I have been dealing with issues in house build since i purchased the house. Water has been sitting in water meter for weeks, no solution has been provided under warranty only workaround has been given. Finding missing electrical outlets. Bad grading done, improper landscaping. cheap quality porch door. Finding cracks in dry wall close to electrical outlet which tried to hide by paint.

Zach and Kris have been wonderful to work with in our first new build home. Any issues are quickly resolved.

Once you close they pretty much ignore you. My sod died within a month and they told me it was my fault for not watering it. They did not cover sod.

I just bought my first home in 2023 and after a lot of work combing through the market, I finally came across homes quickly selling in an ideal area! I had heard good reviews for Lennar and decided to give it a chance. Immediately in the walk thru I noticed quite a few things that needed to be fixed. I noticed a few cabinets needed to be replaced, one was loose, the doors all had some damage to the paint from being closed while wet, the carpet was stained with muddy boot prints, and there were marks on the flooring. I was told these things had been completed but was never offered an additional walk thru, so I had to trust that the work had been completed and fixed. Upon move-in I was blinded by excitement, but as I was moving my items in, I saw my home at new angles and noticed NONE of the additional work had been completed. On top of that, the house did not get cleaned, there is paint on my carpet and flooring that won’t come up, there’s so many gaps between door frames and door steps, the dishwasher was not installed only placed in the correct cutout, the sink fell within a week which caused severe water leaking to damage my cabinet and I was without my kitchen sink for weeks. At first I had a good experience with my warranty tickets but then quickly realized they kept sending the incorrect people out, proving they had no real understanding of the situation, so now I’m very displeased with the warranty service as well. If I had it all to do again I’d go with a different builder. It’s as if the house was thrown together with no care, not to mention, before it was complete when I went to view the home, there were beer bottles all over the floor and drinks in my brand new fridge. The entire road of Lennar homes have warranty tickets out as well. This company is extremely unprofessional and they seem to not care about the importance of having a livable home with an infant. There was misinformation given to me,house and property.

It seemed like no know knew what was going on from the get go. Almost lost the house because we were selling our current home and that was a big deal. No one told us that. They had to redo the entire tile floor downstairs 2 times because of bad workmanship. I even let the super know of issues before the first flooring was completed. Only good out of it was we got to select the color we really wanted. Found lots of bad workmanship items. It took countless times pointing it out and bringing it up to get resolved. Some are still on going two months later. After we closed, the guys that said to reach out if there’s any issues went silent. It’s taking forever to get last items resolved. Not a single person knows what’s going on with the solar system. I called the solar company and the power company to get things started. Every single neighbor has a lot of issues with their home. We love the house but everything involved with the purchasing and closing was terrible. The best day will be once we no longer have to deal with lennar. The after closing team has been on top of things to help finish repairs. We are not getting pushback on issue we find but there was just a lot. ... More

My suggestion to all potential buyer, don’t close on a house with Lennar unless all outstanding issues have been addressed. It’s nearly impossible to find anyone with Lennar to answer questions and have issues addressed.

Initial walk through issues were numerous. Sloppy workmanship in many categories. Very poor exterior paint coverage. Some areas do not have paint on the siding. Paint splatter on floor in many areas. Rain gutter by front entrance leaks and lets water run behind stone work. Sloppy install on sprinkler system. Crooked sprinkler heads in several areas. Garage door opener wiring sloppy installation, has broken wire that will no allow door to close. Exit doors to lanai - dead bolts not aligned will not lock. Main sewer line was damaged by workers that were grading the lot prior to sod being placed. This caused a major stoppage that took a lot of work to locate underground damage before a fix could be attempted. I go on for twenty more items but the fact that the slow response to issues important to me makes this Lennar home not what I expected. ... More

I think the quality of workmanship should have been better supervised because we found many mistakes/imperfections that I feel should have been caught during the building phase. As a first time buyer, I was able to identify a lot of mistakes and I am left wondering what else was shortcut on or simply subpar which I have not yet identified. Also, now that the closing has taken place, it seems difficult to reach any of those involved in the process prior. As questions/concerns appear, i believe it would be extremely helpful if someone or a small designated team were available to address such concerns. ... More

In General we got very good relations starting with the first visit with Mr Kevin, through signing contract , inspection with Mr rick and Miss Brittany. All was fine throughout the closing. Your people did very good job. Thank you and congratulations

My closing day was, to say the least, pretty unenjoyable. I arrived at the Lennar office and was greeted by the notary agent. Upon completion of signing my documents, I was given my keys and shown the door to leave. I imagined as a first time homebuyer with a company that’s been around for some time, there would be a more memorable experience for clients, wether a first or tenth time homebuyer. Needles to say I am very uncertain if I would use or suggest going with Lennar in the future.

Lennar is trust worthy. All the people who work for Lennar full of knowledge and very helpful.

