Great experience getting a home right away and approved. However, the Fridgeaire fridge started leaking at the bottom the week we moved in. We placed a couple tickets in to have it looked at & no response from Lennar about fixing the issue or replacing our brand new fridge. Lennar said it’s a known issue that the fridge’s ice machines leak.

We have a lot of issues in different areas including electric and flooring issues, currently are in getting repair but takes too long since report is done to got an response

Sales: Bobbi, the sales agent I worked with was excellent and knowledgable. Warranty: Heather and the virtual warranty team seem to be proactive with reported items, although several that were reported over the last two months don't have appointments scheduled and other trades scheduled their appoinments quickly. Some warranty repairs were not made properly, very disappointing. Lennar needs to hire another pool company to make the warranty repairs and charge back to Holiday Pools since they aren't interested in repairing my pool/spa issues.

Most of the materials were of good quality. The carpeting and padding was disappointing.

Low quality building materials have presented numerous issues that could not be addressed until the home was lived in. I’m not confident in the longevity of the items used. Ease of closing and the responsive team are the only two reasons this isn’t a 1-2 star rating.

Hoping they correct all defects. Only in home 2 mo . We will see if they correct all defects to model home and construction standards...

Neighborhood, floor plan, and home finishes drew us to the home. Dissatisfied with quality and energy efficiency.

Overall ok experance. Communication was biggest problem make your realtor keeps you informed of all aspects of the buying and building process.

The easiest/best part was interaction with the construction manager Justin. He communicated if there were delays or issues that arose.

The overall experience was pretty good. There was a lack of response and “weekly” updates as it got closer to my house being finished, the expectations set in the beginning were that updates would be more frequent the closer we got to the finish line. The first walk thru was very thorough. Some issues found in the second walk thru(siding falling off my house), fridge not being level, took over a month to get fixed and it took submitting several tickets to the customer service department. The customer care rep I have now is very responsive and after I got in touch with the siding company, they had my issue fixed in a couple of days. Overall, I love my house. A few things I would change are the paint and carpet. Everything that touches the wall makes a mark and the carpet is starting to come up in the doorways. The pool in the community is still not finished(I started this journey in august 2021) and looks like it will be great for about 10 children when it is completed next summer. Our sales agent, Julie L. and walk through guide, Jamie, were terrific. They responded to our questions and concerns pretty quickly, considering how busy they got. The construction material for walls, standard tiles, and standard floors are Ok. I was surprised but not shocked to find they use 1/4 inch drywall. But so far, we don't hear our neighbors, so the insulation is decent. However, the Lennar escrow company is a huge pain. They were slow to provide requested standard docs (like disclosures or insurance policies) to our lender -- our loan officer had to ask (emails & phone calls) at least 5 times over the course of 2-3 weeks. But the escrow company wanted loan docs in 1 (one) day when we were still in the process of getting paperwork signed and/or submitted. Admittedly, the underwriters needed at least 1 day to respond. LENNAR'S ESCROW COMPANY gets tons of complaints -- especially by buyers who use their own mortgage lenders! So keep that in mind. Post-closing: We found problems with the dryer and oven. Lennar told us to deal with GE ourselves for the dryer, but did send electricians to fix the oven light. ... More

Lennar wants everything to be done right away as far as paperwork during the escrow process but when they are the ones that need to send or sign a document they can be slow. Our closing date was postpones several weeks because Lennar and our lender too took forever to respond. The worst came after move in though. Two days after moving in our guest bedroom flooded. They were quick to send a plumber but........it's been 2 months and our guest bedroom is still not done. And they are not even nice about it. I mean I like to be understanding and not push people but there are people that just don't appreciate your patience you know. Overall, home purchasing process was good. The Lennar representatives were very helpful and accommodating. Especially, Klarissa with Stonebook/Ridgeview releases. This only thing we wish is that materials used in this build were of higher quality. We’ve already had to repair the shower after only a few months of use. The home value is compromised when lower quality materials are used in the home.

Overall we had a great buying experience with Lennar. We did go through a less than attentive sales person early in the process, but that was resolved by the regional sales manager stepping in and picking up the slack towards the end. I would recommend Lennar for any future buyer.

