Gate FOBS

I was given two gate fobs about a week after I closed on my property and they do not work. Three different requests have been made to rectify this problem and I still haven’t heard back from the current HOA manager. The far gate remains open 24//7 but I would like to have this problem rectified as soon as possible. Also my name is not on the gate directory! Why is this when I closed on 12/20? Please follow up with these issues.

We love our new home. The homes that Lennar build are beautiful. The sales agent Iolando was above and beyond great! She was so informative and so helpful. We would have passed on our purchase if it was not for her. The only negative experience thus far is that the building manager will not respond to communication about concerns dealing with minor fixes. Hopefully, he will soon.

The list is so extensive of what was done wrong including burying ATT fiber box so lawn is dug up. Flooding my backyard sp can't put up fence. Andis unusable. I could go on.

My overall experience was not bad. I adore Michael C that did my walk throughs. I did not have the same experience with the sales rep on site. She was on the verge of rude more often than not. I also have not enjoyed the fact that there seems to have been miscommunication on what my town I actually live, I am a month in and still don't know what my address is : Fountain Inn or Simpsonville : even the utility companies have the address listed differently.....but I love my home,

Lennar has a good reputation so we trusted them. The overall experience for us is alright. Agent was good but as soon as we signed the contract, her responses become less and less and far in between. We noticed as we moved in how Lennar has cut on a lot of things that we expect from a new home built. On the second bathroom upstairs, it is missing a towel rod by the sink, the windows are all fake window in the bathrooms. You cannot open any of them, so you cannot even air your bathrooms. Attention to details as discussed in person. Several items we discussed were left incomplete from the original report. I did advise that my home back in GA was closing and I needed things listed completed. Less than month into my new home and we have a leak in the guest bathroom that I found while storing some things away. When I walked through final inspection, home was still being worked on. Tom the salesman is a 5 star! He was responsive and very informative Easy to work with and followed up. David in the mortgage process is also a 5 star. Great to work with and made the process smooth and easy. Eric in Warranty is a 5 star plus. Did excellent follow through and kept us informed. Was very responsive. Still new at the property. Discovered some minor issues. Tried to use the online portal to report them but, it doesn’t really work. The electrical issues reported to the contractor but still not fixed. It took them about 3 weeks to fix the broken fence.

This was the worst mortgage transaction I have ever experienced. Communication was minimal, our concerns were not addressed in a timely manner, and our loan was not cleared to close until the last minute. Thankfully, we had the best realtors guiding us throughout the process. The final walkthrough process was a joke. Third time was a charm for us. After moving in we found so many issues, mostly minor, that should have been addressed prior to moving in, but customer service had been great. Josh has been very responsive and has made sure everything is taken care of.

Construction - no personalized service

We never once met the construction:site manager and was never once asked if I’d like to visit the property during construction, so I just went myself many times on my own. Past homes we have always met and got to know the person responsible for our new home. Lennar- never. The sales associate was great but we had to ask her things that really were not her job because there was no other contact. There are many mistakes on the finished floor, there are spaces between the boards and pieces of the underlying material sticking out between the boards of 5he floors. Also on the floors and thresholds are dents and I was told by the first person assigned to see my problems that I had to wait 60 days before complaining. Another big issue is the fact that we don’t have a mail box yet and of course there is no delivery for packages available to us either. Hope they resolve all of these issues soon

The overall buying experience with Lennar was a very pleasant one and was a smooth process all the way through closing. The staff was very helpful and attentive prior to closing. My concerns and negative feedback is a result of post closing ownership. Following the closing on our home it seemed like we were forgotten about within the first 30 days. Hi I have started with short period liked the house. Initiated all process on loan and negotiation. They put home of the week for the less price with discount and when we were talking to finalize. They came up with increasing prices. They play a lot of tricks and look for what most benefits to them. They offer very less interest rates to many customers but they don't disclose. They accidentally exposed in one email and they covered up.

With all the things going on in my life nothing is easy. I came from a home that a friend built and I loved for 22 years and I had people I could call to fix things but not so here. I have to register my own appliances-there are staples in the carpeting and it is hard adjusting but I will get there. The neighbors are nice and I am taking it day by day.

Not very good options for townhomes!

The prebuilt town homes have very cheap appliances. I had to replace all of the appliances. The town homes also do not come with can lights throughout, so expensive to add on a town home with upstairs. It is a dark place later when the sun goes down. I had a lot of issues since I moved in which is not normal, as I have purchased 3 new homes in the past from different builders without any issues.

The overall value of the house for what I paid is reasonable. However, when buying a new house, I do not expect things to have been installed incorrectly or cover-up made when contractors clearly broke something. It wasn’t until I took my first shower and my brand new home that I noticed the Shower liner had a crack at the top that had clearly been attempted to be covered up with caulk. This is a brand new home. We are aware it's not custom still doesn't mean when you move in there should be so many issues. Stop using the cheapest materials. We hung a small picture and the sheet rocks just fell apart. We have had a problem with almost every Appliance. I told my son I wanted new because I felt it was less stress I was wrong. The Trades were horrible. Cabinets were Cheap and doors warped. We've had so many problems. That being said. Home looks fine, but sloppy builds. cabinets are not leveled, cabinet door rubs against base when opening, a lot of edges need caulk as there’s small cracks, paint thinned/cracks on top of walls. Tons of smaller details. No window screens, no fans, and little things they can do to improve. Overall good experience, but could definitely step it up for a better review!
