Overall, the experience has been very smooth. One recommendation for future homeowners is to ensure that your closing cost payment is submitted for the exact amount. Overpayments can take up to three weeks to be refunded—especially if your bank is not compatible with their app-based system—which may delay receiving your keys. I would also like to recognize Joe, the construction manager, for his outstanding work. He has been consistently approachable, attentive, and proactive. He regularly checks in to ensure everything is going well and provides helpful guidance to improve the overall move-in experience. His communication has been exceptional, particularly when notifying residents about upcoming work in the area, such as sod and sprinkler installations. An area for improvement is the coordination between the sprinkler contractor and the internet provider. During installation, the sprinkler company cut existing internet lines due to overlapping placement with underground piping. This situation caused unnecessary frustration for both the service provider and homeowners. As a temporary solution, internet lines have been rerouted through gutters and around doorways, which detracts from the home’s appearance compared to the original underground installation. This issue should be properly resolved. Lennar would benefit from ensuring stronger alignment among contractors and implementing a final walkthrough after purchase to confirm that all work meets their quality standards and expectations. ... We’ve been here for over a month now and have yet to find any issues. We love our home and enjoyed the buying experience. I highly recommend this development and our experience with lennar.

Marc and Joe are the best. They help me get my home in order. Jeff help me with my financing which was awesome!! The home is beautiful but it needs another coat of paint.

Home buying experience from beginning to end was horrible.

My name is DeMarco Washington. I was kept being pushed and rushed to complete documents towards the middle and end of the home buying process. There was a handful of resends on Lennar's end as well with most of those documents. Also, I was promised and confirmed that I would get a fridge, washer and dryer on move in day and that wasn't there. I didn't have these items until a week and a half AFTER I moved in. I had food spoiled and laundry built up dirty.

Sales office could not get the paperwork right and communicate on the closing of our house from the start to the finish. Was a horrible experience. Corporate office refused to address our concerns when they were contacted directly. You think that they would be a whole lot easier and attentive to detail especially when you are paying cash for your new home. Would make me think twice if I was buying a home again. I will definitely not be referring them to any perspective byer anytime soon! Shame on you!

Great response and the service always delivers

I Am gladly I picked you as my home builder , this was quite an experience since all signing documents were done online. I still think your customers need some more info on every step of the way of the process, there is a lot I didn’t know and I encounter surprises every step of the way which I didn’t like it at all. I think there is more that can be done make things easier and smoother process.

We had an awesome from the first day we looked at the model until the day we moved in. GREAT!

Make sure you look the house over.

Make sure you fully understand the online process for your documents. It can be difficult if you are not computer literate. When Lennar says do not rely on verbal info that is an understatement. Verify everything you are told. Make sure you clarify everything on your walkthrough. Some Lennar people have been very helpful and others have not. On the positive side everyone has been friendly. We really like the Webbs Reserve development and our condo is great! There are a few minor suggestions I have for Lennar. Better lighting in the bathrooms and a couple of towel holders. Offer a reasonably priced reliable handyman service to help buyers complete after purchace decorative upgrades. ... More

Lennar staff are professional, caring and a pleasure to work with, however, the amount of paperwork and signatures are a lot. The buying experience is overwhelming for my age.

It was great to work with Brian. The process was very smooth. Everyone with Lennar title were very helpful during the closing. Highly recommend.

Great experience ever thing was smooth.

I would not trust anything they say. They promise things in a home and then when it is built those promises were “oopsies” or “I stuck my foot in my mouth”. If you purchase a Lennar home I highly recommend getting a third party inspection. There are gas leaks in a lot of homes in the neighborhood and Lennar refuses to take accountability. My oven still wreaks of gas after a while of being here and having multiple people come and “fix” the problem. Customer service is non existent. Area managers and sales will refuse to speak with you once you bring up an issue. My mistake was signing for this home. ... More

A very frustrating experience as many communication issues and disorganization were present from the beginning until closing. especially for a first-time home buyer.

Everyone has been amazing. Danielle, Char, Scott... it has been a wonderful and easy experience. The home is stunning and filled with light, beauty, and quality craftsmanship!

Buying a new home with Lennar was pretty straightforward. We went in to see a model home, we liked it and continued to sign a purchase agreement. We put an earnest money deposit and in a month we closed the deal. Our salesperson was transparent and helpful along with all Mortgage team. The house looks great, very spacious and bright. We would like to buy more homes with Lennar in the near future.

I’m very happy with my house and where we are in the neighborhood, however, the HOA is non existent and something needs to be done about it.

There are not enough negative adjectives to accurately describe how horrendous our experience with Lennar Mortgage was. We would get sent a message, we’d respond with a question and no one would get back to us for days. Our initial application sat on the underwriters desk for 2 weeks when Lennar pushes closing within a month. We spent over 5 hours on the phone with their 3rd party credit company only to be told we need to send in documents for all the questions they spent the 5 hours going through. I don’t mind getting the documents but it was a complete waste of 5 hours when I could have gotten the documentation in the first place. We would also upload documents into the Lennar portal and they wouldn’t review them and then asked for them again and I would turn around and tell them the day and time it was uploaded. Even on closing day we were told our keys were at closing, get to closing and they say the keys aren’t there and they didn’t have the numbers to call to figure out who had the keys. My husband and I had to find numbers and call around to figure out where our keys actually were. The house itself is fine, typical builder home but the mortgage process was so horrible I’ll never consider buying from Lennar again. ... More

We had a great buying process, from start to finish it was very easy. Jenn sold us from the first meeting, she was fantastic and answered every question we had. The mortgage team was efficient and helped us with any questions that popped up. Overall extremely pleased with our experience.

Lennar reps for construction are horrible to respond to issues. I moved in and the final walk through (the same day as closing), 2 hours before, there is issues in the house that was not fixed that I was promised would be fixed. The paint and touch ups on the wall were not fixed, I have a broken cabinet that I was told someone would be out to “temporarily fix” which was to Caulk it and I’d be placed in the system as a potential cabinet replacement if it’s not up to standard and that we would be in touch.. This was on 3/16 the day I closed. And I have yet to hear back no matter how many times I call or text the managers cell phone. There is flooring that is chipped underneath the rug by the entrance door. I notified the same guy at the same time about the flooring. Same thing, we would have that scheduled for it to be fixed. The front door seal is already falling apart. Overall, I do not think I will buy another house from Lennar. I use to love the houses that were made, but it’s clear that it’s simply cheap and well over priced for the sq footage especially the quality of work done. Not to mention, I’m not allowed to put a fence in the easement but Lennars landscape company is allowed to plant a tree over it. Lennar is great to work with and is priced right! My only complaint is that it is almost impossible to get ceiling fans in these new homes. We live in Texas and it gets very hot here. WE NEED CEILING FANS

Very simple process. The lender even had a down payment incentive. Everything went as scheduled.

They moved the day to close so we had to pay for another night of keeping our stuff on the truck and had to pay another $300 for a hotel. The floors are very uneven and one of our trees in the back is not straight. Phil was great!
