Prior to close discovered chip in granite! Summer was to handle this Monday morning after close- no one showed up no follow through- QR code done and requested by Haley no response. Prior to move in we noticed laundry door did not shut- mentioned to Jeff he looked at it said he’d handle- nothing no- Phil called spoke to him. No one cared to follow up! Great customer care!:( i came for a visit a month after closing, the laminate floor creeks everywhere you step on it downstairs, is it missing something underneath???- a new floor should not creek everywhere you step. Poor install???? Also I noticed front shutter warping out - this should not happen to a shutter with in 5 weeks of closing! The overall purchase experience from reserving to closing could have been better. We find different folks from sales support to loan, there always been some errors or omissions. After closing, we did a walkthrough the home, and we immediately find out when we standing in the kitchen, the floor bounces when the garage fire door closes. We then test the stability of the floor with others walking around the house, and we also felt the floor slightly bounces as others walk around the home. We mentioned to Lennar representatives but he asked us to submit a response. We also can hear neighbor in downstair when they were in garage and feel the floor bounces when they closes their garage door. We are very sensitive to movements, and with Lennar building these multi-family homes with families in different levels, this is simply disturbing to us. We feel there should be better support of joist for 2nd floor and insulation of noises from families. We also see many amenities are missing such as medicine cabinets and towel racks in the bathrooms.. ... More

when you move in to a new construction home, you expect it to be clean & tidy, unfortunately that wasn't the case. the bathrooms were left extremely dirty. was disappointed to see that.

Even though leading up to closing day was so stressful, Ms. Carolyn made it all worthwhile. From my initial contact with her to the present, Ms. Carolyn was extremely helpful and honest!!! On closing day, my bank delayed the wire transfer until after closing time but she stayed around until confirmation came from the title office. Definitely have to give a shout out to the guys that did the final walkthrough. They were authentic and personable. They answered all my questions and gave contact information if I needed assistance. Great Team!!!!

We wish there was more support and clarity from the staff for various milestones. On closing we didn't get to experience anything special about our repeat purchase with Lennar.

This wasn’t the experience I was expecting as a first time home buyer. So truly, as a first time buyer, it’s disappointing. The only good thing about it all was working with the salesperson. Amanda was friendly and responsive. However, a rocky start with the lender as she was completely unresponsive. It took a couple weeks before I was told she wasn’t with the company and had to begin over with someone new. So overall, wouldn’t recommend. It felt rushed and when final walk through date arrived, it felt deceiving because I was told some issues that the home inspector found on his report had been “fixed” during the week prior. I’m dealing with things now that apparently weren’t. I felt I couldn’t get the home inspector to return and check b/c closing was on the same date as final walk through & was told I’d lose the rate that was part of the sale in January if we waited any longer (even though it had already been extended once). My only positive thought is that this will not be my forever home and this was a lesson learned for me. ... More

I am sorry but this house was put together way too quick where the quality of the work was less than professional. To have my Construction Supervisor ignore my realtor and myself with question speaks volumes after the closing. I have had great luck with the warranty representative helping me remedy the issues I have encountered in the house along with workers who are part of the repairs. I have been here over a month and still getting my list of issues taken care of.

This is my 3rd new construction home and my experience with Lennar has opportunities for improvement related to craftsmanship and responsiveness . We had carpet tacks all over beyond any experience we had before and the response we received is that is normal which is not. The sliding door in the kitchen was missing the lock. The lock was not there at alll and two months in the air conditioner is not working when is hot and the feedback is that an appointment is set for two weeks later to have someone to just check. This is not the experience I was looking to have specially when this is my 3rd new construction home and I had good experiences before. I suggest that the team look at the suppliers they selected because we went with Lennar based on recommendation and so far we are disappointed. ... More

We were excited to move into our new home only to find several issues needing to be resolved. Although there has been response to issues there did not see to be a sense of urgency. It seemed to be more of a "we have more homes to build so we'll get to you". Recommend Lennar hire more help to oversee construction as it is happening and not subject homeowners to seek "after close" resolutions to issues that should have been corrected before closing. These are $500k plus properties and should be afforded better attention to detail.

