I was unable to be at the property during building, I reside NJ but should not have had bad service because of that. Everything was rushed at the end because there was a delay on the floor and I assume Lennar had to meet a quota. I was told several times that I had to close on a home that was incomplete, where they could get a temporary CO. I hired my own inspector to confirm that there were serious issues. I reluctantly closed on April 13th and not surprisingly the issues still have not been addressed. Damaged kitchen and bathroom door fronts, supposedly at least one was replacement was ordered, other fronts of cabinets are paint sprayed maybe to cover damage?, replacement pocket door where hardward was severely misaligned, paint all over pavers in front and rear, damaged access door to attic, garage floor still unfinished and then there are lots of small issues. I've wanted to rent out this property while not there but do not want renters to be inconvenienced so therefore I'm losing money every month that I have to wait. I talked to my next door neighbor who said it took Lennar more than 6 months to resolve his problems. I did not want to close on this house until the major issues were resolved but I was promised that they would continue on my house to resolve the issues. No one has stepped foot in the house since April 13th and its now May 30th. I know now I am at the bottom of the list and of no concern since I've closed. I would never recommend this team to anyone. I am a realtor in NJ and work with Lennar all the time. They've always had my clients best interest at heart and the reason that I went with Lennar. The service here in NJ has far surpassed what I experienced. I'm hoping by writing this, my issues will get resolved but not too optimistic. I've called many times and my calls go unanswered. Even the warranty company has not responded. I really wish that I hadn't bought with Lennar. I have many clients that relocate to Florida and unfortunately I cannot give a good recommendation. ... The whole process of home buying was very easy, organized and easy. Photos of the house going up at every stage was punctual and available; the person in charge of Contruction, sales manager, concierge and liaison person were all very available and attentive. This made the whole process less stressful especially because we are out of town a lot .

3 month delay in closing, sales people throw in our face that they have 2 years to complete per state statutes. Cost us a lot of money for extended stay hotels and storage while they dragged their feet in getting the house built(and NO concessions at all). Wanted a pool home, none were available, with the huge delay, they could have incorporated it in the build. The sales person was always "we can't do that" Very poor customer service. The construction manager was great and the only bright spot in this transaction.

Salesman David not as responsive as I would have expected. Good: quick transaction (I paid cash). Aaron and Patrick the builder reps we're excellent: responsive, professional, helpful.

After sale Cx service is great and team is helpful however home is poorly built. There is no quality assurance audit before closing it seems. Too many issues- gaps in roof siding, cooktop don’t work, doors don’t seal, window frame broken, secondary water heater unit doesn’t work, sprinkler system has leaky water hose, walls are not straight, no electric outlets in laundry room for iron or vacuum cleaner. Seems like someone walked on Insulation in attic- compressed. Also, we had a water leak from furnace drip pan before we moved in- water puddle on attic floor. 10 inch Metal rod is sticking out in lawn and much more. Home closing was delayed by several months. Overall bad buying experience, poor customer service skills by construction manager. Good part- Terri from after sale warranty team is helping and has great CX service skills. Thank you Terri! ... Sales person was difficult to get a hold of and the process was a bit chaotic especially at the end. Wish things were a little more customizable, like adding a walk in/stone shower, a covered back patio, different backsplash choices etc. Those options are VERY limited but for the price we got more home than with other builders. Overall happy with the home and Lennar has been responsive to a few issues that have popped up since we moved in.

The process was fine except for the closing date being pushed so many times i almost lost hope. But that kind of thing is expected.

I have bought twice from Lennar, townhouse at first then moved into a villa. I was pleased with the level of workmanship that went into both places and the design. Like any new builds there has been some warranty work which Lennar complete. However, it does seem that the warranty sometimes gets delayed or perhaps forgotten. Once they start the work then it’s done in a timely matter.

For the money spent, I am disappointed. Issues range from customer service to craftsmanship

We overall like Monroe Parke and our new townhouse. We had quite a few issues before moving in and after (paint was sub par with lots of missed areas). The major issue was the rain that leaked into my office. It was a pretty big deal and even now, I don't know if there's already damage done. I wish the development has more open space, park, field space. Not much outdoor space considering this is a new development and built in an open field.

There was a lack of attention to detail nearly across the board with trade skills. Carpentry, electrical, you name it. Even landscaping. This house feels like it was rushed to be completed. It feels like everyone was more concerned with hitting a deadline versus quality. The quality check process is not sufficient. Promises made by construction manager were not always followed through on. Gave up trading pretty quickly. Overwhelmed or stretched too thin? Don’t know, but if I was to buy another new build I will have to think twice about Lennar.

The quality of the home is marginally OK. One doesn’t really notice things until after move-in, but then you start to notice the defects. We haven’t gotten a timely response to a couple of warranty issues. The price was good and we’re happy with the location.

I thoroughly enjoyed buying a home from Lennar. The process was easy, especially, since I was living in another state. All the team members were extremely responsive and caring. I would definitely recommend Lennar homes.