Not real thrilled with the responsiveness of addressing issues that came up AFTER we closed. Still waiting on several items 6 weeks later…

The process of applying for the Loan is painstaking. Loan officer and underwriting office lack good cooperation. They repeatedly asked the same questions or demanded same documents. I suspect that they misplaced the documents submitted. Their computer storage system is not smart enough. They tried to cover (store) a wide variety of documents with very limited categories (label) they created; therefore, you cannot easily find the documents you submitted. I believe they have the same problem; therefore, the easiest way is to ask customer to resubmit the document.

Thank goodness for streaming services because my home, and NEW houses in the Tavola community are not wired for cable. I was shown an eye sore on the side of the house “claiming” to be the cable source and ready to go. I learned that was a lie. The cable wiring stops on the basement and does not go throughout the house. When I tried to inquire about it I was told that’s how all the houses are done. If we weren’t in an age of streaming service I would not have access to cable or internet. I really wish this were not the case because my experience was extremely positive up until this point.

During the process of purchasing my first home, it all started off really well. Once it started getting closer to the final close out date, I began having issues with the construction team. The first instance that occurred was me finding a crack pipe in the guest bathroom. Then there was a lot of rescheduling due to them leaving the house dirty and muddy. They also snapped my AT&T Fiber Cable when they were laying dirt for sod and failed to take accountability for it. So many instances that piled up on one another, but at least the finance team made up for the inconvenience of the Construction Team. ... More

Poor response once you have an issue that need to be addressed, good response via teams or zoom to explain the situation but a lot of time to get fixed any situation on the property, maintenance department need to have a value stream mapping process in order to understand the response time/ Leadtime for costumer service.

The home buying process wasn't too bad, but there was always a sense of urgency to do something because of the Lennar representatives. It was almost like we were pressured into buying in less than a month. There after moving in, there were a couple things missing from the home. It wasn't until almost 3 weeks after moving in someone brought what was needed. A service request needed to be submitted and a video call required, but there was no need for it. The Lennar home came with "Smart Home" features, but there was not a single Lennar rep that stopped by or would help. When signing there was multiple errors, and no one was able to provide a definite down payment amount. Besides that particular experience, everything went smoothly and I was able to apply a pretty good deal on the home which was the ultimate reason for the purchase. I would buy a Lennar again, but would definitely keep a list of things to keep my eyes on to make sure they are fulfilled before closing. ... More

Our home closing was pushed three times, home hadn't passed final city inspection yet when we moved in, sod work, when we finally got sod, is shoddy at best. The whole experience was terrible, and I wouldn't do it again or recommend it.

The home buying process went really fast and I did feel rushed to meet deadlines. Emails that were sent were sent on Friday afternoons mountain time so when it came to questions, I had to wait until Sunday or Monday to hear a response. My walkthrough was fast with the final walkthrough being rushed. All items that needed to be fixed were not done at the final walkthrough leading to a rushed job. When I finally received a key code to get in it was hours after closing. The work that was done was horrific. I'm being told that I have to wait until the 12 months. So I purchased a brand new home/build that has dings, mismatched paint, doors that won't close, lawn that looks horrible. The person I closed with and the person I purchased the home from went MIA. No one has checked in with me after working with me for months prior. The closing was not a celebration. It was disorganized and very long. No celebration at all. No pictures no handshake. I was expecting more and at least the seller to be there. After all this, I shouldn't be told that these are production homes and I didn't purchase a custom home. The finishes of the house could have been better especially when it comes to the paint . Flooring is OK engineered wood for Flooring isn't the greatest option, the quality isn't good. So far no major issues with the house.

Lennar does a good job of making the buying experience comfortable. And the loan officers were amazing. I would definitely buy another lennar home.

Let's start with Lennar Lender - Regina Stacy was the one who provided her services and she locked our rate when we didn't ask her; she also mentioned that we could change it free of charge later, which wasn't true - she did nothing to help us lower the rate. This was the main the most negative experience that required a lot of stress and attention. Overall build quality is ok but could be better. For some reason Lennar chose white paint for the interior - I would like to know this person and let them how they are not away of the trends and practicality of using white paint inside the house. Corina, Brian, Brandon have been really great help in getting any issues we've had resolved. We have not been at all happy with the Tile & slab company.

The buying experience was great. The only thing we could have asked was for a little more communication. The first 9 days in the house were great until the quality of workmanship showed with a major sewage backup. While Lennar responded quickly the weeks to follow were a nightmare with no admission of fault. They actually blamed their plumbing company. I felt like a general contractor trying to get it fixed. People would show up with no idea what they were to work on. It eventually all got fixed but needless to say my new house doesn't have that new feel. To top it off we missed a nice show we had tickets for and Lennars response was sorry we don't reimburse for things like that. Great customer service......not. ... More
