Almost everything was great. I did have a bad experience when a problem developed due to negligence from a contractor and Lennar was slow to help. I am very happy with my new home.

Promised work to be done to the house takes way too long. It’s been almost 2 months and still not all complete. Warranty claim process also lacks priority. When submitting claims on portal, virtual appointment takes a full week and the actual work to be done another few weeks after that. Sometimes the guys say they show up and they don’t show up. Overall, Lennar builds good quality homes. As long as those warranty and promised work gets completed, I have no other complaints besides how long it’s been taking.

Smart features and good floor plans. Good sales team and finance team. lennar portal is very user friendly. There are places where they have cut the corners.

Too many things not done or done shabby plus we were suppose to close in October ,and closed January 31th it cost us $12000 to rent a place to stay.Now who's going to pay us that money

Beautiful homes, but be sure you are THOROUGH on your "Celebration" (HA!)walk-through. Once you sign on that dotted line, they are on to the next. Sure, you will get a call to be ensure nobody else goes through what you did, but they do nothing to resolve your own issues. So I'm warning others here too.

The people who work for Lennar were great. All were very helpful and very responsive. I’m not sure the corporation was as great. Not long after we signed our contract the price for identical unsold homes was reduced. We came to an agreement and they supplemented our purchase with other perks. However, shortly after that the price was reduced again. In the end we paid $13,000 more for our home at closing than the price the same homes were being sold for on that date. Hard not to feel like we were taken.

Home building process and updates are on point. How ever if you raise any issues with them make sure you follow up constantly and ask them to call you for inspections. They build towards a time deadline towards the end so you might end up with lot of cosmetic issue. make sure you take an experience person for home walk through.

Had a leak 2 weeks in and dom handled it in a timely manner.

Have to argue with construction managers, they will agree with the issue but reluctance to fix even structural issues also some of them I left as I am not able to continue my argument. After closing customer care will not accept those issues .

First time home buyer. Did not realize everything I would have to look out for. If I had thought to check some of these things probably would not have purchased this home. No faucet in the back yard to water my grass. I feel this should be mandatory, but what do I know? All the toe kicks in the kitchen are hanging on for dear life they will all fall off eventually. Had a minor gas leak that I did not report for a few weeks because I was told the faint fas smell near the meter was NORMAL, yes Im the idiot for believing that, this I do realize. Im sure there's more that I can't remember.

Some of the items were missing post closing which were part of plan. When I raised request each team is pointing to others. No one communicated that these items were not part of the house I purchased, but as per them it’s a known issue for some houses.

The employees are great. Kind and helpful. Debra made the purchase experience easy and Josh was very attentive regarding quality issues. Unfortunately, the subs and contractors are NOT GOOD. Our electric was poorly done and the quality of the garage door is unspeakable. We have had cascades of water pouring down the inside and the vendor says it’s NOT covered. Additionally, if we caulk the windows it voids whatever warrantee there it! Very disappointed.

Nice home only would have preferred to add custom touches.

Home buying experience was good in regards to mortgage. But we had/have lots of issues after we moved in and is still pending.

We decided to purchase a townhome in market commons community because it provided most of the things we were looking for, close to the beach, a sense of community,access to stores and businesses within walking or driving distance. After a year of exploring when we finally decided on belle harbor community there were only a few lots for townhomes left for sale. We were only able to get a unit close to Rt 17 and we were concerned with traffic noise, we are adjusting to the noise and wish lennar had provided more of a setback and more trees and and plantings between our unit and the road. Gregg who was our sales person worked hard to get us the unit and lot that we wanted. Once work started on our unit we received updates frequently. As the work on the unit was close to finished Miguel took over as manager and our whole experience changed as Miguel was in constant communication with us. We hired an outside consultant, Brad did a complete walkthrough of unit and provide a through list of all items that needed to be fixed.Miguel worked closely with Brad and us to see that all deficiencies were corrected, some of them minor and some major items as well. Miguel has continued to follow through with corrections even after closing and to date all issues have been taken care of. Kristen was our mortgage officer and was professional,personable and worked hard to get us the best rate, she continually stayed on to top of issues and helped us through the process. I believe her hard work is what allowed our closing to be timely and efficient. In summation our experience with lennar has been positive and we are having fun moving into our new townhome. ... More

There were a lot of materials that were installed in my new home that weren’t properly covered up or cared for as other trades came through the home to finish other items. My brand new floors have been worked on 3+ times already and are still wrong. Paint was everywhere: on the floors, on my brand new upgraded counter tops, and all over my driveway. So many things have needed to be fixed that the first month in my new home I had a contractor visit practically every other day. It’s hard to believe I’m paying almost half a million dollars to have floors with permanent paint and glue residue all over them, not to forget that they are also not level in some areas, among other things. As a first time homebuyer, this experience was very stressful. Really not sure I’ll be doing a new build again after this. This is not to say I don’t love my new home and the awesome appliances and what not, but the overall experience with the lender and the workmanship was not satisfactory to be fully honest. Quick, accurate and thorough response to all issues and questions. Care and concern for all potential homebuyers. Completely accommodating to those who have problems with a manufacturer or any of the trades. Lennar has become a trusted brand and serious competitor in the home building industry.

Our home buying process started from out of state, everything went fairly smooth at the start, and when we were local were even able to switch lots. After that construction updates were few and far between, with a delay in close date, which I understand is the nature of the beast. We found it odd there wasn't technically a blue tape walk, although we used our orientation to do that with the customer service person. Once we got to closing that was smooth, however the construction manager and customer service rep for Lennar told us to compile our list of things that needed attention within the first 30 days and get it to them so they could knock out everything at once. At 30 days we've found a bunch of bigger issues that need help and just a ton of little stuff that I fear will never get the attention. We were told we need to submit everything through the warranty portal. Well, if that was the case I wish I was doing it as it came up because now it's going to be quite a task getting it all in at once. Additionally the issues at closing still haven't been addressed so it leaves us little hope for the small things. Ultimately, did they build a strong house - yes, and we're grateful. However the workmanship is very poor in the house and would definitely advise a loved one to be cautious of that if considering Lennar in the future. ... More

Cheryl was a wonderful agent to work with and kept the flow of information with updates current and made the purchasing experience easy. The Lennar staff tries their best to respond in a timely fashion however some of their suppliers are not as responsive.

House was built even before planned date and meet our expectations.

I would definitely like to appreciate the builder to assist me to get an end unit town home which was initially an interior unit that we booked. My only concern is the mortage rate of interest which is exorbitantly high for me now 6.375. The overall quality of the town home is good. Kitchen appliances, Kitchen Marble quality, Toilet parts, hoses would have been slightly better. There are things that could have been slightly better in comparison with the price I have paid for. However I am overall happy with whatever we got. This is a bit of an early stage for me to comment on the other areas now but I believe I would get complete cooperation and support as and when needed. ... More

Like all quickly built homes... lots of little things need to be fixed/replace already. Nothing serious---all minor issues.

Unfortunately congress butchered all value in this country.

This is our second time purchasing a new home and I have to say this process was a little more difficult. The lack of communication was the biggest issue for me. We were giving three different completion dates. And now that we are all moved in there are still things that need to be fixed inside the home. Everyday we're finding something that was not complete. I will say these are beautiful homes but you can tell they cut corners on certain things in the home. For instances there are no real towel racks in either of the bathrooms. The shower door does not close all the way. Our refrigerator didn't even have a filter. And you can pretty much tell these homes are rushed in the building process. The loan team were diligent and always very willing to help us as well as Jen the sales representative Who answered our calls and questions in a timely manner.
