Everything started well, but there were issues at our 1st walk through that were never addressed. Windows and sliding doors were not aligned, chips in paint, chips n bath tub, chip in flooring. By second walk through things were still not fix Mark said check it off so you close and we will come fix any remaining issues…… Not the case the process to submit tickets is terrible and the follow up was worse. The biggest issue wears an electrical breaker was going off at the walk through. I identified it and asked for it to be investigated, at the second walk through the only fix was that the breakers was reset, then tripped again. The electrician was called and the wire was fried, he stated it was a big fire risk and good thing we didn’t keep resetting the breaker. He was to update the build and that never took place. Spoke to mark 4 weeks after close to follow up and he said put a ticket in even though the original ticket was never closed. It was finally fix, my wife and I felt dismissed because now that we closed our concerns are not priority once the money is transferred. After closing, comes to find out mortgage company didn’t complete the final credit check and closed without it. This is added unnecessary stress for anyone. Builder mix up mail box keys, we received keys of our neighbors box, this was confirmed by the post office. There are many gaps in processes from loan process, to building, and customer service. Our sales person Cheryl was an still is excellent! She answered all my calls and emails, and was extremely helpful assisting us when our vendors for closet and garage floor work need access for pricing. Having come from Tradions of America, to a Lennar home, we can say the value and overall craftsmanship of the home is exceptional ! The overall experience has been amazing!

At first prior to going into contract, the sales team so super friendly and would always respond and communicate. I’ve you go into contract with them, it all goes away. Everyone on the office plays the blame game with no one taking accountability. They are rude and made our home buying experience very negative. David basically told us that his drive home was more important than us getting our keys and gave us all sorts of attitude. When he dropped off our keys, he did not acknowledge me but walked straight to my husband and only spoke to him. No one reached out to explain the closing process and expected us to know everything. I probably would never buy another Lennar home and wish I could have backed out after being treated like this. Their construction manager, Warlito was amazing and knowledgeable. He walked us through everything and explained it to where we could understand. He answered all our questions and is more reliable than the sales office. ... More

We keep finding staples in the carpet, and my kids have bloody toes from stepping on them. They did fix everything we pointed out during the walkthrough except the carpets. The carpets are stained, and we can't do anything about it. They force HOA, and the company they use is garbage and think that they own our houses and our community. Associa is sucks. We did have a warranty claim, and they got it fixed quickly. They built the houses too fast.

Viridian is a great neighborhood and community. You pay for that. The designs of the Lennar homes in this community are wonderful and the models show well. Unfortunately, the quality of the build is not what we expected for a home at this price point. We have been working through several warranty items which ultimately could have been non existent if there was a little more attention and higher level craftsmanship in the initial build. Lennar quite frankly needs to hire better contractors that seem to care about the quality of their work. And needs better quality control… interior paint and trim is third rate. The tile install looks great until u see the horrible caulk job around the baseboard through the entire house. Especially when areas were filled with caulk to hide mismeasured cuts in tile. Don’t feel like the install was from a seasoned professional. And things seem to magically change that were different in model and u get zero notifications that things are going to be different that’ll what I saw in model. So many shortcuts taken it just left us disappointed. Warped Blinds, uneven hung valances, sloppy install on Master Bath shower. Should have known better when we visited house during build and saw a pile of empty beer cans and bottles piled up in the front curb. Good News is the warranty team is on point helping get these items addressed. However, doing things right the first time would have saved a lot of stress and hassle and missed work days having to be home for warranty issues. ... More

Our experience was positive. All persons involved were helpful and responsive in a timely manor. There were no major issues and we feel our purchase was great value for the amount we paid for the home. We would definitely recommend Lennar for a future home purchase.

Quality issues within the home our concern, floors, rugs walls, etc

Lennar was very responsive when I initially signed for the property and things changed afterwards. The workmanship is poor and cheaper products, lights, bathroom fixtures are used. The paint job is very poor. I have begun to have my Villa repainted. I would not recommend at this time.

I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

Gina Woods is an extremely good and very helpful snd friendly tealtor for Lennar. She has helped us all the way through the process. A true knowledgeable professional we cannot say enough good things about her.

The whole buying is experience was good until Damon the salesperson got involved and was arrogant and unprofessional. Soured the whole good experience.

I've been in my home of just about 6 weeks and just got the keys to my mailbox 2 weeks ago after much effort on my part. My grass is dying along the edge and more brown/ gray spots are developing. I don't have a light in the front of my house and it's very dark now and I'm at the very end. I'm still waiting

Would have liked to have been better informed during the whole process. Structural and design changes were made during the building process that I wish would have been shared with us. Issues addressed were not completed by final walk through. A month into ownership, we feel that some issues were forgotten about.

