First - I love my house. The design and size is perfect for me. There are many things that done well, especially the insulation. It might be warm outside, but not inside the house even without the air conditioning. The customer service rep has been great and has tried to quickly have my issues resolved. However, several of the issues reported should never have made it pass the final inspection before settlement. While I was disappointed that some things are seen as 'within the standards', I know that Lennar's standards are higher than other builders that I have dealt with in the past. IT STARTED OUT AS AN EXCITING EXPERIENCE TO LOOK FORWARD TOO. LENNAR HAD A GOOD REPUTATION BACK IN THE DAY.BOUGHT VILLA ON LAKE WITH A LARGER LOT FOR THE PURPOSE TO PUT UP SMALL FENCE FOR MY TINY ELDERLY DOG. TURNS OUT HOA WOULD NOT ALLOW ANY PLANS FENCE COMPANY SUBMITTED BECAUSE OF HOA SET BACKS (NOT CITY), THEN UNDERGROUND UTILITIES WERE USED UNDER THAT EXTRA 3 FEET OF PROPERTY I BOUGHT INSTEAD OF SOMEWHERE ELSE MAKING THE SIDE YARD NOT USEABLE. I DID CHECK WITH CITY BEFORE I PURCHASED AND THEY LOOKED UP PROPERTY AND TOLD ME I HAD ENOUGH ROOM TO MEET REQUIREMENTS…THAT A SMALL LAKE IS NO REASON TO PUT A BIG SET BACK BY HOA ON A VILLA BUT THEY HAD NO CONTROL OF THEIR REASONING. BOTTOM LINE IS SPENT THE EXTRA MONEY FOR NOTHING. SECONDLY SO MUCH TURNOVER AND CONFUSION ON WHO IS FIXING WHAT UNTIL. SOME TRADESMAN YOU SEND ARE GOOD AND OTHERS TERRIBLE. MY KITCHEN CABINET STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED PROPERLY GOING ON 3 MONTHS. ONE TRADES MAN HAD THE RIGHT IDEA BUT DID A LESS THAN PAR JOB. NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME THE ENTIRE CABINET HAS TO BE REPLACED (WHICH I WAS TOLD MONTHS AGO) WHICH REQUIRED BACKLOG OF ORDERING AND THEY CAN’T ORDER TOP PIECE AT SAME TIME BECAUSE OF THE “UNKNOWN” IF NEEDED. SURELY YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT CABINET CARPENTER THAT CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT! WHEN I CALL NOBODY KNOWS. I AM WILLING TO PAY FOR IT MYSELF SO I CAN MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE OF HAVING PEOPLE COME IN HERE TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS OUT THAT DON’T WORK. THANKS TO BRENT WHO WAS THE FIRST CS PERSON THAT ACTUALLY SEEMED LIKE HE CARED AND NOW HE IS GONE. YOU HAVE RUN OUT OF PAINT TOO. . NOW WHAT? I NEED ACTION ON THESE CABINETS…I HAVE WAITED TOO LONG. Jason/Andrew - professional, respond to calls immediately, and look out for residents. They go above and beyond to help with questions on issues on my house!

I love the neighborhood and the customer service and customer care have been remarkable and noteworthy. The sales staff was welcoming, helpful and always available for questions and concerns. The design center staff was friendly, helpful and I felt no pressure. I love the "Everything is Included" feature and the included appliances are of good quality. The sales price was competitive, if not better than other builders. However, the workmanship and materials are lacking. I have had more issues in regards to workmanship and materials than with any other builder and the repair process is frustrating and time consuming. However, the customer care staff has been amazing and always going above and beyond. Overall I am very happy with my new home, it is beautiful, comfortable and in a lovely neighborhood. Still waiting for things to be corrected that were listed on my final walk through. I closed end of January and it is now May. Nothing urgent but yet I’m hoping that I will not be forgotten!

Over all I am happy

The process of building a home was smooth with regular updates from the construction manager and new home consultant. We were briefed almost every week on the progress being made. However, there were numerous errors in the build. Framing issues, incorrect finish materials, etc. that were caught by us and not the construction manager. Work had to be redone. This was a bit concerning, as it was apparent attention to details was not happening. The lack of keeping the trades accountable for acceptable and correct work translated in us closing on a home that had a wall that needed major repairs, stairs being re-stained, a poorly stained front door, and poorly painted and finished parts of the home. All of this should have been caught before we closed on the home. Lennar was so fixated on keeping the original closing date, work was rushed. Quick and Quality are not usually compatible. This has made our warranty consultant have to work extra hard to rectify all the issues that should have happened in the build phase. Plus it has been extremely inconvenient to our family to deal with drywall dust and construction after we've moved in. I will say Lennar has made good on all the issues we've found after move in and done it with a great attitude. That is a plus for them standing by their product. Good support with issues. Expected better materials

Overall Lennar has been easy to work with from home purchase to resolving most of the warranty issues.

Home buying experience was fine. Customer care responsiveness to resolve issues could be better.

Gen suite has worked out wonderful. Both in-laws and parents have had extender stays. Neighborhood amenities are wonderful. Recently installed my Tesla electric car charger(easy hookup). The sales team outstanding. Thanks Scherri for all your support, assistance and caring.

There were no surprises. The buying experience was very well spelled out from the beginning.

Delivered a quality product at a fair price. Missed the estimated completion date by 3 months but Covid 19 issues more responsible for that than builder.
