Everyone from Lennar was very nice. All the way from the mortgage to Move-in day. I just have an issues with the sub-contractors.

The process was very long and tedious. If it were not for Christina Z and Jonathon C, guiding me through the process I may have not gone through with the purchase. If you are looking for a Lennar home, you would be extremely lucky to have Christina Z, she is outstanding.

Love the home. The people that I have been in contact have been very nice. The people that have come in and done Repairs have been very professional and have done a nice job. However, I have been disappointed with the amount of things that have been needed for the home. Many missing items and many things that needed to be repaired. I have built two homes before this one and they only needed a fraction of the things that I have needed so far. The guys seem to feel very stressed and pushed for production and there seems to be some missing quality care in that. I love the fact that EVERYTHING was included.

Being in the construction field of work, I’ve heard plenty of things about Lennar and a majority of big name builders. As well as knowing other Lennar home owners. Needless to say, my expectations were not too high. I went into this whole process with caution and with plenty of questions and concerns. I was surprised at how easy it was to purchase my home even without a realtor. I had no trouble getting my questions answered promptly. Whenever any concerns came up on the few reviews I made, I was contacted by a manager that would confront the issue first hand and they quickly resolved them. First time seeing the home I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship. Although there was a lot of fixes needed to be made they were small, picky things. They fixed them all with no complaints. The materials of the townhome are cheap, but at the price I paid at the time, I expected no more. Now it’s been a month or so and I’ve already contacted customer service about a couple workmanship issues that showed up. They’ve been off and on about promptly fixing issues after the purchase. After talking to another manager I’m hoping the consistency improves. Service and warranty fixes are usually the biggest complaints I seen about these new homes so I’m hoping they prove me wrong. Only time will tell if I can fully recommend others buy a new home from Lennar. So far so good, but proceed at your own risk. ... More

Loan officer was unresponsive, unhelpful, and didn't seem to know his job very well. After sell, he wouldn't respond anymore. Post settlement, my loan was immediately sold off, even though I paid it off in 3 weeks, it's taken me over a month to get it finalized, and still working on closing it out. Calling the mortgage number will guarantee you a 30-45min wait time every time. Other issues: House shown had more features than house purchased, master shower didn't even have a door in purchased home. Lennar recommended me to the contractor they used to do the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. Cost me $620 (even though I paid over $3k in "upgrades"), and contractor told us it was even a surprise to them, since they had about 50 extra doors that they purchased to do our house and the rest in our area. Warranty person doesn't answer texts after the purchase of home. pros: Building manager has been responsive, as well as the realtor we had on the Lennar side has been very helpful, even post settlement. ... My experience has been overall positive and I’m happy with my home. I’ve had other builder experiences with past homes and Lennar has been above those. They strive to ensure you’re happy and I was impressed with my closing to an extent. They made some minor adjustments day of closing to my cabinet that was too low for my fridge. Several jobs were not completed in which I was promised completion after closing for which no one came back. For the most part, I’m satisfied with my purchase and going with Lennar as I’ve found the craftsmanship for my neighborhood was above others in the area. I purchased in Carnes Crossroads in Summerville, SC and the neighborhood stands out as one of the top locations for the area. My realtor did a great job helping me keep the contractor on schedule and ensuring most items were completed prior to closing. My recommendation would be not to fall to the peer pressure of closing with items left to do. They will drop you like a bad habit once you close so be ready for that. ... More

Overall is good except walkthrough too fast, person going through walkthrough is too fast and not allowed enough time for buyer to understand.

A lot of back and forth with the clubs and attorneys. I don't think that there's a good job at all communicating.

Employees of Lennar have been great to work with. Lennar's opportunity is to use some better quality when it comes to door and trimming out the home. Need more attention given to detail.

Overall experience was good, the workmanship of the house isn’t the best. I understand you are only as good as your contractors and sub-contractors. But I really wish they had higher standards to building a home. From the concrete work, to other parts of the house it’s just put together cheaply. You spend your hard earned money and hoping that nothing breaks because barely anything is under actual warranty. Like I said overall experience is good but the quality of the home and workmanship is subpar at best.

The landscaping was not well done even after repeated requests. Also the drain leaked just 5 days after we moved in due to the negligence during construction.

Overall we are happy with the purchase of our Lennar Home. I’ve noticed there are minor things that are somewhat of an annoyance when it comes to the quality of work performed- not square walls, minor imperfections throughout the home. Watching the houses go up around us in the neighborhood it makes sense because it’s happening so quickly. However, all issues are very minor and we are truly happy with our purchase. No regrets here and would recommend Lennar to friends and family!

