It’s been 2 months and still haven’t had our 30 day..

The lines between ceiling and wall were poorly taped, so much of the house has a bead of gray paint on the ceiling along the edges. The walls were clearly beaten up and patch jobs were attempted along with poor paint cover. Essentially, for a brand new house, it looks like we need to repaint the entire thing on the interior. This is the largest and most obvious issue.

My mom purchased this house because she wanted something brand new, not old and in need of work. The house is nothing fancy, but solid.

My experiences differed depending on the stage of the home buying process and which department I was dealing with.

There are certain expectations you have when paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a new home. I will say that Lennar has done a great job of making things right over time but with a rush to build homes, there are details missing that shouldn't have gotten by. They need to slow down and ensure things are done correctly the first time. The most upsetting for me is the low quality dishwasher that was put in our home. I certainly expected more after being a homeowner for more than 20 years. We are still happy with our purchase overall and hope that Lennar takes steps to improve.

Good people working for the company. Responsive but generally the company went cheap on some areas such as materials for the walls and sound proof material between apartments. Low quality elevator, drywalls, cabinet material, etc.

Went fine till the end. Quality of finishes was below expectation. Sloppy work by finishers-grout on baseboards, poor seams on door casings, touch up paint in wrong sheen. Just sloppy. Lennar staff was great. Just poor oversight of subs.

Decent price for the location, very good price for size of house and lot given the current house situation. Materials used is a joke; from the pre-installed kitchen appliances (the stove vent doesn't even vent anywhere HAHA!), to the paint, the floor to the roof. It is all of the least expensive material. I can appreciate cutting costs for the homeowner however to what end? The homeowner will more than likely have to replace most of the cheap material very soon anyway. Oh and their warranty program is a joke. I still have paint all over my floor, someone came by attempted to clean a small portion of it with paint thinner then said just keep washing with soap and water, that'll do it. Riiiiiggghhht.. ... We were told that a subcontractor would be by to fix issues with the bathroom tub. The subcontractor has not contacted us or come by to fix the problem. We had COVID three days after occupancy and have not anything to follow up since we have recovered. Other than that issue the home is as advertised. Not the best workmanship but it is fine for a tract home.

Builders need workers that care about the work they do.

Buying a home is the most expensive purchase most people will make. This was my 3rd new home, and it went better than the others. I felt as though the dollar was the first priority.

Great location, floor plans, quality of the material, attentiveness

Everybody was great. The only question I would answer low on is the value for the price paid. Not a fair question in Colorado. Nothing is worth what you pay in Colorado.

As a repeat home buyer, the experience was good but not great.

Communication and updates before the closing date.

The home is of good quality, however I think the 10 month punch-list will be long (protruding nails, settlement cracks, etc.). The home was delayed by 3 months, with no real explanation as to why. Other homes signed after ours were completed first, very aggravating. The laminate flooring is very poor quality and is easy to scratch. Overall we do love our house, but wish we had better quality in some of the workmanship and materials.

The offer process was extremely stressful & drove the home prices above where they should be. They did not honor the people who were on the waitlist for several months, waiting for their homes.

Customer care is good, they solve the issues but not as fast as it must be, the workmanship is terrible and the materials are scarce.

The sales staff was very attentive and respectful.

Too bad you folks are so busy trying to close sales, because it does take away from buyer attention & needs. It must be nice to pre -sell your entire inventory. It shows that You are building homes of good value!

Overall, I had a good experience with Lennar for their D.C.-area division. I've seen horrible things for them in other parts of the country but I can't complain too much. I came into my development during the close out phase so things were already rolling in terms of what they were willing to do. Sales agent was great and responsive. The construction side was also strong with customer service. No home is perfect particularly modern homes. I would encourage anyone with any builder to carefully pay attention during the final walkthroughs and make sure they fix everything that needs to be fixed before you close. LENNAR is very responsive during whole process

I love my home, and I have learned a valuable lesson. Lennar does not follow through on the process

We were really involved with the building of our house from Day 1. We checked the construction progress everyday. We took a lot of pictures every step of the way and let the Building Manager know when we had issues. You're the buyer, take control!

Please help us with customer service. It's taking weeks and months to get things fixed. PLEASE HELP???!!!
