The buying process was fairly smooth. I have had issues with the AC since moving in. It is working for the first time in 5 weeks.

I recently purchased a house, and overall, it was a smooth process that I would recommend to others. While it wasn't 100% perfect, the experience was certainly positive and aligned with my expectations. From the beginning, the communication with my real estate agent was clear and timely. They guided me through each step, ensuring I understood what to expect at every stage. The paperwork was straightforward, and I appreciated the transparency regarding costs. There were minor hiccups along the way, like a slight problem with getting a later appointment for the walkthroughs date and a few unexpected repairs that popped up during the inspection. However, these issues were handled professionally, and I felt supported throughout the resolution process. In the end, I got exactly what I paid for—a lovely second home that meets my needs and feels like a great investment. I’m pleased with the outcome and grateful for the overall experience. The overall experience with Lennar was good, especially from the beginning with sales. The sales team was great, straightforward and professional. The Lennar mortgage team was also great to work with but I will say they treated someone else I know who purchased a first home in the beginner series with less concern and value thank they did us with a higher priced home. They should be no less important. As far as the home itself goes, I believe it might be lacking in quality materials and workmanship. Corners seem to have been cut to save money. We have only been in our house a month and a half and already have had two significant warranty issues - one due to poor workmanship and it took 4 visits and 3 weeks to correct. Communication on that was terrible as Lennar couldn’t seem to figure out which sub should address and correct the problem. The second issue seems to be a manufacturer defect and possibly low quality materials but it poses a safety hazard to my family and needs to be corrected ASAP. So far, I am still waiting. I am also coming from a house that was very solidly built with a high degree of workmanship and high quality materials so it’s hard not to compare. I do love the floor plan we chose with Lennar. It could not be more perfect . I do hope my home will prove itself to be of good quality over the years and I hope Lennar proves themselves to be a quality builder in the long run. ... More

Buying experience was not like any I have expienced before. Communication was horrible. Loan requirements were ridiculous. Took forever to get loan approved and then rushed to close and got keys before home was entirely complete. Still working on the solar to complete process. Streets in front still have construction wear and damage and markings because I got a model home location so streets look old. Was not happy that quality of work is not a guarantee to upgrade shower heads and design of bathroom door in master bedroom is so difficult to close as it’s maybe an inch from toilet and no help with a fix. It was nice to have a new home but all the issues is not worth it for the high cost of the home ... More

We did the walk through and put blue tape. Looks like some of the tape was taken off with no repair done and some of the touch up (especially painting) was made worse by the sloppy work.

The homes are beautiful and the buying experience was really great. But after we moved in we found that there was a lot of attention to detail and uncompleted work. Good thing is that Lennar does react quickly to issues. I bought new instead of old home because I didn't want to deal with these types of issues.

Having been a Realtor in Florida and purchased well over 20 homes, I found the buying process to be cumbersome. Closing documents exceeded 250 pages, WOW. The number of pages I am accustomed to for a closing had been 20-30. I guess Lennar is doing their part for full employment in the areas they sell homes. Aside from all of the paperwork I have been very pleased with Lennar's follow through and workmanship in the building process.

Lenar is in it to turn over homes…it’s lost in the name. The workers who do as little as possible, the nails left after clean up, I’ll go so far as no integrity in workmanship… we paid for “luxury”. There is nothing luxurious about these homes especially the finished product. Location is wonderful…integrity is lost with these homes at closing

The money at least we can have floors that can be washed meaning to be able to use water

Having all options for building, financing, insurance, etc. all in-house makes the buying process less stressful. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and the Lennar team in general.

Buying process and moving in was smooth Unfortunately a week or two upon moving the dishwasher started leaking which cause a lot of damage on the surrounding cabinets and flooring. Lennar team was quick to assess the situation and provide solutions. However the new parts needed takes time to arrive so we dont have a kitchen for more than two weeks now. Hopefully once parts arrive it will be seamless process moving forward.

I really like my new house. Great quality home

Overall the experience was fantastic. The team was highly responsive during the initial process. I wish there was better communication during the final few weeks and that the blue tape walk was given more attention for the repairs as many things were left incomplete and required follow ups after. At this point the issues are resolved but it took quite a bit of work on my end for previously identified issues. That being said, the teams have been highly professional and the warranty team already has been great to work with. Overall I am satisfied and feel like this was a great purchase.

