Great builder! Attentive to buyer’s needs, addressed concerns quick

We love our new home and Fendol Farms. Once we were thought the closing process things were much easier. Seems like the coordination between Lennar and the land developers needs some work. The few issues we had with the home were handled quickly and without questions.

Pretty easy purchase process. Great home for the price. Great customer service when needed.

We are very happy with our new home. We wished that our HOA was as responsive and involved as the Lennar builders have been. Issues that we have come across have been addressed by Lennar in a timely manner.

Hectic at times but overall very pleased. Hats off to Jorge, Wade, Cristina, and my sales rep Shay. All excellent people who take pride in their work and go the extra mile. My exp w/ Lennar Lending however was a complete joke. Quote from your lending rep “if you don’t like the interest rate you can go back to renting” —-excuse me?

Homes are very nice...It would be helpful if door jambs were better suited for adding screen doors.

Overall, we like most everything. The quality of the materials used though should be higher for the price paid on the home.

Lennar has been very good addressing after sale issues with the home. The home buying process was very smooth.

After we purchased the home a few thing weren’t right, so we contacted Lisa your after market sell person. She was great Five stars for her. Also the foreman was the same Five stars.

Overall the experience was Great! The only part that was a little bit choppy was the loan process. Had to reach out a few times to get answers and wouldn’t get clear answers.

Working with the underwriter was a terrible experience. Endless questions about insignifigant expenses that were pertinant to one month of expenses only. He could have easily missed major expenses that occurred on other months. I wish we had financed through our bank that knows us well. Great service and follow up with Dave H. on final inspection. He was extremely responsive when we had the A/C break down. Megan P. has been very good with staying in touch to see if we were satisfied.

The warranties have been very helpful. Tom from Heritage Asante in Surprise has been exceptionally helpful.

The home seems to be well built with a quality workmanship, However the sod laid down for my yard was one star at best. The Lennar representative came out today and was very courteous but was quick to say that my contract calls for my complete ownership of the yard. My contract was over 100 pages and signed in about 45 minutes. The walk through was thorough for the inside of the house but contained about 1/10 of the information I learned from the Rep today. He said that the yard should have been watered 30 minutes in the morning and 15 in the early evening each day. My water bill was 3 times what it was in my previous house and apparently that was still not enough. The sod was dormant when it was laid down and more than 50% of yard never made it past that stage. I was told that aeration and fertilizer would help but I didn't consider that my job. I have asked the HOA for assistance and was told to contact Lennar. When does this circle of ownership stop? ... Basically, I really like the layout of the house. Very well insulated. Electric bill has yet to be $100.00.

Giving the Builder any concerns or questions is key to a pleasant experience

My backyard fence was only 5 foot high the entire neighborhood on my side having foot the bill to bring it up to 6 foot

One of our windows's glass is broken after 3 month purchase,the security system in the community can not figure out what happened.A little bit disappointed about what happened to our new home purchase.

The staff was great from start to finish!!! Sawyer went above and beyond in addressing our issues and concerns. The town is beautiful, you wont be disappointed!!

Our hone buying experience was complicated from the beginning. We signed when Lennar was offering “smart home” packages. When we moved in and saw that we were missing the package, the rep told us they discontinued the package. He did however give us a gift card to purchase the ring doorbell and items we could install ourselves. The day we moved in was a mess. The house wasn’t ready even though we had done a private home inspection and done the walk thru with the Lennar rep. We waited at the Lennar corporate office for several hours because they had overbooked themselves on the closing day. We never even met the title guy or anyone we did our original paperwork with. The person who walked us through the closing documents told us she was only a notary and couldn’t answer any of our questions, which is why we opted for the in person closing in the first place. When we showed up for closing they still had no idea how much money we needed to bring with us so we ended up over paying and having to get a refund for the over payment. After closing we went back to the sales office and the rep couldn’t find our keys. We had to wait while the construction manager drive back from his house with them. After all that it was finally time to move in. We showed up bright and early with a moving company the next day, only to find out that half of our house didn’t have electricity. Several back and forth calls between Centerpoint, Lennar’s electric company, and the builder after a few days we finally had the repairs completed. We have had the “trades” come back to our house about a dozen times to make small repairs. Lennar’s customer service people are great but scheduling and actually getting the contractors out is a huge headache each time. They are no call no shows or show up at completely different days/times without regard to our personal lives. We are first time homeboys so we had no idea what to expect when we started this but after speaking to friends and family who purchased new homes from other builders, it seems like we may have made a bad decision choosing Lennar. We love our house but the actual construction and closing has been a nightmare. One positive thing was that Lennar addressed the issue with the builder and fired the construction manager that overlooked our home. Too bad it was AFTER us. ... More
