I had lot of bad experiences with Lennar in the whole process

Sales and after sales support were very good. Cleanliness of the house was poor when received. Interior Logic Group pricing for upgrades were veeeeeery expensive. Options available for upgrades almost none existent.

My wife and I purchased a Lauderdale style home. The builders were responsive the sellers too. There were the inevitable things in the walk through. Most were addressed but many were not.

First day in the house someone (from the looks of things most likely one of the workers on site) stole all the arc fault breakers out of my panel. First day welsome to your new home. Afte approaching Lenar, I was given the "Sorry Charlie get lost" Not much of a warm welcome is it. I spent $1400 of my own money to replace all breakers and have an electrician come out on an emergency call sfter hours. I think Lenar could have done a little bit more....

Chance encounter turns into a lifetime change. At discount tires, replacing a tire that was flat. Only to to find out it wasn’t flat at all, rim was cracked. Discount already threw away 2 perfectly fine tires. Didn’t want to buy two rims to match, needed to buy all four. A gentleman named Jeff, who was in the lobby, overheard the ordeal and offered to give me 4 new tires and rims from his old car, for free! Sounded too good to be true. But indeed it was. After gifting me the rims and tires, we exchanged pleasantries and found we had alot of life similarities , and he asked if I ever needed help with anything else in life, don’t hesitate to call. Also, if I were trying to get a home, he could help. Gave me his number, met up, found out he worked for Lennar, and two months later, he helped my wife and I purchase our first home. Tears of joy all around. Off a chance encounter! Throughout the entire process, his wife and his team worked diligently to help us, along with Ryan and his team as well. They are so calm and patient, and ensured us every step of the way that this was meant to be, and they would help you with the new chapter of your lives, becoming homeowners! Kristin closed the deal with making us feel like we are apart of the family her warm introduction and tour of our new home. I could not have written a better script for this process, nor assembled a better group of individuals to make my family and I feel part of the Lennar family. ... More

It was fast and easy. The communication between seller, lender and buyers is very efficient and get a response right away.

Hi Team - We purchased a Cerasi Plan and have verified with multiple trials that the garages are not suitable for owners with large mid-sized SUVs, Full size SUVs and Trucks. The root cause of this is the cosmetic divider which creates a two door garage instead of a single one door garage. We have verified the experience with multiple owners of the same plan and all have the same feedback. - Elton

First of all we are so happy we found this hidden gem in Hill Country. We drive into the community at the recommendation of a realtor from Johnson Ranch. We met Debby at the models. Debby took us out to look at some homes that were being built. We found one with an amazing view out back. Not only did we get the home for a fair price, they paid all closing costs and paid down the interest rate. Although some of the craft mens ship was a little concern, all issues were resolved prior to move in. We could t be happier here. We love all of our new neighbors and our community here. The amenities are great with the pools, gym, basketball and parks. Thank you for making our home our new slice of Heaven! ... More

We bought our Lennar home recently, we did the blue tape walk through yet most of what we taped off was never taken care of. We were told that the paint on our windows would be gone as well and that we would get the extra screens we were missing which didn’t happen until recently paint still there and the screens don’t fit. We have had some issues with the way our laundry closet was set up by the builders we put in a ticket and the plumber who came out flat out said he wouldn’t take care of it even though it was their company that messed it up. We also had some flooring lift up and two kids came in with gorilla glue and “fixed” the flooring… a few issues have been fixed but for the most part it’s been a joke none the less. The quality of home is one of the worst new builds I have ever seen. Lvp floors are not level all over the house and feel extremely hollow because they are floating floors. They make noises with every step and are really loud. Drywall is bowed all over the place, baseboards are also bowed all over the place, counter top island is also crooked and not straight, paint job is terrible and sticking and peeling everywhere, paint and drywallis cracking in every window, the paint is not smooth and feels like sandpaper, touch up paint is a completely different color being used in the house when they "fixed" items during closing. Carpet seams showing (which we were lied to saying it was not a seam, however further inspection shows it is a seam), also drywall seams showing, exhaust vents leak when raining, hvac shakes the whole entire house, noises all over the home. Walls are extremely thin with no noise dampening and water can be heard draining throughout the house. Subfloor feels like its not nailed to anything. Worst part is, these are all supposedly "normal" and within standards. I have yet to see a part of the house that looks normal. Quality control seems to be lacking and the responsive to issues is also almost non-existent. The worst part about the home would be the bowed walls and crooked baseboards and the floors as they are extremely un-level, and feels like youre walking on lumps with every step. The warranty system for the home is also one of the worst as alot of fixes are one-time fixes for the year. If you have issues with the home the moment you move in, you will have to deal with the issues until the one year comes up. ... More

We had a great experience with the responsiveness of all the Lennar people we interacted with. We have bought and built many homes over the years and this was the best overall experience with any builder that we have had.

I had no previous experience in buying a house. Doing this process with Lennar was really good. I had a lot of support and transparency with the builder, loan and title companies, as they were all integrated. The whole closing process was extremely easy. The house introduction and inspection was very professional. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with Lennar and would recommend to others.

EXCELLENT! it was great overall

Poor workmanship-from the entry in the courtyard to the rear windows of the building. There is nothing that stands out in a good way. Cheap labor, cheap materials, poor finishes. The only plus is the location, something that Lennar banked on-building fast, poor (quality) and expensive.

