Most materials and products are nice, not typical builder grade. Much of the craftsmanship is also well done. In our house the prep on the millwork was very poor, not the same as in the model homes. Many repair attempts were poorly executed. Unfortunately it is a poor representation of the rest of the house however it is highly visible and runs through the entire home. It’s a shame since our experience from start to finish was mostly very good. Rockstars were Katie in sales and James in lending. Beautiful home. A lot of issues more related to the contractors than the builder

The first wind storm the shingles are flying off the roof. The refrigerator that came with the house has a box cutter gash down the handle two big scratches on the left side on the right side. It doesn’t make ice and it sounds like it’s a car parked outside of my house all night. Lenar says they are not responsible and Frigidaire says they’re not responsible. The house came with ring security system. All of it installed upside down on every door. The window coverings put up very poorly. Someone can see in my bathroom window easily. The garage door has a dent and it does not lock.Sad

During our closing day we walked in on painters touching up spots. The new home experience was completely taken away from us and nothing was done to make it more memorable. Most recently, as we started planing our basement work to finish our basement we realized that the water heater was placed just in a random spot that takes away square footage from the future bedroom. The reps told me because the house came with an unfinished basement the water heater can get placed wherever . It would be nice to have the water heater moved or be compensated for losing square footage.

No quality finished house. Very expensive house for the quality

My husband and I just got into our lovely Lennar home and we are very happy with it and the experience of our purchase! I am a realtor myself and am always watching for issues, discrepancies and follow through....Lennars' home buying process was seamless! We were amazed when after using my favorite home inspection service right before we signed, they said they could find nothing wrong with the house! That was impressive as that rarely happens in my experience. We really enjoyed Jeff, our sales person, Ryan, Lennar's lender and talking with our HOA representee. All were very friendly and helpful! Lennar was very professional and helpful in the home buying process. They walk you through step by step with the process.

Really enjoy the Cypress model home that we purchased. Got a little crazy before closing. Just had to take a deep breath, get closed, and start working on punch list items. List has gotten pretty short after nearly 2 months with only some minor cosmetic items remaining. Construction manager has worked diligently to help us out.

Lots of problem with new builds

Lennar fixed whatever issues I had, but there was a LOT and much of the painting/drywall/finishing issues should have been properly completed in the first place!

Bought a brand new home. A/C already needed fixed. Took 2 weeks to get done and the temperature outside was in the 90s. Also, two months in, we STILL don’t have access to a mail box. Two outlets have stopped working in the kitchen. Solar panels have still not been activated when they said they should be. Overall, disappointed in my overall experience of buying a half a million dollar home.

Lennar needs to better responding to issues post move in. Person in charge of reviewing work completed by the trades need additional training. Many issues that were to be resolved after our move in are still not addressed. Have notified people in the front office, two guys that worked with the walk through and have submitted on line requests.

Of the 3 Builders I have purchased a home from in Florida, Lennar rates the best in all ways.

Two months after closing the punch list is still 20+ items long. Sometimes a tradie stops by to fix a single blue tape flag but at a rate of 2 "fixes" a week this is going to take a long time to get the home I paid for in February. Nobody feels responsible and the field rep didn't call in the first place.

When we have a problem, they call us back immediately my wife and I really enjoy the courtesy and respect with Lennar

From Billy the salesman up to the warranty workers that come out to service my home I have had a great experience.

I had a great experience working with the Lennar team from the sales person (Rosalie to the closing notary person (Taylor). Everyone was professional and very friendly. I was especially impressed with the loan processing team. They processed my loan in such a short period of time, and I was able to close escrow in 3 weeks. Thank you Rosalie, Jerry, Megan, Javi, and Taylor for all of your hard, dedicated work!!!!

Our overall experience was very disappointing. The contractors did very sloppy work. From the paint droppings all over the floor, to uneven handles on every kitchen cabinet, every outlet and switch cover crooked, broken pavers around pool. Uneven lawn with dead sod, irrigation system not approved by HOA. Uneven seam on granite counter top and the cheapest home appliances they could find. Lennar warranty service has only addressed 25% of our complaints and others work orders have been ignored.

Please know when you buy a smart home from them you will be setting up 95% of it without anyone's help from Lennar. They just want you to put down the deposit for your home and once that happens they completely stop trying or caring. I was told by an employee actually that Lennar is cheap. However, I love my house. They did a really good job with it overall, but please don't be fooled by the glamour of your house because nothing is what it seems with them with their rude employees.
