Need help with new home repairs

Jason and Maria were definitely a pleasure to work with Carlos also was very professional all of them are valuable assets to lennar I'm definitely recommending lennar to people I know I think the HOA fee is way over priced and should be lowered a few people I tried to refer to said no to the offer simply because of the HOA fee

Found missing paint places and quality of workmanship not the best.

Great Sales Consultant Brian, answered questions by email, text, or phone. Ryan, mortgage officer and loan processor gave satisfactory service, the loan process was overwhelming with documents, turnaround time, and zoom loan closing,website had hiccups, the quality assurance person for walkthrough was awesome! The warranty specialist Miema has also been great, addressing needs w electrical system and paint repairs.

I’m glad we came with an experience and knowledgeable realtor. Please review your paperwork and make sure your loan officer communicates with you where you understand the closing documents. Overall I would say it’s 4/5 for me.

Same as above and when I called to ask a question I was referred to the supplier not Lennar to handle.

Lennard is a huge builder and continue to I grow, good job! I applaud them for providing affordable homes to the nation! Where I live, there is plenty of land, yet the homes were build less than 8 feet apart! Why? May be the more together the homes are is better, just like apartments! Great job and very fast building!

I would write more words in a review, but Lennar did nothing special or out of the ordinary for me so there’s no reason for me to give them any further review. They built a home and I paid for it. Thats pretty much it.

Lots of paint splatters. Windows were filthy…..never cleaned after installation. Construction debris at the end of the street has never been cleaned up. Positives….. quality flooring. Clean installation of furnace and water heater. Masonry work looks good. Appliances are above average. Closing was seamless Suggestions to make it better. Use screws for Sheetrock instead of nails to eliminate nail pops. Don’t use FLAT paint. Satin would improve the look and cleaning substantially. Do a better job of cleaning prior to someone moving in such as paint splatters and eliminating the Sheetrock dust from the tile floors. Don’t close any of the interior doors after painting….. several had marks where the door had stuck to the jam and then opened, removing some paint. ... More

I feel that Lennar did many things cheaply and cut corners for instance, having a three car garage with two lightbulbs is ridiculous and only a couple of outlets. They use the bare minimum of insulation in the ceiling of the garage and stopped at where the bedrooms are over the garage. The thing that got me the most was I was told I had to seal the grout myself behind the stove and oven because they no longer seal grout? But on the other hand, there are many things that I do like that Lennar does such as the landscaping and the Irrigation system so I’m not gonna sit and complain about everything but the little things the cheapness bother me for instance there is no laundry room sink and if you want to paint anything, you either have to go outside to wash your paint trays or you have to do it in your kitchen sink ... Very good value and staff

Started out with their broker lender an agent ended up, finding my own on the side to get a better deal even with the incentives they were offering. Personally, I am very pleased that I got a private Inspector because there was a lot of serious issues that were overlooked at the construction inspection. Still dealing with issues after moving on a list that I have for my 11 month inspection, including drywall, not being properly done baseboards with cracks wood frames with big gases, and then siding not properly placed and lifts, and a strong wind. Inside the downstairs floor there is literally drywall squares all over the ceiling that we didn’t notice until we put proper lighting inside the house. ... More

I knew going in that there was no customization. That should be known up front as you cannot pay more to add or change something. The quality of the workmanship and materials is a little less than I expected for the price tag of over 400k as we've had a number of defect issues. The responsiveness of their quality team is excellent, though, and everything is being fixed promptly. They are way behind on getting things like lawns and sidewalks in. We closed about 6 weeks before having any landscaping whatsoever, so be ready for a bit of a wait there, and a large patch of the sod was put down already dead, so that's going to have to be fixed as well. ... Overall this home is very well built. Good trades did the work. Floor plan is wonderful (Paris). Landscaping is really nice. Grass is thick and healthy. We are in exactly the type of lot we wanted with a pond and a generous back yard. It’s big my first new house so I know there are hiccups and expect to work through them to success. Finishes are average in Lennar homes. Quartz countertops are thin. The back half of two counters is not polished - it’s still rough. I’ve put in a request to repair. Joints are not tight in molding but have been caulked at my request. By final walk through minor things were well repaired. But…..it’s hard to get support through the app and though some support has been excellent the need to rely on a difficult website is disappointing. Manager and web interface help is great. Major disappointments: pavers in driveway and edge of walk way are collapsed and bricks crumbling with normal activity. Back screen door only closes half way and it was once fixed. Cabinets are cheap and door closures flimsy. Paint inside is watered down, flat and chalky. I understand the need to spray everything requires thinning the paint. But this is very thin. On the “good list”: Tile and floor work is excellent. Walls are square and even. Ceiling texture is great. We love the house and we have great neighbors. ... More

Not exactly sure about the quality of workmanship. I found things that should have been done differently. Some paint, wood material that should have been changed out or turns another way. Flower beds are crowded. Way too many plants. Just odds and ends. Little things that add up. 90% are too small to call and have fixed. I did them myself

Buying experience was not like any I have expienced before. Communication was horrible. Loan requirements were ridiculous. Took forever to get loan approved and then rushed to close and got keys before home was entirely complete. Still working on the solar to complete process. Streets in front still have construction wear and damage and markings because I got a model home location so streets look old. Was not happy that quality of work is not a guarantee to upgrade shower heads and design of bathroom door in master bedroom is so difficult to close as it’s maybe an inch from toilet and no help with a fix. It was nice to have a new home but all the issues is not worth it for the high cost of the home ... More

Having been a Realtor in Florida and purchased well over 20 homes, I found the buying process to be cumbersome. Closing documents exceeded 250 pages, WOW. The number of pages I am accustomed to for a closing had been 20-30. I guess Lennar is doing their part for full employment in the areas they sell homes. Aside from all of the paperwork I have been very pleased with Lennar's follow through and workmanship in the building process.

Buying process and moving in was smooth Unfortunately a week or two upon moving the dishwasher started leaking which cause a lot of damage on the surrounding cabinets and flooring. Lennar team was quick to assess the situation and provide solutions. However the new parts needed takes time to arrive so we dont have a kitchen for more than two weeks now. Hopefully once parts arrive it will be seamless process moving forward.

Our Sales Representative was awesome. He was thorough, patient, and responsive. We looked at a mortgage loan, and our mortgage Representative was also outstanding. The process can seem annoying at times, but understandable. The home build has not been as stellar, and somewhat disappointing. Mudding, caulking, and paint priming has been the source of frustration. Cabinetry quality is satisfactory, at best. Still moving in.

I absolutely love my new condo at Ibis golf community. I am looking forward to the pool and other amenities being completed.

We bought our second home from Lennar and we love it. Very nice floor plan and design, great location and overall good experience. My only complaint is the kitchen countertop. It has some big stains form installation that we didn’t notice on the final walkthrough and looks like are not covered by their warranty. So make sure you check everything it’s covered and address all issues before buying.
