Very satisfying. I reside out of town in another state and relied on a relative to handle on site visits as well as some correspondence. All went well and Lennar cooperated with the situation. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Comfortable home for a good price. Friendly and helpful people.

Communication was not the best. The morning of closing, was told we might not get the home due to documents that were needed and not told to us until day of closing. Did not get a lot of information from Lennar rep. Thing that are supposed to get fixed still are not and can’t get ahold of correct person to do so. Will recommend due to beautiful homes but will no recommend due to lack of communication

Don’t expect much. Quick sale. Delayed completion then bullied into signing off with very short notice. Crooked walls horrible stucco job. Cheap construction. Now being out of state we are left to pick up the pieces. Since our on- line closing we have NEVER heard from our sales agent and offered no help. Shameful indeed

First of all, I want to say our Customer Service representative, Hayley, has done a lot to pull these marks back from the brink of zeros. Now that I have that out of the way, let me begin. We had to do everything remote as we lived out of town at the onset of our decision to buy. First of all we weren’t informed that by going to see a house without a realtor that we were forced to complete the process without a realtor. This in the end seemed to be an effort to take advantage of us since we were treated like someone who needed representation and didn’t have any. The communication was lacking and for people doing business on the other side of the country- 3,000 miles and 3 time zones away there was a need for breathing room on our part as the customer not Lennar’s. With buying plane tickets as a necessity for closing, more than a email was necessary to explain the walk through, closing, etc. the language is different in terms of what happens at closing and what we can expect so we we’re constantly chasing and playing catch up. This is not to be expected on such a massive purchase with such a system that Lennar has in place to go through the process. The homebuyer aka customer should never feel like cattle. Just saying. Now, the construction. We decided on a house already in the process, no problem there, but we received exactly one update on our house. Next the finish. Our house was a disaster when we finally got to see it the day of closing. There were partially painted walls; outlets over painted; doors not painted; paint chips missing; a microwave and trash in our garage; 10 screws/nails on our garage floor (and counting); drawers installed improperly; doors/drawers that wouldn’t shut; a light falling out of the ceiling; trim work not completed; drywall not properly taped; dust everywhere; and many more. The construction manager had the nerve to say “oh well they had their chance to inspect”. I just bought an $800K home that you half way finished and rushed to get out without doing any basic walks let alone a full one (by the way I still have not met the building superintendent) and you have the nerve to say you won’t come and fix what you didn’t finish. ... Well let’s start with the deception of the sales team or shall I say Abby. She speaks very condescending, she gives false information and misrepresents what you’re purchasing. Then tells you when she gets called out on it “just cancel the transaction then.” Her management doesn’t hold her accountable and they don’t even respond to complaints or concerns so there’s no wonder why she gets away with having poor ethics. I have all this in email correspondence to back this up as well. She is very unprofessional and it doesn’t matter because it seems like a company problem. When we did our walk through the first time we found tons of problems. We were told it was a 3 hour long appointment but we felt rushed and were there for 2 and he apparently was filling in for someone else. Half way through my walk through I asked if we were being picky he said no but about 30 minutes later when we noticed the door frame wasn’t painted and window was crooked he then said “ we’ll you are being a bit picky.” For a crooked window? Our sales rep and the lender have been the two pleasant experiences we’ve had. Both very responsive and very professional. The issues we ran into are being addressed thankfully. But would I purchase Lennar again. Ask me in a year because the buying process with lies and the headaches we ran into this far I would advise others not to. ... More

Lennar took great care of me. Andrea (Lennar Mortgage), Mary (Closing Coordinator), and Derek (Construction) were by my side every step of the way in my buying process, making the whole experience seamless.

Floorboards don’t meet edge to edge. Carpets have staples popping out and not secure to the floors, drywall and paint left on and in between floor boards, paint on every baseboard of every entryway, shower tiles uneven, no grout sealant in showers, overuse and build-up of caulk, crown is cracked from top to bottom, line work from wall to crown to ceiling is uneven and spotty -ranging from not meeting to edge to crossing over onto the crown, paint on tile edges, center island ought to have sensibly been measured to a single top rather than molding two pieces together at what apparently was the end of a mis-measurement. Lennar salesperson was easy to work with and offered an easy in house mortgage offering with no closing costs. However, the mortgage application process was clunky and exposed a lot of internal communication problems. We had to approve everything twice because a second application was started because we were locked out of their site. Instead of canceling one they required us to approve all documents twice. Upgraded appliances were included in our agreement. However, Lennar reneged on this and refused to honor the contract. This turned what should have been a positive experience into a frustratingly negative one. The customer care team found many defects during our walkthrough which were repaired before closing. ... USPS will not deliver mail for those of us on Eden Ave. our mailbox location in the wrong location for the mail carrier our street uses. USPS says they can’t get Kenner to do anything about it. It’s been months of having to go to usps location to pick up ourselves.

