Overall home buying experience is very good. After closing their response to issues is not very good.

I could not be more discusted with the entire process. NEVER use Lennar Mortgage, they only complicated the lending process and make it harder. The construction is definitely subpar, 3 electrical issues that are 100% the same but they can't seem to solve the problem any longer then temporary, paint on the walls could but have been applied any thinner, door knobs and strike plates coming off after 2 months, cracked concrete driveway before we moved in and The stupidity of the construction manager looks at me and says there's no problem. I would NOT ever purchase another Lennar home and I'm already looking forward to leaving this one. The WORST home owning/purchase of my life ... More

From the moment I signed and gave my deposit for my home I felt that it was one of the last lines of communication with Lennar without pulling teeth. The only time I received a call back was when they sent me a review. After moving in and doing a virtual tour It took over a month for anyone to respond after having to reach out yet again. I have family members that moved in over a year ago and they did not have the same experience. Lennar service has for sure decreased in quality and craftsmanship. The endless cement LUMPS that are under the carpet is ONE example of shoddy work done. I know these are cookie cut homes but there should be more pride in there work. I think the quickness in the turnaround time putting up these homes are showing for sure. -Lennar could also offer their employees a course in customer service. It would go a long way on how to talk to people. Unfortunately, we have run into a few people that could use it. -We were also told the HOA was one price and when I got my booklet it went up without any notification. The staff at Lennar are wonderful and the buying process was made as simple as possible. The real issue that Lennar needs to work on, is the finishing work and hire contractors that deliver a much higher quality of craftsmanship than they do today. We had a terrible walk through and closing experience due to the bevy of unresolved items that our project manager didn’t handle. If Lennar had a quality coordinator to review and follow through on work prior to presenting a home to a new owner it would greatly improve the process in our opinion. People shouldn’t spend this kind of money on a home , and then have to chase down and work with the Contractors to finish things that should have been done prior to closing. Good luck. ... More

processing job (getting IRS transcript, multiple job verification, same request many times. ) My son is a loan officer too, lennar price and title paid, made me go thru lennar. But, he was saying, paystub, and bank statement and IRS transcript is all automatically pulled, if client gives permission.

Every new home will have its problems, and Lennar is no different. But there is a difference in how homebuilders respond to these problems. Lennar has an excellent stag ready to address any issues the customer has. They are quick to respond to questions and repair any problems encountered.

For the price paid, the interior of the condo has poor quality materials. Parking assignment was terrible. I bought a unit in building 10 however they assigned parking near building 7. They wouldn’t disclose this details during the final walkthrough and were sneaky about it. Now, Lennar and the HOA are pointing fingers at each other. Guess who suffers? Me and my family.

We have had a few problems with baseboards and floors but they have come to fix everything very quickly and professionally

Shartel did an amazing job! She walked us through every model home and answered all of our questions. The buying experience was very smooth and painless. I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase and my home.

Fantastic staff however, their hands are tied by management dictating what they can, and can’t do cannot can’t replace the model. I happen to be in the Capri has no master closet for the man tiles hardware full design is dated still lingering in the 90s toggle switches have no place in a home at this price point.

There was tons of confusion on closing dates and who was helping us with the home buying process. Once we closed and walked in the floors were still dirty and the place had not been cleaned. It wasn’t terrible but it could have been better.

The process was quick and easy to understand. The only small issue is the craftsmanship. The door to one of the bedrooms is misaligned. While the issue was resolved after the final walk-through, it became misaligned again. I've fixed the issue myself.

Overall experience was good. Like the villa. Some attention to detail a little lax,

Sales agent not present at closing. Parking lot allocated to other building without our knowledge. No orientation provided about garbage, club house or even for the building. HOA doesn’t exists for you.

The home wasn’t completed when it was supposed to be. They then rushed through getting everything done and the quality really suffered. The home was not at all clean when I moved in and the construction manager’s response was that his cleaning crew didn’t like him. If that’s the case find a new cleaning crew. I’m still waiting for them to get the excess paint off the windows and carpet and clean the concrete from my kitchen baseboards. They also had some sort of film on my oven that was never removed. The construction manager assured me everything would be done by closing and pretty much none of it was and it’s over a month later and it still hasn’t been. ... More

Prior to close discovered chip in granite! Summer was to handle this Monday morning after close- no one showed up no follow through- QR code done and requested by Haley no response. Prior to move in we noticed laundry door did not shut- mentioned to Jeff he looked at it said he’d handle- nothing no- Phil called spoke to him. No one cared to follow up! Great customer care!:( i came for a visit a month after closing, the laminate floor creeks everywhere you step on it downstairs, is it missing something underneath???- a new floor should not creek everywhere you step. Poor install???? Also I noticed front shutter warping out - this should not happen to a shutter with in 5 weeks of closing! I’d love to know if this is the quality and customer service Lennar is about? Very disappointed! Closed sale and been ghosted by customer care! ... More

The overall purchase experience from reserving to closing could have been better. We find different folks from sales support to loan, there always been some errors or omissions. After closing, we did a walkthrough the home, and we immediately find out when we standing in the kitchen, the floor bounces when the garage fire door closes. We then test the stability of the floor with others walking around the house, and we also felt the floor slightly bounces as others walk around the home. We mentioned to Lennar representatives but he asked us to submit a response. We also can hear neighbor in downstair when they were in garage and feel the floor bounces when they closes their garage door. We are very sensitive to movements, and with Lennar building these multi-family homes with families in different levels, this is simply disturbing to us. We feel there should be better support of joist for 2nd floor and insulation of noises from families. We also see many amenities are missing such as medicine cabinets and towel racks in the bathrooms.. ... More

when you move in to a new construction home, you expect it to be clean & tidy, unfortunately that wasn't the case. the bathrooms were left extremely dirty. was disappointed to see that.

I TRULLY WILL RECOMMEND LENNAR TO FRIENDS AND CLIENTS. I REALLY APRECIATED ALL SUPPORT GIVEN.

Even though leading up to closing day was so stressful, Ms. Carolyn made it all worthwhile. From my initial contact with her to the present, Ms. Carolyn was extremely helpful and honest!!! On closing day, my bank delayed the wire transfer until after closing time but she stayed around until confirmation came from the title office. Definitely have to give a shout out to the guys that did the final walkthrough. They were authentic and personable. They answered all my questions and gave contact information if I needed assistance. Great Team!!!!

We wish there was more support and clarity from the staff for various milestones. On closing we didn't get to experience anything special about our repeat purchase with Lennar.

This wasn’t the experience I was expecting as a first time home buyer. So truly, as a first time buyer, it’s disappointing. The only good thing about it all was working with the salesperson. Amanda was friendly and responsive. However, a rocky start with the lender as she was completely unresponsive. It took a couple weeks before I was told she wasn’t with the company and had to begin over with someone new. So overall, wouldn’t recommend. It felt rushed and when final walk through date arrived, it felt deceiving because I was told some issues that the home inspector found on his report had been “fixed” during the week prior. I’m dealing with things now that apparently weren’t. I felt I couldn’t get the home inspector to return and check b/c closing was on the same date as final walk through & was told I’d lose the rate that was part of the sale in January if we waited any longer (even though it had already been extended once). My only positive thought is that this will not be my forever home and this was a lesson learned for me. ... More
