Overall good as of now but I think quality wise we have to compromise

Salesperson said maybe on incentives,sales manager no communication wouldn't return calls.Fencing in yard 6 inches above ground-they answer was they don't fix that. LOVE the home! But room for improvement on builderrs side

Overall the experience was quick and relatively simple . Some quality issue drywall spots need to be touched up. Moved into the home 8 weeks ago and I am still waiting on my driveway to be poured.

Quality of the workmanship for the sheet rock was horrible, we had to pay out of pocket to correct some of the walls and even after that the ceiling has very bad crease's where they should have floated the sheet rock. Final walk through was somewhat helpless and those issues weren’t fix as well.

I disliked that the side of the house the ground is not flat, even the backyard and front yard. There is no waterholes in the backyard only on the side of the house. Disliked that they didn’t cover the entire backyard with grass. Disliked that the house didn’t come with a microwave only a stove. They used cheaper lights.

We had limited involvement with the sales team, as visited once and made an offer the next day. Cons Mgr promised to address several items pre-close, about 1/2 were taken care of

The overall experience went well but BEWARE when doing your pre close walk through. You will be promised that your list of things will all be taken care of. Well, eight weeks AFTER our walk through we still have numerous issues that have not been addressed (a few that are pretty major). You must stay on top of the complaint department but they are terrible at following up with you and keeping you updated. Very frustrating.

They have a great team work authority and lots of people to help with questions along the way.

Over all my experience was great for a first time buyer

Foreman and crews changed constantly can be an issue for lack of communication and mistakes. This is still a work in progress so we will leave it at that for now. Every person I worked with in the process from sales to construction to closing was a professional doing the best they could in this environment.

I was disappointed with the quality the paint job was horrible no insulation above the garage Don't expect the best quality just being honest

Quality issues with final product are my primary concern!

Overall Lennar is a decent home builder, but there is room for improvements. Especially in quality of workmanship where it’s lacking attention to details.

Have not gotten a respose from John the "customer care" rep after 3 business days. We own a concrete company and know how far communication can go.

Much of the exterior paint "touch up" is the wrong color. Looks bad.

My initial contact was an older lady at the model for Arcadia. She was horrible and would have turned me against Lennar for all time because of her terrible attitude even though I found what I thought was my perfect house. I fell across another model of that house in a new development called hidden lines and that’s when Lennar redeemed themselves. Laura is amazing and the only reason I bought my present house from him his builder. There isn’t enough bytes on the internet to describe how amazing she is. My builder Jason was also very good but his hands were tied because of his boss with a couple issues I wanted adjusted or done. Then with a rush to close, I noticed many discrepancies in the quality of the build. One of which is more annoying that my windows (some of them) aren’t square. They taper making it impossible to fit blinds consistently. We’ll see if anyone will make it right under the warranty. ... More

This is the first home that I bought that was built from the ground up and it’s hard on the review because Lennar’s People were magnificent. I couldn’t ask for better people to deal with, but I wasn’t too happy with the workmanship of the home and even when I did the walk-through, it’s Obvious that they could’ve took a little longer to do some of the projects. I didn’t complain too much about issues that I had moving into the home I had to get into the home as soon as possible, but if I was to buy another home I would make sure that I don’t give my notice Until I am in that home and everything was to perfection because I think that had a lot to do with it I’m really not a complainer so it’s hard every time I have to call about problems with the home. I was suggested not to get an inspector because the house was inspected thousands of times before I moved in. I wish I would have. Some of the biggest things that I have a problem with which I think they should have done way better job of is when they finish the construction they should hire somebody to come scrub the driveway because it was filthy and a lot of the dirtt is caked on and I’m gonna have to hire someone to fix it. The landscaping was great when I came to do the final walk-through but then I had water issues the ground was dug up. When they came over to fix it, they could have did a way better job. They didn’t put any work into it whatsoever. It’s just things like that that I’m had a little problem with. I know people just do what you’re allowing to get away with and I was so grateful for having the house and the financing that I received in the love I received from the company that a lot of the issues that I should’ve complained about I didn’t. ... They oversell expectations and under perform the exection in my opinion. Based on the feild team they need a better process for quility control. They don't like to give you plans based on architectural or structurals, but know this its public record and you can get them from the city or county free of charge.

The home buying process with Lennar has been an overall success. My family and would say there were som ups and down from inception. We do understand nothing is perfect. Communication during underwriting could have been somewhat better but once again we do know that this is a process that includes many persons and parts to complete. I do believe the finished product could have been of better quality. From a cost perspective, the sub contractors should pay more attention to quality control verses quantity production. This will benefit Lennar through the warrantee and punch out time period as well as the customers having to potentially complete repairs or changes on their own. Overall, it was a positive experience leading up to closing; however, closing day was a mess. My loan officer (Dawn) was incredibly communicative and helpful, but I cannot say the same for my loan processor. My loan processor did not communicate clearly with me or the rest of the team, leading us to believe that I would not be closing as scheduled. I was scheduled to close in the afternoon, but I did not close until around 5 PM, disrupting my entire workday. When I reached out the night before closing to ensure that everything was in order, I was told that there were no issues. The builder tried to be as helpful as possible, but he wasn't incredibly familiar with my property during the final walk through. He had also not been sent the full inspection report from the Lennar real estate agent, which led to some confusion. My largest challenge has been post-closing. The Lennar representative assisting with my 30-day check-in has been hard to reach. She missed our first meeting (that she had scheduled) without a call or notice. I had to call 3-4 times to get an answer 40 minute after our scheduled meeting. She had forgotten and was not apologetic. We rescheduled, and when I reached out to confirm the night before this meeting, she said she'd try to be on time but had another meeting right before mine and would try to be only 10-15 minutes late to mine. It really should have been a phone call. I am planning to reach out because I have still not heard anything about my repairs over a week later. ... More

Overall the process was pretty good, and we were given detailed walk-throughs to identify any issues, which they took care of. We were disappointed that the closing took two weeks longer than expected, but that seems to have been due to city issues not in Lennar's control. Overall we are happy with the final product.

Love the area and the representatives were friendly. Biggest issue we had was that even though we were purchasing at the frame stage NOTHING could be changed. Cabinet colors, electrical outlets and structured internet cabling could not be changed or added... even when we agreed to pay additional fees. A little flexibility would have gone a long way to getting this closer to a five star review.

We love our new home, but there are some issues. The most annoying is the lack of gutters on the home. I’m from an era where homes came with rain gutters, so when inspecting the home during the walkthroughs we asked about their lack and were given an explanation of how the new home roofs were built to divert rain water and told we could have gutters installed if we wished. Didn’t think it would be a problem due to the explanation. Of course neither of the walkthroughs was performed in the rain so we excepted what we were told. After the first rain we discovered the roof’s design diverted the rain alright, right in front of the front door. So, now whenever it rains we have a mini waterfall cascading directly onto the main walkway leading to our front door that has to be dodged when entering from the front of the house. When informed about it, and questioned about the ‘roof design’ we were told there was nothing that could be done and our only option was to have gutters installed. Thanks for nothing. What’s going on? Do they have a kickback agreement with the gutter installers? And when did homes start being built without rain gutters? Do better Lennar. ... More

Overall a good experience just really slow to respond to questions about the house and I’m still waiting to hear back from emails a month later especially after we moved in it’s been impossible to get a hold of anyone for issues it’s very frustrating
