Great experience, responsive to complaints

Great and friendly staff. Very helpful.

After making the decision to sell our home in PA, we decided to purchase our new home in Ocala, FL direct from Lennar, strictly on-line without ever visiting the location, something we thought we would never do. Great communication, great sales representation and thanks to Bryan G. for sending pics throughout the process, so far workmanship appears fine, hopefully will remain without any major issues over time. Wish we could have customized a few things, but overall, we will make it our own over time. Thank you for a great experience!

Contractors workmanship very poor Appliances supplied very poor and cheap manufactured 2002 Does not keep their promises on the repairs They rush you through the closing and promised to finish the remaining repairs on varies things and was poorly done Items used on the house very poor quality . I will never purchase house under the Lennar name or recommend them .

In order to closing, rush everything, the quality can imagine, hope they will increase the quality.

Overall, it was a positive experience leading up to closing; however, closing day was a mess. My loan officer (Dawn) was incredibly communicative and helpful, but I cannot say the same for my loan processor. My loan processor did not communicate clearly with me or the rest of the team, leading us to believe that I would not be closing as scheduled. I was scheduled to close in the afternoon, but I did not close until around 5 PM, disrupting my entire workday. When I reached out the night before closing to ensure that everything was in order, I was told that there were no issues. The builder tried to be as helpful as possible, but he wasn't incredibly familiar with my property during the final walk through. He had also not been sent the full inspection report from the Lennar real estate agent, which led to some confusion. My largest challenge has been post-closing. The Lennar representative assisting with my 30-day check-in has been hard to reach. She missed our first meeting (that she had scheduled) without a call or notice. I had to call 3-4 times to get an answer 40 minute after our scheduled meeting. She had forgotten and was not apologetic. We rescheduled, and when I reached out to confirm the night before this meeting, she said she'd try to be on time but had another meeting right before mine and would try to be only 10-15 minutes late to mine. The sand and water comes thru the windows and door. The slider door falls off. The garage door is on on the track. The response to fix these issues is none.

I have not been pleased with this decision.

My overall home buying experience was stressful and almost traumatic. By far the worst purchasing experience I've ever dealt with. There was an extreme lack of communication with everyone involved. My closing date was moved up without my knowledge only to satisfy the managers' quota for the month. I felt more like a number on a sales performance board than an actual customer making one of the most important purchasing decisions of my life. My interest rate was changed from what was discussed so I had to follow up multiple times to have it changed back. The house repairs were not fixed from the orientation by the time of my closing date, but I was still forced to close on that day. Lennar (although at fault for not fulfilling their obligations) gave me an ultimatum to close on the 28th of August or I would lose out on the deal. No one was sympathetic to my frustrations. Things starts to break from day 1, quality is very poor. Kitchen cabinets have wholes and they will not take care by saying they can't do any thing. First rain brought water and some of things started to break... Worst quality material, they just want to close faster without even taking care all the things that we mention during walk through. Overall bad experience.

All the people that I have come in contact with at Lennar are pleasant to work with and they try their hardest to please. A good bunch of people with a tough job. Lennar should be happy with their people.

Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

Earle, Jonathon and Ronnie have made the buying, construction, and follow up about as good as it can get.

The home buying process was fine; wish the price was lower than we paid. I feel that the house was built too quickly, we’ve since found some issues with one outlet, painting, and the carpet and padding feels cheap. This was a spec house so we had no say or choice in what was put on the house or included in the house.

Do not buy a home from Lennar.

Weekly updates on construction were a great help during the waiting periods.

It was easy going & smooth process

This is the second house I bought from Lennar, the first wasn't too bad and of course some issues came after I moved in. For the second house things were not really good from the beginning, too many issues I found after I moved and for the price that we paid I was expecting a better quality on the construction but it's Lennar what el we can expect, look around some other options and make sure that you are going to get what your money is paying for. My advice is to try to avoid this builder if you can.

The overall process wasn't smooth and the negotiation part could have been better. I didn't have a lot of trust in all that process, seemed like something was all the time hidden from me. When moved I noticed a lot of things were done quickly, just to be done. Especially painting and finished. Lots of things left unfinished which aren't covered by warranty. Overall process I think could have been better. For the future reference, try and negociate the more you can, don't rush and if you finance with Lennar and you don't like your mortgage officer, switch to a different one. That will matter a lot. Workmanship is absolutely not known by contractors finish details are ignored the whole experience has been a nightm

Love the community and what it will offer once all is completed. Home buying experience was easy and James was a wonderful person to work with, he was very knowledgeable and made it a great experience.

I enjoyed very much working with Mr. Ricky McNeely for a couple of repair issues that turned up in the first week. He is very punctual and great to work with.

I purchased a model home. I had a fast close (Lennar wanted closing on 8/31). When I moved in, I didn't have a driveway and my front landscape was a mess and unfinished. They needed to fix a drain on my curb which delayed the driveway to not be complete until the end of September and it is now the middle of October and I need sod in my front yard and finishing touches around the driveway. I have also had issues getting my Ring home security system set up- it was already installed for the model home, but still having difficulty with it. I've reached out to Lennar customer service a few times but nothing was helpful. ... More

Had a great experience while buying home with Lennar. All the communication was very proactive and able to resolve all my queries very quickly and always helped me to understand more clearly
