We moved into our home a month ago. House seems well built but Lennar fails in the attention to detail to make the experience great. My home was given to me with overgrown lawn, many issues found before closing were fixed well beyond instead of before as promised. Devices in the home had no instructions as boxes were thrown away, documents we needed to set up smart devices. Customer services tends to behave as if they’re doing you a favor by fixing things that should’ve been working to begin with. No complaints about the house itself but the treatment and attention to detail has room to grow.

Quality non existent in Lennar homes.....everything was done as cheaply as possible!

Everyone we talked with and helped us out with the process. Randy our mortgage loan officer. Josh and Justin were great to work with too.

This is my 3rd new construction home with a big builder and there are so many issues. Way too many appointments to count to have things corrected from things that should have been ready to go to major issues like leaks. Subcontractors are horrible and do not care about quality. Employees will say anything. Mortgage experience was not good. I didn’t find out until an hour before my closing appointment that I was set to close, so I had to rush to the bank to wire funds and then rush to get to attorneys office in time. Horrible experience and I do not feel confident in my home quality.

Overall the house is very well built. Do not have many options during the build such as electric range vs gas stove but the appliances and fixtures are very good. Very few issues with the house after completion. Customer support teams are excellent. I would buy Lennar again.

They lied and mislead us from day one. They have been totally unresponsive to issues and refer everything to thr Warranty then drag it out hoping you will give up. During the build they do not provide options even if you have signed the agreement to purchase. Cut cornors and finishes are a cheap ad possible especially appliances and cabinets. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!

A very efficient and thorough process!

Amenities are very nice but at this price I would have expected ceiling fans and more cabinets for storage.

A lot of back and forth with the clubs and attorneys. I don't think that there's a good job at all communicating.

From beginning to the final walk thur, everyone was very helpful. Aaron and Reese were on top of any issues we had. Dannett was extremely pleasant and a joy to work with. All in all, a good experience. BTW. We love our Osprey.

Joey D was great, after his part it’s been one problem after another. The bottom line is speed is prioritized over quality…and it really shows. What should be a wonderful experience has been about as fun as a root canal. Appliances, electrical, carpentry, paint, masonry, landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, stucco, cabinetry, tile - I can’t think of one aspect of our house that hasn’t had issues. Just exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing.

Elson was great as was Angela with the mortgage I am very disappointed that no one can tell us when the boat slips are to be finished or how they are to be allocated. I have seen NOTHING done to build them and that is one reason we moved here

I was not informed when the closing date was until the day of closing, which I chose at the last minute (only 2 days before the final walk-through). Someone dropped the ball here. The Cox internet was not connected; had to have a Cox associate out to connect it, which took him hours because he said nothing was connected. Would have chosen semi-gloss for the whole house instead of flat paint, especially for shelving, which marks severely. Love the high ceilings, the cabinets, the blinds at every window, the master bath, the style and pattern chosen for the pavers.

The salespeople were nice, and the lending department was great. But when you buy a brand new house, you expect things to be like new with no issues. We've had issue after issue with this home - from floor to ceiling, exterior & interior. The "warranty" office lies to you, takes forever to get anything done, and does not follow up. We loved the layout & the neighborhood seemed nice- but the work quality is not good.

The houses were rushed to be finished just to get people in and on my street alone four out of five houses have had major repair work done, and they're brand new less than two months and a half.

Easy process, knowledgeable, value, take ownership, make you feel like you matter

The bathroom in the master bedroom is leaking to the first floor, the walls are also flawed, the vegetable sink is also leaking, the bathtub is scratched and I will not be repaired, the steps of the front door are cracked, the glue on the floor leather joints on the first floor is leaking, and the alarm inside the doorbell does not make a sound. The experience is too bad for people to handle the maintenance. I hope someone can help to solve it.

The landscaping company they use will damage your property and not notify you, if the grass you receive is dead, expect no hear back from the property manager. The pool is hardly ever cleaned so you'll have to do that on your own especially if others have a big party the night before and leave glass, vomit, trash and rocks thrown everywhere, even in the water.

Purchased two townhomes in Lakewood Ranch. (Lorraine Lakes) Sales Rep for Lennar was completely unprofessional in his approach. Craftsmanship and customer services has gone by the wayside. Their a production builder and apparently hire anybody.

As a realtor in another state, I was surprised with the quality of Lennar here in Tampa. We expected much more than what we received. Comparing the quality and finishing of new homes in Houston and Orlando, the quality and attention to details here are far away from the standard of Lennar in those areas. New in town, we decided to give it a try to Lennar instead of DR Horton (our previous home was DR Horton) and wasn't impressed at all. House is spacious and comfortable with great layout, but the quality of materials and finishing are cheap. Attention to details and finishing of the house is poor. House was turned to us in a need of a deep cleaning, windows still with paint and concrete dust, floors with grout and paint stain, carpets with paint, ceiling fans poor installed, door frames missing caulking on the top of the doors, location of the towel rack over the sinks instead of near the bathtubs. During the inspection (that was a pain to coordinate) we pointed out the stain and roughness of the main porch and garage and the response was that it was a rough area. Garage was fixed but front porch not. That's the main entrance of the house!!!! Major issues were fixed before moving but finishing and details that will make a difference in the home buying experience, unfortunately were missing. ... More

Our last few homes were of much higher quality. From thin paint (areas you can see the drywall), to cheap fixtures and materials to Lennar dropping the home automation (wireless thermostats, ring cameras, etc), backyard paver patios & grills - they were certainly looking to maximize profit and finish out the neighborhood (we were one of the last homes built). Would likely not buy another Lennar home.

The purchasing experience of my townhouse was fine. The quality of my townhouse is not good. Very sketchy. I have submitted SO many tickets for service to correct issues that it’s becoming a weekly habit and a part time job. This is not what I signed up for. I’ve become the general contractor to repair so many things that it totally diminishes the quality of product Lennar sells. My realtor warned me about Lennar and I should have listened. Now here I sit with a defective house that needs so much work and the smallest thing, like mowing the lawn doesn’t even get done! I’m disgusted and wish I would not have purchased a Lennar home! ...
