Not happy with things done inside house too much mistake in finish.2month here and need thi gs to be fixed. Still waiting . I love Lenard homes always did.but little thi gs can make things big.thk u.

While the home is great and really happy with it. Many things were not considered. The quality of materials used is pretty low for the $$ of the home. Also when the shower was extended, there clearly wasn’t much though put into how people use it. There should of been an extended master double vanity of there and a slightly smaller walk in shower. Also tile looks unfinished without it going to top of half wall and to the shower head. Also there is no closet space for linens and towels which is odd in this size home to not have a single closet for linens.

Painless/hassle free buying experience. However the quality of the house is not as good as the old days. Maybe because all of the housing boom is making the builder sloppy since they're building too fast (lack of quality control)?

They promised that we can get a straight driveway when they pour the concrete. Tom the builder manager said that they will let us know so we can be there to let them know. We had to pay extra to get the extended drive cause they did not let us know when they were pouring the concrete. On top of paying extra for the concrete drive way when we where building the house. The only person that was very efficient was Sawyer. He answered text right away and solved are problems.

The sales team in Lakewood Ranch, FL. was first rate. They provided consistent and timely updates on the build process and were available for those spur of the moment questions that always seem to come up. Dealing with Lennar's mortgage company was not as smooth. Things went well overall, but there was a lack of communication between the sales and mortgage side on when the closing date was going to be. This caused multiple "hard" credit pulls that adversely affected my credit score. I was lucky to have a pretty good credit score so it did not effect my rate. But, it could have. Dealing with Lennar Customer Support for post-purchase issues has been hit-or-miss. The support team is good to deal with but can be a bit busy at times so their communication and response to claims or questions can be spotty at times. When getting things fixed I needed to keep in mind that the same people that installed it in the first place would also be the same ones that fixed it. Their focus generally was the new units that were being built and not fixing their mistakes. So, patience is needed and understanding that they were the lowest bidder for the job. This came in handy when I understood that paint was "acceptable" to fill in gaps in moldings instead of caulking. In my case, I was still working through a pre-closing punch list of issues that needed to be addressed 2-3 months after closing. These were things that were caught by Lennar prior to me having my pre-closing walk through that were still not addressed and were not addressed by closing. Overall, Lennar is a good home builder with some really good floor plans to choose from. But, there are going to be more than a few issues that you will need to work through and that makes the one year warrantee that they offer worth quite a bit to the bottom line. ... More

We love our home, but Lennar could improve on resolving issues in a timely manner.

My overall experience was good but I found issues after I moved in and when I reported the issues within the first 30 days it took a month or so before someone contacted me. I then was told that some items was not covered. So make sure you try to check everything if you decide on this builder.

The home buying and building process was easy and pretty smooth overall. Lennar was pretty good about keeping me updated, addressing any questions I had, and addressing any issues that came up during the process. Have minor issues with dings and imperfections with paint/trim/molding finishes. A few minor issues popped up after closing and they were pretty responsive and quick to fixing those issues. One major pain point I am having issues with is in regards to landscaping, I have several dead patches throughout my lawn. Whoever Lennar used for landscaping laid down sod directly top of construction debris which prevents grass from properly rooting, I don't have to dig more than an inch on several dead spots to find fist-sized rocks or large chunks of cement directly underneath the sod. I wish they would've done their due diligence in properly laying down sod or at least rectify the issues after the fact. The buying process was very smooth. The fixes that are always required with a new build has been very poorly managed.

Really overall good experience. Depends on who you deal with as to response time or update on repair time table. Wish more durable finishes were used

There are all the work which we were promised on our closing has never been fulfilled.

