Happy with the affordability, we love our new home. As a homebuyer the process was good, we were able to complete all of our tasks with guidance from the Lennar team. We did have to advocate for our home in regard to "quick workmanship" and materials being overlooked. Construction materials were left in the plumbing, water heating, and cooling nozles were painted over, the floors have lifted/chipped pieces, with smudged with adhesive from installation, plumbing, and cabinet materials were missing, and the exterior of the house has built-up mortar on the concrete, and much of the caulking and texture was completed with a sloppy look. We are happy that Lennar is able to provide work orders on discrepancies we find in the home. We were contacted by many different Lennar team members with tasks, who would give us different information, we learned we needed to track who we spoke with and document everything in a paper trail. We wish it was just one person we work with who collaborates with the rest of the team because it felt overwhelming to have to turn the same documentation in to too many different Lennar team members. The Lennar realtor showed us the house, and that was the end of our experience with them, our personal realtor worked above and beyond to ensure our closing was as smooth as possible. Our closing date was delayed due to material not being available by about a month, which put us in a temporary bind, but Lennar was able to compensate for the inconvenience. The home buying process was fine. We closed and moved in after final repairs were made. Mostly just little thing, dents in drywall, vents not painted etc. I had only had the house for two weeks when I noticed a water leak in the downstairs half bath. Water damage on the drywall and baseboards that was coming from inside the wall. Contacted Lennar and the plumber was out the following Tuesday. From there it has been almost a month of back and forth and my bathroom STILL isnt fixed. My contact with Lennar went radio silent, the scheduled contractors we had never showed up, or showed up on the wrong day. The plumber plumed my stuff backwards and put hot water to the toilet, so my drywall had to be cut back out to fix it. I am truly at my wits end. The house is fine, for the most part. A lot of it is just cut rate carpentry work. No garage door opener for the 3rd bay, no gutters on the house, bad concrete work. BUT you dont know these things until you buy it and live in it. ... Dear Reed, you contacted me shortly after I completed the purchase of my new home. I expressed to you that I was very displeased with the workmanship in different areas of my new house as you and I briefly discussed. You referred me to Scott and said Scott would contact me to address these issues. Scott did come out to my house to see the issues of poor workmanship with the painting, window installation and carpet in the master bedroom and he said they would get fixed. Scott sends the job Superintendent Kyle out to address the issues (which were discussed on my walk thru). To no avail, I am still having issues with the wood trim paint and painted walls. One party tells me things will be repaired/fixed the other tells me the opposite or both Scott and Kyle say repairs/replacement will be done then when asked of the status, they both denied what was told to me. Several occasions my Sister has been here and heard/witnessed what was said and they still deny. What ever happened to customer service where the customer is always right, especially when there is a witnessing party? I understand Breland Homes was the original builder then Lennar took over the development and at one time my home (Lot 44) was used as a staging/storage place. I saw it when it was and there was a lot of construction traffic coming in and out of this house. I am very familiar with Lennar in California being I relocated from California and the standard of workmanship is there is so much higher. Unless, I ask myself, is this an isolated incident? I am very dissatisfied because I bought a brand NEW home, not a fixer upper. I am sorry but until the issues with my new home have been fixed and completed, I cannot and will not recommend Lennar to a new home buyer. ... More

Try to resolve issues with cut corners on maintenance. My sink faucet is leaking and water comes down in closet, and every time different people comes and explain that when you clean sink, water supposed not go behind faucet. So I have to keep towel all the times behind the faucet. I never heard like that. I was owning the home earlier and I used to clean bathrooms and I never seen water under the closet. The faucet gasket has to be sealed and leak free.

Everyone I've worked with at Lennar is amazing from the start to finish. Shortly after moving into my home I experienced a small issue and one phone call is all it took. The repair team resolved it right away. Not only was the repair completed quickly...they went over and beyond to ensure the issue wouldn't arise again. Kiddos to Connie, John, Steve, and the plumber. Sorry, I forgot his name, but he was amazing!

A constant battle from start to finish with things broken after the fact. Terrible customer service. Lies from the entire team. Rude sales men. With the experience I had I would never recommend a lenar home to my friends or family. My first home buying experience was ruined by y’all’s team with the exception of two people. Terrible & very shameful

From start to finish, nothing but the best! First time home buyer, 2 small hiccups but resolved without a hitch! My Home Advisor & Loan Officers, my Production Mgr, my Inspector, my Realtor and all those in between & at Closing, Thank you so much Team Lennar!! You Rock!!

