My home is lovely and so far I am happy that I moved here. It has been very difficult getting settled, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was disappointed because we had and misunderstanding about the elevation of the house. it was probably more my fault but I still wish it looked differently. The only problem we’ve encountered so far is getting small things fixed that are troublesome. I’m still happy that I moved to Gettysburg . And I would do it again.

I recently learned that Lennar used inferior shingles for the roofing. The sales person was pleasant, helpful and responsive though

Fast process of buying, adjusting of price and accessibility was very convenient. Till now, no mayor issues with the house quality/material used to build. Only thing I will highly suggest or highlight is for Lennar to keep an eye on the labor quality. It’s was obvious to see that the work/building crew did some mediocre job. Some electric wires were crossed and wrong installed. Fence was not completely closed in, shower drainage cover was glued to the floor instead screwed.

Sales team - I really liked Greg and the approachability. He was responsive and a great listener. He is customer focused and tries to get what customer want to his ability. House Finishing - It is good but can be better from painting, roof, grading, dry wall etc., Lacking to give the buyer a feel of completion/complete home - Lennar need to improve on giving the feel of completion. I mentioned it to sales and construction team. There are many things which are incomplete or not up to standard or not up to current generation ask like 1. Garage door opener is very old version which do not support wifi or app, 2. Second garage is not equipped with opener, buyer should install it. How much would it cost to builder for this or to that matter add this to the total cost. Why would you want buyer to get this done? 3. When blinds are given, I was told sliding door blind is not part of complete home blind installation. Does it not sound stupid, again same question - Why would you want buyer to get this done? 4. Fencing - I understand fencing is optional for most builders and back yard landscaping is personal, but my question is why can't builder give a standard fence for all and same question - Why would you want buyer to get this done? 5. Cabinet door handles - Why can't Lennar provide door handles, which is a common ask for every household? If buyer installs them then Lennar says cabinet doors warranty will be voided. This is so smart to get the doors out of warranty. 6. Ground cracks - despite follow up, ground cracks on basement or drive way are not done. 7. I understand Lennar has a policy of fixed specs but at least the sales team should clearly say what is part of package and what is not. Showing the model home and claimed it will be same but in reality it was different which dishearten at times. 8. Lennar may not need to provide the latest equipment but they can step up to provide the equipment which can satisfy the current generation instead of giving old or faded equipment like doors are not equipped with smart locks, way old garage door openers, refrigerator, bathroom accessories, wifi switches, blinds, etc., Warranty support team - Need to appreciate Tim and support on the warranty requests. I recently had my home built by Lennar, and I would describe their workmanship as average. The construction was completed on time, and the overall design met our expectations. However, we noticed some minor issues with the finishing details and quality of materials used. While nothing was a dealbreaker, we did have to follow up on a few items that required additional attention. Lennar's customer service was responsive and addressed our concerns, but we felt the initial craftsmanship could have been more thorough. Regarding value for price paid, I have some reservations. For example, this $405,000+ house didn’t come with toilet paper holders! They had to be installed after I moved in! The bigger issue for me is the almost complete lack of follow up and prompt fixing of structural and other issues found after I moved in. Two emails, regarding structural and other issues that need to be addressed, sent more than two weeks ago, to the Customer Care Representative, have not even been acknowledged leave alone responded to. I would have given zero stars to Responsiveness to issues if that option was available. I hope a live person will read this and get back to me soon. ... More

There's always gonna be something wrong whether it's a new build or an older home. With that being said, the luxury of having a new build is that you have warranties. Lennar was helpful with the interest rate and closing cost. I just wish that when you do need a repair they would make it easier without always happening to have a virtual meeting even though you upload pictures and videos from that then somebody will come out which is another day, you have to takeoff and then for them to fulfill the order and that's if it's done correctly, the first time around.

Most of my experiences were great. The painters were a joke and couldn’t even use the correct paint to do patches. Carpet Installers are inexperienced and need to be trained better so that way you can’t feel all the strips through the carpet.

Waiting for clarification on the above. Now my concern is after some touch up after patio construction that I may have to re-fog coat or paint 3 elevations. to fix the discoloration.

I was so excited to find a home that fit my budget. The floor plan was perfect. The location convenient for shopping and providing easy access to local events and entertainment options. Reality set in. Quality of home, once I remembered I wasn't in the luxury market, is acceptable. Pay attention when you do your final walkthrough to minimize return visits from the trades to fix issues. Quality of appliances that were included were entry level builders models. Be prepared to buy your own refrigerator and laundry appliances. Lennar builds homes at a variety of levels. I'm sure their more expensive models include bells and whistles - that's built into the price. I'm grateful they also have a product for those with lower resources who can still have something to be happy to own. ... More

We purchased a POND VIEW for an additional premium and after closing a 6 foot privacy fence was installed blocking any view of the pond. Lennar knew they were installing this fence but waited until all units were under contract before doing this. We would never have purchased this lot if we knew we paid to look at a high white fence for the rest of our lives. I'm also sure this review will never see the light of day!

