Buying and home closing experience was good. After we moved in, paint from several doors started to peel off within days. Front lawn irrigation was not programmed properly. Lawn dried up by the time we noticed.

Good sales/ buying experience. Lennar product fell short on expectations. Low quality materials for example very small doors. Windos that do not open. Lost space in the corner counter. Very dark house. Ensure the lights are off when you see the house.

Buying and financing was great. We have numerous problems since moving in. The biggest issue i have is the QA inspections. It was obvious that we were lied to by chris. Our dryer could not have ever been checked, because it was not connected to the breaker box correctly. We were told it passed 2 inspections. HOW. All of our issues have been corrected to date. This was our first new home purchased. I guess our expectations were too high. Lennar boasts all inclusive, yes. But all appliances are low end.

Make sure to run water in the house. I had a plugged up shower drain. Had some missed items that needed to be fixed. Otherwise we had a good move.

Feeling out the new house

The buying process was easy we have had problems which should of never had like the dish washer wasn't even hooked up no hose for the actual water.. Also having A/C unit problems with leaking that went through the garage ceiling.. The people who come out are great I'm just hoping there not building these houses to fast and cutting back on quality..

Brooke sold me my new home and is absolutely amazing to work with. My complaint is with Lennar. I informed Lennar of an issue regarding the home pulling in to much electricity and they said everything was working great. I received a 331 dollar electric bill and I reached out to the customer service representative and was told he was waiting for a response from his bosses. I have not heard anything about Lennar assisting with this bill.

The buying experience was easy. We got the floorplan we wanted at a great price. We found issues, but our customer rep handled everything and all were resolved. The biggest issue is the shoddy work by the electrical contractor. Boxes are poorly fitted in the walls, plugs wont fit in switches, and they stick out from the sheetrock at angles so the plates stick out from the walls. We have been trying to adjust them as we paint.

Lennar Homes is a typical large volume driven home builder. Cuts corners to keep cost down for them. Paint quality is horrible. Watered down paint is barely on the walls. Adding floodlights in front and back is great, but for $15 more per light they could have added motion sensors. Floors are uneven, baseboards are all over the place and not straight at all. Hardware on kitchen cabinets installed wrong. Fireplace is nice, but a blower to push the hot air out would have been a nice touch at a very low cost. Bernie my son liked the online presence and having all the docs in 1 place was great. Me as his father and buyer too, I loved the house design (30 years as a homebuilder) the quality of work was an 8 out 10, but the follow thru on who was going to fix things is to corporate! It would be best to have a full time customer service Guy/Gal who shows up and does the customer service work as there will always be something to fix. It was a great experience. I received attention from some of the team and assistance in completing the data until I finally reached the completion of the house purchase process. However, I would like in the future for things to be smoother and more flexible when selling and for everything to be explained before signing the contract. I recommend dealing with Lanar. You are a truly excellent choice.

The concierge in charge of our home was fabulous. The selling agent was bad and unresponsive. He never returned phone calls, emails or texts. The overall set up of all the different HOA is needlessly complex and never explained eell. The quality of the plug points throughout the house is low. There were several large dry wall holes that were not fixed prior to the final walk through. Roof tiles were missing but the house was deemed all done and it was difficult to get the construction manager to check it and make sure it was done. Sometimes I have to remember that I’m buying a track home and not a custom home. It’s a one size fits all types of situation when buying a house from Lennar so the custom touches are not there and yes, you do get items that don’t meet your expectations, but that’s what you’re buying also as far as warranty issues I could not be happier with Gabe from the #Warranty department. It seems like every 30 seconds you are getting a msg or someone is Texting you about some phase of insurance, settlement, HOA, mortgage or some other phase of buying....respond to one and get double back without really knowing who or where they fit in the scheme. Personnel were mostly helpful and professional; computer systems, emails, paperwork was often messy, unclear, haphazard. When we did a walk thru of the home, we weren't given paperwork to sign until after the fact and many of the items we were requested to sign were unclear or didn't apply. Owner website is not up-to-date for our location, and it's missing key information.

The beginning of the process exceeded my expectations until I was under contract. It was very difficult to communicate with some of the key players on the team such as the processor, loan officer, salesperson, and property manager. I left messages and I would not receive a response, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
