overall a nice product but attention to detail of painters and sheet rockers to include cleanliness is lacking. without our construction mgr things would have been extremely frustrating!

I just purchased my first home with Lennar. The experience went more smoothly than I expected. The house is perfect for me (literally everything I was looking for), and the loan process was made very easy by my loan officer and processor. Communication was great between everyone. Very happy with how everything turned out.

The Lennar portals were easy to use and navigate. The sales people and agents were very friendly and ready to answer any questions I had. My favorite part though, is how responsive Lennar is to post-sales complaints or issues. They always have a service rep that reaches back out to you and they can get most issues reported resolved within a few days. For example, I discovered a crack in the wall behind the toilet and two days later someone showed up to fix it. This was 5 weeks after sale date.

From the purchasing process with Catherine, to the inspection process with Ron and Kim, working with the Lennar homes team has been awesome

I felt rushed to move in, so that Lennar can show a completed sale despite the home was rushed. The home also had materials and parts removed to finish other homes in the series and when the contractors replaced parts back the quality control was compromised with re installation. Should have informed my lawyer to get involved with write contingencies before I sign off the walk thru. Felt like things were purposely hidden. should have never signed off in good faith things would be addressed. felt duped and lied too. Now moved in close to two months in and don’t feel comfortable inside my home. cannot even enjoy since the cabinets have missing hardware missed drilled holes, compromised installation, no quality control and tile has stains that were never buffed out. Our Lennar customer service rep is ok but the manager or foreman is a complete lack there of and never double checked worked. ... More

I would never in my life recommend buying a home with Lennar to my worst enemy. From the sales rep, Orin, being so uniformative and having horrible communication. I actually lost out on the same house I purchased that couldve been $20,000 less but in the middle of signing and trying to pay earnest money Orin stopped responding and we lost the house. I've never even met the "man" in person. We were never told about the ONLY 20ft of grass and found out on our final walk through with no option to add more. Next headache I suffered was Natasha W in the loan or mortgage side. Absolutely repulsive behavior by yelling at my fiance on the phone with our realtor also on the phone. Natasha and Orin made this experience a 1/10 solely by themselves. But if we had to add more I would also tell you how reckless, careless, and lazy, the construction crew is. Our house was near completion and we found cigarettes all throughout our (pretty much finished) home. Beer bottles in the bath tub. Holes busted in the walls. Putty smeared on the livingroom windows. And yes we have photos of all of this and we did send them into the construction manager and it took a few times of us complaining and explaining that this is our home and we deserve to have a little respect shown. This was the absolute worst experience I could have ever imagined how a first time home buying would be. We have so many friends that love this neighborhood and were looking to buy in guadalupe heights and we turned them away to save them headache heartache and misery. Carrie, Colby and Ashley were all great! They responded quickly to all my needs! Carrie followed through until the end. She made the loan process smooth. Ashley was the best construction manager. She followed up even after closing to make sure everything was ok. Colby was very detailed with my walk through. He made sure I knew all the ins and outs of my new home. Thanks Lennar!

The buying of our home was great however we’ve had a lot of difficulty working with Lennar’s warranty team to address issues. They are slow to respond, confusing to communicate with, and lacking in basic customer service.

It is obvious that Lennar is rushing to close their units and get the payment as soon as possible. Most condos are released with many deficiencies. At first the builder crew was responsive in attending some major finishing issues but after 3 months since closing they dont even answer calls or reply to messages. Very disappointing

I am so happy with the home I purchased with Lennar, the team that helped me were so awesome and genuine. My loan officers Adam and Rick were very helpful and guided me through the entire process. Very happy and glad I chose to but with Lennar.

We started looking for older houses in our price range. Which was exceptionally hard in the 2022-2023 housing market. Our realtor brought us to LENNAR, and we got a great deal. New construction, big yard, price in my range, and interst rate in the 4's. Great people, great company. Turned our families dream into a reality!

Great experience and value with Lennar!

Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash. I regret buying this home.

We have been super happy with the purchase of our new home built by Lennar. When we had our own home inspector inspect the house, he was very disappointed in the fact that he couldn’t point out any major flaws of the home. The inspector said the house was built very well and he couldn’t find any major issues. They go above and beyond to make sure their buyers are happy. For example, Lennar is replacing the sod in our front yard because it didn’t root properly, which Lennar didn’t have to do since the sod isn’t apart of our home warranty. We are well pleased with the purchase of our new home.

The Lennar team end to end has been thorough, friendly, effective, attentive, respectful and proactive throughout the whole process.

Ray helped me and ALWAYS answered the phone, which is really important I think. The project manager, Russell, was very helpful as well, and I was allowed to do multiple walk-throughs of the property as it was built. After everything was done, Julius, the warranty guy was super responsive in giving attention to a couple of things that I missed. Overall a really good experience. Would definitely recommend this builder to any friends and family.

Although i know that with any home there is no such thing as perfect, however, certain attentions to detail are clearly missing here. It definitely feels like quantity over quality. There were many things on our punch list that has still not been fixed. During our walkthroughs things were said they would be done personally by the construction manager that day, and they are still not fixed. We were told our house would be locked up at night before we were able to move in but after we had closed, and the doors were left unlocked. Again told by the construction manager. Right now we are in a battle to get someone to come and fix our irrigation because we have a broken pipe that is just flooding our backyard and can’t seem to get anyone over. My list goes on. Overall I wouldn't recommend a Lennar community to others. You are inundated with so many different people during the buying and closing process, who knows who anyone is and why are there so many different titled people to handle this process. They don't all communicate together and it shouldn't be my job solely to keep everyone up to date, especially if I'm not receiving answers for issues. I was under the impression that I wouldn't be dealing with the same type of unexpected issues that arise when buying an already established home. We've had the electricians and plumbers out numerous times since closing and moving in. Our home should not have been plumbed backward and that is something that should have been caught in an inspection. Items on a to do list for a pre closing walkthrough should be addressed and not have to be made an exception when not completed by closing. Everything went well and closed on time.

With in a month I could see dry wall cracks, cracked wood.

Great home buying experience. This was my first time purchasing a home. Lennar took out the stress and worry through the entire process. They kept me in the loop every step of the way. I will definitely be recommending Lennar to my circle of people I know.

If possible monitor your home being built from start to finish. Look closely at your walk through - there are lots of discrepancies to pick out as the contractors used during the home build are not attentive to detail.

Quality issues with almost everything. No transparency from the construction manager and overall no good communication. Lennar’s standard is much lower than it should be and even though the work is done it is not quality. Anywhere they can they are trying to cut corners to save money and try and just do “good enough” work. Even though their work is clearly sub-par. Yes our house is completed and yes we are happy in our home but Lennar’s quality control is lacking, their honesty and transparency is sub-par at best.

I was told to contact Joe with issues. I let him know my dishwasher was leaking. Joe was so amazingly helpful that he told me to stop using it. I am not making that up. That was the end of his assistance. I explained there was a pile of drywall, a tarp and debris in front of my garage door. After a week, most of it was cleaned. Amazing, Lennar!