If they don’t want a sloppy built home with a builder who doesn’t care because it’s all about who can build the most home in the shortest amount of time then stay away from lennar. The only time they care or reach out is when they get a bad review then you phone starts ringing & your email starts to go off. You have to live with a bad built & try to fix things yourself because of incompetent construction crew & a lennar team that wants to make sure there pay check is correct. All these mistakes will cost your company more in the end with a class action lawsuit. A company that knows better but won’t do better. ... More

Buying home with Lennar is nightmare, I would not recommend anyone go with Lennar at least in Sutton fields. 1) To start with Ronnie (sales agent) She is one point of contact who gave me 20 min to select a home and never picked my call after booking, responds only text message, no regular update on construction or meeting with construction manager. For any questions asked she was rude and will threaten like you can cancel your home if you are not happy. No updates provided as a courtesy to us on changing home Brick color, removing vinyl on bed room or delay in construction time. I must reach her every time to get weekly update. She will provide default answers like construction delay or no updates from construction manager, Never provided specific details. Two of my buddies booked home with MI in my street Sutton fields, I was part of walk through and closing, they took responsible for every item and had really good home busing experience. After that I would never recommend any one to go with Lennar. 2) Walk through is less than 15 minutes and sent me document in mail only 15 mins before inspection while I was driving to inspection, Sprinkler or Sod was not covered in inspection and it is not part of warranty. Sod provided to home 4316,4317,4321 and 4312 tartt ave are 4- Quack glass weed. When I asked during inspection solution provided is we will mow it before closing. All the concerns I said during inspection was not documented and inspection person said we will address it and will do pressure wash home before I close it. After getting the Keys home was untouched and none of the issues are addressed. When I asked sales agent, she asked me to go to warranty. Warranty people say exterior is not covered in warranty. (Door threshold is full of cement, Patio is covered in mud, insulation was removed in attic and not placed back under A/C unit.) When all 4 homeowners raised this issue to Wayne on the second day after closing, he inspected home and said it is from soil. When I pulled sod out and should him it from sod, he has no answer. Then move on and saying this is not covered in warranty. That shows lennar has no Quality control on Sod purchase. Even now all 4 home owners have no clue how to get red of quack glass (which has no herbicide to control it) Nursery and lawn experts recommend to resod or kill and reseed entire lawn. Would like some one to come and see the Sod provided to us, who is genuine and ready to address issue. Will continue writing my lennar home buying/after sale experience in all possible forums and groups until we get any solution from lennar. ... More

Absolutely horrible buying experience for my first time buying a home. The list could go on but just know I would never recommend a Lennar home to anyone and I will never purchase one again.

In our experience, the home buying process at The Province in Indian Wells was terrible, although we love the home, the neighborhood, and our neighbors. The main trouble came from the Representative at the model homes, Corina. Once we opened escrow, this was our point of contact. During escrow, Corina was very uncommunicative, told us wrong or incomplete information countless times, and even almost caused us to lose the house on two different occasions. On the day of closing, which fell on a Friday, Corina dropped the ball once again and we had to drive from Indian Wells to Menifee to the Lennar Escrow office to fix it and close on time (4.5 hour roundtrip drive and had to leave work unexpectedly to do so). Corina and the sales team take Thursdays and Fridays off with no communication or support available, so if your contingencies and or/closing date fall on a Thursday or Friday...beware...you are on your own those days. The unfortunate part is Lennar seems to not care at all about Corina's lack of ability...we have met three other couples that recently bought here that had a terrible experience with Corina's work too, causing a lot of stress during the buying process. Oh...and if you're self employed, bring your own loan. We wanted to take advantage on the $10k in closing costs' credit, but the Lennar loan person didn't have more than 1 year of experience, so he just denied us the loan 4 days before loan contingencies were to lift; we secured our own loan within the four days with no problems, and we had to fight to get the $10k credit even though we "had" to use our own loan officer/company. If you close in spring done expect your yard to be graded, your sprinklers to go in, or to see your sod anytime soon. I was PROMISED I was first on the list when that came. That was in April. It’s 90 degrees in June and I continue to look at a mound of dirt, weed bushes up to my chest, and ricks where my grass should be. It’s a joke. Don’t give them a dollar if you ever want service from Lennar. I avoided writing this review, but they kept asking for one. So, here we are.

My buying experience was horrible, from the moment I signed the contract and paid my down payment. My sales person did nothing to earn his fee. No one even met me at my home to hand me my keys. I was told they were in a drawer. When I arrived, the house was filthy; there was even a dishwasher in the great room. I have over 40 issues needing warranty work. The workmanship was deplorable. I am shocked that Lennar would let such a product carry its name. The mortgage company was also sub par. I couldn't get people to respond to me, and it took several attempts to get every issue resolved. The ONLY part of my buying experience that was of quality was the closing. My notary was excellent, and the closing was smooth (although, the title company had the incorrect closing date on several documents). Since my purchase, my warranty rep, Susan B., has been EXCELLENT. She is responsive, dependable, and takes pride in her work. ... More

It has been 45 days since closing and we have a 20 item punch list of construction issues that have not been resolved. For the money paid for the home, I thought I would have received a handle on the dishwasher and trash bins for the trash cabinet in the kitchen. But I guess those items are luxuries.

Bought inventory home. Not bad. Some small issues with details, drywall seams, appliances, sinks, fence and counter top. Overall not a bad build. The builder and staff were helpful. The closing process was a nightmare, but overall we got a nice deal.
