This was a new experience for our family in two ways, moving out of state and moving into a townhome. Our agent, Gina did an excellent job communicating throughout the entire process. She went the extra mile and would take pictures of different phases during the building process and send to us. She was always willing to help!. We love the feature of the service request being online and the virtual piece of what needs to be done. The reps were very professional and quick at assessing any issue we may have had. This saves everyone time before someone comes out to fix anything. We have been very happy with all of the contractors too. Once we moved in Matt has also did a great job following up! As soon as a contractor would leave, he would call to make sure the item was taken care of. Dustin, who is Matt’s coworker has stopped by to check in periodically. We highly recommend you to check out Lennar if you are looking for a new home. If we decided to move again, we would definitely look at Lennar again and request Gina as our agent! Terrible communication throughout the purchase process. Then they tried to delay our closing 1 day before it was scheduled. Now, 2 months after closing, they refuse to provide any warranty service and just close your tickets without any response. Just a terrible company, if you are looking for a new home, look elsewhere. Run, dont walk, away from Lennar.

The Lennar team guided me throughout the process. Very helpful, and responsive to my questions. Overall a good house buying experience.

Gyorgi was amazing in helping us get into our hopefully last forever home here at Terra Bella Condominiums. The layout and the construction of our until is great. Doesn't feel like a condominium at all, feels like a single family home. Construction is well done. Any issues we had were taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend a Lennar home to anyone

Disappointing that for the price we paid, the issues that we’re seeing are so careless from the workers and some things are permanent and cannot be resolved.

I initially started working with one man he was no help helping me answer my questions. Meant with him twice before a purchased my home. Then he was gone. No one ever contacted me again. Tried to call and got no answer. Finally I drove up here to see what was going on and I was told he left the company. That was it. Finally I was told someone would contact me . No one did. I drove here again. Approximately 2 hour drive. This man in the office said he had a headache and couldn’t talk to me because he was going to lunch. I waited with my friend, another hour and a half when he returned. I walked in his office and said I just have a few questions about my contract. He grabbed my contract looked at what I had circled threw it at me, tearing it and said go home and read it again. My friend and I were in shock! I had just spent over 6 hundred thousand dollars and I was treated this badly. I went to a lawyer to get out of the contract but was told I was stuck! I was so terrified I had made the biggest mistake of my life. Nothing changed until I finally got word the home was finally ready. I had been assigned a new rep and she answered my calls . After I moved in the cooperation was unbelievably better. My girl assigned to fix the things that had to be changed were handled so well and the people were so friendly and supportive and followed through beautifully. The whole Lennar team has been great! LOVE the house and the Community is wonderful. Have already recommended Lennar to several friends.

Paid top dollar for a home that was seven months later than promised and not top notch in the least. Had to get Lennar leaders involved. Subcontractors are lacking. Finally got a new construction manager who is doing his best to fix all the issues, but you don't get what you pay for. Pool and community areas are likely another year before complete if we are lucky. Still get to pay HOA fees. A lot of over promising and under delivering.

We picked a Lennar home because after looking at all of the builders in our area (and there were a lot!) We loved that Lennar's homes include everything and have a more upgraded feel to them. However, since living in the home, we do feel the actual quality is lower than our last home we lived in. We've had multiple cracks in the baseboards, some little issues with the towel racks and faucets and just a handful of small things that are a bother considering how expensive homes are and considering we thought Lennar was the best after looking into many builders. The good news is, the warranty has been VERY good to work with! They are quick to respond and easy to work with. Super kind and considerate. After our 3rd party inspection the construction super assured us all of the items would be addressed by closing inspection. Half were not. It took weeks for him to address the deficiencies after closing. I had to contact him multiple times to have the repairs addressed. One item is a tilted roof vent. The construction inspector contacted the roofing company and they said, "It is good enough." I expected Lennar to hold their contractors responsible for quality workmanship and fight for the home buyer. They did not. Every time I pull in the driveway I see the tilted the roof vent and it makes me frustrated with Lennar for how they handled it. ... More

Day two our downs stairs bathroom , bedroom filled with raw sewage due to a sewage valve installed backwards, for the last 7 weeks we've been dealing with repairs which has been horrible. Quality of work is below standard, poor communication from all all stress of repairs have been placed on my wife which is ridicules. All that has been fixed now we're dealing with an upstairs bedroom flooring issue floor has a low spot which somehow was missed on inspection and our dryer vent was stuccoed shut cayseubg out dryer not to work and no one has fixed because apparently it's not a big deal. The home buying was amazing but since then you call or email and it's no response at all, very frustrating, to many issues afterwards to write, just not very happy

Everything is okay, the home is beautiful.