The sales staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The sales representative was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and still remembers our names months after we purchased the home. The house does have some design flaws. The tankless hot water heater is not able to quickly provide hot water to the kitchen although it functions well in the bathrooms and laundry area. The garage and driveway are narrow; most of our neighbors park at least one car in the driveway as they are unable to get two cars into the garage along with the usual homeowners items (lawn care equipment, bicycles, tools, etc.). Otherwise the house is well designed. We especially enjoy the screened in porch, but are adding a patio as are many of our neighbors. The interior rooms are of ample size and have a decent amount of closet space. The ceilings are 9 feet tall giving the rooms a more spacious appearance. The bathrooms, especially the master bath, are well done. The master bath and closet are very large and flow together nicely. Most of the finish work is of average quality but the quarter round is poorly implemented and appears as if the wood was chewed off rather than cut with a sharp saw. The interior paint job was substandard, especially the trim and railings. The flooring, although builder's grade, is reasonably nice and has held up well thus far. Lennar paid attention to amenities and equipped the home with a Ring doorbell, garage door opener, a Schlage numerical code front door lock, and nice landscaping. We wish that they had included a lawn irrigation system and a keypad outside of the garage door. The exterior of the home is cement fiberboard and is nicely painted. The guttering is adequate. Things to look at if considering a purchase: painting, trim work, hot water delivery, caulking along baseboards, the width of the driveway and the size of the garage, and, importantly, the terms imposed on homeowners by the HOA. Also, the neighborhood includes two pools, a clubhouse, playground, and open areas. Lennar is a reputable company but because they are building houses quickly, you need to pay attention to the details. ... More

We're very happy with the house - our realtor thought they did a pretty good job cleaning it up before we moved in. The concern is more with the outside. The grass is a problem. The builder never picked up their workers cigarettes, and garbage, our entire yard is filled with rocks that were never removed, and the front is filled with rocks that Lennar's snow removal service piled into my front yard. It seems like the sales people said things just to sell the house such as the property behind the house would be landscaped, the plants that they planted would be maintained by their landscape service, drainage for the standing water issues in the street and yards, etc. I'm not sure how much of it was fabricated vs. Lennar changing what they wanted to do after all the houses were sold. It has now been left up to the homeowners to fight for these things to be completed. No one wants to be calling the township, soil commision, etc. constantly for intervention, but it's clear Lennar is not going to finish the job of their own accord. ... More

I am VERY disappointed in the time it takes to get warranty claims taken care of, some we have been waiting weeks for. That is not much of customer service!

We had a great experience with the staff working in our community. Unforgivably those in management including Dustin (VP of Reno) and Dave (construction manager) only care about the bottom line and not people.

The Motgage process was easy and mostly stress free. Having standard options and knowing the price upfront with no add one is great.

Overall a good experience. Some details left behind, we are fixing it since are not major. The grass in the back isdamaged and still no replacement after two months. The value is in line with the product received. I'll buy again from Lennar, but will avoid these mid range properties.

We love our new home. Have had a few issues, but hopefully they will be resolved soon. Quick to respond, still waiting for them to be resolved.

I think the process was great despite the delays, but that was to be expected mid pandemic. The quality of workmanship is very poor though. As we live here longer we see clear errors of workmanship whether it be low quality materials, lack of care, or inexperience by the workers. There are scuffs on trim painted over, bulges in Sheetrock, we have tons of nail pops (that we were told are not covered under warranty), caulking is splitting in multiple places (again, not covered under warranty). Other than these noticeable cosmetic mistakes and issues (that won’t be fixed because it’s not “covered”) the process was nice, the managers have been very nice as well. ... More

From the naked eye the home is gorgeous, once living here for almost a month I see tons of missed details that I can tell they sped up through in the finishing process. Holes in the closest walls where they were supposed to go over and paint, paint on the rear door because they were not being considerate with covering the doors, paint on the hardwood due to not being considerate of covering the floors.

The buying process was very easy. Everyone very friendly. The seller was awesome! The only down fall is make sure you get everything in writing. When i say that i mean any extra things they say they will do, such as, cutting existing trees, cleaning the sidewalk or driveway of paint splatter or pieces of cement left. When my grass was laid my fence was damaged and never replaced.

As of right now the only thing I’m not happy with is the matting under the carpet it doesn’t feel even under your feet. And when I’m there full time in July I’m going to issue a repair or replace ticket. But other than that I love the home.
