Lennar provided a large home for a reasonable price. build quality and materials were good. Repair and warranty process moving forward reasonably well. New home doesnt have much for storage, closets, or bathroom amenities like toilet paper holders and towel racks. Happy with the home for the most part.

Overall pleased with the experience and closing on time, actually a week early. Believe we have excellent value for our purchase price even though our buy was near peak of market. Lennar construction rep, Dalton, was great in showing us use of home and maintenance rewuirements at closing. Only down side has been A) a few quality/workmanship issues which they have begun fixing buy ideally should have been corrected before closing, and B) many of the amenities that were supposed to be open prior to Christmas are still a couple months away.

Overall I am very happy with my new home. I had a challenge up front. My septic tank was put in the middle of my back yard so no patio Room could be built. After much anguish and threatening to not buy my beautiful home, the 2nd level Manager Jeremy offered to have septic tank moved for addition desired. It WAS moved and he promised to pay for a re-inspection BUT as of today the $150.00 has not been reimbursed to me. I contacted Jeremy again yesterday to request the reimbursement. All flaws i have found have been submitted and are being handled as the warranty team can schedule. I LOVE ...

Get your own real estate agent, don’t just use the provided Lennar agent. Our agent was able to ask questions and provide information that we never would have thought of. Lennar is like any big business, they’re looking out for themselves. The Lennar agent didn’t even come to our closing. We l’ve had plumbing issues due to a pipe that was damaged prior to our purchase and 2 out of 3 of Lennar’s warranty people haven’t all been great to work with. It just depends on who you get. The houses are nice, as is our neighborhood, but you need to make sure your stay on top of things.

The response time for questions on the solar system was not responsive until 3 weeks after signing then they answered my phone call. Sunnova doesn't answer the question they give you an excuse and it isn't their fault. They point the finger at everyone else. It is going on 2 months since I signed and ownership was ours. We still don't know where in the process of getting our systems rook up and online line. There departments don't talk to each other. When you call you only talk to the new service department which isn't kept informed by the connections department as to what step in the ...

Size and spaciousness are unrivaled. Quality of everything in the home is the cheapest it can possibly be. Buyer beware, there is NO STORAGE built into the home beyond bedroom closets and an average size coat closet. There is not one linen closet anywhere in the home. So, there is nowhere to put extra towels, bedding, etc. Home is not data ready. Homes are not wired correctly for data and using substandard data cable, nor are the cables to a centralized location in the home.

We had a virtual closing which went fine and final walk through had to be done by a friend that lives in Florida as we closed between the two hurricanes and couldn’t get there. I was very disappointed with the amount of paint splattered on floors and caulking smeared on bathroom floors. It wasn’t as clean as the Lennar house I purchased in 2016. The garage floor should have been poured past the outside of garage door, instead the interlocking was brought into the garage where the ants are nesting in the sand and also left large gapping holes on either side of garage door. We have had ...

The townhome's structure is nice & the layout ok...but, the things you don't give enough thought to make this a regrettable purchase. Stingy on closet size & garage space; "tier 1" appliances included with no negotiation as well as "tier 1" finishes (carpeting, mirrors, bathroom accessories, no switch driven outlets, closet setups) - when you spend well in excess of $500K I would have expected better. A lot of poor workmanship throughout which I have paid to fix...not to mention replacing all of the lower tier items included which have been upgraded (at great expense).

Life circumstances required a home purchase in a short time frame. I did not see or experience the building phase, it was finished the first time I saw it. Final walk-through revealed multiple issues if varying severity, but none critical (mostly fit/finish, but not all). Walk-thru to close was 1 week, not all fixes made, was told to submit warranty requests for unaddressed items. Frustration: repairs that have been made were made to the lowest possible quality to still qualify as 'repaired' instead of genuinely done well. Bright side: warranty coordinator and individual staff ...

Generally good. There was a lot of attention leading up to the purchase but after that not so much. The workmanship and attention to detail is ok. The team could do better with quality control. Lots of little details missed. For instance there are pencil marks on nearly every corner and on the floor where trim work meets. A drawer front in the kitchen was damaged and JD said he would replace it- that has been nearly 2 months ago, shower glass has flaws that should have been pickup by the build team and replaced. Again I feel it has been all about getting the house closed.

It would be nice for the sells person to be in contact more during the transaction. It seemed like once the initial paperwork was signed we had to initiate any contact. Overall experience was good. Workmanship and quality is good. There's room for improvement in all areas but no major complaints yet.

I don't now recall the name of our builder rep because we never met him. Tim was there in his stead the whole time. Tim was great! The warranty rep was nice and responsive as well. The sale rep was also kind and helpful. I will say that the choice of using regrettably cheap paint, the state of the garage (inside) left by the builders, unfortunate choice and handling of the sod, and drops of paint left on my carpet was not cool. My ultimate negative issue is that of only having ONE external hose. It is inane that there is not one on the opposite corner or at least one in the back yard. What a ...

The overall design and architectures are perfect for most of the models. The home buying experience with Lennar team was good and smooth process. However there are some areas that really need improvement regarding the quality and finishing of products. 1) Lowest level paint (Flat provided). You have to do it all from scratch on a new home. 2) Stucco outside already has cracks on it on new home on many walls outside. They can’t do anything even with warranty. 3) Quality of fence outside is very bad. Already degrading on new home. Apart from the above things customer service is ...

Experience ok with builder-loan officer was horrendous

I have purchased about 15 homes in my adult life due to job moves. This by far was the worst loan experience I have ever had. Our loan officer, Amanda Claxton, gave incorrect information each time a question was asked. She has no eye for detail and is “ok with things not being exactly right”. I have never heard those words from someone working in finance. She told us things that simply were not true in multiple occasions and when we called her out she denied it even though I have it in email. When she doesn’t know the answer to a question she just makes one up. Simply the worst experience.

The purchasing experience with Lennar was decent. Everything is mobile and electronic. This posses a couple of issues from my POV. I never had just one point of contact to reassure me along the way, weekly follow ups did not exist and unless there was a person on the phone little was explained, ei… sing this, sign that ect…. The quality has a great feel to it, and up grading your flooring is a must. I did and it looks great. I knew that using the builders flooring I would get charged around 25% more than another flooring installation. Same with the window coverings, Lennar wanted something ...

Listen, Lennar gets a lot of crap, but honestly it just is what it is. They crank out homes and source the most affordable materials they can within code for your State, County, City and then they offer you a home at some of the best price per square foot you’re going to find. When you pay bottom dollar for your home, you can’t expect everything to be top dollar quality. You just have to accept what you’re buying when you buy it and do everything you can to make sure your home is inspected a couple of times within your 12 month warranty. I’ve bought two Lennar homes and haven’t ...

Have serious drainage issues both sides of home and backyard. Sod has been in for months and hasn’t grown like it should, have had reps come out and virtual calls twice and no results. Have reported this to construction managers on multiple occasions have been ignored. I am not happy with Lennar at this point. For the price we paid for these homes these issues should be resolved. We have only been here for 7 weeks.