Was told walk thru was on a certain date and closing to follow , but after 3.5 weeks of rescheduling and stories we finally closed, there was no consideration or reimbursement for staying in a hotel for that period of time as the building was no wear near finished upon our arrival in Florida,

many post- Move in craftsmanship issues; we expected that there would be greater attention to detail… lennar project leaders were prompt and courteous relative to submitted claims to fix the issues; however, we believe many of the issues should have been identified / resolved before we moved in

I've lived in my home for 45 days now, and am generally satisfied overall; however, there are some items to note if you're going into a home buying experience here. Make sure you know your colorways and are happy with them prior to agreeing to purchase the home. Don't let the salespeople, construction team, warranty people, or anyone force you into anything. For the price paid for the home, the construction was reasonable and workmanship was okay.. but you'd expect more attention to detail and prompt follow-up to correct minor issues and ensure the customer is happy. I've had false promises given multiple times (items being fixed prior to close that weren't, screens installed in June [still haven't seen them]), missed meetings/no shows multiple times (to have fixes approved/damage verified). If you can swing it, get an inspection done pre-close, and get another one done at ~11 months to ensure your home is what it should be. Upon move in, we had no hot water (gas was turned off and system had to be reset), a wall full of non-working electrical (literal wires WITH electricity not connected to the GFCIs), non-functioning water dispenser from fridge (valve was off), smart devices NOT hooked up (although the literature said everything but ~2 items would be), mounds of dirty ontop of concrete supports in the basement, baseboards needing cleaned, a faulty window, and more. Be thorough in your inspections during meetings or general walk throughs, annotate everything, and submit everything through the warranty portal as it comes up so hopefully you get resolution within the 1-year mark of homeownership. ... It’s really hard to communicate with the office staff, once closing came they didn’t care about multiple issues included those mentioned regarding the house. Response times are extremely high, with people having to follow up multiple times to get a response.

Overall, we really enjoy the new home we bought from Lennar. However, this place's sound insulation is horrible! We live in a town home and have neighbors left and right. The garage is in the first floor, everyday we can hear our neighbor's car door close when they get home, also when they go up and down to the stairs. The builder said there are multilpe dry wall inbetween each unit, so techniquelly, we don't really share the same wall with others. But we still hear foot steps, doors in the house closing, sometimes even their TV.

I feel like if my husband and I didn't point out a lot of things that were not done correctly, they would have let it slide. We've had neighbors complain about things missing from their home or not done well. People are in the excitement of getting a new home, there needs to be people in their corner making sure their home is what is expected.

The purchasing process of buying my home was smooth and easy. Working with the loan processors proved to be remarkably easy, even with the VA involved). Had to close remotely (12 May 22). House keys "got lost" between the closing coordinator and Butler & College. Closing coordinator (Erika) proved to be a waste of time. Alot of finger pointing between Erika and Butler & College. Closing/Escrow Manager (Brittney) joins conversation and appears helpful. Statements surmised to resolve situation in 3 days (email dated 17 May22). I follow up with emails and phone calls on 20 May 22 and 23 May 22. No response. Brittney's voicemail box is now full. Brittney and Erika have not returned any emails or phone calls since 17 May 22. I resort to emailing everyone I have ever been in contact with, who is employed by Lennar. Penny (in sales) rejoins the conversation. Gets house and mail box rekeyed in less than 2 days. She FedEx overnighted the keys to me. Keys finally in hand on 27 May 22. I have the email chains to corroborate this synopsis. House keys delivered to me, 2 weeks after closing is absolutely unacceptable. I presume Penny paid for the rekey of the house and mailbox, then the delivery from her own pocket. She deserves big blue cape with the Lennar logo on it, a managerial position, and a healthy bonus. She saved the whole operation. That the star rating isn't at the bottom is because of Penny and to a lesser extent the Loan Officer Department (Alison & Julie). Love having everything included. Could have done a much better job with home cleanliness when we received it. Both interior and exterior needed major cleaning. Follow up to warranty requests are not as timely as they could be. Otherwise, purchasing experience, framing walk through, and home layout are beautiful.