When we walked the development before choosing Lennar we looked at lots, and noticed construction development and home quality. One thing we noticed is all the homes had Carrier heat pumps. When we came down to walk for inspection we were given a different brand of heat pump. Lennar has now gone back to Carrier for the remaining 15 lots in the neighborhood. There are 2 lots with the cheaper brand heat pump ours and one other out of 90 homes. When we spoke to the sales team we were told the contract language allows them to use different vendors. They are right that is what the contract states, but there is an expected level of quality if 85% of the homes have one brand and then only 2 have a cheaper brand. We were told there was nothing they could do and no financial compensation was offered. This is called bait and switch! Lennar will NEVER get a recommendation from me to any family or friends. I would have NO problem if half the homes had one brand and half had another, especially with supply chain issues still in construction industry, but that is not the case. I guess saving $1,500 each on two lots means more than their reputation. I also called out the facia around the exterior that needs repair, the patch at the dining room ceiling drywall that is not correct, the shoe molding that has never been completed at the cabinets, and the garage entrance lock that wont work. We have gotten NO response. The difference between response before closing and after they get your money is a very sad business model. They are not the worst built homes in Baldwin County, but beware of bait and switch. ... More

Repairs take too long. Have to wait for workers to arrive. Disrupts the day waiting on workers when you have things to do.

Our process was overall good. The only issue we encountered was electronic. Though we could contact a person, we like talking to a person during the building (financial) process. Our personal contact, Donna was great!

I felt rushed during the initial and final walkthrough, and was disappointed at how much blue tapping was still needed on the day of closing.

From day one we fell in love with the LENNAR home. We did have some issues with our buying experience, but overall, everything turned out great. I will tell you the best part of our experience with LENNAR is our experience being helped by Baltazar Garcia, LENNAR Construction Supervisor. He has been with us every step of the way to include assisting us with things outside of the construction realm. Mr. Garcia is very knowledgeable, professional, and has answered every one of our calls anytime we needed any question answered. To be quite honest, he seemed to be the backbone of LENNAR.

Very smooth and well organized throughout the buying process.

Very poor craftsmanship.A few things already broke and we've only been in a little over a month. They stated that certain repairs had been done when they didn't. Poor materials used. Very poor roof craftsmanship. At closing they only gave us an envelope with a few papers instead of a full packet with copies of everything. 2 months in and we still don't know how to pay our HOA. No one ever informed us. Their new home orientation process is horrible. They don't do blue tape, instead they have to take pictures of everything which takes forever. Overall just not a pleasant experience.

The purchasing of the home went relatively smooth. The home itself is what we expected as far as quality goes. We were a little disappointed that they were not flexible at all on anything we wanted to change no matter how minor it was. We were very happy dealing with Devon during Construction, but the warranty has been very nonresponsive and get no call backs. Who knows when things will get fixed.

There were a few items that did not appear to be installed correctly when we moved into our home. However, Lennar customer service is probably the best we experienced. Their reps are very polite, responsive and professional taking care of any little detail that comes up.

The process of buying the home was okay. We waited for about 45mins in a room after signing for the keys, then they came in with music and congratulated us. Handed the keys over and we left. After that it hasn’t been great. We’ve had issue after issue in the home and each time it seems as though we’re just a problem when trying to get it fixed. No one seems to truly care about helping. We had a roof leak 4 days after we moved in due to the roof being INCOMPLETE. It happened on a Friday and they refused to send anyone out until Monday. But to back up, the “emergency” phone # given on the QR code we were given to scan for help, doesn’t work. The phone number sends you to an automated line and then says we need a “telephony code” to put in. Had to end up calling the normal customer service line. Anyway, We live in Florida. It rains almost daily during the summer so not sending someone out for 3 days for a roof leak after calling the “emergency” line is baffling to me…. I also have a baby in the house so I am terrified of that causing mold issues down the road. Took over 3 weeks to get it all complete. Our dishwasher went out after two uses. Called Lennar to ask for help. Was just brushed off and told to call GE. Our irrigation system was left on to run FOUR times a day, we were told in our new home orientation it would be changed and set up differently before we came back to move in after closing. That obviously didn’t happen and we had no idea until we received an $820 water bill. So that’s WONDERFUL. AC went out less than a month after moving it. It’s over 90 degrees outside. Called the “emergency” line again, of course still doesn’t work. Called the normal CS # was told it would be passed onto the emergency after hours teak since it was 86 degrees in our house … again with a baby. No one called that night. Called the next day. The first set of people who came out to look at it just said “wow it’s hot in here..” couldn’t find the issue. Said it was too hot to go in the attic and check the insulation and ducts and left. The next guy they send out was supposed to arrive between 1-4pm. Showed up at 9:45pm. Found the issue and had to order a part. Came back after a few days and fixed it. Took over a week for this to be fixed in the middle of summer in Florida. Finding a hard time understanding the point of this emergency line. We have a patch of sod completely missing from our yard. Was told at new home orientation it would be taken care of. We repeatedly ask what’s going on with it and get no response other than “I’ll talk to the construction manager” Our paint touch ups they came back and did… they used the wrong color on the exterior so we have patches of WHITE paint all over the front of our home. So it’s just been one thing after another. Filed a complaint with the BBB and Lennar responded stating they opened a case with management at the corporate office. Haven’t heard a thing since. It’s safe to say I wouldn’t recommend a Lennar new build to anyone at this point. It’s our first home and we were so excited to have this for our little family and it’s been pretty disappointing to say the least. ... More
