Easy to work with most of the time. Quality of home is extremely poor. Contractors need to pay closer attention to detail. Poor workmanship. The “integrity“ of Lennar is poor Would not recommend your company to anyone else

Overall the experience has been difficult, we closed in late May and still do not have a mailbox and the address is not recognized by the post office or on maps. It has been extremely difficult to get furniture and other items delivered to the house. Our internet service took over 2 months to get turned on the house for the same reason as the service provider could not confirm the address to be true. I wish Lennar had waited another month or two before closing, moving in when we did has been a very unpleasant experience.

Some issues was resolved but other issues are present and no one has responded yet honestly it’s like I’m actually bothering them

I walked into a home I bought online and when I did see it in person I was not happy, there wasn't any grass in the yard, and inside it's as if it was done by a someone in a rush and was cross-eyed, I woke up to a pile of ants and a few spiders and when I went to talk to someone about it was told that it's my home so I would have to deal with it, and this was after living in there for 3 days, a front driveway that has a crack across three panels that I still have to pay full price for, no back pad that I can grill on, cabinets that hits the walls and flooring that was done without care, when I first looked into this company, I told others to look into it and buy, now I don't do it because I do not want someone to blame me for buying from Lennar ... when you do your house walk the first and second time, everything looks great and you are loving it, once you are settled in, you start to really notice everything is rushed and done the cheapest way, when you are putting in tickets for repairs, they take along time to reply, i understand i am not the only one here but on some tickets, they dont even get back to you, i am still waiting on cracked/broken cabinet drawer which i mentioned in the walk thru

Overall, the experience has been pleasant. The finance side of the business went very well. But, from the time we completed our initial walk-through to now has not been so pleasant. I was told that Lennar doesn't complete a thorough cleaning of their properties. It's called "construction clean". So, we had to go through the entire property once we closed to clean all paint, tape, and sheetrock dust off of everything. Now, I have a warranty claim, and they are telling me it's homeowner maintenance. I am not pleased right now.

Once moved in noticed a few things that needed to be touched up reached out and still haven’t heard back. Blessed to have a new home for my family and I but would love a call back to get things touched up that was promised if we needed anything.

The quality of the home is very poor compared to my last home which was built by Richmond. There are cracks in the garage and basement. The appliance quality is not good. One of the windows in the closet is overlaid with drywall. I didn't even know that window existed. I would strongly suggest Lennar not make money off customers by making them pay/lease for the solar systems. I had a bigger solar system in my old home and I paid for half the price that Lennar/Sunnova is charging us. Please, please don't profit from us in the name of the environment. We will bet better solar panels at half the price. They didn't even put rough in the basement just to save a few hundred bucks (it will cost the homeowner thousands of dollars if they decide to finish their basement). ... More

Try to resolve issues with cut corners on maintenance. My sink faucet is leaking and water comes down in closet, and every time different people comes and explain that when you clean sink, water supposed not go behind faucet. So I have to keep towel all the times behind the faucet. I never heard like that. I was owning the home earlier and I used to clean bathrooms and I never seen water under the closet. The faucet gasket has to be sealed and leak free.

Buying experience was good but on the building side of it it’s poor

Worst Experience with Lennar Mortgage never ever again from start to finish. Terrible experience. These people working for your mortgage company are not trained the right way.

Day 2 after move in revealed a major plumbing issue. I give credit to the response time here. It was addressed the next day.. but they had to tear the front porch concrete and brick up to fix the problem. It was repaved and bricked, but a few footprints were left imprinted in it and the new beams that sit on the porch still have the plastic wrap on them. We've contacted the appropriate people to fix these things but it's been 3 weeks and I'm not sure they will.

This review is like A Tale of Two Cities. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. The sales, purchasing, financing, closing and everything else that dealt this the finance/management/updates was fantastic. Everything to do with the construction, construction management, and resolving issues on site was absolutely horrible. The craftsmanship was horrible. It feels like the home was put together over a weekend. The flooring, cabinetry, dry wall, and painting were all done in such a rush and there are still countless issues that still haven't been resolved. Appliances weren't tested. Globs of cement all over garage floor. Globs o f cement between garage floor and beginning of driveway and a 2 inch height difference between garage floor and driveway leading to myself and guests tripping (very dangerous). Hardware missing on door lock to back porch. Masterbath shower drain corroded with tile red and white plaster :(totally unsightly). Cement splattered all over trim of outside garage door and all along front of garage where floor meets driveway, etc. One thumbs up nice quality kitchen appliances.

