We had our home built and we only had 1 package choice in options, color of carpeting, tile and floor planking. The windows, HVAC and appliances are on the low end of quality. Clean up was terrible. We spent a minimum of 20 hours scraping paint off the floor and trim.

Everything was good with the building experience, the communication, time lines. but there are a lot of Quality issues, workmanship and materials used. Simple things like Sodding, Attic Access, Fence, Plumbing, Tiles, Flooring ... every where the quality speaks ... Never i will again buy a Lennar Home

Less than pleased with Lennar completing items. Punch list was not completed until 2 months after move in. Carpet in main bedroom was stained and is still not replaced. Garage floor was not cured properly and still sticky. Still waiting word on when they will redo. I put requests in but still have not heard anything.

We have been very impressed with Lennar's response to work orders for customer care issues. The vendors they send out are prompt and efficient. We have been completely satisfied and would recommend anyone to use Lennar Customer Care

We loved the sales team. Mortgage was a headache. A lot of the supplies are cheaply made and constructed “to spec” but they’re not done the right way. Like the electric box. It’s approved by village inspectors but not done the best way. The windows and wall’s allow for a lot of noise from the outside

Almost everything was great. I did have a bad experience when a problem developed due to negligence from a contractor and Lennar was slow to help. I am very happy with my new home.

Beautiful homes, but be sure you are THOROUGH on your "Celebration" (HA!)walk-through. Once you sign on that dotted line, they are on to the next. Sure, you will get a call to be ensure nobody else goes through what you did, but they do nothing to resolve your own issues. So I'm warning others here too.

The people who work for Lennar were great. All were very helpful and very responsive. I’m not sure the corporation was as great. Not long after we signed our contract the price for identical unsold homes was reduced. We came to an agreement and they supplemented our purchase with other perks. However, shortly after that the price was reduced again. In the end we paid $13,000 more for our home at closing than the price the same homes were being sold for on that date. Hard not to feel like we were taken.

Not the best experience so far

First time home buyer. Did not realize everything I would have to look out for. If I had thought to check some of these things probably would not have purchased this home. No faucet in the back yard to water my grass. I feel this should be mandatory, but what do I know? All the toe kicks in the kitchen are hanging on for dear life they will all fall off eventually. Had a minor gas leak that I did not report for a few weeks because I was told the faint fas smell near the meter was NORMAL, yes Im the idiot for believing that, this I do realize. Im sure there's more that I can't remember.

Overall smooth, but some disappointing issues

Our home buying process started from out of state, everything went fairly smooth at the start, and when we were local were even able to switch lots. After that construction updates were few and far between, with a delay in close date, which I understand is the nature of the beast. We found it odd there wasn't technically a blue tape walk, although we used our orientation to do that with the customer service person. Once we got to closing that was smooth, however the construction manager and customer service rep for Lennar told us to compile our list of things that needed attention within the ...

We moved into our house and several things still needed fixing! From painting, fixing a door that wouldn’t close to cabinets that have major cracks in them, under bathroom cabinets that have not been sealed or painted, caulking around one of the toilets to the master shower drain being plugged with debris and wouldn’t drain at all. That took 3 times coming 1 to see what was wrong, the other two times to “snake the drain” before it finally worked. In a nutshell it looked they they just threw it together at the end! We’ve contacted the contractor and site manager numerous times. Some ...

You do get a lot with the new home. Fence, grass, bark, trees and shrubs. Good luck with getting timely responses and fixes to warranty issues. They could greatly improve in this area.

My biggest issue is the fact that for over 400k the landscaping company fails to put landscaping material down before putting mulch down. I know the HOA wants all residents to pull weeds and maintain the flower beds. If landscape material is put down it helps weeds NOT TO GROW.

Sales process was great, then color choices, tile, brick etc. became an issue. Forced to revert to other choices. Still trying to get little quality issues resolved in the warranty process. Slow to respond, some final inspection items still need to be corrected 2 months after closing. Not being negative, I just expect quicker, better service.

We closed on our home in November at the National in Ave Maria. Our final walk-through was scheduled with Stephen virtually as we are from out of Country and couldn't be in town on the closing date. We lost connection part way through the call so had decided via a phone conversation that we would do the walk-through in person after the closing when we were going to be in town. Almost 2 months later and still no walk-thru. We left multiple messages for Stephen that were left unanswered. We were told by our sales representative that he was coming by on a specific date and he was a no-show. ...

Lennar - The home buying process was great!

The home buying process was great! Ashely was AMAZING!!! She was there for us throughout the entire process. As for the builder Lennar, they make BEAUTIFUL homes/layouts. However, because they're rushing to complete everything, they're half-assing important details. We've had MULTIPLE issues since before closing and well after closing. Issues from electrical to appliances to sod to plumbing, to name a few. I don't think it's Lennar's fault, however, they're not overseeing that these things are in proper working condition prior to closing. No one should have to close and then have to ...

Great Home, but finishing was sloppy and construction has been inconvenient

We are very happy with our place, however I am going to leave very honest feedback with the hopes that things are improved for our future neighbors! The appliances, materials, and equipment are all high end and good build quality, but the finish appeared sloppy and in our opinion did not meet the standard. Paint was slopped on doors, tiles, windows, light fixtures, light switches, appliances (Fridge, oven, microwave, etc.). The door jambs had plaster/paint all over them. It appeared very rushed. Our cabinets had a lot of nicks and scratches. The railings, baseboard/trim, and crown molding ...

Don't get me wrong. We are enjoying our new home; however, we are finding things that we missed. I've notified those who asked to be notified, and I've been acknowledged, but nobody's come to look at the issues. We measured the room sizes for furniture placement and found the 4th bedroom is smaller than the house plan drawing. It's 15 sq. ft. less than what's shown on that house drawing.