Communication is key, we had some and then we didn’t. Although the process of providing paperwork was painful, it got done. As a veteran, there should be more support on the process on getting you tax exemptions submitted. After purchase, I want to commend Travis who has made the post sale awesome. Always ready to help resolve issues that come up. You should do something for him. A raise,or promotion?

We had a great consultant when we were serious about look that showed all the options and was very upfront about everything from the beginning and did a great job at keeping us posted as it was built. Overall price for a brand new house…. It’s great. You can tell that they are mass produced for some of the rushed jobs and less than average quality on some things, but that’s gonna happen with mass produced homes. With a good final walkthrough and private inspection, they will take care of the touch ups and things noted. There have been a few minor things since we moved in. Some of them have been handled quick and some we have no idea where they are at with coming to fix it. They don’t seal the granite and grout so be prepared to do some finishing on that. Appliances are decent, mid level appliances. Overall for what you get with the brand new house and the warranties, it’s a great deal and totally worth it. Would do it again. Just be prepared to thoroughly inspect, and be persistent if there is something not right or needs fixing. Need to advocate for self but Lennar has been pleasant to work with. ... More

They keep giving us the run around ,we haven’t been able to open our garage since we bought the house. They keep telling us thier working on it it’s been two month.

Lennar did such a great job fitting us with the home that best fits our families needs and wants!

Many issues with appliances not working and minor detail flaws

From beginning to the end of my home building process, it was seamless and a wonderful experience. Special thank you to Audi, Adam, Mike, Craig, and Erik for all of their help.

We are mostly satisfied. We have some issues to be addressed. We are terribly disappointed in the poor quality of our deck. This will be noted for Lennar review in our 60 day report.

We are very happy with our last home purchase. Our salesperson Karl, our Customer Service rep Isaiah who is absolutely the best and Missy our home construction contact were very communicative, attentive and resolved problems. The quality of the home is ok, homes sat for a while awaiting inspection due to the heavy building in the area. It's a stick home and you have very little or no options, you get what you get that is on that plot. Great open design and very accomodating for 55 over. They have a tremendous amount of activities and clubs and can't wait for the amenity center to be built. In today's environment the homes are priced competitively and they give you a nice product but we have had better experiences with building up north. 1. Door strike on front door is missing. 2. Baseboard trim gaping from the wall in many places. 3. Incorrect emergency contact number. 4. Stairwell had to be repainted 5 times (orange peel and runs) at our insistence 5. At final walk through windows we’re still grimy. 6. Ant infestation in house. 7. Furnace vent crooked above roofline. 8. Wood exposed around outside of former windows. 9. Concrete poured down valve box to fire hydrant.

We have had multiple major issues that should not have passed through the construction stage. We have multiple counter top issues, the wrong colored glass slider, and the new GE appliances are damaged and installed incorrectly and multiple bathroom vents leak during heavy rains. The warranty service manger is helping deal with the items, but as a construction professional myself it is disappointing that these items were deemed acceptable. When you pay for a new home you want the quality that is expected for what is payed. You will always have finishing issues and small items like drywall, flooring, etc. but the major issues that we have had to deal with should not be the allowed standard during construction. ... More

The quality of the work is good, except there are a few issues that I contacted but never got resolved.

Workmanship is lacking and not much info about smart devices

I felt like the buying process overall was fairly smooth, but I more so had issues with the quality of work and how many things needed to be fixed. For a new home, it was surprising how many initial issues we had. I felt like they rushed some of the work. For example, there were paint marks everywhere on the floors and door handles. Some of the materials felt cheap including our floor and the interior doors. I will give Lennar credit for coming to fix everything, but just surprised at the amount of issues for the amount we paid. Its an amazing neighborhood so can't complain about the area.

Worst experience I ever had buying a home. Most unprofessional, disorganized don't care attitude I have ever encountered. The only thing they are interested in is getting your earnest money, afterwards the worst customer service ever. I will never buy another home from these people. Difficult to get a response from, dealing with people in Arizona, Texas and Florida at the same time was a complete nightmare.

This has been awful. I have submitted a complaint to corporate already regarding the experience. We were lied to. Pressured. Lied to some more. Not given proper communication. Pretty positive we have retaliation from the sales and construction managers. No one has contacted us and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of care.
