennar is a good company, offering offering attractive and decently made homes. The company has excellent staff and can do even better by improving the support and warranty process if and when problems arise, especially within the first weeks and months of home ownership. ... From start to finish I was kept updated on details and always knew what to expect. Mark was great. Roberto our realtor was also great working in conjunction with Mark at Lennar. The punch list items are completed, some issues I had to keep reminding them about but overall they took care of me.

Our salesperson Viet was awesome to work with! He made the buying process easy. Lennar Mortgage was not so easy to work with. The incentives that came along with buying and financing through Lennar Mortgage were questionably worth it. I basically had to hold their hands through getting our closing disclosures setup correctly. When we did the walkthrough, we felt a little rushed and weren’t able to be as picky as I wanted to be. They also missed fixing some things we identified with blue tape. I also noticed some spots where the tape was clearly just removed and the drywall or trim defects weren’t resolved. There is a 1 time in the first year drywall repair they offer, so I intend to be very picky during that, since I couldn’t be during the pre-closing walkthrough. As far as post sale stuff goes, they have resolved all of our warranty claims up to this point in a timely manner. ... More

Love the area clean and open and quiet

While the process of paperwork is fast and not confusing. The workmanship the houses are mixed. Please check everything when going for a preview of the house as something can be missing. This can be small parts that are not too significant for rejecting, but sometime a whole piece can be missing. Example: Garage Door Strut Bar.

Be more informative with the client about overall information regarding the purchasing of a home.

Where to begin. Well, in many of the interior walls, the studs are not set at 16" on center, more like 22". The finished work leaves great deal to be desired. Much of the moldings are not set right and some just plain missing. The electrical work certainly wasn't up to code, since I had 3 bedrooms working off one light switch. I still have several screws that were not covered by whomever did drywall, Ans last major item was the leak under the sink. Now having said that, the service people who came to repair, complete or adjust items reported were outstanding. They were efficient, polite and knowledgeable. The one person who stands out for exceptional service and reliability was Anellie, I'm sure I spelled her name incorrectly. She stayed on top off all the requested items until completed. She gets 6 stars out of 5. All in all, as I keep finding little things, I find it best to just remedy them myself, but I would still recommend Lennar to someone who is handy and want a good first-time starter home. ... More

Good: Professionalism and courtesy of the sales team. Excellent follow up on fixing minor construction issues that typically plaque new construction. Danielle is outstanding. Good value for price. Very welcoming and supportive community. Bad: We lived in a development in a nearby town for 23 years. Never had an issue with crime. So we were perhaps a bit naive. In less than 2 months, our house was ransacked, jewelry and car stolen. The car had been in the garage. After the fact we discovered there had been at least one other break in at the development. We also learned that thieves target new construction housing, especially those houses next to vacant lots or houses still under construction. We just did not know that. Previous attempts to address security issues such as adding more street lighting or flood lights have so far gone nowhere, either because the builder refuses to accommodate the requests, since they still control the HOA, or due to temporary township restrictions. Knowing this sooner would not have discouraged us from buying here. We just would have installed security systems immediately and taken other precautions. But of course we got no heads up. So buyer beware. Make sure your first upgrade is a security system and do not depend on the HOA (controlled by Lennar for now) to make the necessary expenditures to improve security at the Venue. Perhaps that will change in the future but for now, it is what it is. ... More

We have a beautiful townhome but the little details could use some work. paint splatters, doors that don't completely close, appliances not leveled, carpet tack strips that stab your feet because they weren't flattened. Took over a month to get internet installed to my house. These things are all fixable and Lennar says they will be fixed. I'm waiting to see. Just thought I would see the quality right away, not have to wait until things get fixed.

Everyone was extremely nice. I was concerned about hearing traffic from my townhouse bc I don’t sleep well. I was told about the insulation and that I wouldn’t hear anything. I do hear traffic and sometimes the neighbors. It’s not too bad. I have also read on the FB group that there is a $1200 per year county building assessment that is never disclosed to us which is pretty upsetting since we apparently have the highest taxes in Sussex County. It’s a very nice community and I’m really enjoying it. So far any issues that I’ve had have been responded to quickly.

Good experience. I just wish there was more communication on status of process. Need better quality control of homes. Felt the need to inspect every week to make sure there weren't oversights. Without a third party inspection many issues would have occurred.

The home buying process was quick and easy for us. Everything was done via the app and the closing was done over zoom. We love the house!

Customer service was fantastic from everyone except the construction landscaping person ( Eric). He said he had corrected everything pointed out during the walk through but then when we would go check it wasn't. He is the only person who we were very disappointed with. He did that more than once. He said it was done and it wasn't.