We love our home. The process was great with Lennar helping us through the process. Sometimes to many times redoing paperwork. Needs more windows in some areas but it's what it is. Wiring for garage door is to thin. I still don't get why they would not have a garage door opener included. We spend enough it should be. This area needs a whole house serge pertector we were told it had one. It doesn't. Laminate on floor is to thin. My dogs hate the grass. They do not like walking on it. It's like something hurts them. Ground needed to be compacted more where our grass is.sprinklers we should have a diagram of where they are located. ... More

Our Sales Representative was awesome. He was thorough, patient, and responsive. We looked at a mortgage loan, and our mortgage Representative was also outstanding. The process can seem annoying at times, but understandable. The home build has not been as stellar, and somewhat disappointing. Mudding, caulking, and paint priming has been the source of frustration. Cabinetry quality is satisfactory, at best. Still moving in.

I absolutely love my new condo at Ibis golf community. I am looking forward to the pool and other amenities being completed.

Good company that cuts corners to save costs, when they should focus on quality of life and family needs, as many people are willing to pay for better quality,

We bought our second home from Lennar and we love it. Very nice floor plan and design, great location and overall good experience. My only complaint is the kitchen countertop. It has some big stains form installation that we didn’t notice on the final walkthrough and looks like are not covered by their warranty. So make sure you check everything it’s covered and address all issues before buying.

I like my home but it has been a headache since first doing our walk through. I can’t believe that Lennar is okay with the condition of their homes when it is time to close. The house was dirty. Walls, floors, cabinets, windows all dirty. It has been 60 days and we still do not have grass. I want to plant flowers but unable to. I would not suggest Lennar home to others. My first new built home was Cambridge. They were so much better

We have recently moved into our our new Lennar home and have found issues we could not see during final walk through. Shower door leaks, feel the nail heads sticking up when walking barefoot on the carpets, unfinished flooring at the bottom of stairs, see sunlight coming through gaps in the attic walls, breaker keeps throwing off when several family members use electricity at same time, fire alarms going off randomly and lots of cracks in the front porch concrete that are not guaranteed with home warranty. The homes are beautiful but construction needs major upgrades in building these homes.

The buying experience seemed satisfactory at the beginning and until closing. However, once we moved into our new home at the Trails community in Carmel Mountain Ranch San Diego, we observed that the USPS letters were not getting delivered to our assigned mailbox. We learned that USPS has not yet installed the mailbox carrier locks and they didn't have a timeline for completing the corresponding work order. The mails will start getting delivered only after the mailbox carrier locks are installed. We contacted Lennar and to our surprise they just apologized, but showed no willingness to help resolve this issue. They just told that it is now a USPS issue, and they can’t do anything to help with this, and we would have to contact USPS over selves. Before buying, the Lennar new home consultant had assured us that they can't close escrow without setting up the mailbox and we will be receiving all our mails in the assigned mailbox itself once we move in. However, we were shocked to find out that the mailbox carrier locks are not installed yet and mails are not getting delivered in the mailbox. If Lennar had not concealed this important fact or about the potential possibility of mails not getting delivered to the mailbox by the time we move in, we would never have bought this home. This was of utmost importance to us before buying the home and we made sure to check with the new home consultant multiple times before buying the home, but now we are stuck since whatever the new home consultant promised turned out to be false. Currently we are struggling to get our mails, and we have to make regular trips to the USPS delivery location to pick-up. Most of the time, the mails are not available for pickup at the USPS delivery location on time and some seem to have got misplaced by USPS (we haven’t received few one-month-old mails yet). At one time, we found few letters lying at out front door, potentially dropped off by a resident of some other address where these got delivered incorrectly by USPS. In spite of multiple requests to Lennar representatives (viz. new home consultant, customer care representative, HOA etc.), they have shown no inclination to coordinate with USPS to help resolve this quickly. ... Overall the experience was good but I am having lots of challenges in getting driveway pavers replaces as the originals were defective. While someone came to partially replace some of the stones the coolers were completely different. Getting very little support from people I spoke with

When I request anything from Lennar, they are very responsive. When requesting something from third parties, like Edmonson, they are not as responsive. This was a first time contacting Edmonson, so they get a mulligan. But when you leave a message and a call back number, and no one calls back, that's a problem.
