Overall good but with some final finishing were hurried

Lennar is a great option for anybody looking for a starter home with good amenities. However, the quality of work is pretty mediocre and requires frequent fixes and patch work.

The warranty service is poor and so much of process even for the small fix.

Have issues that they haven’t solved

The home buying process was great! Ashely was AMAZING!!! She was there for us throughout the entire process. As for the builder Lennar, they make BEAUTIFUL homes/layouts. However, because they're rushing to complete everything, they're half-assing important details. We've had MULTIPLE issues since before closing and well after closing. Issues from electrical to appliances to sod to plumbing, to name a few. I don't think it's Lennar's fault, however, they're not overseeing that these things are in proper working condition prior to closing. No one should have to close and then have to deal with these issues weeks or months after moving in. We literally have spent the first 4 weeks after closing trying to get things fixed. It's frustrating. And when an order is placed on their site, it either takes time for them to get back to you or you as the homeowner need to contact either the plumbing, electrical. appliancce companies. Not fair at all! And I'm STILL dealing with issues 8 weeks later! ... More

We are very happy with our place, however I am going to leave very honest feedback with the hopes that things are improved for our future neighbors! The appliances, materials, and equipment are all high end and good build quality, but the finish appeared sloppy and in our opinion did not meet the standard. Paint was slopped on doors, tiles, windows, light fixtures, light switches, appliances (Fridge, oven, microwave, etc.). The door jambs had plaster/paint all over them. It appeared very rushed. Our cabinets had a lot of nicks and scratches. The railings, baseboard/trim, and crown molding have paint imperfections (mostly dripping paint that dried in place, but very obvious) but also the corners don't fully connect and have gaps as if they weren't cut to proper length. We did 3 Re-Walk's to blue tape everything we could find and we still have stuff like hardened glue substance on our shower tile that I cannot scrape off (The builder tried). It needs some sort of chemical remover or something. The builder was responsive and tried to address everything. Construction: We totally understand that we bought a pre-construction home and the surrounding construction and street conditions don't bother us because we expected it. Its part of the process. However we were told we would never be blocked in and that the construction teams were notified not to block the entire street so we could still get in and out as needed. However, at times we were blocked in on almost a daily basis between 8:30-5:00. We typically have to go flag someone down, who often doesn't know who drives which vehicle so it takes upwards of 10 minutes to get multiple people to move vehicles around. And that's just to come back 30-45 minutes later to do the same exact thing because they blocked our garage again or the whole entrance to the street. In one instance we had a real medical emergency and we were EXTERMELY thankful and fortunate that my wife was not blocked in, but an example of why this is a little more than just an inconvenience. Trash: Its also been more than a month and we still have not had our trash picked up. I'm not sure how many times my wife has called, but enough that she feels uncomfortable calling again. We've been told multiple times that the team has been updated or notified that this street needs trash picked up, but it has yet to happen as of today. I hope this feedback is helpful for someone. I really do love this place but these are major concerns we have been dealing with since early July. Don't get me wrong. We are enjoying our new home; however, we are finding things that we missed. I've notified those who asked to be notified, and I've been acknowledged, but nobody's come to look at the issues. We measured the room sizes for furniture placement and found the 4th bedroom is smaller than the house plan drawing. It's 15 sq. ft. less than what's shown on that house drawing.

Great floorplan and upgrades. Drywall, paint, and details around the house have been quite shoddy. The electrical breaker for the dryer outlet was never installed! How did that even pass inspection??

Overall experience was good. Frustrating that outdated technology like landline telephone jacks could not be switched to Ethernet ports and insisted on installing Ring doorbell and sensors. Only dryer connection is gas - electric not an option and considered a customization. Overall quality is good- delivery date 90 days later than originally scheduled due to supply chain and labor issues

We have lived in this since 1 June. The craftsmanship is average at best. Very cheap paint on walls. You can’t even brush up against them because you will leave a mark. Caulking is chipping a long with the cheap paint. Driveway is already chipping concrete and upstairs has spots where creaking sounds are heard while walking. Lastly if you want to have a nail poke your foot, just come walk on our carpet, especially when entering or exiting a doorway. You’ll put shoes on! It’s unfortunate that it would seem profit is priority over quality because people just want to chalk it up as being “ a home owner” expense. If it’s done right the first time with the proper materials, I believe in the long run they make more money, but there inline is the problem, people want there money now and have no loyalty. People at a company for an extended amount of time is just not the case anymore. . I gave the overall buying process 4 stars, because it was very good. They people of this organization are respectful and talented professionals. Lennar has that process down for any one to understand and feel comfortable buying a house. ... More

Nice Home for the Price, Quality and Workmanship could be better

Overall the experience was good and I’m enjoying my home. However, there are some things that could have been done better for the price.

I would wait until the landscaping is completed before letting the buyers move in. There are cracks in the ceilings, and other small issues. The biggest problem for my wife is the noise in the early morning from truck traffic. We have purchased a newly constructed home before. My wife is disappointed with the craftsmanship of this townhome. We thought we paid top dollar, but it doesn’t feel like it.

Took so long to get issues solved

Everything started off great then as it got closer to our home being finish built. No one communicated issues to us and little things that needed to be done were never finished. Got a lot of fast talk but no completion.

It will be better if we get weekly updates on the process. Construction manager never send any updates and not friendly.

There are no Bathroom Accessories so I had to buy all of the items in the two Bathrooms after the sale. Also, the Warranty people have been slow to repair a water leak. It was reported 6 weeks ago and still has not been resolved.

At our pre closing walk thru, we met with the construction manager and listed a number of things that needed attention. On the day of closing, we were told our construction manger had quit and a new man was on the job. There was a pile of debris still in the driveway and the yard was full of trash. The punch list hadn't been completed or addressed properly. By the time we arrived with the movers, the debris in the driveway was gone but the yard was still a mess. Numerous things in the house have yet to be completed. Based on this experience with Lennar, I wouldn't recommend this builder to anyone looking for a house to buy. ... More

Overall Lennar does a good job. This is my 2nd Lennar home. The process of buying this time is very different. Now there are many people involved which I think it isn't necessary. Personally, we are not so satisfied with the appliances (there were no upgrade so there were basic/standard). Wall paint is white, no other color choice. Cleaning before move-in was not great. Cabinets and corners were not clean of debris. The doors were scratched and poorly painted. Lennar tried to fix the imperfections on a timely manner. The design and sizes of bedrooms are very spacious compared to some builders. Overall, we like our new home. We will buy again a Lennar home, if time allows. ... More

A lot of things could have been done with more care.

Communication from Lennar was excellent all the time. Sales contact Jeff was excellent. Very poor quality on house finishes compare to previous new homes I bought.

Overall experience is good; sells person and team are very responsive; some final assembling jobs could be improved. Most of designs are nice; inside of kitchen cabinets should have all pulled out drawers. Aldo wish have more spaces/storage in laundry room.

Quality of materials used for the houses vary too much from one unit to the other and unfortunately your unit might be the one always getting the lowest quality of all.

Overall wasn’t a bad experience buying the house 3 months of delays which is the times right now with all of the delays with materials. The fit and finish (the minor details) in my house were not the greatest I had to fix some things myself and few other things still not done. With how much I paid for this house I expect better.