In General we got very good relations starting with the first visit with Mr Kevin, through signing contract , inspection with Mr rick and Miss Brittany. All was fine throughout the closing. Your people did very good job. Thank you and congratulations

We were excited to move into our new home only to find several issues needing to be resolved. Although there has been response to issues there did not see to be a sense of urgency. It seemed to be more of a "we have more homes to build so we'll get to you". Recommend Lennar hire more help to oversee construction as it is happening and not subject homeowners to seek "after close" resolutions to issues that should have been corrected before closing. These are $500k plus properties and should be afforded better attention to detail.

We had a great consultant when we were serious about look that showed all the options and was very upfront about everything from the beginning and did a great job at keeping us posted as it was built. Overall price for a brand new house…. It’s great. You can tell that they are mass produced for some of the rushed jobs and less than average quality on some things, but that’s gonna happen with mass produced homes. With a good final walkthrough and private inspection, they will take care of the touch ups and things noted. There have been a few minor things since we moved in. Some of them have been handled quick and some we have no idea where they are at with coming to fix it. They don’t seal the granite and grout so be prepared to do some finishing on that. Appliances are decent, mid level appliances. Overall for what you get with the brand new house and the warranties, it’s a great deal and totally worth it. Would do it again. Just be prepared to thoroughly inspect, and be persistent if there is something not right or needs fixing. Need to advocate for self but Lennar has been pleasant to work with. ... More

I felt like the buying process overall was fairly smooth, but I more so had issues with the quality of work and how many things needed to be fixed. For a new home, it was surprising how many initial issues we had. I felt like they rushed some of the work. For example, there were paint marks everywhere on the floors and door handles. Some of the materials felt cheap including our floor and the interior doors. I will give Lennar credit for coming to fix everything, but just surprised at the amount of issues for the amount we paid. Its an amazing neighborhood so can't complain about the area.

We worked remotely with the builder and a local realtor. The overall selling process was smooth. Our questions were answered in a timely manner. The workmanship and timeliness of addressing post-occupancy issues could be improved. Communication between the builder and the owner could also be better. There is still a bit of confusion as to who is responsible for what after the closing. Is it the builder or HOA?

Leah was our sales rep and She was absolutely amazing! She always updated us with any new information and always answered any questions we had throughout the purchasing process. One of the negative things was that the closing kept getting delayed, but I understand its something that happens a lot in new construction and it’s something Leah warned us about. I would say that the main thing that I’m disappointed with is just getting items fixed in a timely manner with the builders warranty. Still waiting on several items that I submitted weeks ago. Overall it was a good purchasing experience but I will recommend they have a better system scheduling warranty issues after closing. ... More

Beautiful home. A lot of issues more related to the contractors than the builder

Many things told such as gated community, golf cart friendly fans in all rooms and water views not happening They say they did not promise it their salespeople did.

Love the home Quality of workmanship is average at best Lots of issues that are from workers not caring about quality Of work .there cars are ruining the new streets oil leaking personal vehicles running machines gouging up the blacktop. And they don’t care. Extremely sloppy. .cement work very very poor.even the side walks.huge globs of cement in the middle of sidewalks your building a beautiful new community there ruining roads before we get to use them…workers very sloppy during construction doesn’t take Much effort to work neatly.gives a better impression when people are Looking at newly constructed homes.lots of siding issues from lack of effort.u shouldn’t be installing it crooked ,like badly crooked they even put a window in the wrong spot..shower tile sloppy.drain appears to not be correct sloppy tile cuts .plenty more .great house for the price some training for workers might help .anyone I’ve called about issues has been very nice. that was nice. ... Quality of material and workmanship are good. However, final checks require improvement. Few examples: Entrance door was missing screws. Garage floor has paint and lots of dust. For every ticket (for issues), I submit, I am required to submit virtual session, enable video to capture the details. While the owner is in the process of move (packing, moving, un-packing, setup utilities..etc), it is extremely difficult to cater time for a virtual sessions + schedule repairs..etc. Instead of virtual sessions, I suggest enhancing your issue submission application to allow capturing the picture or video or both and submit. If you have enough information, this will eliminate virtual sessions. Also allow owners to update the ticket if the status changes - I mean if the issue got resolved or they managed to fix it or managed to get some help to fix it..etc Also use the issues information (wealth of knowledge) to take proactive action - I mean alert owners to check few things (check list within the 1 or 2 months of move-in) and report if there are any issues, before they report. Over all we are very happy with Lennar, The only thing is there are some issues in our home which were reported and it got fixed latter,
