finishing touches, like trim work, garage, doors very poor.

The entire build process was great. Our sales rep kept us informed and although the lot we chose already had begun construction, Lennar allowed us to make several interior changes (floors, counters, and couple other items :) The one item Lennar MUST work on is their Closing procedure. On the day of close for our final walk thru/inspection, there were still 10 people inside working on the home! It is impossible to conduct a walk thru inspection to view potential deficiencies with construction still going on! Lennar should have pushed the Close by a day or two. Lennar robbed us of the new home experience on the day of close and left us with a bad taste. To their credit however, it did take a couple months, but Lennar did fix all the deficiencies in the home. The site manager unfortunately did not pick up on any of the clues about us being incredibly unhappy. During the final walk thru before Close, He arrived about 15 minutes late, on his phone and went right into his purpose of being there. He did not even introduce himself. I had to stop him, and introduce myself and my wife, and then once he finally made eye contact he realized that he was being unaware of his environment. He didn't do any of the basic fundamentals of an introduction to make us feel comfortable. After living there for a few months there are a couple of weird design flaws. For example, the exterior hose is on the wrong side of the house. It is away from the garage. How can you clean out the garage floor or wash your car? You need a 50/75 foot hose just to reach! With all that said, I do love my home. We have a Norwood Model and it really is awesome! I love coming home everyday, pulling in the driveway and can't help but smile, because this IS my home. ... The workmanship ,details final finish in out was very sloppy. Have someone inspect the work while in process and be more detail oriented.

Good with quality and delivery of building

We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.

Lennar is a big company and will push you around if you let them. Don’t let them. Workmanship is ok, it’s goibg to depend on the contractors they hire. Just make sure you keep track of things and don’t let them get away with poor workmanship. Full disclosure: Our house was prebuilt so we didn’t get that chance and your mileage may vary.

So far I have really enjoyed living in McQueen Landing. The homes are very nice and the sales and construction staff are friendly. I am glad I moved to this community and I look forward to living here!

The workmanship of the home could be better. The home is settling really quickly, showing some work that could've been done better. There are no walk-out basements which was not disclosed and no porch or patio out back which also was not disclosed. There is water pouring outside the back of the home constantly and I don't know why. This "new" stuff is not all that great.

The home we bought from Lennar is perfect for us to downsize into. The floor plan is perfect for empty nesters. Lennar did provide a lot of extras for the price of the house. For the most part Lennar has responded to issues we have. One area that we have been ignored on is the grading in the back of the house. I feel there is a low area that needs attention but have not been able to get them to respond even after sending pictures of ponding. Nail popping on the walls is not considered a warranty item. I do wish builders would use screws to install sheetrock inside the house to avoid the issue of nails popping out in the walls. I believe most builders take the same approach. House is made of goof products but Lennar tends to rush some of the construction in which now warranty has to get involved and that is a never winning battle. Overall the house is good, the grading is bad, but we are happy overall.

I missed some things on walk thru and I called to get items to be fixed, and now I was told that is a cleaning issue and that is not per design. So be sure to take your time and mark anything you want to be fixed otherwise you will have to fix the items yourself. So I am having to fix items myself that I should have flagged. The red dirt stained several items on front entry now I will have to paint and do lots of scrubbing! The home needed cleaning before I moved in also but was not. Dust on everything including paint spatter on stove. I’ve been here a month and still cleaning and finding other stuff. But when it’s all done the home will be beautiful. I guess this is normal for moving into a new home. And the home I chose and was buying got changed at the last minute to next door. I thought it was ok but no, now I have half the yard I would have had. That’s why I gave a three star on trust. ... More

After living in the home for a little more than a month we have come to find some issues with the cheapness of some of the materials used to buld the home and the lack of quality on the home build itself. With the amount that we paid for the home we expected better but it not just and issue with Lennar its generally with j ome builders as a whole these days. Lack of workmanship, quality and corners being cut to save money for the builders

Love the house, but the problem is.. my warranty deed says one city, but I have to put a different city for shipping purposes. Some companies dont acknowledge/pull up the physical address at all in their systems. Should have been told this in the beginning. Paying one city's taxes bit having g to put another one for daily life. Makes no sense

Lennar makes some beautiful home, and the process and quick. My only issue is the information the sales and construction manager did not provide the correct information. For example landscaping. They told me I will need to maintain my lawn.which is fine. I specifically ask who maintains the lakes lawn. I was told the HOA will. It’s part of the Masters fee. But that wasn’t true And other issues is I ask about the lake behind my house. I ask was there anything in the lake. I was told no it’s a man made lake. Come to find out there is two alligators in it. Now I can’t let my small dogs out or my kids. It’s just a lot of small questions that was provided incorrect information Other than that I love my new house! ... More

I was very surprised to get a great price for the size of a newly constructed home. However, after just the first week of moving in, I had to place 7 warranty claims on defects for certain materials. For example, it has been over a month and I am still have not received a new lock for my front door!

The biggest issues are that the shared walls aren't nearly as dampening as I was told, and that the paint job was very light/rushed. I assume it was all just sprayed on, but they should have put a thicker coat on because the slightest bump takes the paint off. The ACT D'MAND remote also doesn't work far enough to make a difference. Aside from that and a few cosmetic things they left (e.g. paint on locks), it's a comfortable place. Except for the dishwasher--which cleans well but whose interface is very cheap--the appliances are great. Even with the windows closed and a 90º day, it doesn't feel very warm except on the upper floor. ... More

We had communication issues as it pertained to the exterior color scheme and after proving what was promised by the Lennar Salesman they basically told us to take it or leave it.

The experience was not completely disappointing but it was not amazing either.

Issues with sod repond time was awful.

Overall all a good experience

Like the house also the attention the seller uses was very positive. Wishing there was a dining area. Not happy with the material that the builders used. Very low quality of paint and kitchen cabinets used. Would have been nice to have fence around each property for privacy.

Our Lennar home is very spacious and has a wonderful floor plan. That’s what sold us on the home. Our salesperson was very welcoming and seemed to really care and helped us in our search. She told us what our Lennar home came with and even wrote it down in an email. However when the home was being built things were different. We were told that sprinklers would be installed. She actually wrote it in an email along with our appliance package and garage door opener. We didn’t get the sprinklers and we’re finally told we should’ve looked at the option package that we signed. There were so many emails sent by Lennar about the home and the process with messages that it had to be sent back immediately. I didn’t really care for everything being done online. We didn’t really feel like things were personal and we had questions that didn’t get answers. The actual finish work was quite disappointing. Things were done haphazardly and we had to insist that many items be reinstalled and fixed. There were also some design elements that made no sense whatsoever. The utility room had a space for a fridge next to the dryer. However there was no plug and we were told that Lennar stopped putting them in for that several years ago. Lights were not centered and only the master and the family room were wired separately for ceiling fans. That seemed a bit cheap. We couldn’t even put a light over our dining room table because it had two can lights at either end. We were also told that plugs could not be installed on the island due to new building codes. However homes across the street and around the corner have them. It makes me wonder about the honesty of the builders and their representatives. There were several other designs that just didn’t make sense. Our Lennar loan officer on the other hand was absolutely terrific! She was so helpful and responded quickly to my questions and issues that came up. All in all we are glad we went with Lennar but would be much more content if there were some design changes and communication had been better. Right now we’re dealing with a roof leak and some AC issues. We’ll see how their service team responds. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing! ... More

My overall experience was good, the process was really fast, Lennar seller was very kind and supported us to make the purchase possible. Regarding the house, we have detected just small details that need to be fixed, the appliances and material used are good quality.
