We lived out of state and was bought the house site unseen. When we contacted lennar we had a salesman contact us. He was pretty good at keeping in contact until the closing. There were a few issues that had to be addressed, however, most were taken care of before the closing. The fact that we cannot get prints to the house is a little irritating considering if we need to do any upgrading or remodeling, we don’t know where anything is running in the home. We understand the prints are property of lennar, but the prints could be stamped and given to the owners. Steve, our construction supervisor has been absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable with everything. It would have been nice to see that there were actually houses going to be built behind us before we put the down payment down. We would have chosen another lot. We also had to go to another builders website to see the community space that is behind built, so that may want to be updated on Lennar’s website. ... More

Very professional and responsive to buyers.

I cannot say enough good things about our Sales rep Jennifer B. and our Construction Site Manager Andrew ! Both went above and beyond for us to make our purchasing Experian Che the best! The only down side was dealing with Lennar mortgage. They were horrible to deal with and made stress for us every step of the way. Never use Lennar Mortgage. If it wasn’t for the great treatment from Jennifer and Andrew we would have cancelled the contract and looked elsewhere.

Angeline 55+ Community has the worst contractor follow ups. We closed on our home August 30, 2023 during the hurricane, therefore we were unable to do the final walk thru none of the items were fixed and they still are not fixed, we keep getting promises but nothing happens. The internet is the worst!!! I have little or no service in the house, they put the box in the furthest point in the home and it delivers a very weak signal. I have talked to customer service and they say there is nothing they can do for us it's the internet provider but Lennar provided an extended to other residents of the community at no charge but they told me that that is not offered anymore and it didn't come with our package!! Package??? we did not know it was an option, nor did we know that the internet would be a problem. Because of the lack of weak internet, our ring doesn't even protect our home! I work out of my home and rely on the internet! We will never purchase a home from Lennar again! ... More

Make sure you get everything fixed before you buy and sign that dotted line. also, give it all a really good look and get your own professional to review your house. quality of certain materials like doors very cheap and can hear everything from room to room in through the wall, and every foot step in house.

My spouse and I had a positive home buying experience with Lennar. All the stakeholders we dealt with were excellent. In particular, the new home consultant and loan officer navigated the entire process with us with diligence and satisfaction. In short, they honor their commitments.

I have yet to receive any follow up from my original walkthrough from closing nearly two months ago. The response has been unacceptable.

Pushy sales people with very little empathy for those of us trying to sell homes in this market. Cheap appliances, carpet, fixtures, paint, window sills… thin walls that let in traffic noise, and the cabinetry (small, not soft close) comes without hardware, which means you have a hard time opening your kitchen drawers! Poor management to welcome buyers into the home and help understand all the implications of utility easements, fence install, other HOA rules causing a lot of anxiety among neighbors and shattering visions. 30 day inspection seems to be purposed to talk you down from the items you submitted. End-to-end… rubbed me the wrong way. If I didn’t have to move, here, and at this time, I would have pulled out. Not sure how the other builders are in the neighborhood, but we definitely felt unimportant and take-it-or-leave-it style as opposed to Lennar ensuring their home building facilitates better lives. ... I am happy to say that from the initial contact with the online rep to schedule a tour of the new community, to the closing on my home, the process went very smooth. I was assisted at every stage of the loan process by my loan officer and processor who were very professional and responsive to any questions I had. I am so glad that I decided to buy with Lennar, they have delivered on everything they promised me and more. I would recommend Lennar to anyone looking to experience a stress free journey to home ownership, especially first time home owners.

I'd like a Lennar representative to call me and discuss some of the issues in my new home. It is not fair to deliver a finished product product like my house. Thank you.

I love the house, however going through Lennar Mortgage was a nightmare! We sat at the closing five hours waiting on the paperwork. Again, we love the houses, but do not use the mortgage company.

We have been lied to, misled, dismissed, and a few other negative experiences during our Lennar purchase and ownership. From the first problem with the closing date requested when making our offer through our first significant warranty claim, it has been problem after problem, and struggle after struggle. This is our third new home purchase, and I feel we are familiar with how this process should go. Lennar has been the worst experience of the three. No one seems to care and no one seems to be empowered to do the right thing, let alone resolve anything. Running out of places to turn for help, and this is just the start of our home ownership. ... As an out of state buyer it was not a pleasant experience! I would never do this again! I should have never continued with the closing when things were not completed in my home as promised but I did on good faith. Promises after promises to get things done but as of yet it was not completed! Voicemails, calls ,text messages all ignored! When you have a home in another state and you reach out to the sales rep and the head of construction just to be ignored it beyond stressful! I will be arriving to my home in Naples in November and will have to deal with warranty still not a happy buyer!

The Lennar staff are great. The workmanship I see after being here is disappointing. My 60 day list has over 20 items that need to be looked at. Some should have been done before closing.

The overall buying experience was easy once a house was identified. Joel was our first point of contact, who kept in touch about upcoming inventory/prices/timing. Upon purchase, Brian was our homeowner representative and was ever so helpful in learning about the house and getting things ready. This whole process with Lennar, and their escrow company, was efficient and easy.

As with any home purchase their were hiccups however the Lennar team got us through them with great service

Everyone during the process was very helpful and professional. Kelly was so kind and Harry is always on it if we have questions about the home. The home itself is gorgeous and I’d highly recommend Lennar to anyone.

Lennar delivered my home before the anticipated date and was quick to fix the very small issues from my walk-through days after closing.

David was so helpful. Everyone was nice . Good experience overall

After making the decision to sell our home in PA, we decided to purchase our new home in Ocala, FL direct from Lennar, strictly on-line without ever visiting the location, something we thought we would never do. Great communication, great sales representation and thanks to Bryan G. for sending pics throughout the process, so far workmanship appears fine, hopefully will remain without any major issues over time. Wish we could have customized a few things, but overall, we will make it our own over time. Thank you for a great experience!

Contractors workmanship very poor Appliances supplied very poor and cheap manufactured 2002 Does not keep their promises on the repairs They rush you through the closing and promised to finish the remaining repairs on varies things and was poorly done Items used on the house very poor quality . I will never purchase house under the Lennar name or recommend them .

In order to closing, rush everything, the quality can imagine, hope they will increase the quality.

Overall, it was a positive experience leading up to closing; however, closing day was a mess. My loan officer (Dawn) was incredibly communicative and helpful, but I cannot say the same for my loan processor. My loan processor did not communicate clearly with me or the rest of the team, leading us to believe that I would not be closing as scheduled. I was scheduled to close in the afternoon, but I did not close until around 5 PM, disrupting my entire workday. When I reached out the night before closing to ensure that everything was in order, I was told that there were no issues. The builder tried to be as helpful as possible, but he wasn't incredibly familiar with my property during the final walk through. He had also not been sent the full inspection report from the Lennar real estate agent, which led to some confusion. My largest challenge has been post-closing. The Lennar representative assisting with my 30-day check-in has been hard to reach. She missed our first meeting (that she had scheduled) without a call or notice. I had to call 3-4 times to get an answer 40 minute after our scheduled meeting. She had forgotten and was not apologetic. We rescheduled, and when I reached out to confirm the night before this meeting, she said she'd try to be on time but had another meeting right before mine and would try to be only 10-15 minutes late to mine. It really should have been a phone call. I am planning to reach out because I have still not heard anything about my repairs over a week later. ... More
