No a pleasant experience. lots of things still wrong with house and no one willing to help us.

Overall not a good experience.

I just closed on my 8th home, and unfortunately, this was the most unprofessional and frustrating experience of them all. While I am thrilled to be in Carnes Crossroads, the process with Lennar was a major letdown. Key Issues: Poor Construction Management: My construction manager was so sloppy that I eventually gave up on a repair request and fixed it myself before closing. Subcontractor Negligence: Contractors left permanent stains on the garage floor, deck, and concrete outdoor areas that cannot be removed. Lennar Mortgage was the WORST: I was cycled through three different agents who never briefed one another, forcing me to repeat information constantly. Closing Nightmare: It took two appointments and over three hours to close due to an archaic, back-and-forth document approval process. Poor Communication: The selling agent frequently provided incorrect information and failed to follow up on basic requests. The Verdict: If you walk through Carnes Crossroads, you can clearly see the supreme construction quality in the original section compared to the newer Lennar section. Lennar provided a wonderful experience in buying our first home. Entrust your family with Lennar; you'll be glad you did!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a new home from Lennar, and I strongly caution future buyers to double-check their contracts. You expect a brand-new build to be move-in ready, but ours has been a nightmare of poor craftsmanship and what feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch. First, our appliances were delivered more than five weeks late. When they finally arrived, Lennar severely downgraded them from what we paid for. Our contract clearly stated a refrigerator value of $2,440, but they delivered a model worth only $1,048. The contract also listed the washer and dryer at a $2,520 value, but they gave us units worth only $748 each. They shorted us over $2,400 in appliance value alone, hoping we wouldn't notice! On top of this, the house itself lacks quality control. Upon moving in, we found a visible hole in the restroom drywall, cracked wood on the side of the house, and several cosmetic defects. We have reported these issues, but their customer service team drags their feet and has still not fixed them. Once you sign the closing papers, Lennar abandons you. Hire your own inspector, verify every appliance model number against your contract, and be prepared for a fight. ... More

Nice people to work with

It’s unfortunate to be writing this review. I can’t believe all the horror stories we heard prior to buying are actually true. We received some very last minute bad surprises on closing day. Thankfully our agent fought for us and got us some relief so we could still close. The quality of everything installed was also extremely poor. Without going too much into details, I will not recommend this company.

We adore our new house, the floor plan and space are perfect, the systems and resources you have are so helpful, and everything was smooth and easy. However, it's the PEOPLE who really made the experience outstanding! Mitch, Ryan, Sophie, Taylor, and Kenna went way above and beyond! My husband experienced some significant health issues during the buying/closing process, and everyone we worked with at Lennar was caring, compassionate, responsive, and extremely helpful. With Lennar being such a huge company, we might have been treated like a number, but instead, it was very personal and everyone was very genuine. Have been disappointed by the follow-up on issues outlined in the initial walkthrough with the builder. Simple fixes should have been addressed within weeks, not months as we have experienced.

The process of purchasing the home was good. The overall quality of the home so far is ok but I have had issues with my dishwasher and it has not been fun going back and forth between Lenar and Electrolux, the weather stripping on the front door was trash, and all the items that were identified in the walk through were not fixed as promised.

Lennar very aggressive closing date, wasn't very accommodating.

The whole experience was not what I imagined being my first time buying a home. There is a lot of poor communication. They lied about the HOA amount prior to locking you in on the mortgage. I have emailed and call multiple people but no one has got back to me to fix the issue. Logan is one of the saleman and I believe just want to make his commission so he will tell you anything so be careful. Do not trust anything the people from Lennar says. I personally should have listened when other warned me about them. You live and you learn. I do not recommend it at all.

Im a first time buyer and Lennar team help me walk through it. It is a very hard ordeal of sending the requirements because they have to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Craftsmanship and quality is junk! Put zero effort into building a home that we paid a lot of money for! One of the worst craftsmanship that I have ever encountered. If I could return the home I would! It will be the first and last time I will ever purchase a Lennar home. I would never recommend Lennar homes to friends or family!

It was a great experience from day 1. Excellent service with the Sales Dept, Loan Officer, and Construction Foreman. We LOVE our forever home. Thank you Lennar!

We are very happy with Megan who made it all happen from beginning until the last process. Even after sales, she still communicated & catered to our needs. Lennar is very lucky to have an asset like her . A huge thank you to Megan!... TJ is also an asset to this team. He delivers! The not so nice experience is the closing part, when we were signing all the papers . We weren't sure if it's because of our payment type that's why we were not treated well, but the lady in charge there didn't make us feel important. She left us for another family who needed to take a mortgage. There was no happiness in that closing period. She made us feel NOT important. Keana her assistant is a nice person. The boss is NOT! ... On the other hand, My overall experience from Lennar is a “0”. I purchased a home in December 2025. Their system was mediocre, inefficient, confusing, and the home overpriced for what I paid for it. They’ll make it look like the price is right, but it is not. They will get their money in many other ways during the process before closing on your home. Many unknown numbers included in the closing documents for charges that should not have been there, or other charges for things that otherwise could have been waved or eliminated altogether. Their financing lender services were horrible, unprofessional, untrusted and, in my case, there were too many different people involved making the system incredibly unworthy. Once the closing date takes place, it is another story of more confusion, the running around having them fix anything. Their so called “Virtual” meeting where you must use your personal phone to show them what you are complaining about fulfils their willingness to have the issue fixed. It almost feels like you must prove to them that your complaint about fixing anything in your home must be proven before being approved, instead of honoring the warranty that comes with the house. Having to pay for two different HOA’s for your house is beyond me and extremely confusing and unfriendly. The constant harassment, threats and bullying approach from HOA staff about home infraction violations is disturbing and illegal. Their HOA system is not centralized, making their system navigation a big inconvenience, frustrating and certainly unfriendly to use. Amenities are far from the house, and not big enough for all the people living within the community. Their vision is more of quantity, instead of quality homes as my house after only a few weeks of purchase, water leaked inside of one of the room’s walls making a big mess creating a long week of many different types of inconvenience. It took forever to get my closing amount I needed to bring. My closing date was moved 3 times. I received a phone call at around 8pm on a Saturday night to try to seta closing for Monday. The finishing detail work was at a level that moost companies would fire someone for.

Great experience from start to finish. It was very easy to keep track of progress through the portal. The house was delivered on time as promised with no delays. Lennar insurance was competitive and made it a one stop shop. The sales team and the back office team including the closing agent were all extremely professional, courteous and easy to work with, from signing the purchase agreement and all the way through the close of sale. Keep up the great work, Lennar team!

Stacked homes, “townhouses” are best described as apartment living. I specifically asked if the neighbors can be heard because no one had moved above or next door yet. I was told No! This is not the case! . I did not sign up for apartment living where I can hear the neighbors every step and move. This was deceiving - there should be honesty and transparency. Now that neighbors have moved in, I hear everything. The only time I don’t hear them is when I’m in the shower.

After visiting many homes for sale our last visit was to a Lennar home. The Lennar home had everything that we were searching for in a home. The lending process was a bit stressful but the entire Lennar team were both professional and very nice. Any questions were answered in a timely manner. The home inspection went well and the minor things that were noted were immediately addressed. We have been in our new home for just a few weeks and we just love everything about our home. I have rented 4 homes and purchased 4 homes prior and this is by far my favorite.