Our customer service experience has been disappointing. The home was not clean when we did our walkthrough nor was it clean when we signed off although we were promised it would be. The floors were covered with dust and dirt and paint spots throughout when we moved in. We had to call our customer service rep - he never responded. After reaching out that evening and including Donnie, he responded first thing the next morning and he himself came over to inspect the situation. He then immediately sent someone over who spent over two hours removing paint spots from our floors followed by a cleaning crew to clean them. Very disappointing to move into my brand new house with filthy, spot-ridden floors that we were told TWICE would be ( and should have been) clean BEFORE we moved in. Thank goodness our furniture had not arrived until a few days later. Donnie was a wonderful asset throughout our experience - always quick to respond and communicative. Angela was good about responding as well. Unfortunately the dirty floor incident really tainted our move in experience. The build quality of the home is good but not great. Lots of small things were done sloppily such as paint trim, excess concrete splotches around the doors and foundation lines, drywall imperfections, etc. we have several warped kitchen cabinets that indicated new ones were ordered on 3/16 during our walkthrough that we just recently found out from Kurt were never ordered so now we are still waiting for those. The point is, human error happens, we get that, but there has definitely been a lack of follow through to rectify the issues. This is our second Lennar new home purchase and we had high expectations for this one since the first home we bought in University Ridge in Reno in 2007 was such a great experience but unfortunately the bar was lowered. Probably the best value condos in the Cota Vera community. Definitely impressed by the quality of work and turnaround time on the build. Still learning about my home. But for the most part, when questions arise and I reach out, Lennar is pretty responsive.

Would have liked to have had more flexibility in making minor changes.

Having a new home built can be a frustrating and at times downright an emotional journey. In the past we have bought new from another large national builder. As a direct comparison I feel overall Lennar is a better value and gives you a bit more quality components. Things like Low E Glass, Tile Back Splash, Screened Lanai where other builders did not. Our upgraded gourmet kitchen looks and feels quality. We are glad we took that option. Same with bathrooms With that said, like almost any builder, at least the large ones, quality is all over the board in regards to the specific contractors that are used and Lennars own staff who draw up the actual plans. We have had some funky, issues, doors that dont align properly or better said just not as they should be, horrible cement driveway, electrical outlets and tv outlets in places that make no sense, for example what good was a TV outlet behind the master bedroom door? Then another TV outlet placed outside in the Lanai but missing in the main entertaining room of the house, the family room. A telephone jack that was behind the kitchen tile. The fit and finish on our French doors are far from quality do to messed up installation and painting they remain that way. (we didnt call Lennar on this yet) The bottom line is this stuff should not happen but it does and it does because I feel the pressure is on to get these homes closed ASAP. With that said, believe it or not, the above issues are not deal killers, these things can happen with any new home, after all homes are built one by one and the structure itself is good, just annoying sloppy work and or careless by some contractors and although the construction manager is nice we felt left a little out in the cold. Ok, with all the above said, would I recommend Lennar to a friend? YES WHY? because this stuff happens, the structure is good and HERE IS THE KEY. Lennars warranty people and system are TOP NOTCH. Absolutely fantastic group of people who try like heck to make things right, keeping in mind they are having the same contractors come back to fix their mistakes. Our cement company was the worst but looks like thanks to our warranty person, is looking like it's been taken care of. This is the key, Lennar is there for us after the sale. The warranty experience and follow up I feel puts them at the top of the class with respect to ALL builders. So as much as one might think this is a negative review, it really isnt. We do feel without question things should have been addressed during construction and our construction manager addressed our concerns but feel he knew about others that he kept to himself and also feel he is only there to get things done to only an acceptable level and hope we dont notice other stuff. But let me repeat, none of this matters, because any issues after the sale, you can call direct their warranty dept or actually just scan a QR code with your phone, report the issue and the follow up by the warranty department will knock you off you feet, they are that good. Being a first time home buyer, I wasn’t familiar with the process of purchasing a home. The information required was understandable since it’s a large purchase however it was time consuming and extremely detailed. Once that was complete I thought the worst part is over. I was wrong. One week prior to signing my papers I was told it needed to be extended, I understood. The second part, I was told that the home I was purchasing (which was completed except for minor details) was inspected and it was valued at about 13K more that I was paying. I was told I needed to pay that difference. At this point I understood the price was set, as well as my down payment and monthly mortgage. I couldn’t afford to pay this amount. I was then told what can I pay and I stated I couldn’t afford anymore. The agent stated he would contact the area president and would explain why I couldn’t pay the full amount but was able to pay an additional 1K. I was told of this offer was declined, I wouldn’t be moving into my home. I was upset, and was ready to give up. After a couple of days I was informed my offer was accepted and I’d be receiving a final overview of my down payment and the other details involved. Upon reviewing my documents I noticed that they increased my down payment by 6K more. This was the third time my down payment was increased. I was pretty upset. I was explained why, which was something that was previously discussed with an agreement and solution. My overall experience was horrible and I feel somewhere in this process someone messed up and tried to get me to pay for the mistake. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend. Now I’m moved and it’s been more issues, such as my A/C and electrical issues that apparently are not up to code. I signed my papers latter part of March and moved first week in April and still dealing with electrical issue. ... More

Having problems with incomplete exterior painting. The interior painting was okay except for massive over spray onto the appliances from painting the cabinets. The sink was chipped and was to be replaced or fixed-that was never done. The sprinkler system is confusing and hard to check if it is working. Hoping that there will not be a lot of problems with the a/c since it has been to cold to use it. The garage door seals were improperly installed and were never fixed. The screen was to be replaced due to concrete being smeared on it and that was never done. Exterior grading was not done. Don't know if these quality control issues are normal with new builds. ... The quality in some places is not really good, fences, grass installation, wall constructions, paint and price is really high vs quality.

Good starter home that is priced better than most other new construction in the area. But, upon closer inspection, there’s always small problems that aren’t major dealbreakers but always a nuance. Customer service is not much better. Online portal to submit requests, disjointed team that doesn’t communicate well with one another. Work orders that drag on for what seems like an eternity. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re able to find a good deal elsewhere.