Tom in the office was great. Sharmin in customer care was excellent. John and Travis, both construction managers, could use some training on repairs and communication with homeowners.

Shower tub can be better. It’s plastic all over driveway. They can put some scorn light. I am also the living room and bedroom. They can put some ceiling fan. And last in the kitchen, they can put some backsplash thank you.

Received several update videos along the way. Responses were timely to my questions. House completed by date we were told. Good experience

In the beginning with the walk through things was great. Afterwards a different story. Disappointed with the overall general contractors making sure that the workers did a thorough and complete job on things that needed cleaning up. Will have to do the job myself on touch ups that looked not so clean. Cleaning crew did a halfway job on a very nice new build home look it's best. Had an issue with new stove provided by Lennar and called the customer care personnel never got a follow-up call to see if my issue was resolved. On a positive note. The sales consultant and the financial personnels was fabulous. They made the process simple and stress free. The rest need to take pointers from this part of the team. I am thankful for this blessing; it would have been nice if the other half came through on their promises. ... More

There are no towel racks or linen closets; don’t understand considering the price we paid. Air conditioning doesn’t seem to work properly; there is no garage door to the back yard and no Windows in the garage doors making the garage space dark. Don’t like being required to have the solar system and it is under powered. The front doors are cheap and the inside paint is cheap. We love our Lennar sales person Daniela Bell though!

Complicated, not easy process at all

Overall extremely smooth process. The build quality and materials arent near as good as older generation homes you can tell they cut corners to pump them out. They do deserve credit as the home team does repair what is messed up so praise to them and credit where due.

Overall we were pleased.. but it’s the little things.. The basement floor was left filthy/dusty.. we asked about getting it cleaned & told yes & nothing happened, spare bedrooms have no lighting..(recessed lighting would be nice touch), don’t put sprinkler heads where decks/patios are going.. Lennar knows that is the wrong location. Have the sales team know more of the community with out asking for that information ( activity lists, board members contact)Charlie doing a good job onsite.

The kitchen came equipped with 4 appliances. There were installation issues with 2 of them. Our first morning in the home, we could smell gas under the cook top. We called the emergency number provided by Lennar, only to be told this was not considered an emergency. We had the gas company come out, who said the gas line had been installed improperly. After a week, the dishwasher stopped draining. We went through the procedure required by Lennar to report the issue. It took 7 days to file a claim. A representative came out the next day to inspect the problem and determined it was a faulty appliance and that we needed to contact the manufacturer. Three days later, a tech arrived from the manufacturer, who determined that the appliance had been installed incorrectly. ... More

Our sales rep, Aaron was fantastic. He was and still is a great resource to continue to have. Our lender, Peter, through Lennar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the process seamless. The woman in Lennar title, Leigh, was incredibly condescending and rude the handful of times we had to speak with her. We had to deal with her at the very end of the purchase process and she really put a sour taste in our mouths. We realize we cannot expect perfection, however, when you are spending $600k+ on a home, you have high expectations. - The finishes used are incredibly cheap and outdated - Some of the contractors used did not take time or pride in their work and it shows - The grass installed was dead in most areas when we did our walkthrough and this was mentioned and nothing was done - The home was missing about 15% of insulation in our attic. This has since been resolved after 1 month of living here. - Anywhere there is tile, grout haze and stains are plentiful. We don’t expect absolute cleanliness when we move in, but the grout stains should be removed, as they don’t come off easily. - When receiving the home, there was a clear miss on providing details related to the community, HOA, trash service etc. There should be a packet of information for the homeowner. Good thing Aaron, our sales rep, is around and has helped us navigate it all. - We even had a contractor walk into our home post-move, with his own key opened the door and walked right in. He was very apologetic, but the fact that this happened was not great. These are just some of the issues that we’ve experienced. I’m thankful to have some things fixed/corrected but others cannot be. Each builder will have their pros/cons, I just wish these homes weren’t built so quickly because the quality tends to decline when you have contractors just doing whatever they can, however fast they can, to finish the job and move to the next. ... Everytime request repair have go to online, take a while, tile crack can't get repair, blame homeowners.

Homebuying experience was good. No major issues.

Over all I am pleased but there has been a couple issues.

Major complaint was in the lawn. Sod was placed haphazardly. Very uneven and hazardous to walk on. High spots and low spots can cause ankle twists and tripping.
