Blake, the contractor was great to work with

I do wish during the walk-through we were given a list of things to remember and do when moving into the house. When we are doing the walk-through, and we are being told all these things we need to remember, let’s be serious we are barely going to remember every single detail that’s being told to us all at once. A list of to do items & need to know items is very important and I wish that was provided. There is also things around the condo that needed to be done prior to escrow closing unfortunately some of those items were not done but I was told it would be done after closing however, I am still waiting for them to be done and I have no idea what I need to do to make sure it gets done. There’s lots of little things that are not done properly I would say, if that’s the correct word like paint splatter on my floors, paint splatter on my balcony door frame, multiple little things like that. For the price I paid and for it being a new condo, I would expect it to be nicely done. I do also wish the master room closet was bigger, I feel like the guest room closet is bigger. ... More

I had good experience with Lennar throughout the process

If I had to do it over again I would not buy a lennar home. After moving in There were many things the Builder overlooked. For instance, The builder over looked many times. After closing now going on are Third month still waiting on windows to be replaced above the garage. That the builder knew was wrong. Just one of the things that were not right.

Overall good except that I still waiting for Quantum to come and fix my fibre wire that some contractor cut it off.

The underwriting process was a complete mess. My close date had to be moved because of this. The underwriter and processor were so difficult to work with, I got approved a day before closing. The processor would not answer calls or emails and would keep requesting for the same document even though it had been uploaded multiple times. She would not call to clarify or nothing. The people in the office gave me a hard time, they were no help in getting the mail key and kept referring me to usps. I had to report the matter to higher ups to get the mail box issue fixed. Since moving in, I have had terrible red ant issues, the house is not properly sealed and red ants be coming in the house through the cracks in the wall/foundation. I have had to get pest control to come spray the house exterior and interior. The back of the gas burner had a massive hole that was not properly sealed and this was another entry for ants. The baseboards were not properly sealed too and ants were coming out of baseboard/trims and I had to seal them myself. I can imagine the amount of damages the ants will do behind the trim. Going through the new-construction-home-buying experience w/ Lennar was very easy. They made uploading the documents simple and they were very efficient. I’m happy w/ the whole process and very happy living in my new townhouse. It was perfect for me at this point in my life having raised two children, now adults. Highly recommend using Lennar.

Very honest people to work with and reasonably priced

This is our 3rd new build. Buying a home can be very overwhelming. Unfortunately we haven’t had the best experiences in the past. Would like to give Tom a great review for being responsive and professional. It’s nice to know you can reach out when needed.

Lennar gives you more for the money. They included the blinds, refrigerator, and surprised us with a washer and dryer. Other home builders do not do this. The overall experience was great.

We had nothing but good experiences with Lennar. From sales to closing felt like everyone worked as one team to get us across the finish line

This our 3rd time buying a home, 2nd time buying a new build. We had to extend the closing date three times because the home wasnt finished. We did a walk-through before closing and gave a list to the builder of all the things that needed fixing. Some were cosmetic, but some were big deals such as the sofit was missing by the front door, the outside of the house needed to be painted (still gray with stucco), and the some doors didnt have hinges or locks. Nothing was fixed before closing and we were told someone would come during our first week. No one came for almost a month and only took care of the cosmetic things (re-caulking, etc). They then said since i already closed, everything else needed to be requested under the warranty because they need to prioritize finishing the other units. Where was that work ethic when it came to finishing my home? Ive since submitted the request via warranty and theyre getting fixed slowly but surely. ... More

Lennar made this experience an amazing one, from working with the agent to securing the mortgage to the orientation to the move in and beyond! I couldn't be happier in my new home!

Overall we are very happy with our home and the community! The largest complaint we have is the workmanship. Attention to detail has been lost for sure. Landscaping and concrete work has been terrible and an ongoing headache. The money Lennar saved with low bid has cost us huge in time spent managing repairs, not to mention the work I have to go back and redo. Lennar, please start taking pride in your own product and ensure quality work is done ahead of time.

Was a horrible experience, no communication whatsoever at any moment and builder was horrible

All okay, not happy or satisfied I would say okay

Throughout the whole process, they were threats of taking the house. They were just extortion of making us pay more money just because they felt like it forcing us to use their lender even though their lender would never respond to me sometimes at all or I will take four or five days. The sales rep was very short and disrespectful. All around a horrible customer service. They acted as if we did not matter and if something didn’t work out, they could just sell it to somebody else. They didn’t want to help us work through any issues. I just wanted to try to take the house from us.

The financial team was not aware of the new VA loan process. My processor did not communicate with me until 30 days before closing. I started my home buying process in August of 2022. I did not speak with her until late April early May 2023. I eventually had to use outside lenders and obtain legal counsel to close on my home. This process was horrible.

Will never buy another subpar product from Lennar. Poor quality, poor construction, poor execution. Don’t fall for the trick that everything will be fixed post closing. Walk away or trust me don’t get involved in this fiasco. Talked with 3 neighbors who experienced the same issues. This is just plain poor business practice and flat our wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company; wish I did.

Terrible experience. We pushed to close on a house that was not finished and poorly constructed. We still have extensive damage that needs to be repaired.

This review is after 8 weeks of closing. Price is for the Lennar brand and I don't feel it's worth it. Pros: House Plans, Community, Location, decent customer service team Cons: Subpar Workmanship & Quality during the construction process. Poor finishing of concrete on the front porch and screened porch. Hole in the driveway exposing clay within a month of moving. Poor quality of LVP causing chips/dents. The dishwasher broke on 2nd week. Inadequate disclosure during sales by the sales agent and the agent goes AWOL after the purchase. Uneven flooring causes wide gaps between the floor and trim. Improper positioning of lights and switches. The cleanliness of the house and surrounding was below expectations before delivery. Punch items dispute and resolution with the construction manager was a hassle and still items were left out. Items on the plan were not delivered despite it being on the model home. ... More

My construction manager was the BEST I have worked with and this is my 18 New home since 1989!! She handled ever issue of preparing my home for closing extremely professionalism, expertise and empathy!!!! I can’t thank her enough! Working with Taylor and Jeff T. during the construction process was very smooth. They were quick to answer any questions and help us through the building process. Also Jeff C. with the Customer Care team has been following up on the few items that have come up since moving in. Would highly recommend Lennar!!

I wasn't here for the repair work, but my parents were. They told me the workers were very nice and professional.
