Sales and construction manager very helpful

sales person, loan officer and costmer care rep were outstanding; price and building material can be a little better.

Sales is great, houses nice , price is better. Only issue is responding to issues. They take their time and are VERY SLOW to respond .

Lennar will not make even tiny customizations. I have a huge bathtub and a small shower and I hit my head on the top door support getting in and out. I would rather have a big shower and small tub. We have to step into the deep tub to open the bathroom window or open the blinds therefore the window and blinds stay closed as not really there. Water lines are split to minimize the feet of tube used and that causes the showers and faucets furthest away from continuous hot water heater to take a long time for water to get hot. Separate lines to each faucet would solve this and a manifold on wall next to water heater would allow easy control of water. Be prepared to add your own accent walls because Lennar will paint the whole house one color. If financing, don't use Lennar financing. That said, I bought the Lennar home and love it. ... More

We LOVE our new house. Let me start with that. No regrets on buying it. There is a glaring downside though. Every week something else is wrong with the electrical mostly, or occasionally something else. Still would buy again, but they really need to get better at pre move in inspections, and hire competent electricians.

Be careful what is offered and what price is being charged Carefully.

Sprinkler guys did a lousy job. Sprinklers are too deep they didn’t plan for the sod height or level the yard well. Already have had to re-caulk master shower and kids bathroom. Overall we are happy with our home.

Feel more care could have gone into details as well as the deep cleaning before move-in.

The layout of Lennar homes are beautiful. But after owning one, I’d say the quality is lacking. But we love our home and are working through various workmanship issues.

The builder had a very average finish. We had to rework it several times before the final walk-through. Since our support person (Mr.Mark) was very kind we were able to get a lot of stuff done after the closing by raising tickets. We are still not done with our home, the tub, there is a crack in it, something we were not able to see clearly during the final walk-through. Also Lennar a billion-dollar company should reiterate through their sales team several times about what is NOT included in the "All inclusive" home. For example we were hastily shown some things like the back blinds ,were not included, or even the lights for the home were not included, I think these things should be highlighted and an option provided for the customer to purchase such options. I do understand and respect that Lennar might have its own reasons, but the option to exercise should exist for the customer. I will happily confess that we were indeed provided everything except for the back blinds, and I am very grateful to Mr.Mark for his persuasion with his organization to satisfy all our needs especially in sight of the fact that we were almost out of funds after the closing. Overall we are very happy, but the paint job, the finishing near the edges of the walls and such other, have been slightly below satisfactory. It’s a good house. But when we entered we had few maintenance issues but they resolved.

The quality of materials is average. Lennar builds new homes so the push is for quantity not necessarily quality, however, they have put a significant amount of energy into the after care of the house. I appreciate that though it started choppy, they are aggressive about making it right.

If you try to clean a spot on the wall, the paper thin paint comes right off. Base board in M-BR has cracked.

Other builders offer 5 gallon of paint. Also others builders paint the garage for same price or for less price on the house. Whoever paint the inside of my house paint the floor in a few areas of the house. Non response I get after the closing day. Also the proses on the financial is very stressful and inconvenience. They need to be more proactive and ask for all documentation at front and not the las day of the closing day.

On the whole we love the house. Bedroom walls do not stop sound as much as they should between rooms and the bathroom.

Overall have been very pleased with Lennar. I’ve had homes built in the past and this is the best experience I’ve had. Response to issues has been excellent. I’m especially pleased with the LENNAR team I’ve worked with. I do have a complaint. I have some dead bushes and trees and my sprinkling system is not functioning but LENNAR says it’s not their issue and the landscape people say it’s a LENNAR issue. Nothing is getting done and more bushes are dying. Plus I’m trying to water with a hose which is costing me extra money and time. Can someone work with the landscaper and get my irrigation system fixed and dead trees and shrubs replaced? ... More

The taping job on my ceilings shows all the joints , especially in the bedrooms. I believe they skipped a coat of mud. They were behind at the time doing my Sheetrock , tape and skim. They had one more coat to put , I went to look the next day and it was textured. I’d rather leave it now the way it is than have them come mess my house up to fix it. Painting was horrible on the exterior. Shadows everywhere through the paint where the paint is not solid and you can see the grey stucco. I’ll be repairing this year because mostly we don’t like the color but also because the quality. Everything else we loved. All the Lennar people are great. ... More

We love our new Lennar home especially the location and the layout of the house. Our construction manager was fantastic - honest, dependable, and hard-working. I will note a very interesting part of this entire process was the fact that Lennar corporate only communicated with my husband. We purchased the home together as a married couple, yet all communication only was sent to my husband's email. Not a huge issue except when your husband is not the type that checks his personal email frequently and it just seemed like a step back in time to the 1950s because everything was addressed to "Mr. XX". My name completely left off all communication. Just seems odd for such a "modern" company. ... More

Pros: Nice layouts, good standard package inclusions, nice color palette Cons: Interior door quality. Minor detail finishes. Overall: good value for the price point. Extra kudos for Matt the construction manager. Top Notch professional.

Great customer service. Very responsive. Good price and quality of materials. However, workmanship and attention to detail could be better.

We love our home but there have been lots of problems. Lots of electrical issues, things wired wrong and loosing power because of rusted equipment. The dry wall is uneven and bumpy, paint is on our floors and rails and light fixtures, the baseboards are messy in places especially corners. And the entire upper floor creaks. The warrenty department is very responsive and has been able to fix many of our problems for us. But it is a huge hassle to make time to have all this fixed. It would have been much nicer if this had al been caught prior to purchasing.