Lennar was wonderful to work with during the home buying process.

This is our first Lennar home. Having purchased DR Horton in the past we had some expectations already and Lennar blew them out of the park.

No cable. No lawn. No towel racks. Bad paint. Cut corners everywhere.

From the day we signed our loan docs to our roof leaking. It’s been a journey from day one. We can only hope that the worst is behind us.

Could not make walk through, tried a zoom walk through however lack of internet did not allow that. Therfore we were quite surprised on move in day. Doors were unlocked missing items from within the home washer & dryer not hooked up. House was never cleaned very good, water to refrigerator not hooked up, dish washer did not work and it took three times over a month to get it working. Paint on 90% of all wall plates. And when we tried addressing these issue we were told it's now a warranty issue. Therfore not a very good experience to start out.

Easy process. Sales support was good. Usual sales tactics. Took some follow up for aftersell warranty fixes.

At first glance, the houses look great. However, lines are not straight, walls are crooked, door frames are cracking and the hardware is drilled and redrilled into place leaving loose screws and doors that won't stay shut. The electrical system is faulty, plug in a hair dryer, lose power in half the house (until you reset the breaker). Water pipes aren't buried, they're simply covered with mulch. I'm afraid to see what the future brings with the quality of this house. The process of buying the home should have been an indicator of how the quality of work would have been. Each step of the way, I had to jump through hoops for anything from "proving" why my company hired me to many other personal and intrusive questions that had no basis on my ability to pay for the home. The home was extremely dirty when we moved in and we were told, "That's just how it is when you move into a new house." I will say, that the warranty section has started fixing some issues, well see if it continues. ... More

A month later and we still have problems with construction that are slowly being addressed.

First of all, Felice is great at explaining everything; she is a fantastic person and helped us a lot during the process. Mark on sales was excellent; he constantly communicated with us and was very helpful in showing us the property. From the builder, I am happy, but I also see some quality of the work is not good; something happened that makes me believe they are using non-high-quality contractors; they seem to oversee some essential things to get right and fix (ex, the did not connect the laundry, garbage disposal, minor leaks, dirty carpet with paint) and some stuff that should not be happening in the first place. I believe they are slowing down the start of the construction of the community area, giving more importance to the houses. I was inside the newly built homes several times to see the foundations and everything, and I do see some low-quality work in some areas when they break wood and do not fix it properly. So far, no significant issues have been encountered in the house; I still believe it is not worth the money, but the market is crazy. Also, the upgrades in some places are crazy expensive; I do not know why they overcharge for it; it does not seem right to me when the quality of the work and materials are not that impressive. Overall, it is a good community so far; there are no significant issues, except it is still under construction and there is some noise; parking is a mess with all the contractors and workers coming, but you have your garage, so as long as you don't have more than two cars, you should be fine. In general, I love my home, but the value for the price paid was at the high end. ... More

This is my second new home purchase from Lennar in the last 3 years. It is only my second home. For the most part i'm satisfied with the promptness and transparency of communication. On this purchase i went with Lennar Mortgage and i did find the mortgage approval process a bit more onerous than i was expecting, and a photo survey of the completed house needed to be conducted after i moved in. This was to satisfy the lenders requirements, but coordinating this was awkward and a bit intrusive. Quality of construction was good, though there were some construction details i was expecting from this home based on my previous home purchase. One was the lack of paint covering the drywall installation in the garage. Secondly the "Everything's Included" wi fi set up was arranged differently from the previous house which confused expectations. The new Genie garage door opener is fine but the remote handheld control is unsatisfactory; not as good as the one in my first home. There was an inoperative light fixture located above the bathtub. Scheduling the repair was awkward and time consuming, though the initial survey and assessment was quick. During the troubleshooting process it was discovered that a light fixture for the shower was covered over! This was identified and fixed promptly. After the repair was done ANOTHER visit had to be conducted on behalf of the lender to photograph the finished and repaired bathroom. 2 months into the home ownership, the house has evidenced no other problems or deficiencies in construction. Beware of purchasing a home through Lennar. Unfortunately, the project manager does not manage their jobs. Contractors are getting away with crooked walls, drainage issues, poor workmanship, grading issues, etc. They will make excuses and not fix them. The project manager may even get in your face and try to threaten you. Poor purchasing experience! I will never purchase another Lennar home!
