The overall experience with Lennar was good, especially from the beginning with sales. The sales team was great, straightforward and professional. The Lennar mortgage team was also great to work with but I will say they treated someone else I know who purchased a first home in the beginner series with less concern and value thank they did us with a higher priced home. Buying experience was not like any I have expienced before. Communication was horrible. Loan requirements were ridiculous. Took forever to get loan approved and then rushed to close and got keys before home was entirely complete. Still working on the solar to complete process. We did the walk through and put blue tape. Looks like some of the tape was taken off with no repair done and some of the touch up (especially painting) was made worse by the sloppy work.

The homes are beautiful and the buying experience was really great. But after we moved in we found that there was a lot of attention to detail and uncompleted work. Good thing is that Lennar does react quickly to issues. I bought new instead of old home because I didn't want to deal with these types of issues.

Having been a Realtor in Florida and purchased well over 20 homes, I found the buying process to be cumbersome. Closing documents exceeded 250 pages, WOW. The number of pages I am accustomed to for a closing had been 20-30. I guess Lennar is doing their part for full employment in the areas they sell homes. Aside from all of the paperwork I have been very pleased with Lennar's follow through and workmanship in the building process.

Lenar is in it to turn over homes…it’s lost in the name. The workers who do as little as possible, the nails left after clean up, I’ll go so far as no integrity in workmanship… we paid for “luxury”. There is nothing luxurious about these homes especially the finished product. Location is wonderful…integrity is lost with these homes at closing

Buying process and moving in was smooth Unfortunately a week or two upon moving the dishwasher started leaking which cause a lot of damage on the surrounding cabinets and flooring. Lennar team was quick to assess the situation and provide solutions. However the new parts needed takes time to arrive so we dont have a kitchen for more than two weeks now. Hopefully once parts arrive it will be seamless process moving forward.

Overall the experience was fantastic. The team was highly responsive during the initial process. I wish there was better communication during the final few weeks and that the blue tape walk was given more attention for the repairs as many things were left incomplete and required follow ups after. At this point the issues are resolved but it took quite a bit of work on my end for previously identified issues. That being said, the teams have been highly professional and the warranty team already has been great to work with. Overall I am satisfied and feel like this was a great purchase.

We love our home. The process was great with Lennar helping us through the process. Sometimes to many times redoing paperwork. Needs more windows in some areas but it's what it is. Wiring for garage door is to thin. I still don't get why they would not have a garage door opener included. We spend enough it should be. This area needs a whole house serge pertector we were told it had one. It doesn't. Laminate on floor is to thin. My dogs hate the grass. They do not like walking on it. Our Sales Representative was awesome. He was thorough, patient, and responsive. We looked at a mortgage loan, and our mortgage Representative was also outstanding. The process can seem annoying at times, but understandable. The home build has not been as stellar, and somewhat disappointing. Mudding, caulking, and paint priming has been the source of frustration. Cabinetry quality is satisfactory, at best. Still moving in.

We bought our second home from Lennar and we love it. Very nice floor plan and design, great location and overall good experience. My only complaint is the kitchen countertop. It has some big stains form installation that we didn’t notice on the final walkthrough and looks like are not covered by their warranty. So make sure you check everything it’s covered and address all issues before buying.

I like my home but it has been a headache since first doing our walk through. I can’t believe that Lennar is okay with the condition of their homes when it is time to close. The house was dirty. Walls, floors, cabinets, windows all dirty. It has been 60 days and we still do not have grass. I want to plant flowers but unable to. I would not suggest Lennar home to others. My first new built home was Cambridge. They were so much better

We have recently moved into our our new Lennar home and have found issues we could not see during final walk through. Shower door leaks, feel the nail heads sticking up when walking barefoot on the carpets, unfinished flooring at the bottom of stairs, see sunlight coming through gaps in the attic walls, breaker keeps throwing off when several family members use electricity at same time, fire alarms going off randomly and lots of cracks in the front porch concrete that are not guaranteed with home warranty. The homes are beautiful but construction needs major upgrades in building these homes.

Struggling with USPS mail delivery after moving into our new Lennar home

The buying experience seemed satisfactory at the beginning and until closing. However, once we moved into our new home at the Trails community in Carmel Mountain Ranch San Diego, we observed that the USPS letters were not getting delivered to our assigned mailbox. We learned that USPS has not yet installed the mailbox carrier locks and they didn't have a timeline for completing the corresponding work order. When I request anything from Lennar, they are very responsive. When requesting something from third parties, like Edmonson, they are not as responsive. This was a first time contacting Edmonson, so they get a mulligan. But when you leave a message and a call back number, and no one calls back, that's a problem.
