While the sales contact I worked with did seem like a used car dealer, he did stay late to get the sale. Lennar hasbeen caught with their hands in the cookie jar a few times. Lennar owns Eagle Mortgage and Eagle Mortgage owns the appraisal company. This allows them to get to closing quickly, which is very nice for the buyer. It also makes it very easy for lennar to put loan packages together that it shouldn't. I am lucky, most of the process was easy and efficient. It's not the best build quality in the final touches, but it is a solid house.

Lennar responds quickly to any issues, however their resolution process is poor. These are not high quality homes, however they are priced appropriately for the product quality.

The home is above average in construction but there are a number of things that need to be fixed. The construction appears to have been rushed and a number of items still need to be done even though it has been a few months since closing. Trees that were promised to be replaced by the agent haven't been replaced. We were told it was too hot to replace them this past summer, but no effort has been made to replace them since summer. Always get things in writing, even though I didn't do thst.

The sales process was painful. I lived out of town and responses were poor. There was no flexibility during purchasing phase. The construction manager “Henry” was phenomenal and provided answers where he could. He insured all of my concerns were addressed and directed me to the appropriate person if it was out of his jurisdiction.

They did make the home buying process very easy. It seems as if they push and push to get you approved, then drag their feet. Other than that, overall experience was not bad.

Good people with Lennar, but not the best quality of work done by outside contractors.

When a person purchases a new house, you would expect the work to be of better quality. These contractors are supposed to be professionals and do better jobs than myself. We shouldn't have to have painters come back, sidewalks fixed, plumbing fixed, fixtures replaced, garage siding repaired all within the first 2 months. The CM was awesome! He was very willing to get people back in and make the repairs. We passed our 60 day mark, so no more CM helping us. The current customer care rep has been good so far and brought contractors back to make repairs. With the price one pays, I would expect ...

Over all I’m satisfied with my new home. I knew going in what to expect. Lower end fixtures and appliances, drywall work definitely not the best but about what I expected from a track home. People at lennar very helpful but slow to respond to minor issues. Never did get my garage keys and bathroom exhaust fan never has worked.

This was my second Lennar home in five years. However, the quality of materials and workmanship has significantly declined compared to my previous Lennar home. Lennar homes are beautiful and space is planned out well. Buying process was easy and not complicated.

Lennar - Pluses and Minuses

Make sure as a new buyer you are present for the final walkthrough and customer orientation. Purchasing our home from out of town meant we missed both and were behind the eight ball from the start. Quality seems pretty good, workmanship and cleanup left something to be desired. Follow-up for warranty issues needs to be improved.

Great design, great location, very good finishing material, but poor workmanship and responsiveness

I really like the house I bought from Lennar. Location is top notch. Finishing material is also very good. My experience with the sales team was also very good. Some finishing work is poor. Responsiveness is also poor. I have place a complain on a couple of electrical issues and never got anyone coming to fix them (or even to see what were my issues). Also my driveway, that was just done, is already showing holes on the concrete. Painting is bad.

Disappointed in a few areas that you shouldn’t have to deal with in a new home. Still working to get many things fixed. Overall we love the home just not to thrilled about some of the issues we still have to fix on a brand new home.

Great Home... minor flaws... poor property grading/

I absolutely love my home and have enjoyed working with Chad Aycock and John Faircloth. Matt from customer care has been helpful too. My main issue has been with my property. The yard was poorly graded and the yards are not 100% sodded. This is causing erosion on the back part of my property. The poor drainage was causing a lot of standing water on my property and it took a few months for it to be fixed. The issue has been addressed and a French drain was put in. It looked great at first but the dirt is starting to settle and you sink down into the ground where they dug the trench... the ...

They will build you a nice house, just make sure you get everything in writing and even then be prepared to either wait or have to go back and forth about it. They don't always do what they say they will do. I would avoid closing on a house in the winter as all the spring things they say they will comeback and do have not happened. And finally, I would suggest you just get the full sod package because if you don't you will regret what they do instead.

My overall experience was great! I had some really great people helping me through the process. I did have a few issues with the house once I moved in. Dishwasher not working and roof leaking in light fixture in the bathroom. Roof was taken care of quickly. Going on 2 months and dishwasher is still not working.

The buying experience was easy enough but not very personable I was handed a folder with the Deed and keys and that was it. Gavin has been very helpful in getting the minor problems fixed. The only problem that has not been fixed is the address problem which I hope will be fixed soon.

Lauren & Gina were the best people throughout the purchase. Still waiting on things they were going to complete that were pending from the second walkthrough tape was never removed. Waited 4 days for the money back after I was told that in 24 hours I was going to receive it. I purchased 2 houses in less than 2 years . Any way after all that…I love my house.

The location is good and builder delivered the unit as promised date. I also mortgage through Lennar and that process went smooth Didn't notice any changes in structure or design than advertised while taking possession. However my unit price was advertised higher than other unit near by or in the community. I wanted to go for a end unit and I was told that that unit is 16K higher price. Hence we decided to go for a middle unit. The day I booked my unit, very next day that end unit price was reduced by another 25K which is much less than the middle unit. I even raised this during closing and ...

1) We don't like kitchen cabinets without handles; 2) There is no gutter to receive rainwater from the roof, causing erosion in the garden of the house; 3) Some of the drawers in the kitchen cabinets are stucks. WE HOPE YOU SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS SOON!

We closed on our Lennar house on July 10, 2025. Our Lennar sales guy was great! We feel like we got a good house with a great view for a great price!…..however, after closing, we noticed many shortcomings in the quality of our home. All the walls were painted with a cheap commercial grade paint, so plan on painting ALL your walls. Lennar doesn’t furnish toilet paper holders, towel bars etc! They also don’t install gutters along the back or sides of your house, only the front! Within 6 weeks of closing, we’ve already have a roof leak. At least Lennar is sending a roofer right away, but ...

The sales process was friendly and smooth, but the closer I got to closing I ran into issues with the dishonesty and unreliability of the quality assurance manager. Thus, issues with the workmanship of the house that needed to be completed prior to closing, didn't occur until afterwards and I then had to take extra measures and time to get them addressed. Now that I've officially moved in, I've run into a few quality of workmanship issues (HVAC, cheap paint, faulty electrical installation), but they've been pretty quick to address the issues through the warranty portal. Overall, I'm happy ...

I did a remote closing and it went smoothly. However, some of the items that were supposed to be taken care of before the closing: General cleaning, Fire alarm chirping, cabinet hardware falling off, Tile floor stains and missing garage door openers were not addressed. I closed on 5/228 and started moving in a month later. As of this writing the fire alarm is the only item addresed

The overall experience with Lennar was good, especially from the beginning with sales. The sales team was great, straightforward and professional. The Lennar mortgage team was also great to work with but I will say they treated someone else I know who purchased a first home in the beginner series with less concern and value thank they did us with a higher priced home. They should be no less important. As far as the home itself goes, I believe it might be lacking in quality materials and workmanship. Corners seem to have been cut to save money. We have only been in our house a month and a ...