I have used Lennar as my builder of my last 2 homes. Each time has been a predictable and satisfying experience. Production Manager is extremely helpful and responsive as were the whole team.

Though we like our new home and neighbors, we live in a major construction area with dozens of Lennar homes in various stages of construction. We knew at time of purchase that there would be 4-5 months of additional construction, but we had no idea that street in front of our home would serve as a staging area for various parts of the building process w. the accompanying dangerous construction traffic, diesel fumes, noise, placement of materials, equipment, landscaping gravel, etc. all right in front of our house with little concern about the effects on residents living there. Had we known the full extent of disruption and potential safety concerns, we would have not purchased here. Yes it is time limited but Lennar could do way more to shield current residents from the above. ... More

Ask lots of questions

It was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone took their time and taught me the new process of docu signing and emails ever since covid changed everything. They were all very patient with everything because l was going through a divorce at the same time. Everything had to fall into place and coinside as l was going through my proceedings. It took me three different attempts before l was able to lock in a lot as there were hurdles l had to over come with timing issues of my divorce. No one gave up as we were all determined to get me in a Lennar Home. It took a special group of people to make this happen. They cared enough to be like my own support group. I couldn't be happier to be a Lennar Home Owner. My sincere thanks to all who had any part of this journey of mine... NEW BEINNINGS, FRESH START ON LIFE and a HOME I CAN CALL MY OWN!!! ... More

The promotional incentive amount was changed drastically at closing which made me feel misled. The loan process was also stressful. Aside that everyone was nice, helpful and my loan officer handled road bumps professionally but that incentive amount made it a bitter sweet experience.

The entire process was very manageable. Everyone involved was very friendly and caring.

The financing part of purchasing and closing was very smooth. My loan officer always answered the phone when I called and was efficient. My CSR that conducted the Home walkthrough was fantastic and got all my concerns addressed. The only feedback I have is some quality of the workmanship could be improved. It appears some aspects were rushed to completion which caused a lot of rework and/or repairs. Not sure if they have it, but quality checks and reviews throughout the build process (such as plumbing), and before a client walkthrough (painting, trim, fixtures, etc.) would avoid so much re-work and back and forth. With that being said, everything was swiftly addressed, it just resulted in more of my time taken. The only thing that inconvenienced me was I only got 20% of grass in my back yard. I would love to give a stellar review and I will say the majority of people I worked with from Lennar were great. From Lennar Mortgage to the walk throughs and everything in between, people were knowledgeable, helpful, and got back to me in a timely manner. Because I believe it’s important to give credit where credit is due, Scott with Lennar Mortgage was truly a pleasure to work with, Beth did my first walk though and was a lovely person, and Dustin did my final walk through and he was awesome! The exception to this was the selling agent on behalf of Lennar. She gave bad information several times throughout the process and made it so much more stressful/frustrating than it needed to be. It was evident she needs more training and coaching to do her job more effectively so future home buyers will have a more enjoyable and positive experience. ... More

Overall, we had a great experience purchasing our home. It is a very well developed neighborhood and great place to live.

Have to constantly badger customer care to get an issue resolved. A poor job was done to correct it as well. Sales and loan officers were great. Construction manager and care reps were terrible.

I decided to give new home buying a shot. I’ve purchased four primary homes in the last 10 years so yes I do have some experience. However new home buying with Lennar has been nothing but painful. I think their intents were right but the execution was horrible. First off, each dept doesn’t care about their peers so they just push accountability around. Second, the loan dept was the worst I’ve used ever. Didn’t really have a choice as their deal was the best for rate. But be prepared for some stupidity and lack of common sense from the underwriter to doc processing. Sales rep did his best but he was not in control. Then came the funniest part. Land division didn’t update utility company about closing timing so Lennar sold houses advertising everything connected, but without internet e nothing is unfortunately :) Frontier came and showed me an empty junction box because they were not updated by lennars land division that we are moving in. Then finally the nightmare of your address not recognized in google map. Deliveries failed and stuffs get sent to other addresses etc. if you really have time to deal with these bs or if you really want to experience a brand new house for the first time like me then by all means… ... Response althrough the processes was great.officials were friendly and always ready to help. Necessary things were done to make a buyer settle with ease. However I nearly missed my home because of strigent requirements by Lennar on loan. Let you loan procedures have human face.
