Back Yard Mud Pit

We called out that there was water accumulation in the back yard that was not dissipating prior to purchase. It was listed as an exception to close. The water did dissipate some but not completely. This is a huge inconvenience as we have dogs and every time they go outside, when they return, the dogs muddy up the floor. During closing and after closing the Lennar Rep did make contact. We turned off the water sprinklers a week after we purchased house and the mud/water has remained, to this day. I will be contacting the rep after the holidays to see about getting this remediated. excellent support during construction once I closed there is no support or dates when the open issues are going to be resolved I am not sure to whom to talk to which makes me really disappointed.

Jennifer was fantastic. Always there to help us. She advocated on our behalf more than once. We had a terrible experience with the dishwasher. It never worked properly and had to finally 6 weeks later be replaced. I felt Rich did not help as much as he should have. I did not want to blow up before I got the result I needed. Customer Care was not very helpful

I guess the house is nice. A bit overpriced for the quality of the workmanship. Responsiveness post closing has been very lackluster.

Purchasing went smoothly, but then once in the house and items discovered that needed fixing, well then...that takes some time and effort getting anyone to come back to actually fix it. You have to call and call, then call some more and it still isn't fixed. I don't like having to be the squeaky wheel, but if that's the only way to get them to come back, I'll be squeaking all day long.

The sale rep & loan part was great 5 stars. The problem comes in with walkthrough and after closing with issues. I suggest you record the walkthrough and catch everything cause everything isn’t written down they say on I can fix it now and will tell you that outlet works on finial walkthrough but it doesn’t and you call New home rep and never get response

They take the whole experience of buying a New Home to a level of take it as is. At first i was so impressed until it came to work on the details, Attention to details is not on the list. Ive moved about a month and 1/2 and there is still unpainted spot outside the house with bent gutters covers. Just make sure you get everything corrected; otherwise prepared to hear a lot of “we don’t cover that … , that’s owner’s responsibility”. This is what you get when the work is unsupervised. Gave 4 * in overall since Finance, and sales people overall were awesome thru this period of buying.

I like where I live now, but the workmanship is horrible. It’s taken forever to the job done correctly. They rush you into closing with 9 pages of work that has to be done .

Not the best at following up. There are a few outstanding issues. A representative has been out. Someone was supposed to return the following week for repairs n such. We haven't heard anything. We've been here 3 months. Overall, I absolutely love the area and our new home.

Over it is ok experience to work with Lennar, the final walk through by construction manager and customer care rep, they are not that knowledgeable any question asked it is pretty much "i think so " and "i am not sure " answers.

Nice home design, but too many flaws in quality and workmanship. These are some of flaws; no space for laundry in laundry room, ethernet and TV cable connection on wrong side of the wall, door bell deflective, garage door don't close evenly, and no room for towel rack in the master bathroom due to shower door hits the rack. It took warranty staff to fix my garage door five times, and door bell twice still not fixed. Waiting for this coming Friday appointment.

Purchased our brand new Lennar home 2 months ago. Our new home is beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for until….. After being in the home for a week we noticed the A/C was having issues keeping The house cool. After several warranty calls/visits the issue is still not resolved. Hoping we will come to some kind of resolution soon.

Cindy from the sales team was amazing! Troy was wonderful in assisting us with resolving credit issues. The quality of the workmanship was subpar and the fact that I had medicine cabinets linen closets, and ample storage space in my 2 bedroom apartment and not in a $300,000 home makes the value for the price paid less than great!

The interior house painting

The paint job mostly on the inside of the home was the worst I ever experienced. There are whole strips of wall not painted. They missed along the base boards, corners and doors. I tried to get it touched up by they still did a sloppy job missing most areas. During the walk through the Lennar rep used blue painter tape to also mark missed areas. It appears the painters just took down the blue tape and didn't touch up all missed spots. Every neighbor has complied about the interior painting. Even your own reps said it was poor. But they had no control of the painters, it was common knowledge ...

Lennar has been great to work with so far. Dana has been awesome supporting our punchiest issues. GC has not been back to finish punch list issues after several calls and text. Dana is working on it. Kitchen countertop has pits and Cloudy spots that will not come out. I know several owners have replaced counter and carpet already. Lennar needs to look into supplier and quality going into condos.

Lennar is definitely a large company looking to turn homes quickly. Everything is sub-contracted out, and it doesn't seem the sub contractors really cared about the quality of their work. Lots of small imperfections that you would expect in a nearly $700k home

Sales people seemed to say anything to make a sale even if they later couldn't or wouldn't follow through on things. Also, the fact Lennar decided to no longer do 1-year touch ups was not made clear until warranty walk-through, I've never heard of a builder not doing at least a 1-year. My previous builder did 6-month and 1-year. Not being able to make any alterations, even simple things like moving lights is ridiculous for the price range. If they aren't going to let you pay for extra recessed lights (or even just move them), then they should let you bring a licensed electrician ...

I'm having a difficult time giving a great review due to some of the issues that, we are going through. Poor craftsmanship, bad painting, bad sod, and the list goes on. I had a better experience in Nevada in 2009 when I purchased my first home from Lennar. Sorry they need to hire better professionals.

We still haven’t received all the items in this “move in ready” home. It’s been nearly 60 days and we still don’t have the advertised (and paid for). We’ve contacted the local Lennar reps several times over the past month and still haven’t received the fridge or an alternate solution to the problem. It’s an issue that would prevent me from ever considering another Lennar home or recommending one to a friend/colleague.

More problems than a D R Horton home

My Lennar dream home turned into a nightmare. Drain lines backed up into the house . Had to have them cleaned out 3 times in the first month. Electrical plug-ins and light switches are in the wrong place on the walls. Cabinet doors installed wrong. Stove is unlevel. I could go on and on but I'm running out of room to write.