Our journey with Lennar was a bitter sweet one. Our first visit to a Lennar office was met with a very rude and unprofessional agent who was very excited to sell to us and when he saw our DOB on our IDs quickly returned them and told us there was no home available and will be none anytime soon. We left and returned some other time with our agent to be greeted and welcome by an absolutely amazing Lennar agent, Ty. Tyrone walked us through the process and assisted in every step of the way until closing. We had a little bit of hiccups with the closing agents and loan officers over constantly requesting for the same documents over and over again. Of course, the military wasn’t making it easier for them either. When we moved in, the AC was not working and we contacted Lennar warranty service and until today, they have not shown up, we fixed the problem. Overall, everyone we met did their jobs but Tyrone went above and beyond to represent the Lennar brand while recognizing we are buying a home not a pen. With Lennar, it’s just about working with the right person because the brand itself has so much to offer. ... More

During the turning over or congratulations ceremony pay attention to small details about the house. As it will be very difficult to ask for service after. It took almost a month to have the garage door fixed bec the RC was not even programmed and when we tried it totally didn’t work that even the wall remote won’t work. If you are not a busy person you have all the time to do all but if you have work and a busy person and rely for service it will take u a while of waiting for the service to be done. Same with the ring door it was fine but suddenly stop and again a wait period of atleast 2 weeks. Up until now there are flaws we can see. ... More

Lennar construction have no craftsmanship.My entry door is manufactured defective waiting for replacement. Customer care team can’t do miracles until they get parts. Cunstruction supervisor is trying to finish and sell he doesn’t care about quality . I hope upper management team will do more better

We were super excited to close on our home in May. Lennar had attempted to move our closing day up a couple of weeks, which did not work with our schedules, so we left it as it. When we went for our first walk through, we shocked at the state of the house. Things were damaged. Things were dirty. We were promised it would be taken care of and ready to go. By closing day, nothing had been finished, including missing doors. We agreed to close since we had no where else to go. We were told the work would be done. It’s been two months at the end Of July and there is still a lot that needs to be done, in addition the amount of problems we’ve found in the home. Including water leaks, no security, no watering system, leaks in the sprinklers, dead trees, broke garage, damaged things that were said to be replaced etc. ultimately if we hadn’t had Deb in the beginning of the process help us navigate these challenges it would still be a mess. We are grateful to her. On the post closing side Abby has been phenomenal with trying to get people into get the work done. I feel like without the two of them there would have been no progress. Well let’s see. I have no screens no fences no motion detector only one intake for air that had to be fixed a doorbell that does not ring painting that has not been finished and two awnings that’s have not been installed. What do you think. The home buying process was great! Getting anything done after closing and moving in is where the customer service fails. Don’t be so quick to meet the “demands of building houses”so quickly and focus on a good completed product. Would you allow YOUR family to live in a house like this with so many issues that are not attended to? I’m a nurse. What if the tables were turned and you brought your spouse or child into the hospital in cardiac arrest? When attempting to shock a heart into a viable rhythm, no shock came, only death. Would it be acceptable to you that I “forgot to plug in the machine?”!!!!!! Different situation, same concept. PLY YOUR TRADE!!! ... More

Lots of issues with drywall and paint.

Building a house consists of many jobs combination. When one job is complete, the other previous job is demolished or severely damaged. As the result: no supervision or any kind responsibilities from the workers and management. For instance: installing a very expensive quartz countertop with no supportive brackets underneath! They tossed the heavy stone countertop straight onto the wooden cabinet without 3 or 4 supportive brackets at all! While we mention that to their representative, he insisted that it should be like that!!!! People have orientation day to their brand new house with leaking water unknown source!!! Can you imagine your brand new house with the hole in the sealing with running water?! ... More

for the first-month fixing service, 85% good, a lot of places that need to fix and the worker figures them out on time, but the 15% Is disappointed since they didn't finish them all, I spend an hour to mark the area which they said will come at the other day but they never came back. Now I took all the tapes off, don't want to spend any time finding them again. for the other issue report experience, I feel this is unacceptable. 1.Didn't get 3rd floor AC controller after move-in. 2.after a few months get the controller by a nice guy at Lennar, but the AC still can't work and no one comeback to fix it. 3.we still report the issue on the website. But no one reply as soon as we just moved in, sometimes no reply. 4.we just got this house for 4 months, the dishwasher can't dry, the internet connection has issues. overall, their houses are nice houses, they are in good design, good layout, good space, the community has a lot of activities. still recommended if someone wants to find a place to live. Just wish this builder working on construction details and service since those two points bother me the most. ... More

Interested in selling but lennar buil quality is poor

These are slap together homes contracted with the lowest bid subcontractors. They do NOT care about quality. They want you to believe you are their priority. Once you sign. Goodluck with any warranty repair. Their contract states they have 60 days and we have been waiting double.

The sales team is second to none. Responsive, customer oriented, etc. The construction and warranty team are not cut from the same cloth. Not my job, not covered, hustle to get us to sign off on shoddy work. The sales team went above and beyond to make things right.
