Entire process was smooth and easy. I love my home and very happy with My choice!

Poor workmanship , filthy , many major issues , Poor quality control and still waiting for issues to be repaired correctly .

I just moved in to this brand new construction and I found out how bad the finishing and the materials quality are poor: all doors and baseboards are chipped, the guest bathroom tub is broken, toilette lid is broken in the master, appliances have dents, garage walls and ceilings not painted, cracks in the garage ceiling and concrete, cracks on the patio concrete, etc I submitted a SR to have things fixed before I move in to the house and they insisted in doing an online inspection even though I informed I have no internet connected in the house and the 5G signal was bad. All Service Requests have been close as they have been fixed and never have done anything yet. Very bad experience ! ... More

I just bought a property at lennar at Lakeland. This is the worst experience I have ever have. They took 2 months to install the motorway and shelves. The ceiling over the island kitchen is already leaking. There is water from the ceiling and leaking over the island kitchen. 2 months.

"I was extremely disappointed with the process of purchasing a Lennar Home through the agent, Gina. When I visited the model home out of curiosity and to gather information, I was not properly informed about the purchasing process. According to Lennar policy, this meant that I could not have an agent who would receive commission on the sale and I would have to pay for it out of pocket. I believe this is unethical and contributes to the loss of trust in large institutions. During the final walk-through, I felt rushed by the customer representative, Lisa, and the manager in charge of the area. I expected everything to be new when I bought a new home, but instead, I was told by the manager (whose name I cannot recall) that the amount of tape I used was "unusual", which was not the response I expected from a customer-focused company. They had tried to convince me that the cold and hot water lines in the second floor bathroom were not reversed, even though the inspector had clearly stated they were. I had to go back and test it myself to prove that the lines were indeed reversed, which only then prompted a corrective action. The experience only got worse from there - the roof leaked during the first freeze and an ice dam formed; there was a water leak at the main shut-off valve in the garage, and a tile in the master bathroom with a clear defect was played off as needing additional cleaning. As a nurse, I understand the importance of establishing trust with another person. For me, it is the patient, and for you it is your customer. Ok experience with Lennar. The Closing process was a breeze, the level of professionalism was immaculate. On the other hand the workmanship on my home was poor. I can still feel the padding underneath the carpet. It was not a easy transition as I thought it would be.

The purchase process went well, however we weren’t provided an option to make changes to the preselected options.

The house was not even finished when we did our tour before closing. We closed with the promise things would be completed. It took months before everything was completed. The finish work (cabinet marks, molding, doors and painting) are awful!! The paint brusheds were dirty and it left brush marks and dirt on the molding throughout the house. Painters came back several times to try to correct the issues but to no avail. The taping in the garage is terrible.

Delayed closing caused me to extend my rental. On the day of closing my Salesperson was delayed with my keys and it caused the movers to hold my furniture on their truck for 3 hours extra. He knew we needed to close on Dec 15th. All the paperwork was signed, bank rep knew closing was on the 15th The construction crew tapped into my electricity on three different occasions. It wasn't until 1 week later that a sign was placed In front of our home that it was owner occupied.

Lennar was huge disappointment. Lack of communication from sales agent and construction manager made the purchase and building process very frustrating and difficult. If we didn’t love the neighborhood we would have walked away.

Average home for average price. Not very responsive to issues.

First I will start by saying that after talking to other buyers in the neighborhood, we are not the only one that feels this way. Multiple delays on our closing date with promises that were never delivered. We dealt with an absolutely rude construction manager that had do desire to listen or get anything accomplished, but was argumentative. We appeared to be more of a hassle to her. Once we finally moved in there was a long list of things that were not acceptable and poor craftmanship. Lennar is about quantity not quality, this is why they can claim to be #1. For a home that was almost 3/4 of a million dollars you would think that you would be able to move right in comfortably without fixing mistakes, cleaning up messes, installing lighting, etc... Lennar is no longer a builder that I would recommend to family and friends. ... More

Agreed to buy home at $30k at 3.99%. The morning of closing they changed rate to 4.79%. Have made 7 warranty claims in 3 months. No windows in back of home that open. Cracks in the ceiling. The underwriting process was awful.

My experience began with a very energetic salesperson and loan processor who worked to get my home under contract. My experience went downhill from the time I did the final walkthrough, closing, and moving into a home that has lots of poor workmanship and materials. The final walkthrough was conducted by the Superintendent alone, no salesperson. The Title company, was horrid to say the least. We met with a Notary and no one from the Title company addressed us at all. The title company sent emails indicating that we were to return to the home after the closing, however there was no one here to meet us, we had to go find the Superintendent who showed us where the keys were. No one bothered to explain who we were to contact for utilities or where to pick up our mail as the mailboxes were not operable. The painters dripped paint on my tub, light switches, tile holders and the floors. The concrete installers missed a section of the back patio, so we had to except a glaring difference in the concrete or the section would be without concrete creating a breach between the patio and the back of the house. In the front walkway, the concrete is not only cracking, it is breaking up and we are being told that nothing can be done to correct the problem. The concrete in the garage is not level, and again we are being told that nothing can be done and if something is done, we will have two different colors of concrete in the garage. Nothing has been done so far, therefore, I do not trust Lennar as a builder and have serious regrets about my decision to purchase my home from Lennar. What an absolute nightmare of a home, DO NOT BUY! This is hands down the worst home I’ve ever been in. From the terrible experience with their mortgage team, to getting left high and dry on terrible workmanship, I absolutely do not suggest you buy a Lennar home. Everything on my house was done last minute slapped together and I’ve just taken the beating because it looked good for a solid second. Giant moat in backward won’t get fixed so I’m stuck with a huge landscaping bill. Entire house covered in huge cracks, trim separations, and nail pops which won’t be fixed because it’s “cosmetic.” Roof line has serious sags and they won’t fix the sod in the front yard that was destroyed during our walk through with one of their trucks. I’ll be selling this dumpster as soon as I fix all this mess. STAY AWAY! ... More

We are very happy with help pf several peoples especially Abby, with Lennar.

We closed on home 2 months ago and still require over a Dozen repairs to be addressed and one is security related. Have made numerous requests to have these items repaired. Seems that Lennar is focused on mass production instead of Quality. Overall, we love the neighbor's and facility attributes.

We were very pleased and impressed with our New Home Consultant. The buying process was handled efficiently and professionally through her. Unfortunately, the experience of dealing with construction issues has not been the same. Both the new home orientation and final walk-thru were very disappointing due to the number and nature of items needing attention, the cleanliness of the house, as well as the responses from the construction rep regarding these issues. A list was made by the construction rep at the final walk-thru and we were promised the items would be taken care of within days after closing. With issues unresolved almost six weeks after closing, issues were reported to the portal on Feb 7 and we are awaiting a response. ... More

The experience of purchasing my home was quick and easy.

the closing process seemed rushed...Lennar should allow small upgrades during construction...ie Noseeum screens...light fixtures etc

This is our first new home in quite sometime, and the whole experience from sales to the fast response to our new home after move in. We are so happy with our new Townhome and very happy with Lennar.

Lennar sold our house to us and then sold the loan without letting us know until several days after the sale. They keep communicating with us even though we no longer have a business relationship.

Attention to detail in finishing needs to be involved. Thanks.
