Overall good value for new home construction in Myrtle Beach. Construction managers were all very nice and responsive. They kept us updated on construction progress, and we attended the pre-drywall meeting (definitely recommend everyone doing this). My biggest issue (and in speaking with our neighbors it is the same) is the final finishes. Drywall final skim and sand not so great, so any undulations and repairs they made are still visible. Trim and 1/4 round is some areas was not installed with pride in craftmanship. I know some builders have a "finishing team" that comes in a few days before closing to address some of these issues, but it doesn't appear that Lennar does this. And if they do, maybe they missed our house and few others on the street. Also, I wish they offered certain upgrades that we could have paid for (ie. chef's kitchen, double wall oven, flooring upgrades), but Lennar does not allow this. We HIGHLY recommend that you do NOT try and go with the insurance agency that Lennar recommend. Lennar Insurance Agency. They were rude, would not return texts or phone calls and would not insure us unless we paid for a full home inspection even though if was a brand new build and we found this out on the day that we closed. So We were without insurance for a few days because we had to find a local insurance agent (we are not from the area so we had NO idea where to get I insurance) We did enjoy working with our rep that sold us the house.

Quality is very poor. finishes are substandard just and cheap. No pride in workmanship. Damages hidden and not even an even coat of paint.

In today’s world can’t really complain how house was built. I’ve seen garbage from high end builders and vice versa so they did a fine job. Only major complaint is lack of customization options. Basically getting the exact model home. Paint colors, moldings, finishes, etc. would really cut down on future work and added cost.

Lennar was not will to add a 220 drop for my electric car even though the house had not been drywalled. The quality of the workmanship was not good. My garage door was not properly adjusted. I called them, but no response. The paint is contractor grade flat. That is not more than colored water. There are significant gaps at the bottom of door frames. These should have been caulked. One of my blinds is broken. Called, but no response.

I had a house from Lennar in Tampa that the construction, finishes and the features were top. Came to Myrtle Beach expecting the same…..what a disappointment. The quality of the work and the finishes are probably the most cheapest. The lights, rugs, paint, cabinets. Bathroom……the worst quality. I had an issue with the grading of my soil prior to closing and the Construction Manager indicated that it was due to rain. A month and a half passed by and the area did not improve. Worked with the warranty department and they involved others to solve my issue. As of today the issue has not been solved. Lennar have a beautiful homes and it is so very big, spacious for the price they. They have professional team to work with entire process.

It. Has been a disappointing experience from sales, orientation, communication, follow through to correct. deficiencies in the house a landscaping. . I am guessing you have too few staff to provide the qualities you promise. The delays in getting to closing I.e. simple repairs and/or replacements made it extremely costly and frustrating arranging shipping, transport etc all of which was easily easiily solveable.

Excellent attention to the client. And was always available through the buying process!!

I was afraid and still because all bad comments about Lennar, to be honest the home is fine and they let me know what is cover for Warranties and what no, I found nice People in all process, the findings and few claims were attenden very fast, I dont have mayor issues with my home and I receive all the said, the only think is that the neightboard still in construction and Looks like Lennar is not give us all ammenities or parks they promise, it chanched with the time, in general my experience was and still fine, Im in my first year with warranty and I dont have claims opened. pay your inspecction it helps a lot.... ... My experience was good and everything worked out great at the end.

Overall we were not happy at all. Lennar is a bottom line driven company with little or no concern for customer satisfaction. We would never build another Lennar home.

What can I say my second purchase from Lennar really enjoy my home and the parks,neighborhood that why I bought in the area again

Very good experience and easy going process

We bought the model home and it was listed with a pool heater for hot tub and pool. No heater! It’s been two months since we closed. No garage door openers, ceiling fan and light and living room still doesn’t work! Stove good has lights falling out, landscape is old dirty and dying, this is not acceptable. Unhappy customer for sure!

While there were some minor issues that needed to be addressed after move-in (which is to be expected with a new build), Lennar has been extremely responsive and timely in fixing these issues. The customer service is fantastic, and Lennar has made it easy to contact them when needed.

Worst sales team experience i have ever had.

Learning experience and for the most part a good one.

Overall, I am happy with Lennar. The house design is great and the materials used seem to be higher quality. My biggest complaints is I wish they did a better job of leveling out the lots so houses weren’t on such a hill. Some parts of our flooring isn’t even and is quite noticeable. The thickness of the walls isn’t great. It is easy to hear through them. The fact they provided a great interest rate is really what sold us. As of right now (considering we have only had the house over a month), I would recommend to a friend or family member and would buy a Lennar again.

Home bugging and lot selections were all quick and easy to understand. We received brief updates and pictures on a weekly basis. Constructing prices was quicker than usual. Closing was easy. For anyone choosing to build, Please inspect carefully. Materials may not be the best of quality nor sturdy.

I wanted to take this time to acknowledge my building manager, Barry, who assisted me throughout the process of the construction of my home. Barry kept in contact with me from the point of contract and throughout the entire construction process of my home. He was very attentive to every question I asked and answered in a professional manner. Barry walked me through every step during my first and second walk-through Before closing on my home. In Closing, I want to thank Barry for everything He has done to assist me throughout the construction process of my home. He was attentive to quality work performed by the construction crew and made corrections when needed. Barry went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process and transition to close on my home. Going through the loan application process was horrible. Very unfriendly to people without a realtor. Rude and not helpful or responsive to questions. Given no information on this community on how to handle utilities, HOA etc. Person doing the house walkthrough gave misinformation multiple times on how to do things. I was told by two different people that they get me a list of paint used on home, nothing. Overall it was not a good experience.

I chose Lennar because of their reputation and floorplan. I am however disappointed in some of the workmanship that is sloppy. Their customer service department is unapproachable except by email. There is no one who could answer a quick question or refer a client to documentation regarding an issue.