Despite hurricane Ian and the delays it caused, the quality of the new home is really solid. I’d recommend Lennar to all my friends.

On day 1 we had a water leak because a pipe from the AC unit burst inside the house. Weeks of inconvenience and worry. The paint is already peeling. Issues with the washing machine and windows. Very sloppy workmanship with little or no supervision. There is more I could add.

I moved in 2 months after closing . Home was built in rush so there are many little issue including internet connection with HOA but they are very responsive in resolving all the issues . I have to send multiple tickets but they care and help to resolve the problem .

Overall extremely challenging to communicate with the lennar team. Multiple people all responsible for different branches none of them communicate clearly, causing lots of frustration.

Below par quality. Lot of cosmetic issues. You charge premium price but your house quality is far below than premium From the issues I see looks like there is no quality inspection done for cosmetic issues before handing over to customer. Pathetic paint job. Grade C. Cleanliness issues Take the accountability. Value the customer and be respectful.

The house design and sales agent were great. That is where it ends. At best the craftsmanship is poor. Lack of attention to detail is on full display. When you are paying near 500K for a home, one deserves more than shoddy work. Lennar is not responsive to requests for service and fabricates excuses why they are not liable.

I purchased a single family home a +55 Active Community and would not ever purchase from Lennar again. Attention to detail and simply doing the job right the first time is lacking. 1. There was not a model for me see so I relied on assurances from the salesperson about certain aspects of the home. The model I toured had large lanai similar size to the one on my house. The model has a hose spigot. I specifically asked the salesperson if my house would have one and was told yes. After the house went up and I inquired why the spigot wasn't there, I was told no. 2.I have doors that open onto each other meaning the door handle from one door is already denting the opposite door. When the door warranty person came out he advised one of the doors should have been a pocket door. In two other places where the doors open onto one another he advised the swing of the door should have been reversed. Lennar's response is, just because our warranty person makes a recommendation we are not bound to make the correction. The result will be that I end up tearing a hole in the door. 3. When I moved in the outlets on the kitchen wall did not work. The warranty electrician had to cut a hole in the dry wall and install a junction box because one was not installed in the build. That meant another warranty person had to come back repair the drywall and paint. 4. A couple days after moving in I smelled gas in the cabinet under the gas cook top. The gas company came out and showed me that the connection had been properly sealed - thus the leak.5. The stainless still kitchen sink is horribly scratched. At the time of final walk through there was so much dust and an dirt in the sink I did not see the scratches. A warranty person came once an rubbed out some of the scratches, I am waiting on a second visit. 6.There is no brush on the bottom of the sliding glass door so bugs come in. Daily, there is as much dirt in the tracks inside as outside the door. 7. The MBD and FR ceiling and light fan were wired so that both the light and the fan were on the same switch when you should be able to turn on one or the other. Meaning... yet another call for and trip from a warranty person to correct the issue. Every trip by a warranty person is another request and another day I have to arrange to be home with people traipsing in and out of the house. 8. The house was left was dirty. The grout in the tile floor is filthy. It should be a light color almost white and it is gray with dust and dirt. Looks like they laid the floors and failed to cover them while additional work was being done. After closing I removed one of the upper and lower cabinet next to the refrigerator to have a bar area built. When we removed the lower cabinet we found the cabinet had been installed on the cement floor. They should have extended the kitchen tile and then installed the cabinet. Additionally the floors in the showers were not cleaned after construction. ... More

We had a nice experience with Lennar, would be appreciated more flexibility on changes that impact our lives in the new home. The company does not have flexibility at all to do changes even if you are willing to pay.

Overall, I was disappointed with my homebuying experience.

The workmanship is the worst I have ever seen. The follow up is almost nonexistent. Customer service is slower than slow. It takes for ever just to get a return call.

The purchase experience for new home from Lennard Homes, was a smooth and painless. The Lennard team did all the work, and made it possible to close in one month. The loan officers communicated with us the whole process to avoid delays and helps us obtain our Dream Home.

Mark did what my real estate agent did not do. I used a financing program that is not is not normally used (USDA Single Family Homes). Most people are not familiar with it. This financing program requires that you purchase in certain areas. The USDA originally said that the location I had selected was within the required location but 2 months before closing they informed me that the location I selected was NOT within the required locations. I was devastated. I called Mark and my agent to let them know that I was not going to be able to purchase the home because of the location. While my agent accepted this, Mark did not. Mark called my contact at the USDA and was able to convince them that the home I was interested in did fall in the necessary location. Mark is an incredible asset to Lennar. I wish we had more Marks in the world!! I am so grateful for him. Mark held my hand through the whole home purchasing process. I never dreamed I could live in such a beautiful home in a secure neighborhood. "Thank you" does not feel adequate to express my gratitude to Mark. Isabel ... More
