I was really excited to buy my first ever home but after the experience I’ve had with LENNAR I would have chosen differently. The experience I had with the mortgage team started off very rough and I experienced very poor communication and errors with the loan officer. I wanted to get a new home expecting that I would not have many issues however since moving in, that’s all I’ve had. Not to mention the cleanliness of the home upon move in was just unacceptable. I have spent days on my hands and knees scrubbing floors clean and covering many holes where caulking was missing to avoid pests. I would not buy LENNAR again nor would I recommend them. The positive thing about LENNAR is that they take the warranty claims seriously and they reach out pretty quickly to get things resolved. Being in the construction field of work, I’ve heard plenty of things about Lennar and a majority of big name builders. As well as knowing other Lennar home owners. Needless to say, my expectations were not too high. I went into this whole process with caution and with plenty of questions and concerns. I was surprised at how easy it was to purchase my home even without a realtor. I had no trouble getting my questions answered promptly. Whenever any concerns came up on the few reviews I made, I was contacted by a manager that would confront the issue first hand and they quickly resolved them. First time seeing the home I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship. Although there was a lot of fixes needed to be made they were small, picky things. They fixed them all with no complaints. The materials of the townhome are cheap, but at the price I paid at the time, I expected no more. Now it’s been a month or so and I’ve already contacted customer service about a couple workmanship issues that showed up. They’ve been off and on about promptly fixing issues after the purchase. After talking to another manager I’m hoping the consistency improves. Service and warranty fixes are usually the biggest complaints I seen about these new homes so I’m hoping they prove me wrong. Lennar has been great throughout the homebuying experience. As a builder, the structure and materials used in building the home were great. There are some cosmetic things that you will probably want to change but they have don't a great design with design features, options, and color scheme. The Project Manager and Customer Support team have always been responsive and helpful. The staff takes pride in what they do. Overall, great experience.

The entire process was easier than I had anticipated. The only part that was frustrating was the request for verification. Many times I would send in what was requested as they were requested and I would be asked to send it in again and again!

Very stressful experience with the loan process and asked to supply documents over and over making for a long process. Photos showed cabinets in laundry room but they don’t put them in. Poor communication with Lennar on everything.

Poor quality material, I requested a paper copy of the HOA bylaws, I was told by the HOA that LENNAR Title should provide that to me. Traci ignored all my calls regarding that. When I purchased my home from first Texas the HOA package was given to me on the day of closing. Money ain’t everything, no one cares about customer satisfaction

They use cheap carpet, cheap drywall, and when you purchase a brand new build, you expect things to work. I have had to call and set up a plethora of appointments to fix things that weren't working or were installed incorrectly. Don't do it! The one good thing is the customer service for fixing the issues is actually really great.

It's difficult to get the house u want if u have a house to sell Also there is entirely too much paperwork. The prices on ur homes changed almost daily, eventually pricing me out of the home I really wanted. Have been very attentive to issues needing repair

I like my house and I'm happy with my purchase but it did come with some frustrations. First, just because the documentation says that something is included doesn't mean that it's included. I didn't get several smart home items that were supposed to be included but were not. I was told that the documentation was out of date. Second, the fit and finish of the house was rough. I used an entire roll of blue tape during my inspection. Third, whoever designed the HVAC system needs to be fired. A single unit for a three level house!?? My second story is never cool. Finally, Lennar mortgage commutation after closing is terrible. I was contacted by my new lending institution 2 weeks prior to Lennar sending out any notification that loan had been transferred. ... What a great experience we had with purchasing our home through Lennar! Denis and the whole team was amazing.

I love the process and may buy again when there is good deal

customer service responded quickly to the few things that needed corrected after the purchase.

Was in a hurry to close due to wife having hip replacement surgery . So did not do a thorough inspection did not use a real estate agent two mistakes I will not repeat . Overall quality seems good just poor trim and finishing work .

I will enjoy my retirement in this beautiful place. Thank you.

I thought people were unfriendly and at times dishonest. They submitted a form with a forged signature to the title company. The buying process was very rigid and not flexible. You are better off buying from a private property then dealing with lennar

The whole experience was great

It was hard to get a home through Lennar especially if you are elderly and moving from another state like Louisiana. If you don’t have a job or money enough that can show that you can afford it. You might be disappointed unless you can find a good realtor who can help you through the process. Otherwise good luck.

Lennar is a good builder

Over all a good buying experience. This is our 3 condo we’ve purchased, but 1st through Lennar. We’ve heard horror stories from other buyers and that has not been our experience. We’d put a ticket in for a problem and it was addressed quickly with the warranty department and solved with the corresponding trade within a week or two. But apparently this varies from unit to unit,as our neighbor next door and above us, told of multiple problems with their units. We’re beyond grateful ours was a favorable outcome.

It's a great home. I love everything about it. I have been disappointed with the amount of service requests I have had to put in - this is a new build, I would have thought these minor details would have been taken care of.

Lennar was extremely responsive and made the first time home buying process so easy.

Salesperson was helpful. I am still waiting on the completion of my condo for repairs etc. I closed on 5/23/2023 & as of 07/11/2023 everything is not done

I believe anytime there is a problem, lennar will make it right.

Sales person was great and responsive. Quality of work was poor, responsiveness from construction team was poor. After closing for over 6 weeks we have not had sod on our yard. We financed through Lennar and they later sold the loan to a different company. Shortly after the loan was sold, my wife and I both experienced identity theft, where we both had letters stating that credit cards were applied for by us that we were not aware of. We are very careful with not sharing private information and have not applied for credit cards in over 5 years. Some credit cards were approved and had thousands of dollars charged to the cards that we did not open. ... More
